Are you just reading the Bible or living it?

If we are to be effective in the Kingdom of God we can't separate our lives from what we do in church. The vast majority of what Jesus taught was rejected. We preach what is important for the betterment of God's Kingdom and for us as well.
Our goal should be to be Biblical. What does it really say? Do we live it? Are we just reading the Bible or are we living it? Are we a part of the “church” by just attending? Attending doesn't make us to be a child of God.

If we look in scripture what does a “church” gathering look like?
The first thing that stands out would be love one another. We are to listen, chat, and see what hearts are saying. I once felt that church was for “my time with God” but I have learned that the gathering also has a priority to love one another. Time alone with God should already have happened so I show up with something for others; a tangible love with action and truth.

The second had a focus on getting the message out to others. Most have never told anyone about Him. Our testimony is to be about Him not the church we attend. Most never have discipled anyone. We should be telling others about God's way and that it works, teaching other to have faith in Him, that trading in our life for His way is better.
Thirdly, to have a dependence on the Holy Spirit, it's absolutely a necessity to be yielded.
Fourth we need to prioritize communion–breaking bread.
Fifth, gather together to pray, to come into His presence in unity, for the leading of the Holy Spirit.
If we were a people like that we could Biblically be called the church. Yes, and others would be attracted to Jesus. Why say we are followers of Christ when we don't follow Him, just attending doesn't make us followers no more than playing in a swimming pool makes us a “swimmer”. Yes we should go to church, but are we following Jesus are we really believing on Him so He is changing our lives? Are we loving people with action, are we focusing our lives on getting this message out, are we depending on the Holy Spirit or our activities? Are we having communion? Are we praying and learning how to enter His presence? Are we encouraging one another, are we doing what He commanded us to do? Is our energy set to do what He commanded; practice loving one another, serving one-another. Are we at peace with one-another? Are we showing hospitality? Do we want to serve others and bear one another's burdens? Are we showing one another that we want to forgive, submit to the concerns in the affairs of others? Are we dedicated to help, go to them speaking encouragement to them, do we want to pray for one another? We are to be mindful of one another; we are to highly esteemed one another and have fellowship with one another. Do we want to teach one another? Have we been really doing this?
Let’s strive to be more Biblical in our lives.

More on a more popular stage, Michael Douglas was the sex addiction’s Patient Zero. But back then it was just known as one of the under-researched symptoms of conditions similar to being in a famous band, as opposed to the standalone celebrity blight.
Michael revealed that the doctors have linked his throat cancer to oral sex and HPV; an STD (Sexually transmitted disease). Since then; Michael is constantly drawing the world’s attention towards the disease and how having oral sex can cause cancer.

According to the doctors the disease is spreading and it is a matter of big concern for the man.
While he was announcing and discussing about his new movie, he started the conversation on an entirely different subject related to oral sex and cancer. Although this wasn’t new information for the doctors, but the people were shocked and surprised.
He mentioned that according to the National Cancer Institute: more than 60% throat cancers are cause by HPV, a sexually transmitted disease which is contracted through genital or oral sex. There are around 16 million people in America suffering from HPV, but gets converted to cancer in very few people.
He discussed and warned the people how they should take precautions on the matter and save themselves from cancer. He also covered a few guidelines on sex addiction.

A UK-born man is still driving in New Zealand at the grand old age of 105, according to reports.
Bob Edwards, who was born in England in 1908, still drives about three times a week, heading to a shop 15km from home to pick up groceries and the odd newspaper.
Edwards says that he's been involved in just one crash since getting his driver's licence way back in 1925. He adds that he's been issued just one speeding ticket in that time too.
His 91-year-old wife, Lesley, says that she stopped driving about 30 years ago.

Saudi prince sues Forbes over place on billionaires list

A Saudi prince has launched a defamation lawsuit against Forbes magazine in a U.K. court for placing him too low on its annual list of the world's billionaires, the Guardian newspaper has reported.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal claims the U.S. business publication was off by $9.6 billion US when it calculated his net worth at $20 billion, placing him 26th on the 2013 list of billionaires instead of in the Top 10 where he felt he belonged. This year's list, published in March, had a total of 1,426 names of people on it, whose aggregate net worth is $5.4 trillion US.

