EXPECTATION VS REALITY : WHEN YOU START WORK AS AN EMPLOYEE FOR THE FIRST TIME

2016-09-01T23:11:00.001-07:00

‘’ *SIGH … Oh dear God !‘’ , that’s an expression of mine when starting write this article. I don’t know why I suddenly come up with this title to begin with, but then again this could be a sign of my disappointment and I just really like to write this on my blog.

But make no mistake, I’m not saying that I hate my job or ensure your first job is something you’ll be regret. Alright, how should I put this, I’ve graduated from university a year ago after 5 years and the fact that having a first job was GREAT, I tell you that J. Just imagine you can buy stuff that you want with your own money and start living independently.

Yet the truth is it just for temporary, and it’s not my motive to break you on this but I suggest don’t bring too much expectation when you hired as an employee for the first time. In reality all those expectation you seek won’t be as good as anybody would said. Probably you might be end up to some of these situations.

WORK PLACE

Expectation :

(Image : google)

The office where you’ll be working would be as nice, cozy and ‘’instagram-able’’ as google. Have you ever watch “ The Internship ‘’ ? If not, I suggest you watch it. You’ll know it’s like heaven on earth being one of the employee in that company.

Reality :

(Image : google)

Well, hope you’re not Lebron James. Because the only place you’ll be working as first timer employee would be like 60 to 110 sq.ft. area of cubicles per person, brights with fluorescent light and complete with the sound of a dead soul.

THEY WILL PAY YOU A LOT

Expectation :

As you start working at company, an expression of ‘’It’s time to make the big bucks’’ will cover your face followed by a whisper of greed. ‘’ I’m going to be rich. Rich beyond my wildest dreams!’’.

(image : google)

Reality :

Well, after you received your ‘’hard work’’ payment. You’ll be visited by two magicians called ‘’Mr. Bills & Mrs. Tax’’. They will bring some magic trick which make your precious pay cheque disappear faster before you even spend it.

( Image :google)

BLOW EVERYONE AWAY AND GET THAT PROMOTION !

Expectation :

You show up early, put everything that you’ve learned from college, and happen to make a comment about the changing needs for the company that concerned by the CEO. Before you know it, a promotion of becoming the youngest Vice President will soon be yours.

( Image : google )

Reality :

Boi! The moment you step in to your new office, you’ll be asking for ‘’copies work’’. Meaning you’ll eventually doing a lot with the copy machine and people‘s there just walks by your desk and joking about how's the copy machine treatin You. They don’t give a crap about your degree, what matter is you get your work done. Whereas for your Boss, unlikely giving you a promotion, he/she barely know you.

Quick dialog :

You : ‘’ Hi Bos, Just finished what you’re ask for ‘’

Your Boss : ‘’ Good ‘’

You : ‘’ Can I get my promotion yet, just like you promised…Dacades Ago!’’

Your Boss : *Sudden Memory Loss*, ‘’ What promotion? And who the hell are you !? Did you even working here?’’

(Image : google)

YOUR FRIENDS WILL ENVY OF YOUR WORK

Expectation :

When your friends ask about you work, you’ll probably boast the name of your company. Immediately they started to envy you and ask for your advice how exactly you can get that job.

(Image : google)

Reality :

They (your friends) have more interesting and well paid job than you do, which ironic that will makes you sit in the corner of the table, try avoiding that kind of conversation while maintaining your pride.

( Image : google)

HOT ROMANCE

Expectation :

( Image : google )

You’ll meet a hottie with a naughty body and do weird things in the copyroom. #GiggityGiggityGoo

Reality :

(Image : google)

Well, I’m not say it would be impossible. But brace yourself, Lads! common scenarioes would be either they’re 40’s, married or some golddigger sluts! #Ehem

But hey, if you’re a ‘’Quagmire-kind’’ of person, Well …#GiggityGiggityGoo to you!!

HELPFUL AND EXCITED COWORKERS

Expectation :

You finally found some sophisticated yet professional team mates which will help you through the process of your carrer. You’ll be able to learn something from the experts and given enjoyable yet interesting task the moment you walk through the door.

