Valencia CF after series of draws welcomed the Sporting Gijon in Mestalla. Unai Emery gave a rest to Banega, Jonas, Diego Alves and Victor Ruiz. Aritz Aduriz for the whole 45 minutes got several opportunities to score while wasted all. Aduriz missed the brilliant chance at the end of first half. After his slight tricky touch the ball passed the goalie but the goal line. However, Jeremy Mathieu in a counter attack gave a great pass to Feghouli and the second's fantastic shoot was one of the best goals of the season. Guaita except one occasion was not really stretched but the VCF's goalkeeper's save was wonderful.

In the second half VCF was dominating again. Tino Costa's spectacular long shot was met by the goalkeeper in the same level of save and Aduriz again wasted the chance though was in a right place on right time. Los Ché was able to double the lead in a persistent attack. Thus, after Feghouli´s shot the ball touched the defender and passed the goal line, 2-0. Unai Emery let Juan Bernat, Jonas and Piatti to play too. During the additional minutes Adil Rami's cross found Jonas in penalty area and his header tripled the score. Jonas' was not cooled down and his tidy shoot determined the score of the night, 4-0. Thus, Valencia CF got its first la liga victory in 2012.

Not our day... Amunt VCF

The second leg match in semi-finals of Copa del Rey took place in Nou Camp. Barcelona "welcomed" Valencia CF, neighbors in la liga and in physical map too. The first match held an advantage for the home side and thus they have played more comfortably.

It would be a big mistake to blame Feghouli in yesterday's failure but in fact his red card changed the picture of the match in opposite direction. The first half ended with one mistake - which means with one goal automatically. Diego Alves' as in first semi final match and as in all previous matches made a mistake in timing in quitting the goal line, 1-0. Since the first minute of the second half VCF was pushing the home side to make a mistake, to do something wrong, even the destiny. But unreasonable fault by Feghouli left his mates on Nou Camp pitch in a very bad situation thus Xavi doubled the lead. Copa del Rey again ran away from us and the next trophy... But we were so close... Amunt!!!

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Valencia CF

Valencia CF visited the Vicente Calderon stadium to play against Atletico Madrid. Unai Emery's starting eleven was neither experimental nor the strongest and the captaincy was assigned to Albelda who have missed the Racing match because of the red card. Also, Pablo Hernandez recovered from his injury was on the pitch since the first whistle. The first goal occasion came by the home side. Lopez's header was denied by Diego Alves. After Pablo Piatti's powerful shot Courtois punched the ball to the corner. Nothing interesting happened then and the first half ended, 0-0.

Until the mid-second half both sides were passive. However, Falcao's run from the right wing and pass within the penalty area was denied by Adil Rami. The additional shoot by Falcao was also met by Rami this time his both feet saved the VCF from goal. Until the final whistle Diego Alves made at least three crucial saves and thus match ended as a draw.

Valencia CF 1-1 Referees and Barça

The first leg match of semifinals of Copa del Rey took place in the Mestalla stadium which was totally full by spectators. The choreography by fans that was like a big puzzle showing "Jo Crec" which means "I believe" the slogan for winning the Spanish cup in this season.

The home side started to the match very actively and soon attacking players were placed around penalty area of Barcelona. The visitors were resisting though. The peak moment of the match came after Albelda's pass to Soldado on the right wing. The striker was running to goal when Pinto's hand out of penalty denied his effort to pass the goalkeeper behind.

The red card for the goalie was not shown, however, it was right in front of the linesman. Thus, the next time referee's decision saved the Barça's ass. Mathieu's cross from the left wing and pass back to Jonas made Mestalla to stop breathing for few seconds. The Brazilian striker's amazing shoot was tidy, 1-0. After nine minutes Puyol equalized the score in which Diego Alves' the only mistake for the whole match was crucial. In the second half sides' efforts were useless and the match ended as a draw. Unai Emery still does not have a victory over Barcelona surely with the help of referees. All crucial referee mistakes were in Mestalla interestingly...

JinKO Solar is the sponsor of Valencia

The Chinese renewable energy company is the new sponsor of VCF. Their logo is going to be until the end of the season. Note that the club was looking for sponsor since the end of the last season. During the last three seasons Unibet was placed on the shirts of players.

