Hi Val!!!
How exciting it is to see your mother's photo and song clip! So much talent in one family should be against the law~

I just read your Benefit Concert email and saw that you will be turning fifty this year. Welcome to the club! No worries, you are still beautiful on the inside and out no matter how many birthdays celebrated. ...I bet you can’t wait to receive your welcome message from AARP. Hahaha

WOW! What a voice! I'm making a trip to Portland for this! I used to help you and your husband at "the Limited" in the 80's and was always very fond of the two of you. You were pretty conservative and John liked wild shirts. Congrats to you, so good to HEAR from you again. I've lived in Seattle the last 20 years and have always missed the live music scene in Portland. It was just not the same in Seattle. My brother sent this link to me just out of the blue. He also has moved to the Seattle area and I think we both felt warm, a sense of pride and a little homesick . You brought a joyful tear to my eye. Keep up the good work! Warmly, Patrice Doerr

Still basking in the sunshine of your Astoria show at the Liberty Theatre on Valentines
Eve. AND "I Can't Wait" for the OHSU "Brain Chemistry" Show at the Newmark tomorrow evening. Just now listened to your All Classical interview with Andrea. She did a great job of interweaving your music and talk. I'm so proud to be a part of your lives!