Alwaleed argues in a claim reportedly filed in a high court in London that by not allotting him the ranking he feels he deserves and by suggesting in a March 2013 story that his own assessment of his net worth and that of his business, Kingdom Holding Company, is overblown, Forbes damaged his reputation.
The Guardian reported that court documents name the Forbes publisher, the magazine's editor and two Forbes journalists as defendants in the defamation suit.
The prince alleges that the U.S. publication's assessment of his company is also indicative of a general bias against Saudi firms and Middle East investors.
"We continue to be bemused by Prince Alwaleed's ego-driven PR stunt," Forbes said in a statement emailed to CBC News on Friday. "Forbes still has not been served with any lawsuit. Our story raises significant questions about his finances, and we would welcome the opportunity to uncover further relevant information during the course of any hypothetical suit."

Adel Elseri and Said Fayad, both 26, say their invention is far more hygienic than a conventional toothbrush.

‘You don’t use your hands, hygiene is key,’ Elseri told the Montreal Gazette.
Elseri, a 26-year-old boilermaker said he was driving home from a 12-hour shift working in Fort mcmurray when he came up with the idea, he said.
The pair have already set up a Facebook page and Twitter account for their invention, and are currently auditioning for the Canadian version of Dragons Den, where they hope to raise $100,000 Canadian dollars to begin production.

Just outside President Goodluck Jonathan’s office sat 17 ambulances, just in case he or one of his aides fell ill. They were seldom if ever used.

No actual health-care facility nationwide had as many, and in fact a few still have none at all. But as soon as a Nigerian newspaper took a photo of the ambulances and published a story about them, they suddenly disappeared — probably to an underground garage.

Jonathan is president of Nigeria, which should be among the world’s most prosperous nations. After all, it produces an estimated 2.4 million barrels of oil each and every day. With oil now selling at $93.61 a barrel, that’s $224 million in income daily. And yet many hospitals can’t afford to buy an ambulance. The reason, in my view: Nigeria is the most corrupt nation on earth.

Sure, Transparency International lists almost three dozen states as more corrupt — Chad, Haiti, Laos, Yemen, Cambodia and the like. But are any of those nations as wealthy as Nigeria — taking in $81 billion annually, just from the sale of oil? No, not even one of them. So Nigeria steals and squanders more money than any other nation, making it the world’s most corrupt, by that measure.

Nigerian journalist Musikilu Mojeed finds all this so discouraging.

“With its geopolitical power, economic resources and middle class,” he laments, “no country (with the possible exception of Saudi Arabia and Egypt) has the power to change the course of black/African civilization like Nigeria.” After all, Nigeria is Africa’s most populous state — and large, twice the size of California.

So Nigerians are living an opportunity squandered — particularly now. Egypt is in turmoil. In just the last few days, in fact, many Egyptians have been calling for a military coup — anything to rid the state of its widely despised Muslim Brotherhood government. And a new report by the World Economic Forum ranked Egypt the least safe and secure tourist destination among 140 tourist nations evaluated.

Egypt has lost its place as the Arab/African worlds’ leader, and Saudi Arabia never had it. So for Nigeria, the time is ripe. But its leaders seem interested only in stealing the state’s money to make themselves rich beyond imaging. Think about it: $81 billion a year just from the oil, while most every local government official still tells his people the nation just doesn’t have enough money to fix the roads, schools or hospitals. (Roads are in such terrible shape that government officials generally travel any distance by helicopter.)

And Nigeria’s people — well, they are as mistreated as any on earth. In only nine nations — among them Liberia, Sierra Leone and Somalia — do more mothers die during childbirth. And in only 10 states, including Chad, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe, is the average life expectancy lower. Right now the average Nigerian’s average life span ends at 52. That may be why the median age of Nigerians is just 18.

A few months ago, the Economist Intelligence Unit published an evaluation of the best places for babies to born in 2013, given their probable welfare as children and the chance for a safe, comfortable, prosperous life. Switzerland, Australia and Norway were the top three. The United States came in at 16th, largely because “babies will inherit the large debts of the boomer generation.”
Dead last: Nigeria. “It is the worst place for a baby to enter the world in 2013,” the report said.

