Cleaned Up Valenity

Apparently my site was hacked. Deleted most of it, removed Wordpress, and used RSS feeds from my journals. Nice way to keep track of all my content :)

Still have to finish uploading caps to PixelCaps.

comments

And the Problems Persist

Still issues with the PC. Dammit. I suppose I'll have to back up my hard drive and reload Windows in case it's a corrupted driver.

If that doesn't fix the display issues, then I'm S.O.L.

comments

Project Accessory Finale

Spoilers:
( Cut for Spoilers )

I want my Project Runway back. At least when it sucks, it does so in an entertaining way.

comments

Apparently, upgrade does not mean what I thought it did.

Skyrim blows up my graphics card and the resulting BSOD crashes blow my one of my RAM chips. I first replace the RAM because, like an idiot, I figured when I pull the chip and there's no issues... that must be the problem! But I still get BSOD playing my games afterwards. Must be the video card, then. So I replace the graphics card, and so far, everything is working.

But, lo and behold, I learn my old Radeon HD 5770 performs better than the 6750 I got to replace it. ATI/AMD/Whatever just tossed the same old working into a new package, and slapped a higher number on it.

Moral of the story being: Don't listen to the store employee when he tells you something is 'comparable' to the model you want, but isn't in stock. *sigh*

comments
