Two years ago I was introduced to this movie called “The Secret” and was told not to let 24 hrs pass by without watching it. In fact some of the leaders in the movie were recently interviewed by Larry King on CNN. I was also told my goal to earn multiple 6-figures in the next 12 months was highly attainable and that movie could prove it. See the Secret TV

I was naturally curious because I am ALWAYS serious about transforming my Lifestyle and making that kind of money so I can make a significant difference in peoples lives.

So I watched it, and the rest is history! Simply the best way to spend time in front of the idiot box. I’ll let you decide. Visit “The Secret” movie website and watch it for yourself.

Cheers,

Checking Messages

President Obama who has said he is an addict to his Blackberry A.K.A “BarackBerry” but guess what, he will not have to give it up. He will be able to use it for professional and personal use after all. Don’t get all excited yet communication will be limited to senior staff members and a very small group of personal friends quoted White House spokesman Robert Gibbs. Robert Gibbs declined to elaborate on the names of the people in President Obama’s Fab Five. Gibbs also refused to comment on the anti-hacker features and said it has a super-encrypted software and “enhanced” security.

As we all know President Obama was very reluctant to give up his Blackberry. President Obama believes it’s a better way of keeping in touch
with people so he “doesn’t have to be stuck in a bubble.” His personal conversations will not be
recorded all other communication will be recorded by the laws of the land.

“There is speculation that his Blackberry may not be a Blackberry, but it might be a Sectera Edge which is manufactured by General Dynamics. This is the only device approved by our NSA ( The National Security Agency) for top-secret commnications,” as stated by Rover Entner telecom research chief of Nielsen.

Video

Entner said the Blackberry is used “like a generic term sort of like Kleenex,” which could account for the confusion. The Sectera, is a Palm Treo 750 that has been recreated
to be spy-proof say’s Entner.

Neither General Dynamics or RIM could be reached for comment. The White House is Mumm on subject and I think for the safety of the nation is should become a non-factor.

Cheers,

The Jawbone 2 is out and running strong! This is the newest version of the wildly popular Jawbone 1 by Aliph. This is about half the size of the original Jawbone and adds some awesome features that where missing form the original Jawbone. One of the biggest complaints of the original Jawbone was the size. I was very excited to see the new Jawbone was half the size of the original. Both of my Jawbones are connected to a Motorola Qc9 on the Sprint network. The Motorola has a very strong Bluetooth signal especially when paired with the Jawbone which is equally as strong.

The Jawbone comes in several different colors: black, pink, light blue, gold and silver. There are also some nice accessories you can order like: car charger w/ cable, second wall charger, and extra ear loops & earbuds.

Hardware Specifications:

Weight: < 1 oz. (with hear hook)
Bluetooth version 2.0 (Nice)
Battery Type: Rechargeable
Charging Time: Around 50-55 minutes.
Talk time: around 4 hours
Standby time: around 8 days
Range: Up to 33ft line of sight open room 40 ft.

The Jawbone has no buttons that you can see. There is an area in the middle that you press to power on & off the unit. There is also a button on the back of the unit where you control some of the newest functions.

1/2 the size of original.

New Functions:

Voice activated calling.
Call reject.
Change volume.
Turn noise assassin off & on.
Redial.

The main button allows you to control answering an income call, turning off LED (important), answering a call, & turning the headset on & off.

I did find that the Jawbone 2 felt a little flimsy even thought it is made of tough medical equipment plastic. I also found it difficult to manipulate the earpiece without ending a call accidentally. When you grab the top and bottom to adjust the fit the main button in the middle is just sensitive enough to end you call. Once you get in the habit of adjusting the earpiece you will not have that problem any more. This is opposite of the original where you had to press firmly on the middle button to get it to work.

Jawbone includes:

Headset
4 Earloops
3 Earbuds
USB Cable
Quick Start Guide
Wall Charger

Sound quality is excellent but not as good as the original. I would rate the sound quality a nine out of ten, not too shabby. Comfort is excellent, it is so light you will forget it is on your ear until it startles you with a ring. The wind has a big effect on the Jawbone, like all Bluetooth earpieces they suck in the wind. Most of the time I have to press mute to hear the person talking and turn my back to the wind when it’s time to answer the person.

In conclusion I find that I do like the Jawbone 2 over the original Jawbone. I find the sure weight of the unit to be very pleasing and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality doesnít bother me enough to worry about if I should switch back to the original Jawbone. I do think it is over price at $130.00 (at time of my purchase), but hey if you have a superior product and you know it then you can charge a little more for it. Right? Well I think if it was priced twenty dollars less and ten dollars more than most of the other competition that would be the perfect place.

I gotta say its a pretty cool book to listen to via Audible. The biggest kick comes when you find out that Obama is reading the book to you. I had heard he was different but when we lived in Chicago he was a state Senator. We left to return to Ohio before he was elected to the U.S. Senate, but we followed his steps the whole way.

Listening to this book gave me real insight to the stories I was hearing about him and that he really cared out the people he was elected to represent.

Listening to the stories helped solidify my vote for him. As I watched the election over the last six months her really tuned into what the people wanted and resisted the steady jabs to go dirty and ugly in the campaign. He ran on the issues and forced Senator McCain & staff to stay true to that also.