The company have made €1.4 million commitment. The two sides are considering a longer cooperation. It is also related to the name of the new stadium to secure the completion of the construction. However, about a month "Champions for Africa" campaign logo was seen on kits of Valencia CF. Before the campain VCFShop and twitter account of Valencia CF - @valenciacf words were written on the kits.

Valencia CF's last visit to Santander ended as a draw, 1-1. In the match that was played one year ago Tino Costa saved the night. This time Unai Emery's starting eleven was not filled with the players of the bench and all Emery haters found nothing to blame the Basque coach. The match was becoming very boring after the early goal of the home side. In the first half Diego Alves several times made crucial saves. Emery let Aduriz to play too and the substitution was very effective. Firstly, Aduriz realized the goal after a corner kick. However, the second goal was the result of a counter attack. The lack of ability to keep the favorable score has shown itself in this match too. Racing equalized the score, 2-2. Another 2 points were wasted.

Piatti night in Copa del Rey

The second leg match of the last quarter final match in the Spanish cup was played in Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. The city rivals from Valencia have played a formal match that was solved a week ago. Unai Emery decided to give chance to the players of the bench. Bernat, Parejo, Aduriz, Ricardo Costa and Barragan were in the starting eleven.

Pablo Piatti was starring in yesterday's "play". In the first goal of the night he reached the ball that was sent by a long pass and passed the ball back to Aduriz. The second did not lose the chance, 0-1. The second goal came soon. After Juan Bernat's pass Pablo Piatti's touch was tidy and neat, 0-2. August match in January ended as a draw

The first match of la liga that has been postponed due to the strikes in Spain took place on 4th Sunday of January in Reyno de Navarra. Valencia CF's last visit to this stadium was a loss, 1-0. Recent years VCF could win only once in this stadium (3-0), however, this stadium is a real problem for Los Ché.

The first half was not really interesting while the visitors were dominating in ball possession and the goalkeepers were not even stretched. In the second half Diego Alves made at least 4 crucial saves. In all goal occasions Osasuna players were demanding penalty kick. Closer to the end Roberto Soldado scored the first goal of the match with a nice header. During the additional minutes David Albelda got red card thus the free kick by Osasuna led to goal, 1-1. VCF is still having problems in keeping the favorable results. In addition, since the first day of 2012 in la liga matches we were not able to take three points. There are many elements in the team to fix until Europa League match if we want to go as further as possible.

VCF wins the derby in Copa del Rey

The first leg of the Valenciano derby in 1/4 finals of the Spanish domestic cup was held in Mestalla. Levante UD's visit was like a nightmare for them. Since the very beginning of the first half the home side started to attack, thus corner kicks and shoots were replacing one another. The first goal came by Jonas. The Brazilian striker played tidily within penalty area and opened the goal show. Roberto Soldado was in a right place in a right time to double the lead, 2-0.

Kone's goal gave a cold shower effect in the Mestalla stadium and Levante gained an incredible advantage for the second leg match. Valencia CF immediately started to pour a number of players into attack and during the final minutes of the first half Pablo Piatti scored the third goal. This goal was the first official goal of the Argentine player as a VCF player. The second half was as interesting as the first one but the number of the unrealized goal efforts were more remembered. However, just before the final whistle of the match Tino Costa scored the 4th goal of Valencia. Thus, Valencia CF is very close to pass to semifinals. A week is needed to wait for the result of the city rivals duel.

Ever Banega is in VCF until 2015

The Argentine midfielder has renewed his contract with Valencia CF and according to the contract he will stay in the club until 2015. The previous contract was supposed to expire in 2013.

About 2 years ago there were rumors that Ever Banega would move to Internazionale and this year CSKA Moscow has shown its interest to the 24 year old player. As a result the board has extended the contract with Banega. The player is showing a great performance recently though he had an injury, recovered and got his form back.

Valencia CF 0-1 Real Sociedad

Valencia CF could not win its second la liga match in 2012 too. Though the rival was not a very competitive one. In addition Unai Emery unexpectedly decided to give chance to subs thus the result was not going to be favorable. However, VCF players showed a little desire at the beginning which gave hope to spectators. But that light was lost in absence of a good performance and smart actions. It was followed by a shameful moments during the match. In some moments players could not understand each other clearly. Once Tino Costa's protest against coach's decision came to the screens. It was not the end and some other moments were a good reason for fake fans to whistle and blame the team. So, Valencia CF is still in third place while widening the gap with Real and Barcelona.

