			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After months of <a href="http://www.straight.com/article-281369/vancouver/olympic-protest-zones-dont-exist-vpd-says">denying that &#8220;Free Speech Zones&#8221; even exist</a>, the <a href="http://v2010isu.ca">Vancouver 2010 Integrated Security Unit</a> finally announced the location of these protest zones on Thursday, rebranding them as optional <a href="http://v2010isu.ca/ViewPage.action?siteNodeId=511&amp;languageId=1&amp;contentId=13447">&#8220;Safe Assembly Areas.&#8221;</a> If using these areas is optional and free speech is still allowed everywhere, then what&#8217;s the point, we ask? If these are the &#8220;safe&#8221; areas, then what are we supposed to think about everywhere else?</p>