( Image : google)

Reality :

Yeah, good luck noobs! The fact that you’re younger and had no remarkable reputation, you’re just a fresh meat amongs the wolves. Not a mention the drama, the cattiness, the back stabbing. Frankly, it’s more like penitentiary, You just have to keep calm and watch your ‘’back’’.

( Image : google)

So there you have it, the actual things that might be happened the first time you become employee. But just relax, good things and bad things won’t last forever. You probably could end up hitting at bar with your old friends or probably with some random people. Cheers !!

How To Deal With “Haters’’ and ‘’Lovers’’ On Your Media Social?

STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM

2016-08-17T21:44:00.000-07:00

( image : google )

Good Day All, and yes this article have nothing to do with Drake’s Song ‘’Started From The Bottom’’. What I’m going to share is a new beginning, a fresh start after so much time passed by that I’ve forgotten about this blog. So long that it was like a man who need woman’s touch. So in this article I would like to share why I finally decide to begin blogging again. This probably a ‘’mainstream’’ issues which will be felt by any blogger but I’m still going to writing it anyway.

Before I begin, let me have a little sip of coffee and just a drag of cigarette first :) . Alright, let’s begin !

Why I left this blog in the first place before?

Simple, I’m easily bored. To be honest, the reason I started a blog because of money. Yes, well it’s not a new issues for a newbie like me. Whereas I imagined myself could become a millionaire or better, a billionaire just like Linda Ikeji back then. As intermezzo, Linda Ikeji was well known blogger who become billionaire with her massive quantities of blog posting perday. Some article state that she almost post 25 articles within a day just by herself and she done that for 4 years straight. Well I never know her personally, so be my guest if you want to verify this.

With such a false motivation, I drove myself to create this blog and start generated lots of nonsense articles. Why I call it nonsense? Because all articles that I’ve been posted so far already posted by another blog/website which what I’m doing is just put a little modification and voila, more nonsense is served. You can check my previous post if you like, that’s the reason I’m not deleting my old post because I’m telling the facts here.

And the fact that I feel faking myself and all of you, I thought it’s no point doing this bloging stuff not to mention I’m kinda lost what kind value I can deliver if what I’m doing only repackaging what others posted. It shamefull for what I’ve done was just to get more traffic for my blog. That’s the thing that make me easily bored and without knowing it I left this blog.

Okey, before continue, Let me have a cigarette brake first :) . And…. Now let’s begin for round two !

Why I decided to return ?

Because I’ve failed once, which is a good thing, because for what I’ve been experienced when we are failing we learned. We start to analyize, figure how to solve the problem hence come with improvement. All it takes just a will to start over from the beginning.

In a past of a couple months, before I started to write this article, I don’t have any mood for writing this blog again. Being stuck in the same old routine with nothing good happened and not to mention unnecessary drama. Your soul will slowly die. Let alone to write something legendary, you can’t even write a single word to begin with.

So I failed in my first attempt, well that’s okay, it’s just a part of learning process I guess. While it took some times to regain myself, I’m finally in the right track, started from the bottom, feeling the enthusiasm back and get exciting like someone who just lost virginity.

Okey, I think that enough for now. I apologize if my stories can’t give you any motivation or what so ever. Because I might be not a good role model for you, I probably still like you guys who sruggling to become the best. But to built an empire takes time right ? So we might just relax, started from the bottom, keep learning, enjoy every process and try a new things that excite you. Who know you might found something wonderfull. Just keep the good work :)

WHO Propose To Stand Figure Warning On Cigarette Wraps

2016-05-29T21:54:00.003-07:00

( Image : health.kompas.com )

Cigarettes Wraps are considered not just as tobacco packaging. Moreover, It runs ads that promote the use of cigarette. It makes the product look more attractive and ignore the health warnings since the customers think that tobacco pruducts are not dangerous.

For that matters the World Health Organization ( WHO ) and the Labor Convention on Tobacco Control ( FCTC ) suggested that cigarette packs should made plain and simple. The paxks will be made without any decoration, no more catchy element of what so ever usuallly exist on the packs. What remains is the box of the product which causes the death of 6 million people per year.

This new package is expected to reveal the reality of tobacco products . It will standardize by made it in two contrasting colors like black and white , or color specified by the government.

