A kiss before dying? You really want to know? A little bit scary right? But the fact is the final kiss between John Lennon and Yoko Ono (he is naked, she is fully clothed in black) could have well been the one feature on the cover of rolling stone magazine in 1980. It was taken by Annie Leibovitz just hours before Lennon’s murder. Err…rest in peace dude.

I laugh when I read about the funny and unforgettable kissing trivia when this incident happened at Brazil in 1991, when one Djalma dos Santos got more than a standard tongue lashing from his girlfriends when she bit off a chunk of his tongue and SWALLOWED it after she discover he was married! At a loss for words, he wrote a note for police. Roughly translated from the Portuguese, it said he was well and truly kissed off.

So guys, be careful with your girlfriend now, maybe you should prohibited tongue kissing@ French kiss? Hihi

There are 4 C’s in grading diamonds. They are Carat, Color, Clarity and Cut.
Here is a brief description of each:
Carat:

The carat weight of a diamond is usually mistaken for its dimension, not its actual weight. 1 carat equals 0.200 grams. Many expensive diamonds may look small but are cut deep, and therefore have a larger carat weight, than one that is cut shallow.
While the carat weight is an important factor when selecting a diamond, many people will always look for dimension. Here are the approximate dimensions for a few popular sizes:

0.25ct= 4.1mm
0.50ct= 5.2mm
0.75t=5.9mm
1.00ct=6.25mm

Color:

Grading color in the normal range is to determine how close the diamond is to colorlessness. Most diamonds have at least a trace of yellow or brown. With the exception of some natural fancy color, such as blue, purple, pink or red the colorless grade is the most valuable.

If the diamond does not have enough color to be called fancy, then it is graded in scale of colors ranging from Colorless to Light Yellow,”D” through”. A diamond with a “D” color is considered to be colorless. If the color is more intense than “Z”, it’s considered fancy. A fancy yellow diamond fetches a higher price than a light yellow diamond.

The laboratories only grade diamonds which are unmounted or “loose” and they do so under special light. Once a loose diamond is mounted, or “loose, and they do so under special light. Once a loose diamond is mounted on a ring, even the trained professional cannot always tell the different between, as a “D”,”E” or “F” color diamond

Clarity:

The clarity of the diamond refers to how clear, or “clean” the diamond is. The more ‘clean” the diamond is, the higher the price. Most diamonds have ‘imperfections’ in them. The clarity scale is a measure of the severity of those imperfections or ‘inclusions’ it is known in the trade.

FL-Flawless

These stone have no imperfections inside or on the outside of the stone under the magnification of 10 powers.

IF-Internally Flawless

These stone have no inclusions under a loupe with a 10 power magnification.

VVS1, VVS2- Very very slightly imperfect

These stone have very small inclusions which are very difficult to see under a loupe with a 10 power magnification.

VS1, VS2- Very slightly imperfect

These stone have small inclusions which are slightly difficult to difficult to see under a loupe with a 10 power magnification.

S1, S2- Slightly imperfect

These stone have inclusions which are fairly easy to see under a loupe with a 10 power magnification, or visible to the naked eye.

I1, I2, I3- Imperfect

These stone have inclusions which range from eye visible to very easily seen to naked eye.SI3 this is the range between a SI2 and an SI1 grading. It is not recognized by all laboratories, but is becoming more widely accepted.

Cut:

The cut of diamond is the only property in which we have control of. The cut not only refers to the shape of diamond, but its proportions and finish, which determines the sparkle of the diamond.