Valencia lost to Sevilla but passed to 1/4 finals

Valencia CF's next visit to Andalusia was quite similar to the previous ones where victory was not reached and not a good performance was shown. During the first half an hour Diego Alves made 4 crucial saves. Suddenly, VCF woke up. Jonas and Soldado stretched the goalkeeper from long distance but Diego Varas denied, very hardly though.

In the second half Valencia CF players were having an easy walk on the pitch for some reason and not really willing to attack intensively. But Jonas' wonderful pass to Soldado and a great run by the second cut the breathes in the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium. The number 9 did not miss the chance. Sevilla equalized the score very soon. However, they needed to score twice more to pass to quarter finals. They were not even able for it. But Victor Ruiz's chest was in a wrong place in a wrong time and the score was 2-1 as a result of own goal. It was too late for Sevilla to do anything more. Thus, Valencia CF reached 1/4 finals where they will play with city rivals Levante UD.

Villarreal 2-2 Valencia CF

It was a real pain to see Valencia CF's performance on the El Madrigal's pitch. Against Villarreal our players were almost lost. Individual and team performance were not on the level that VCF has and deserves. Unai Emery's starting eleven was not weak and he was not saving any players for Sevilla match on Wednesday. Two early goals by the home side did not spoil all what we have.

After Soldado and Miguel's one touch header passing the second sent the ball directly to the penalty area and Feghouli in the same class scored the first goal of VCF. The first half ended with one goal difference and in the second half the sides were changing roles in attack. Villarreal players showed an outstanding commitment and did not look like a team that was on 18th position. Unai Emery's three changes indeed helped to save the night. Especially, Aritz Aduriz's presence took us to the equalizing goal just because of his persistence, 2-2. There are seriously a lot of decisions that the management should revise at the end of season.

Valencia CF 1-0 Sevilla FC

The first match of new year required Sevilla to visit the Mestalla stadium and play against Valencia CF. First shoot came by Negredo, dangerous but wide. Afterwards, Jonas, Banega and Jordi Alba answered the Sevilla. After a corner kick a misunderstanding by Sevilla defenders caused Matheiu to grab the ball and give a pass to Jonas. A wonderful ball control within the penalty area and a neat sending by the Brazilian international made Mestalla cheer the first goal of the night. During the first half the referee twice forgave Sevilla players and did not send them off. Spahic's "second hand" and Medel's fault against Soldado while preventing the counter attack was not ended with a red card.

In the beginning of the second half Palop made three crucial saves for the visitors. In mid-second half Sevilla started to play more actively and once they hit the cross-bar. However, VCF recovered soon and had several goal occasions. Sevilla was able to slow down the speed of the match with faults. Closer to the end ball Valencia CF players looked tired. Nothing has changed until the final whistle and VCF won the first leg of 1/8 finals, deserved a better victory though.

Guardado is Valencia CF player

According to the Superdeporte newspaper Andres Guardado the former Deportivo la Coruña player joins Valencia CF. The player himself is a free agent now as his contract terminated already. Although, VCF's first two rivals in 2012 - Sevilla and Villarreal were trying to transfer the 26 year old player, it is said that Guardado is VCF player. The captain of Valencia CF is optimist about the year 2012 and thinks it is going to be better than the previous one. During his interview to Superdeporte newspaper he has been asked about different things. "It does not matter you are 25 or 40 years old. I like always moving forward. I am not a person who is making wishes when the year ends. No, in football if you want to have a better things then you need to work too much." says Albelda.

Closing the year with 4-0 victory or Goodbye 2011

Like the previous years 2011 also started with a victory. The year has its own ups and downs. Without writing a bull shit here I directly start to mention my main points. Our la liga position was the same - third in the second half of the previous season and in the current one. Twice in this year we have failed in the Champions League, Schalke and Chelsea were the barriers that we could not overcome. The Spanish Cup was not the dream tournament of VCF and neither is now. However, this triumph is the last title that we could get in last 8 years.

A very positive moment for Valencia CF fans is that our club is leaving one more difficult year behind considering the current financial situation of the club, while we did not lose the "face" of our Los Ché. New lights are visible at the end of the tunnel too. Surely, Nou Mestalla completion news is one of the best ones that VCF fans were waiting for. Although we have lost almost half of the starting players on the pitch we are still having realistic hopes toward one of three titles that we are playing in.