What I really appreciate about this book is the stories he would endure in Illinois and across the country about people that don’t have health insurance or might be losing a job to out sourcing. Crushing story’s all over the country pretty much the same story replayed over & over again every where he went. Wow!

Here is a person who could have gone to any TOP 25 law firm or company and made millions of dollars, but gave it up to serve the public sector. That is pretty awesome in this world of what have you done for me lately.

Only a few months ago, he was a successful executive. Now he’s a desperate man. David Ponder is about to make the worst decision of his life—to give up—when he is suddenly transported back in time to seven crucial moments in history. At each stop, he meets an extraordinary figure who imparts his or her secret for success. Sometimes we need divine wisdom from some of the greatest minds throughout history. What guidance would iconic heroes like Abraham Lincoln, King Solomon, and Anne Frank give us in today’s world climate?

On this incredible journey Ponder discovers The Seven Decisions for success that can turn any life around, no matter how hopeless a situation may seem. In this modern classic, Andrews’ blend of fiction and allegory will inspire you to find true and lasting success in your life.

Learn how to live life intentionaly by developing a list of 101 things to accomplish before you die.

You may have heard about doing something like this before, but have you actually sat down and done it yet? Did you see the movie the bucket list? This is very similar but instead of waiting until the end of life why not experience life now!

If you have, then congratulations, you are likely having great fun going through the list, checking things off and doing more in your life than most people would get done if they had ten lives.

If you have not, then understand that this article is timely for you, as it is never too late to start your list, unless you are dead, or dying soon, I might then refer you to find an article on the 10 things to do before you die, if you snooze, you lose.

The reality is we all die at some point, nobody knows when, or how, so if you want to look back on your life and see it as a life full of accomplishment and excitement, with no regrets, then it is time to put pen to paper.

Alright, now that I have likely hurt the feelings of some people and excited others, the underlying message here is Take Action Now.

This exercise is easy, take about 4-5 lined sheets of paper, number 1 – 101 down the side and at the top write “I am so happy and grateful now that I have a list before me that I will complete before I die.” and begin writing down whatever comes to mind.

Be sure to give yourself the time and space to get this list done, if you get stuck at 30-40 (as I did), then come back to it, leave it in a conspicuous place, like your fridge or something, with a pen attached, so you will keep filling in the blanks. Start planning completion dates for the most important things on your list.

Be specific, if you intend on traveling the World before you die, then pick the first destination, you want to know the Continent, Country, State/Province, City, Town and even the Street you wish to stay on.

The reason you want to be specific is this will develop an awareness and then every time a travel deal, atlas, globe in a store, presents itself in front of you, it will have you thinking about your goal of traveling to this destination.

This awareness brings images to mind, ideas of what you would do when you get there, it should make you smile. If you find yourself realizing that you have not done anything towards attaining your goal, hello, if you do not start now, you never will get any closer.

If you have too many obstacles in your way (not enough money, never would get time off work, kids are too small, kids are too big, have to save for their college, etc) then it is time for you to get your priorities straight; if you are not happy and truly living your life, then what is the point. Do what you can to make yourself happy, sell your goal to those around you so they will support you towards attaining it.

If the people around you tell you things like… “you are crazy,” “you will never get that done,” “you are only going to set yourself up for being depressed,” then it is time to get some new people around you because the people who will not support you on your dream will only hold you back from attaining it.

“A man who never had a dream, never had a dream come true.” – Author Unknown

How about adding a new touch to your list? Every time I cross something off the list, I add something to it; I always have something to do and I plan on dying with 101 things on my list, but also having completed hundreds of things that I wanted to do over the years.

Life is full of possibilities and potential and until you stake your claim on what you are going to do in your life, you never will get it done. I’ll tell you what, if you look at your list rather than the television and take some action towards checking something off the list, you will be much more likely to get it.

So, now is the time, go grabs some paper and a pen, start writing and planning the rest of your life. Remember, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

I learned from an online course called effective marketing 101 how an opportunity card can change peoples lives and improve your business. This is a very effective & savvy means to advertising your business that is very low cost and effective. I am going to go over how to use opportunity cards effectively and give you some links to where you can get some low cost cards printed. So lets get started..

Think of opportunity cards as a low cost way of advertising your business. Using a short but to the point advertisement with your contact information on it. You can place them on counter tops of store you shop at, or give them to the cashier when you buy something. I like to put them in my bills when I have to send in a payment or two.

I make sure that I leave an opportunity card each and every time we dine out or I get a cup of coffee. I leave one by the cream and sugar, or next to the cash register and some coffee houses or stores have a community board that I post two cards on. When park my truck I place one on the cars next to me in the parking lot on the drivers side windows.

But I learned from effective Marketing that he BEST way to use opportunity cards is to go some place where there are a lot of people and hand out as many as you can with a smile on your face. Some people will glance at it, some will not read it at all. Then there are those few that will read your card and if your ad & business resonates with them and they can use it for themselves or their family then you have a new customer.

It is that simple! So where do I get inexpensive cards for advertising? Well I use two places that offer quality products at very reasonable prices.

The first is www.vistaprint.com. The second is www.hotcards.com. Now either of there places will work every well.

The audio version is about two hours & twenty minutes long. It is the perfect length for an audio book to listen to while you do some outside work in the yard or while you commute too and from work. I definitely now you will be close to your goal by listening to this Unabridged book.
