A digital camera is the best way to share and save special memorizes of your vacation.

Why I like this digital camera for travel:

It uses rechargeable AA batteries.
The camera has a view finder which is very helpful when you are outside with the sun behind you.
Technology is very advanced. Does a great job finding faces and managing focus
There's Tripod mount and Optical Image Stabilizer Technology that automatically detects and corrects camera shake
And I think the best price on the market for the technology and 16 megapixels.
It's easy moving the photos to the computer.
The small size makes it easy to use at a dinner table, carry around all day, on a hike or what ever.

So far I am really amazed at some of the comments I've received on Flickr. I've taken several fam trips now with a Canon PowerShot taking over 300 pictures (with lots of flash) without any problems. I did buy some accessories:

A simple battery recharger and an aa batteries, 4 total so I have a set of backups
A case that holds an extra set of batteries and memory cards
8 gb card and 3 - 2 gb cards of memory