Later, in the packaging, a picture of warnings will occupy the largest size. Meanwhile cigarette brands or product names are small in size ( approximately 25 percent ), and no information about the quantity of the product.

The purpose of this plain packaging is of course to reduce the pulling effect of tobacco products, as well as limiting the effects of cigarette packs as a form of promotion or advertisement. Some studies also show that plain packaging could help improve the public 's attention the dangers of smoking and the cigarette industry is considered not to be facing significant obstacles if it increases the size of pictorial health warnings on cigarette packs.

The Newest #PrisonBae With The "Cutest Mugshot Ever"

2016-05-27T20:24:00.000-07:00

( Image : tribcw33 )

Just now (28/05/2016), I got notice that social media were making a fuzz over a mugshot of an attractive Arkansas woman.

Sarah Seawright, a 24-year-old woman of Arkansas, reportedly taken into custody for failure to appear in court for careless driving arrest on April. She found Internet fame after her near-perfect mugshot popped up all over Twitter alongside the hashtag #PrisonBae.

There some her facts which I found on heavy.com :

1. She Skipped a Court Appearance for a December 2014 Arrest for Careless Driving

Sarah Seawright was arrested on a failure to appear warrant after skipping a court appearance related to a December 2014 arrest on charges of driving without insurance and careless driving, according to Pulaski County court records.

According to online court records, Seawright paid a $250 fine for driving without liability insurance and a $115 fine for careless and prohibited driving. She then had the failure to appear charge dismissed and is a free woman once again.

2. She Was Involved in the Robbery & Beating of a Man in a Target Parking Lot in 2012

Seawright has been in trouble with the law in the past. She was arrested on armed robbery charges in 2012 along with a man named LeDarius Laron Scales, nicknamed, “D-Money,” according to online court records.

Police in Bryant, Arkansas, told a local news station, Fox 16, that the victim was walking in the parking lot of a Target store on December 10, 2012, when Seawright, who the man said he “kinda knows,” offered him a ride. Police said when he got into the car, Seawright drove around to the back of the store.

Scales pointed a gun at him and then struck him in the head with it after robbing him of $380, police said.

Seawright was charged with aggravated robbery, first-degree battery, kidnapping, hindering apprehension and tampering with evidence. But she later pleaded guilty only to hindering apprehension, a class B felony. She was sentenced to five years probation in 2014.

Scales pleaded guilty to robbery and battery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

3. She Has Been Called #PrisonBae & #JailhouseBae on Social Media & Seems to Be Taking the Newfound Fame in Stride

Sarah Seawright’s mugshot was released and posted online by Pulaski County on May 12. It then began to spread on social media after it was featured on the website Ugly Plastic. Some social media users then began to call her #PrisonBae and #JailhouseBae. Seawright seems to be taking her newfound fame in stride, posting on Facebook, “Trending topic status.”

4. Someone Asked Former NFL Wide Receiver Chad Johnson to Bail Her Out, Even Though She Was Already Free

Seawright’s mugshot reached former NFL receiver Chad Johnson after @httpsjhey tweeted at him, “@ochocinco bail her out #JailHouseBae.”

Johnson replied, “Today is a day to save money, she’s gonna have to sit & think about her mistakes like I did,” referencing

But Seawright didn’t actually need Johnson’s help to get out of jail. She was released on $750 bail after her latest arrest. And the charges that led to that arrest have also been taken care of.

5. Her Booking Photo Is the Latest ‘Hot Mugshot’ to Go Viral

Seawright’s booking photo is the latest “hot mugshot” to go viral online, joining the likes of Alysa Bathrick and Jeremy Meeks.

Bathrick, posted her own mugshot online in 2014, writing, “”F*ck what you heard…my mugshot’s cute.” She had been arrested on charges for selling prescription drugs and had previously been convicted of assault. Bathrick was arrested again in 2015 for shoplifting, ABC News reported.

Meeks, who was arrested in June 2014, was able to parlay his mugshot fame into a modeling contract. He was released from federal prison in March after serving more than a year for a weapons charge.

