New Client from another country !!

I got the call today at 6 am - it was a friend of my Mom's; she was having her daughter’s birthday party this coming Saturday. She was flying to London and didn’t have time to put the party together.

Now, the party is all set, catering is ordered, the house-keeping staff is scheduled to arrive just prior, and at the client's request, she now has a small manageable list of things she wants to prioritize, like what designer handbag she’ll pick up in London. She now even has the names and addresses of a half dozen designer boutiques right next to the hotel.

It’s very nice to know I made a client happy. I don’t get to see her smile but she has already texted me to say "Thanks ...couldn’t have done it without you!" ....But then again, why would anyone want to?

Staring your own Business ??

2010-03-23T19:26:00.000-07:00

When you first start out in business, you will no doubt do most things yourself, yet to continue trying to keep control of every task that needs doing by handling everything yourself, you’ll never be able to grow your business successfully. You’ll run out of time and also be limited by your own skillset.
The same applies when you commence a new management role, you want to make a good impression and show that you are capable of handling all your responsibilities without asking for any assistance. That’s fine if you can manage doing that effectively and maintain your sanity. However, if you are having difficulty and suffer in silence, other people…your team, colleagues and clients will eventually notice.
If you are a business owner or manager with a team of people, you’ll go crazy trying to do everything yourself without some form of assistance…and being a good manager, your role is to manage and develop your people. Together you will achieve more… more productivity and profit or whatever your purpose is.
When you have people working for you, you’ll find that managing your people will take up a lot of your time.
When you’re at this level you do need some form of assistance, a Virtual Executive Assistant VEA, a personal assistants who work off-site in their own business and whom you can hire on as ‘as needs’ basis.
This way you can have more time to focus on your business and family while we take some of your tasks in our hands..

What is VEA?

2010-03-21T18:01:00.000-07:00

The VEA is even more in demand now as an eco-friendly time and money-saving resource. In this digital era, a VEA can also help you manage social media and online branding.

You can benefit from my excellent organization, computer, and communication skills, along with experience in service that is available on a flexible schedule and a contract-per-project structure. This structure allows you to utilize services on an “as needed” basis. You can get what you need when you need it. Spanish / English translation services are also available. These services, and many more, are also available to the non-business individual who may require help with their busy everyday life.

My experience includes working with business owners, executives, managers, spouses, architects, brokers, bankers, stylists, designers, producers, writers, attorneys and real estate agents. A wide-range of diverse professionals have relied on my professional experience with their projects; including creating and maintaining new file systems and personal schedules, tracking and managing expenses, scheduling business travel, conference reservations and lodging. I also offer on-line research, as well as placing custom orders ensuring on-time delivery and receipt. AND, by using a VEA, you help keep the planet GREEN by using less paper (unless paper files are requested).

If you have a need for an efficient, capable and professional VEA on an "as-needed" basis, please consider me as your loyal, 100% private, Virtual Executive Assistant.

Please feel free to contact me anytime by email or phone. I will respond promptly.