Before the season I have emphasized and wrote that to fuck up all expectations we have to get a title. We are still in a capacity of getting one of them. The desire and the fairness that we keep in whatever we do will take us to this fucking title. None of the current fans are fanning to Valencia CF for titles. Obviously, we do not have any cup in recent years. We have to get it this time... is engouh! But there is one thing that is constant for years and years. Whatever You do Valencia... We have only one word to say... Amunt Valencia!!!

Valencia CF 2-0 Málaga CF

The 17th matchday of la liga required Málaga to visit the port city and play against Valencia CF in Mestalla. Isco and Joaquin Sanchez for the first time came to Mestalla as rivals. Joaquin has left the club in peace while Isco has left VCFin the first option of course for money. This is why he was whistled in every touch to the ball. Even when he was substituted in the second half. Miguel and Ever Banega after long time were in starting eleven. Banega was fighting for every inch while Miguel was in his arrogant style but showing a big desire to play.

The goal machine showed an experience. Apart all Valencia players were showing a great commitment. Several times Málaga wanted to stretch Diego Alves but the Brazilian goalie was in a right place in each try. The second half started with the attacks of Los Ché. Jordi Alba has fooled Demichelis in left wing and his sharp cross found Roberto Soldado in penalty area. A spectacular shoot and 2-0. After doubling the VCF had a lot of real goal occasions to triple it. No more goal was scored in the match and Valencia got its next three points.

Emery: "Stoke has a very English style"

The VCF coach Unai Emery has shared his opinion about the result of the draw in Europa League. The Basque coach considers Stoke City as a tough rival.

Valencia faces Stoke in Europa League

After the draw held on Friday the first rival of Valencia CF in Europa League was known. The Stoke City that has arrived the 1/16 finals of the tournament as the second of its group stage will receive Los Ché in England on 16 February 2012. The second leg match will be played on 23 February in Mestalla.

In case of a success in 1/16 finals Valencia CF will play with the winner of the Trabzonspor and PSV Eindhoven duo. The 1/8 matches will be played on 8 and 15 March dates.

The first half was not interesting when even the goalkeepers were not really stretched. Piatti and Aduirz were a little active but it has lead to nothing at all. The second half started with activeness of both sides especially Cadiz was showing a bigger desire to score. However, the efforts were useless. Soldado, Jeremy Mathieu and Ever Banega came on the pitch too while it did not result with a change in score table. It seems the team did n has not quit the Champions' failure yet.

Agreed to complete Nou Mestalla

Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Bankia to finish the work in the new stadium with secure funding. According to the agreement the construction will be finished in two years. Also, the club ensures a medium-term financing at market conditions.

VCF loses again with a horrible match

WTF happened on Saturday night... What did not happen actually? Unai Emery's mistakes plus players' laziness and inability to show at least half-qualified performance on the pitch broke all fans' hopes about recovering from Champions. As a number one fan of Unai Emery I did not see crucial mistake but neither right decision by him. Yes, he is the very good coach but recent failures increases the number of "Unai haters" which no doubt quickens his potential quit. Again I do consider him the best option for Valencia CF's situation.

The players! OMG they were not able to show a character and lost third time in this season. They do not deserve any good word especially when they lose unearned three points in three minutes! Two losses in a row always affects the team very badly. This fucking decline must be solved soon... I am writing it because feeling bad for my unpredictable team...whatever you do whomever you lose Valencia.... We have one word to say: AMUNT VALENCIA!!!

Still untouched glory

The Champions League is finished too early this time. To be honest we have lost it in Belgium when we have played 0-0 against Genk. Since then nothing went right. Although we won Bayer and Genk (7-0) at Mestalla but the train was gone weeks before. It was less believable to win (or draw) in London but the recent results of VCF in Champions and in the domestic league increased the expectations. The group standings was complicated too and Valencia was not able to pass for the next round for several reasons. Of course there will be different mouths to blame Unai Emery, players, the club management and the luck - which never rests on our side.

By the way management will count the amount of money that we got for double wins, double draws and double loss which accumulates €7.4 million. But no fan is interested in money that club earns. What the reality is - fans are looking titles. Now we have Europa League in front of us. No doubt we have to stay positive because being pessimist will give us nothing. Looking forward to play our Europa L'ge matches. Welcome back Valencia... You lost your last match in this tournament 22 months ago and played four more matches where we did not lose... So, AMUNT VALENCIA!!!