And for additional, here are some of the photo of her which I found on the google :

5 Reasons Why Differences Are Great For Your Social Life

2016-05-27T07:36:00.003-07:00

( Image : IG - indozonelife )

Today (27/05/2016), as my rutine goes by scrolling on instagram, I found this nice posting picture about ( I think ) '' living with tolerant ''. And since it is a good spot to share opinion, I would like to point out what it's mean to living with tolerance. Bare with me, okey :)

Humans are a sosial being, as social beings of course we need to be able to interact with other individuals in order to meet our needs. Living in society , an individual will be faced with groups of different colors, one of them is religion differences.

With differences, whether it is religion, races, skin colour or social status, no wonder there alway be a fuss about it and it's okay, more over it's great. Can you imagine how dull it is life without differences?

Taking on thedreamcatch.com, here are reasons which I agree why we should be open to understanding the differences in others:

You’ll learn new things and make better decisions: They say that everyone you meet can teach you something new. When we are curious about others and ask the right questions, we can learn a lot of interesting things. You never know, you might get a spark of inspiration or a brilliant insight from someone when you least expect it.
You’ll make more interesting friends: When we come from a non-judgmental place, other people can sense it and will be naturally drawn to you. This results in you building a more eclectic network of friends from different backgrounds. The internet makes it a whole lot easier for us to access all kinds of online groups and communities where we can meet a diverse array of people.
You’ll be a more progressive person: Our world is becoming an increasingly smaller and cohesive unit because of the internet and the ease of travel. Our global diaspora is filled with a population of individuals with increasingly complex layers and textures to their cultural identity. By becoming more sensitive to these shifts, we stay on trend with the progression of our global culture.
You’ll feel better: Whenever we experience any form of resistance or hatred towards another group of individuals, we are engaging in a lower vibration of energy. When we overcome this resistance, we feel lighter, happier, and give ourselves more opportunity to experience joy and satisfaction.
You’ll make the world a better place: When you demonstrate more understanding and tolerance towards others, you are making a positive contribution towards the collective consciousness. We are in deep need for individuals to spread the word and be role models to younger generations so that we can promote peaceful and amicable relationships between our communities.

Okey, that's all I could say in this post, hope this could be our little reminder if ever occur that differences are bad to our life. Anyway if you agree with me in this post, kindly share it.

Thanks for reading all :))

3 Reasons Why Cannabis Should Be Legal

2016-05-26T01:32:00.000-07:00

Wow, hold up your thought, if you diss me because of this post, please be my guest and stop reading this post and start read another post :)).

Yes, I know you'll get high for consume this ''green''. But I don't think it's not the real issuess here, the real issues is if you addicted to it and worst you take a lot of dose for using it. And because of this stupid act some country claim it was illegall for selling this. But I can share with you, there is some good reasons why cannabis should be legal too. Let's See!

Marijuana Is The Only Drug Studied That Posed A Low Mortality Risk To Its Users.

( Image : cdn.exploringlifesmysteries.com )

Quoted from washingtonpost :

Compared with other recreational drugs — including alcohol — marijuana may be even safer than previously thought. And researchers may be systematically underestimating risks associated with alcohol use.

Those are the top-line findings of recent research published in the journal Scientific Reports, a subsidiary of Nature. Researchers sought to quantify the risk of death associated with the use of a variety of commonly used substances. They found that at the level of individual use, alcohol was the deadliest substance, followed by heroin and cocaine.

And all the way at the bottom of the list? Weed — roughly 114 times less deadly than booze, according to the authors, who ran calculations that compared lethal doses of a given substance with the amount that a typical person uses. Marijuana is also the only drug studied that posed a low mortality risk to its users.

Legalizing Marijuana Would Help the Economy

(Image : www.thcfinder.com)

Quoted from greenito.com :

Marijuana is a product that people clearly want, and making it illegal hasn’t stopped the demand for it. By keeping it illegal the government pays billions of dollars on enforcement, and all of the money made on the sale is kept unregulated and untaxed. By legalizing marijuana it helps guarantee a safer product, and it allows people to purchase what they want, and to use it as responsible adults. And it can go a long way toward balancing the budget and increasing job growth.

In my opinion I would agree for this one, especially when it comes to product safety, by doing this, it should be a regulation on how to consume it in safer way.

