Location : Bulatan Pahang - "Perjalanan ke Pantai Timur".

Bukan nak gunakan hal ini untuk jual diri, betul tribute buat abroko dan juga dah jadi seolah tradisi dalam seni jalanan menghargai yg dah takde dengan mural di jalan.... semua orang ada cara masing2. Tapi part of tradisi tu juga adalah, tak perlu nak heboh sapa yg buat..... seperkara sebab ia tak penting langsung untuk bercakap tentang itu.... sebab ianya mural tribute, bukan sebarang work..... malah bukan artwork.... ia tribute... dan seperkara lagi kerana kau boleh 'bunuh' orang yg buat dengan hebohkan identitinya.... yg mana ianya lebih sedih daripada benar2 mati. Ini antara perkara kenapa ramai yg aku kenal rasa fuck-up tgk video "Exit Through The Gift Shop".... sebab sehingga ke hujung video, mereka ni tak dapat tengok siapa Banksy. Begitu ramai yg aku kenal yg expect dan bawa pulang harapan untuk lihat siapa Banksy.... begitu sayang mereka ini pada Banksy, sampai nak bunuh dia supaya boleh di ambil "bangkai"nya untuk di gantung menghiasi dinding rumah.

Mr. Drain Wash came up with some new stencils, location unknown. Received these photos at around 2.30am. I am really stunned by their(as not knowing if it is a she or he or a group) work. The skaters look awesomely scary with that look on his face and the "pocong" reminded me of the ghost stencil i did long time ago when "The Club" is still around.
Enjoy Mr. Drain Wash work and perhaps at least to me, this is a local version of "life is beautiful" :)

I revisited this place again yesterday, started repainting on around 11pm - 31st December.... i had it finished on 1st January 2011 - around 12 something...... it took less that one day if you know the math...
Yeah boring.... this face again, no new work from me and i keep repeating the same thing.... the same image.... so maybe it is about repetition... maybe it is about this image that i want it to really stuck in your head with whatever interpretation you have, i dont want to limit that brain of yours. Some people think its a beautiful idea this guy bring thru this image, perhaps most of it came from the movie.... bout how people should not be afraid of the government, the government should be afraid of the people.... and perhaps some goes deeper comparing this to the idea of building as a symbols, given power by the people.... alone the symbols is meaningless, but with enough people painting on the building.... it really could change the world..... and that people need more than a building, they need hope .....and art....... perhaps the most memorable of them all is that behind the mask, there is more than flesh..... there is an idea.... and idea are bulletproof..... so the thought and more self interpretation goes on and on in all of you..... which is always fine with me..... i love it that way as im not really an idealist but still i love the idea.

Coz to be honest..... i do it first hand out of fun of turning v for vendetta to v for vandalism.... cos that is what i do(or so they say that street art is vandalism)... although i do love the idea of the whole guy fawkes thing trying to bomb a building - Parliament (the act of painting/graffiti on the street also known as bombing).
from all those memorable quote and thought that came to you looking at this repetitive image..... one thing i love about it which not so many people thought about much..... You wear mask for so long, you forget who you were beneath it.

*this could be the first sign of this year..... hint..... V day - 14th February

Got smses asking me why i didnt show up on the 'well organized' graff jam, Sunday 5th, down the Sungai Kelang.... never knew i was that important.... wonder the mayor receive the same sms or not.
but if i was around, i might be there, at least be watching from far.... but then on that day i was tagging somewhere else.
This guy were the first person who i trusted to record me doing my stuff on the street. If you watched sickmyduck II some of the clips came from him. Sorry for the damage i done to the sign my friend!

and it was launch by the Mayor.
Its great to see lots of graffiti writer and some street artist, i was like "oh, it was him/her/them who do that", kinda like profiling them by knowing who they are and what they are painting on the river bank.... im sure the City Council did the same... put this kids in their profile.... "we'll be watching you kids"!

Still i enjoy the day... with a friend, our bikes, pack of cigarette, meeting some old friends from far as they busy painting(plus the stupid noise of some rnb song play on the event) and of coz the rain and the lack of beer <---regret this the most.

Seeing these writer painting and the people of city council and the police were watching.... its like watching Darth Vader and Yoda walk hand in hand in Star wars, its weird.
Im not really positive with the event organize by National Art Gallery and Kuala Lumpur City Council, but in support of public art (its on public space).... well done to those who take part... also well done to those who made profit out of it.... ;)

i remember calling this kid a spoiled as he keeps sending me messages via email and facebook asking for template of my stencil, which there is none as it was a stencil that i drew freehand. i told him just download the photo of the stencil, adjust its contrast and... wallah....it yours.... i dunno if he finally work it out, but at the end of the day, he came out with this one.
not a fan of KFC anyway.

Hope to see more from this kid soon.

All work located at Lumut Perak, a reaction from Bubuk, one fine stencils artist, of the powerplant TNB built in Manjung Perak. To generate the powerplant they use coal.

By our local Malaysian street artist who remained pretty much unknown even to me, but yet had lots of his own street art exhibition(langgarlari/hitandrun) either on public spaces or in an abandoned building that have people been asking who is Bubuk.... from stencils to boxes installation up to old pillow... Bubuk paint on anything perhaps also on canvas?

And here are some photos of Bubuk's work send in to me, i wish i didnt missed the one where the boxes were installed at Central Market Station.... damn that is cool. And now i know why some people thought that Bubuk is me..... come on people.... anyone can stencils a 'rat'

Seen all over KL. So far, you can easily bump to this around Bukit Bintang... but i seen it expanding its dark side to more broader area.....KL that known to fill its night with neon lights will be taken over by this new force......the dark side....we are doom.
