People have been seeking ways to stay young for as long as anyone can remember. While the key to eternal life has not yet been discovered, there are many keys to maintaining or regaining younger looking skin. Every day, people visit spas and skincare clinics looking for ways to reverse signs of aging. Many people also treat their skin at home with the latest skincare formulas. Laser Appointments to Repair Damaged Skin

One of the top clinical options for skin repair is laser treatment. It is popular for many reasons. One is that it is one of the least invasive forms of clinical skincare. Lasers come in many types. One of the latest options to enter the market is called a fractional CO2 laser. The treatment it performs is sometimes called Fraxel laser treatment. It involves the creation of tiny columns or tunnels through all layers of skin with the laser machine. You can also try using injections to smooth out your skin wrinkles. Botox injections freeze your muscles temporarily, while filler injections “inflate” and often medicate your skin.

Finding the Right Medicated Skincare Creams

Creams and lotions are big business in the skincare industry. If you need to use one after a procedure like a laser treatment, your clinician will recommend one for you. However, if you are only using cream or lotion for preventative purposes or to cure minor skin ailments at home, you have to select a cream yourself. The creams or lotions you choose should contain healthy ingredients like vitamin A, peptides and antioxidants.

Sunscreen is also an essential part of skincare. You may not realize it, but the sun can penetrate cloud cover and damage your skin at any time. That’s why you should wear skincare creams and lotions with built in sun protection. That way your skin can stay hydrated and protected in any weather conditions. New advancements in sunscreens are making them more effective at blocking out UVB and UVA rays. Take the time to ask your skincare professional for recommendations, if you are not sure which one to use.