Cannabis Also Have Good Benefits For Your Pets

( Image : www.lamota.org )

In my opinion, over a years, cannabis have a benefits for both medically and recreationally. But It also proven to your pets. Just like I quoted from naturalnews.com :

Al Byrne's three dogs, who range in age from three to 13, have also responded positively to marijuana. Besides noticeable increases in energy among all the dogs, Al says each of his furry family members now has a shinier coat and a "shine in their eyes" that was not there before.

"When you see them enjoying life and feeling better and not being sick, you know you've hit something," says Darlene Arden, a certified animal behaviorist who is a strong advocate for veterinary cannabis use. "I think we can now see marijuana for exactly what it is and what it can do. [It's not] a street drug but a legitimate medication to be used under proper supervision."

Many CBS New York commenters with pets seem to agree with these sentiments, as some of them posted their own stories about how medical cannabis helped their pets. One woman recounts how her three-year-old dog almost died from epilepsy but experienced a dramatic and immediate recovery after being placed on a regimen of medical cannabis.

All the explaination I gave you surely put cannabis as fascinationg plant, but I hope this post won't mislead you to a conclusion that it save to treated without suspicion. Hope you can aware of that, and if you have an experience for this matter, please subscribe. Hope I can give another article regarding this. :))

Story About Indonesian Corn Coffee

2016-05-23T20:12:00.000-07:00

(Image : it.forwallpaper.com)

Coffee drinking has become a tradition among Indonesian such a long time. The fact that it's related with it's long historical ''red'' report about coffee plantation in Indonesia.

( Image : 3.bp.blogspot.com )

Since coffee became one of mainstay commodities Dutch East Indies colonial government , the beans produced by growers almost all exported . Low quality and non-exported beans are given to the native workers as beverage. However , because coffee is so precious back then, the native usually adding the corn.

Sometimes they use corn as substitute for coffee. By roast the corn to black then ground it and served as a beverage like coffee. The taste is of course far from the taste of the coffee. But this don't affect them, because the importance is it felt equally bitter, like coffee. This tradition that keep some of traditional cafe served coffee mixed or substituted with corn.

Unfortunately , corn coffee is not so accepted in the tongue of coffee lovers today who favoring the authenticity of the taste of coffee. But , do you know that corn coffee is recommended as healthy alternative ?

As people nowdays become cautions to lessen their caffeine intake. Based on Chito Rodriguez of the Institute of Plant Breeding-University of the Philippines Los Baños (IPB-UPLB) in a seminar talk organized by the Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) :

“Caffeine intake triggers the fight-or-flight mechanism in our bodies. When the fight attack mode wears off, panic attack starts. We get nervous, jittery, sweaty, and shaky. Caffeine is also addictive so once we get into the habit of getting our caffeine fix, our body begins to crave the boost that we get from it. If we fail to get the dose of caffeine that our body has adapted to, we become irritable, tired, and even depressed,”

As he given the caffeine side effect, he advised to try coffee corn which the healthful benefits come from it's being packed with vital nutrients such as providing energy, growth and development yet to regulate bodily functions. He claims that although some of the benefits will reduce after roasting and grinding process but the essential nutrients are still there.

( Image : www.organicfacts.net)

Since corn coffee is caffeine free and yet healthier than average coffee, He continue state that It can control diabetes, prevent cardiovascular disease, lower hypertension, reduce cholesterol level, minimize risk of colon cancer, and prevent neural-tube defects in infants.

So, with this explaination would you have a mind to try this corn coffee?

7 Ideas To Put Your Leftover Coffee Grounds To A Good Use

The Reason Why People Humiliating Themselves On Talent Show?

2016-05-22T20:32:00.001-07:00

( Image : herokuapp-com )

Okey, you have probably watch many talent show, and see many people with no gift at all walk on stage, act like they're expert in whatsoever they doing and finally ended up when the audiece realises what a sore loser they are.

It's usually embarrasing for everyone involved to see this yet damaging the confidence of the artist itself. Question is why this people dare to walk on stage in the first place? Why don't they recognise their own lack of ability instead humiliating themselves?

