(Press Release) – February 1, 2009 – Ginger Creek Foundation, a Springfield, Illinois, based nonprofit organization is delighted to announce a seven day charitable fund raising cruise on the Carnival Valor, sponsored by Planet Travel. The cruise begins April 26, 2009 and a portion of the gross revenue generated will be used to further the charitable cause of the foundation.

Carnival Cruise Lines has requested our confirmed guest list by February 15th. If you are planning to cruise in late April - early May, we'd love for you to sail with us. Please reserve by Valentine's Day. We believe you'll be glad you did and you'll always be a Ginger Creek Foundation hero or heroine.

"As an added incentive to encourage interested persons to book this cruise right away, we’re entering each confirmed guest’s name in a drawing for a cabin fee refund," said Stephen Teeple, Ginger Creek Foundation’s Chairman. "The winning guest will receive a check at the welcome aboard cocktail party. Since Carnival only allowed us to book 32 cabins at the reduced rate, the chances of winning are very good. You aren’t likely to find a deal like this anywhere else," Teeple smiled.

"We are so proud of our involvement with the Ginger Creek Foundation cruise," said Don Fuener, Vice President, of Planet Travel Holdings Inc. "We and Carnival Cruise Lines are helping this small nonprofit organization, facing a very challenging economy, raise funds for their cause creatively."

Cruise only fares start at $685.00 per person including all taxes and fees based on double occupancy. Carnival Valor is a Conquest Class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Lines (www.carnival.com). She is the largest Carnival ship based out of the Port of Miami, Florida and has a "Heroes and Heroics" theme. Duty-free shopping, a spa, a casino, and numerous entertainment options are some of her features. She offers seven-day voyages through the Eastern and Western Caribbean .

Join the Ginger Creek Foundation and Planet Travel, April 26, 2009 on the Carnival Valor 7 Night Exotic Western Caribbean Cruise. Proceeds of the cruise will be used to help further the charitable activities of the Ginger Creek Foundation.

Ginger Creek Foundation is a small group of volunteers working to make positive changes in the world. We chose to support air-related research, education, and charities because air is our most important natural resource. Air is all that protects us from outer space. Air is the one true necessity for most creatures great and small on this planet. We are all affected by and connected by the wide-ruling air.

Ginger Creek Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity formed exclusively for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes. Ginger Creek Foundation's purpose is to:

Support non-partisan research, education and informational activities to increase and diffuse public information about issues at the human/atmospheric interface; examples include, but are not limited to, radon, environmental tobacco smoke, indoor asthma triggers, air toxics;

Combat adverse health effects related to issues at the human/ atmospheric interface while promoting conservation of the world's cultural, historical, and natural resources; and

Conduct charitable activities to demonstrate methods for controlling or minimizing issues potentially adverse to human health and safety arising at the human/ atmospheric interface.