Even with all that wealth, only just over half the population has access to clean drinking water, and one-third to a toilet, UNICEF says. Two-thirds live below the poverty line. Only one child in four who contracts pneumonia is given antibiotics, and only about half the population is literate.

The CIA also cites endemic “soil degradation; rapid deforestation; urban air and water pollution.” All this in a county whose gross domestic product stands at $236 billion a year, in the same league as Denmark, Chile, Israel and the United Arab Emirates — prosperous, successful states to be envied.

Goodluck Jonathan is certainly aware of all of this. After all, taking the oath of office, he swore to “devote myself to the service and well-being of the people of Nigeria. So help me God.”

Well, just last week he demonstrated who he really is and what he stands for when he pardoned a former state governor who’d been convicted of embezzling state funds and laundering the money. That pardon triggered a broad, angry uproar.

Good luck, Mr. Jonathan. It’s time you were impeached.

17-Year-Old Delivers Baby on SAA Flight

Sources reported about the birth of a baby on the flight that boarded from Johannesburg for New York on Saturday. The baby was born in the South African Airways flight 203 when the 17-year-old mother went into her labor for four hours into the 16-hours long journey.
The newborn is named as Mamel Joella. The birth of the baby took place about 38,000 feet in the air over West Africa. The child will not be considered as a US citizen as he was born outside the airspace of America.

Reports suggested that the mother was immediately escorted to the front of the plane followed by a medical emergency announcement by the pilot, calling the doctors available on board. The mother and her baby were aided by an anesthesiologist Dr. Julie Williamson, 41. She was assisted by another doctor and nurse on the flight.
The doctor marked the experience as breathtaking. She reported that the baby was delivered in two pushes. The doctor was returning back from a week-long medical conference in South Africa. The doctor had last delivered a baby in medical school 15 years ago.
She said the baby is "vigorous and healthy." The mother, Kaba, and her son Mamel were stated to be doing well after the birth that they were allowed to get back to their seats.

Below is what a new study is claiming. When you have a headache, leave all dem pain relief medicine alone and just turn to your partner for some good loving.

If you're suffering from a headache, retiring to bed may be the best solution.

Sex can cure head pain, according to scientists – and venturing between the sheets may even be more effective than heading to the medicine cabinet.

More than half of migraine sufferers who had sex during an attack experienced an improvement in symptoms, the researchers found, and one in five was left without any pain at all.

One theory is that sex works by triggering the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers, which act on the central nervous system to reduce or eliminate the headache.

‘Our results show that sexual activity during a migraine attack might relieve or even stop an attack in some cases, and that sexual activity in the presence of headache is not an unusual behaviour,’ the researchers said.

‘Sex can abort migraine and cluster headache attacks, and sexual activity is used by some patients as acute headache treatment.’

It has long been thought that sex can trigger headaches.

But in the new study, reported in Cephalalgia, the journal of the International Headache Society, a team of neurologists investigated whether there was any substance to anecdotal accounts that it could actually ease symptoms of migraine and cluster, or one-sided, headaches.

In the study at the University of Munster in Germany, neurologists collected data on 400 patients with the two types of headache who had been treated over a two-year period.

They found that 33 per cent had made love during a headache. Of those, 60 per cent of migraine patients and 36 per cent of men and women with cluster headaches had an improvement in symptoms.

Men were more likely to benefit than women, with 36 per cent using sexual activity as a therapy for dealing with their headache.

Meanwhile, 13 per cent of women used sex to combat a headache. Of the migraine patients who saw an improvement in their pain, 19 per cent had complete relief of headache symptoms, 51 per cent experienced moderate relief and 29 per cent reported mild relief.

‘In total, 42.7 per cent of all migraine patients experienced at least 50 per cent relief, a response rate as high as in studies on acute medication,’ said the researchers.
Consultant neurologist Dr Nick Silver, of the NHS Walton Centre for Neuroscience and Neurosurgery in Liverpool, said: ‘This is a preliminary study, limiting conclusions that can be reached.

‘We can now say, however, that the excuse of “not tonight, I have a headache” may not be taken seriously by all sexual partners.’
Researchers say there are a number of possible explanations for the findings, including the release of painkilling endorphins during sex and changes in blood pressure that occur.