Well, for the first time I found the answer on soccerwidow.com, it is the Dunning-Kruger effect. Have you ever heard it before? Well here it is for short :

The effect is a ‘cognitive bias’ in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. - soccerwidow.com

I agree with the definition itself, these poor '' incompetent'' people will :

1. tend to over-estimate their own level of skill;

2. fail to recognise genuine skill in others;
3. fail to recognise the extremity of their inadequacy;
4. recognise and acknowledge their own previous lack of skill, if they are exposed to training for that skill

After hearing some those explainations, You will probably be saying to yourselves that those ‘incompetents’ are the other people, but not you. Well, I also ever say that before but what is it then ? the signs that you are really competent people?

Again, on soccerwidow.com, there are four stages of competence :

Unconscious Incompetence

The individual does not understand or know how to do something and does not necessarily recognise the deficit.
Conscious Incompetence

Although the individual does not understand or know how to do something, he or she does recognise the deficit, as well as the value of a new skill in addressing the deficit.
Conscious Competence

The individual understands or knows how to do something. However, demonstrating the skill or knowledge requires concentration.
Unconscious Competence

The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it has become “second nature” and can be performed easily.

Finally, It is time to compare yourself, ask yourself which stage you are in now? Surely, you can figure out how you could improve yourself stage by stage. This post were in purpose as remind for all of Us, not only for talent show, but to all aspect. It's okey to admitted our incompetence but please for your sake don't show it to make fool of yourself. Try to improve before show it.

So what's your opinion then?

How Usually Do People Enjoy Coffee ?

2016-05-19T06:11:00.001-07:00

Question, how usually take your coffee? Won't you agree there a lot of way you could do with this drink. Well, in this post I found something interesting on lifehack.org that show how coffee been served from the start. Let's See!

Need to tell you that I'm also 100% agree with this statement :

As the equation at the bottom points out, no matter how you take your coffee, the secret to a great brew is the correct grind being used with the proper heat and left to brew the right amount of time. If you line up all of these factors, any esspresso, joe, cappiccno, latte or mocha will taste fantastic. Heck, that’s even the secret to a great cup of tea, only with leaf size and variety filling in for grind size. - lifehack.org

So what do you thing? It's simple to understand how should you serve your coffee, right?

What Happens To A Dog In The Zombie Apocalypse?

2016-05-18T20:50:00.000-07:00

I agree with some statement from a comment box on www.dogguide.net

Dogs are the most loving creatures in the world. You can abandon the dog but a dog will never do the same to you. Dogs stay with their owners till the end of life or the universe, whichever comes earliest.

This animation from www.dogguide.net will tell you about a dog who search his owner. Even the world conquered by human-flesh eating zombies. This short video is so fantastic that I'm inviting you, especially dog lovers to see it. Lets See!

If you finish watching the video, please take care of you fellow canine. And teach them how to beat zombie-a**. :))

What do you think about the video?

65 Advices From Goldman Sachs To Become A Man's Man

2016-05-16T02:47:00.000-07:00

( Image : vcpost.com )

The question '' What does it mean to be a man today? '' has clearly made this American Banking Firm, Goldman Sachs, published tons of advices which designed to make a man's man.

Taking on www.lifehacker.com :

The Unofficial Goldman Sachs guide to being a man:

Stop talking about where you went to college.

Always carry cash. Keep some in your front pocket.

Rebel from business casual. Burn your khakis and wear a suit or jeans.

It’s OK to trade the possibility of your 80s and 90s for more guaranteed fun in your 20s and 30s.

Never stay out after midnight three nights in a row… Unless something really good comes up on the third night.

You will regret your tattoos.

Never date an ex of your friend.

Join Twitter; become your own curator of information.

If riding the bus doesn’t incentivise you to improve your station in life, nothing will.

Time is too short to do your own laundry.

When the bartender asks, you should already know what you want to drink.

If you perspire, wear a damn undershirt.

Hookers aren’t cool, but remember, the free ones are a lot more expensive.

When people don’t invite you to a party, you really shouldn’t go.
And sometimes even when you are invited, you shouldn’t go.

People are tired of you being the funny, drunk guy.

When in doubt, always kiss the girl.

Tip more than you should.

