Congratulations to Steve and Zach Stilwell. They started their race season this past weekend, hitting the Minnesota State Championship series. Steve riding the Optimus Ti and Zach riding a Jabberwocky. With the threat of canceling the race and 40 degree start weather they were ready to get out there and ride!

Known as PMBAR and stated to be one of the toughest races around...something to challenge everyone. Jeremy Arnold, out of North Carolina, teamed up with Luis Calderon, out of Florida, in the suffering. Ron Bennett, out of Florida, is riding the Optimus Ti (to the left of Jeremy).  Thanks Ron!  Hitting four checkpoints in 7 hours and 47 minutes they were 19th out of 72 finishing teams. Team Rider - John Sanborn - set out to conquer the Ouachita Challenge on April 5th and 6th. 
John got 4th in overall with 80 mile distance at 6 hours and 46 minutes.  This part of the race was limited to only 100 very qualified riders due to the level of difficulty. But for Vassago supported rider Ben Shockey, it could not have been better.

In a extreme condition snow race dominated by Pugsley riders, Ben won the Triple D Adventure Race by over 50 minutes aboard his Jabberwocky! Nice job Ben!

Day 2 - Kevin was able to finish the course at a good pace until the last 2 miles of mud. Feeling really strong he rode in at 46 miles in 7 hours. Ending at about mid-pack of 200 out of 400.

Vassago Cycles and team riders Kevin Clark, Brian Archer, and Chris Davis headed down to Fort Mill, South Carolina for the 12 Hour race at Tree Shaker. 




The day started off in the low 40's as everyone got ready and double/triple checked their gear. A quick prep of the pre-race meeting and the line up for the run started at 9am!