Scans have also shown that the hypothalamus region of the brain is active during a cluster headache, and the same area shows activity during orgasm.

8 year old schoolboy marries 61 year old woman in South Africa

And Joan Rivers has something to say about it. Lol. An 8 year old schoolboy, Sanele Masilela, married 61 year-old married mother of five, Helen Shabangu, over the weekend, because the ghost of his dead ancestor told him to and his family, fearing divine retribution, organized a quick wedding.

Defending the wedding, Sanele's family said it's not legally binding, it was just a ritual. They didn't sign a marriage certificate and won't live together. Sanele's 46yr old mum, Patience Masilela said:

'This is the first time this has happened in the family. Sanele is named after his grandfather, who never had a white wedding before he died so asked Sanele to get married. He chose Helen because he loves her. By doing this we made the ancestors happy. If we hadn't done what my son had asked then something bad would have happened in the family. I didn't have a problem with it because I know it's what the ancestors wanted and it would make them happy.

Strange Affair: Meet the Husband, Wife and Lover Living Under the SAME Roof

When mum-of-two Maria Butzki left her husband Paul for another man, she didn’t realise how much she’d miss him. At the same time, she couldn’t imagine living without her new lover Peter Gruman.

So when the two men struck up an extraordinary friendship, she came up with the perfect solution... and moved Peter into the family home in Barking, East London.

Now Maria, 33, Paul, 37, their two children, Laura, 16, and Amy, 12, and Peter, 36, live as one big happy family.

“People might think it’s weird but I love both men and couldn’t choose between them,” says Maria, a housing liaison officer.

“When I left Paul there was a huge hole in my life. But the thought of never seeing Peter again was heartbreaking. So living with both men is the only way.”
Incredibly, the men agree. Paul, a railway assessor, says: “Peter is a great guy. When Maria first had the affair with him I was just heartbroken. But as I got to know him, I realised we have so much in common. We both adore fishing, and he’s like a surrogate dad to the kids.”

Peter, a construction site manager, adds: “We all get on so well. It doesn’t feel as if I’m sharing Maria. There’s no jealousy ...it feels as if we area team.”

It was last year that they all moved in together after three years of Maria to-ing and fro-ing between her husband and lover.

Peter sleeps on the sofa while Paul has a room upstairs. Maria shares a bedroom with her eldest daughter.

She says: “The three of us never share a bed. Although I have a sexual relationship with each man, that side is kept very private. If Paul is out, then Peter and I might make love, and vice-versa. But both men turn a blind eye and we never discuss it with one another.”

Maria was 15 when she and Paul met at school. After dating for two years, she unexpectedly became pregnant. Paul proposed seven months into her term and a month later they married. Four years after the birth of Laura, Maria had their second daughter Amy. But in 2006 their marriage hit a rocky patch.
Maria says: “Paul was out of work for six months and it put a strain on our relationship. The stress led to less sex and we grew apart. Although we carried on with life – cooking, cleaning, looking after the children – we’d lost our intimacy. The relationship was more brother and sister than a couple.”

Around the same time a new manager, Peter, started at Maria’s workplace.

“Someone introduced me to Peter and when we smiled at one another, I could feel the chemistry straight away,” she says. “Until that moment, I’d been happily married for 13 years to my childhood sweetheart and had never thought about being with another man.”

Peter, who was also married at the time, recalls the same instant attraction. “It was like a bolt from the blue... love at first sight,” he says.

Soon the pair were meeting secretly. “We’d meet at the local pub for lunch,” says Maria. “One day he put a hand on my leg and my whole body began trembling with desire. I knew it was wrong but soon we were sleeping together.”

Their affair carried on for a year before Paul stumbled on messages between them on Maria’s phone. She managed to convince him they were just friends. But a few months later her lover left his wife and moved from Luton, Beds, to be closer to Maria in Barking.

“I grew even closer to Peter,” says Maria. “Paul had to go away on business for a few weeks and so Peter took the children shopping, spoiling them rotten with gifts.”

But on Valentine’s Day in 2010, Maria says she could no longer cope with the secrecy. “I began to feel more and more that my future lay with Peter,” she says. “So I confessed my affair to Paul, and moved out to stay with Peter.”