You probably use your mobile phone too often and at the wrong moments.

Buy expensive sunglasses. Superficial? Yes, but so are the women judging you. And it tells these women you appreciate nice things and are responsible enough not to lose them.

Do 50 push-ups, sit-ups, and dips before you shower each morning.

Eat brunch with friends at least every other weekend. Leave Rusty and Junior at home.

Be a regular at more than one bar.

Act like you’ve been there before. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the end zone at the Super Bowl or on a private plane.

A glass of wine or two with lunch will not ruin your day.

Learn how to fly-fish.

No selfies. Aspire to experience photo-worthy moments in the company of a beautiful woman.

Own a handcrafted shotgun. It’s a beautiful thing.

There’s always another level. Just be content knowing that you are still better off than most who have ever lived.

You can get away with a lot more if you’re the one buying the drinks.

Ask for a salad instead of fries.

Don’t split a check.

Pretty women who are unaccompanied want you to talk to them.

When a bartender buys you a round, tip double.

Be spontaneous.

Find a Times New Roman in the streets and a Wingdings in the sheets. She exists.

Piercings are liabilities in fights.

Do not use an electric razor.

Desserts are for women. Order one and pretend you don’t mind that she’s eating yours.

Buy a tuxedo before you are 30. Stay that size.

One girlfriend at a time is probably enough.

#StopItWithTheHastags

Your ties should be rolled and placed in a sectioned tie drawer.

Throw parties.
But have someone else clean up the next day.

Measure yourself only against your previous self.

Take more pictures. With a camera.

Place-dropping is worse than-name dropping.

Your clothes do not match. They go together.

Yes, of course you have to buy her dinner.

Staying angry is a waste of energy.

If she expects the person you are 20% of the time, 100% of the time, then she doesn’t want you.

Always bring a bottle of something to the party.

Don’t use the word “closure” or ever expect it in real life.

If you are wittier than you are handsome, avoid loud clubs.

Date women outside your social set. You’ll be surprised.

If it’s got velvet ropes and lines, walk away unless you know someone.

You cannot have a love affair with whiskey because whiskey will never love you back.

If you believe in evolution, you should know something about how it works.

No-one cares if you are offended, so stop it.

Never take an ex back. She tried to do better and is settling with you.

Eating out alone can be magnificent. Find a place where you can sit at the bar.

Read more. It allows you to borrow someone else’s brain, and will make you more interesting at a dinner party — provided that you don’t initiate conversation with, “So, who are you reading…”

Ignore the boos. They usually come from the cheap seats.

Don’t ever say, “it is what it is.”

Don’t gamble if losing $100 is going to piss you off.

Remember, “rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.”

You see, there are still a few interesting advice that can be adopting into your lifestyle. So the question is What does it take for you to be a man today?

New Way To Enjoy Your Coffee : Whiskey Ice Coffee Popsicles

2016-05-15T22:07:00.002-07:00

( Image : iwillnoteatoysters.com )

Have you ever bored to enjoy your coffee on daily basis? Well, the good news, there is a unique way to enjoy it. Try make it as POPSICLES. Yes, but what makes it special about it, you can add a bit of whiskey. Sounds great?

Well, according to iwillnoteatoysters.com, It state that :

Mine is made with my favorite beverage of all time, ice coffee with a bit of whiskey. MMM. Instead of cold brewing coffee using water, this is made by cold brewing with a combination of milk and cream. It sits in the fridge over night and slowly develops the delicious flavor of the coffee. Use good beans please!!!!!!!!! And please grind them at home so they’re super fresh. Cocoa Nibs add that bit of texture that any popsicle needs. I used sweetened ones but feel free to use any kind you like. If you can’t find cocoa nibs, you can change them out for mini chocolate chips. - iwillnoteatoysters.com

Now, let's see how to make them :

( Image : iwillnoteatoysters.com )

WHISKEY ICE COFFEE POPSICLES WITH COCOA NIBSMAKES 10 POPSICLES

1/2 cup good quality coffee beans

1 pint (2 cups) whole milk

1/2 (1 cup) pint heavy cream

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup boiling water
1/4-1/3 cup whiskey scotch, I used Johnny Walker Red

1/2 cup cocoa nibs

Okey, first of all I didn't make this recipe myself. So all the recipe is based what is written on iwillnoteatoysters.com.

