Alpha begins Tuesday

The first session of the Alpha Course is this Tuesday (Sept. 7) starting at 7:00 pm.

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed manner, over twelve thought-provoking weekly sessions. It is low key, friendly and fun. Free dinner and childcare too!

Labor Day Picnic in the Park

Come to the park after church on Sunday, September 5, for some food fellowship and fun. Feel free to bring friends, family, neighbors etc.

When:
Sunday, September 5
12:30 pm, right after church

Where:
Grant Park, Pasadena
Parking is available on Chester, Michigan, Blanche and Cordova.

What:
Potluck meal and games at the park.

VCF will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers on request and all the fixings to go with them, plus the plates, cups and utensils.

What to bring:
If your last name starts with the following letters:

A-E bring salad or side dish
F-L bring dessert, fruit or vegetables
M-Z bring drinks or ice

Also feel free to bring other snacks to share as well.

Vacation Bible School

We are pleased to announce that VCF is organizing a Vacation Bible School for children from ages pre-school through 5th grade.

August 16-20
10:00 am to noon each day

Benefit Concert

You are cordially invited to a Benefit Concert featuring Ben Thomason, violin.

Friday and Saturday
July 16 and 17, 2010
7:30pm in Stalder Chapel

All proceeds of the concert will go towards Ben and Erin’s trip to China later this summer. We invite you to come hear about their trip and enjoy some inspired classical music. Suggested donation is $15, but no amount is too large or small. Visit their website for more information about the trip.