Paul and the children were devastated. He says: “I was just shocked and heartbroken. I couldn’t believe Maria had left me.”

Over the next few months Paul and Maria took turns to have the children. “I felt bad about tearing the family apart,” says Maria. “So after work I’d go and clean and cook for Paul and the kids and then go home to Peter.”

Paul says: “While I was so upset, I decided to try to put the children first. It was going to be much better if we could all be mature adults and be amicable about it. I could see Peter was a decent guy. When the kids went to stay over I knew he was putting himself out to make sure they were happy. I’d go to pick them up and we got chatting.”

Over the next year their relationship became even more amicable. Maria says: “Rather than cook two separate dinners, it was easier to just do one and all sit down together. Paul and Peter got on so well they went on a fishing trip together. We even started going on days out and holidays together.
“It was strange but I noticed I felt at my happiest when we were all together. The children adored having both of them around too.”

Then in November 2012 the tenancy on Peter’s rented flat came to an end. He went to stay with a friend and Maria moved back to the family home. Maria says: “It was supposed to be a temporary arrangement but while I missed Peter terribly, it was fantastic to be back as a family.”

When Peter found another flat, Maria decided it was time to sit both men down and be honest with them. “I said I loved them both,” she says. “I said I couldn’t face living without either of them.”

To her delight, both men said they understood.

Peter says: “By now Paul and I had developed a huge respect for each other. We didn’t see one another as rivals for Maria’s affections. We were friends who got on well. At the same time I’d come to care so much for the children. It seemed natural to live together.”

Paul says: “Maria was and still is my soulmate.”

The “family” are now in the process of buying a larger house to accommodate them all.

Maria admits many friends and family find the arrangement difficult to understand.

“Some people are shocked, mostly because they get the wrong idea and think it’s some sort of threesome,” she says. “Most people seem to think I should just remain with Paul, but those who see all of us together think differently.” She adds: “There are huge benefits to living together. For example, as Paul and I leave for work early, Peter is often able to take the children to school.

“Ultimately the children benefit from three adults able to help with school work or give them lifts. Financially too, it makes sense as the bills are split three ways.”

Ironically, Maria is now the one who sometimes gets jealous. “I’m left on my own when the pair of them go on a long fishing trip,” she says.

She’s unsure what the sleeping arrangements will be in their new house. “But we would never have any sort of rota where I sleep with Peter one night and Paul the next. I do know I’m very lucky to have two wonderful men in my life.”

Beyonce has been criticised by animal rights activists for sporting an outfit made from python and iguana at her half-time Super Bowl show on Sunday (03Feb13).

The Crazy in Love hitmaker took to the stage at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana in a black bodysuit by designer Rubin Singer, made of python skin, panelled iguana, and leather.

Now bosses at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) have slammed Beyonce's costume choice, just weeks after she was criticised for wearing a mink coat at U.S. President Barack Obama's Inauguration Ceremony last month (Jan13).

A Peta spokesperson tells the New York Daily News, "We would take a bet that if Beyonce watched our video exposes, she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully. Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, andBeyonce's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score."

Earlier this morning rapper Rick Ross crashed his Rolls Royce into an apartment building to avoid being sprayed in a drive by.

Around 5am, Rick and a female companion were leaving a party on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale when a car pulled up along side Rick's dark colored Rolls and opened fire.

Rick swerved to avoid being hit and crashed into a building. Both Rick and his companion escaped unhurt.

Lagos State To Commence Cable Car Transit In 2015

A cable car company, Ropeways Transport Limited, is set to make a name for itself in the history of Nigeria by launching a cable car mass urban transit system in the nation’s commercial capital, Lagos.

This followed the signing of a 30-year franchise agreement between Ropeways Transport Limited, the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) and the Lagos State government recently.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ropeways Transport will this November begin the construction of towers, stations and connecting network cables along various routes covered in the first phase of the project, namely, Ijora – Iddo, Iddo – Adeniji; Apapa – Oluwole, Oluwole – Adeniji, Adeniji – Obalende, Obalende – Falomo, and Falomo – Victoria Island. The project is expected to be fully completed and commissioned by early 2015.
The Lagos cable car transit system would provide an alternative means of mass transportation in the city and it will help ease the current transportation hassles in Lagos