As you already prepare the ingredients I mention above, please follow the the instruction below based on iwillnoteatoysters.com. Good luck !

Grind the coffee beans coarsely. Place them inside of a french press. Pour in the milk and cream and mix to combine. Place the lid on the french press but don’t press down the plunger! Set in the fridge overnight or a minimum of 12 hours. You can mix it occasionally if you remember to.

Make the simple syrup by combining the sugar and the boiling water. Stir until all of the sugar has dissolved.

Press the plunger down and pour out the coffee milk into a container with a spout of easy pouring. Add the simple syrup and the whiskey and mix to combine.

Place the cocoa nibs at the bottom of each of the popsicle molds. About a tablespoon in each one. Pour the whiskey coffee into the molds, cover with the top, place the stick into each and transfer it carefully to the freezer.

Freeze for at least 5 hours until completely frozen through. Un-mold the popsicles and enjoy!

What to Expect from a Chemex Coffee Brewing

2016-05-13T19:26:00.000-07:00

( Image : www.perfectdailygrind.com )

Like usual, my curiosity towards coffee lead me to this iconic brewer, invented by American Chemist, Peter Schulumbohm, the Chemex is easy to use yet coat with timeless design.

Quick introduction about Chemex and What we expect from it lies below :

Chemex is a pour-over method, which means that the water passes through a bed of coffee and a filter, normally made out of paper. In contrast to say a French press, the Chemex will give you a remarkably clean cup of coffee. Chemex paper filters are 20-30% heavier than other filters so they retain more of the suspended oils during the brewing process and solids cannot pass through the filter. - www.perfectdailygrind.com

I also add tutorial how to brewing chemex coffee which i found in this link, Let's See!

7 Ideas To Put Your Leftover Coffee Grounds To A Good Use

2016-05-12T21:29:00.000-07:00

( Image : farmersalmanac.com )

Not only to make you awake every morning, reusing coffee grounds can have agreat benefit. These littke grounds have a value of its own, and when you seeing it, you'll stop thinking them as trash.

Taking on tastingtable.com, there is 7 ways to put those leftover grounds to a good use. Let's See!

Clean Your Grill, Pots and Pans
Abrasive coffee grounds are great for scrubbing greasy grills, pots and pans. Put grounds on a rag and gleefully scrub away, knowing you're using a natural product to eliminate hard-to-clean grime.

Add Grounds to Your Compost Pile
If you keep a compost pile, add the grounds to help improve the soil you use for your plants. Serious Eats says, "Worms love the stuff: They'll munch your day-old coffee happily, turning it into black gold by digesting it and producing nutrient-rich castings."

Use Them as Fertilizer for Your Plants
Speaking of which, as an organic fertilizer, coffee grounds improve "drainage, water retention and aeration in soil." Mixing grounds directly into soil helps plants get essential elements like phosphorus and potassium without the use of chemical fertilizers. Be sure to rinse the naturally acidic grounds first, however, or add them to compost before using them in soil.

Rid Your Hands of Garlic and Onion Smells
Oniony and garlicky odors like to linger on the hands. If you find yourself struggling to completely rid yourself of the gnarly stench, try rubbing your hands with coffee grounds when you're finished handling these pesky alliums.

Keep a Bowl in Your Fridge to Eliminate Odors
Just as coffee can remove the stubborn smells from your hands, so too can it rid your refrigerator of lasting odors. Dry out leftover grounds, stick them in a bowl in your fridge and say so long to whatever food smells are creeping around in there.

Hide Scratches on Your Furniture
Coffee's naturally dark color makes it perfect for hiding scratches on wood tables, chairs or other furniture. Let the grounds sit for up to 10 minutes to stain unwanted marks, then wipe away with a rag for a more polished appearance with almost no effort.

Use Grounds as a Rub for Meat
Coffee makes a great rub on meats like pork or beef. Since they're bitter, using a sweetener, like sugar or molasses, is advisable. Get creative with it.Once you start seeing the value in those little grounds, you'll stop viewing them as a hassle that's only going to go in the trash.
