Last year I learned about a company named Beau-coup that specializes in party favors.

From their website: “Beau-coup is a recognized leader in the wedding favor and bridal gifts industry. In recent years, we have also increased our offerings to include baby shower favors, baptism favors, birthday party favors, graduation party favors, anniversary party favors and the list grows and grows. Beau-coup carries all sorts of favors including wedding favors, baby shower favors and themed party decorations and favors. I’ve been thinking about favors quite a bit lately, with my brother planning a fall 2010 wedding and a friend planning a summer 2011 wedding.

If I were planning a fall party I’d love to get the personalized candle favors. How neat it would be to give a small gift that would have others thinking of you every time they lit the candle.

And I love the “falling in love” personalized satin favor bag!

I received a sample of the Dove’s newest member of the Go Fresh family - Burst. The Burst scent is a combination of juicy nectarine and white ginger.

The body wash smells absolutely fantastic! I really liked the fresh and sort of fruity scent, it’s much nicer than those super flowery scents. It lathered nicely and rinsed clean. The beauty bar with hydrating lotion in it also smells like the body wash. The soap cleaned well without drying out my skin. It rinsed easily and left no filmy residue. The deodorant smells almost the same as the body wash. I did feel protected when I used it as I didn’t smell sweaty but I also found that the scent seemed to fade very quickly. Then body mist smells like the others but a little better somehow. I found myself using it almost like perfume. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that it’s scent wore off in about a half hour.

When you think of animal crackers do you think of those little cookies? That’s what I thought of until I had the opportunity to sample some chocolate from Graffiti Zoo. Now all I can think of is yummy chocolates with fun animal names.

Graffiti Zoo’s slogan is “where the animals feed you”. And they do. Every product they make bears the name of an animal. No matter if the name sounds like it might be a real animal or if it’s just a whimsical one, these names are sure to get your attention. If the names don’t get your attention the chocolate surely will because it’s got some really unique flavor combinations.

We received samples of a number of varieties including:

Margarita Manatee - Silky White Chocolate with a Sparkle of Lime

Almond Amaretto Armadillos - Crunchy Milk Chocolate with a Dash of Amaretto

Backstage Calicos - White and Milk Chocolate with a thrilling Orange ending

Bohemian Tree Frogs - The flavor of Wild Raspberries and Toasted Almonds swirled together in White and Milk Chocolate

Chilean Fire Ants - Cinnamon White Chocolate with a Hot Chili Bite

Moroccan Elephants - Smooth Milk Chocolate with the Passion of Orange Zest and Spicy Ginger

Pink Flamingos - The flavors of Washington Cherries and Fresh Coconut

Polar Peppermint Penguins - Dark Chocolate Peppermint

Most of the candy we received were chunks of bark style chocolate. I would have never dreamed of mixing some of these ingredients together but they blend together to create an exquisite and unique taste. Even with the blend of ingredients and textures there was no mistaking the flavor of fine, smooth chocolate.  My favorite was the Polar Peppermint Penguins - it was like Thin Mint cookies turned into candy! RB really enjoyed the unique flavor of the Bohemian Tree Frogs. TJ liked the Chilean Fire Ants because he loves food with a kick.
