Dette er i hvert fall en matrett som går igjen på amerikanske veganblogger, ser det ut til. Jeg syntes jo det hørtes litt merkelig ut, men jeg er en sucker etter å teste ut nye ting, så dette måtte jeg jo prøve. Og gjett om jeg er glad for det. Den ble til ved at jeg måtte bruke opp noen gulrøtter og noe søtpotet, og så hadde jeg så vanvittig lyst på noe med linser og kikerter, så det gikk også oppi gryta. Så tilsatte jeg litt av ditt og litt av datt til det ble så velsmakende at jeg sikkert kunne spist en hel gryte alene om jeg hadde plass i magen. Dæven så godt!

Men en dag fikk jeg litt lyst å lage en annen form på baksten, så da ble snurrene til rullebrød! Man kan fylle dem med hva man vil, selvsagt. Jeg laget tre forskjellige sorter (pølse og ketchup, soyafarse og ketchup, og pesto, hvitløkssmør og soyafarse). Vel, grønnsaker er jo åpenbart. Det har vel de fleste alt-etere også på. Pizza uten kjøtt er jo bare godt, jeg valgte ofte vegetarpizza fremfor kjøttpizza selv før jeg ble veganer. Men osten da? Denne oppskriften gir ganske mange lapper, og gode er de! Stek dem gjerne også som pannekaker, det er faktisk egentlig en pannekakeoppskrift, men jeg har i litt mer sukker og vanilje og steker dem som lapper når jeg vil ha noe ekstra godt. Godkjent av to slikkmunner på 5 og 9 år. :)

Smaker masse av hvitløk, og valnøttene får en fantastisk smak og konsistens når de ristes litt først. Server til grillmat, som egen rett med godt brød til eller til en hvilken som helst middag der det passer seg med en salat på siden.

2 bokser kikerter (Rema 1000 sine er billige og supergode!)
4-5 store ss hakkede, soltørkede tomater i olje

150-200 gram vegansk hvit sjokolade
1 pakke Alpro kremfløte
Noen gode ss bringebærsyltetøy (uten E120/karmin)



Fremgangsmåte:
Smelt den hvite sjokoladen i vannbad og la den avkjøles litt. Pisk opp kremfløten og hell den hvite sjokoladen oppi mens du visper. Jeg smelte raskt sammen en gryte med gule linser, grønnsaker og diverse, og det ble så godt at jeg spiste restene i en skål til lunsj. Fin restegryte, og man kan sikkert bruke andre typer linser og, men jeg foretrekker de gule. Husk at røde linser moser seg raskt, så da kan gryta fort bli en gøgge.

Det er noe av det beste jeg får, nesten samme hva det er (bare det er vegansk, selvsagt). Quesadillas er en favoritt jeg lager altfor sjelden. Den kan varieres i det uendelige, og jeg har laget mange gode. Dette er en av de seneste. Hummus i Quesadillas er ganske genialt, det får fyllet til å henge mer fast, og det gir en knallgod smak.

Da jeg var i Krakow nylig, kom jeg over et fancy "make your own chocolate eggs"-sett. Til og med sjokoladeposene i pakken var veganske, hohei! Kikertene gir en fantastisk konsistens. Dropper man kelp-pulver og selleri og erstatter det med sort salt, har man "eggesalat". Verdens beste pålegg!

På tide! Jeg har hatt lyst til å lage dem lenge, men det har liksom aldri blitt før nå. Men disse kommer jeg til å lage igjen og igjen, for de var hinsides gode, alle elsket dem og de skal definitivt lages til min sønns 5-årsdag om ikke så lenge.

Synes jeg, i hvert fall. Det er det nærmeste jeg har kommet til nå både i smak og konsistens, så vi har en ny favoritt i hus! Lette å lage, selv om det er litt dikkete å måtte knuse linfrø og valnøtter, koke ris osv. Men det går fort, og har man risrester i hus går det jo enda fortere. 
Kokes risen i buljong, smaker det nok definitivt best.

Jeg liker å variere litt, og lager ofte nachos, enchiladas og lignende i stedet for den vanlige tacoen. De fleste lager potetstappe fra tid til annen, men det virker ikke som om søtpotetstappe har helt slått an her i landet enda. Merkelig nok, for det er jo helt fantastisk godt, og mye bedre enn vanlig potetstappe. Jeg trenger ikke noe tilbehør til dette, engang. Det smaker rett og slett helt himmelsk.

Klart det gjør. Det er jo et velkjent triks hos de fleste veganere da, men er likevel verdt å nevne her på bloggen siden det er så fantastisk bra. Null palmeolje og så raskt og enkelt å lage! Og så godt!
Kokos passer nok ikke til alt, og dette smaker jo kokos. Og det gikk aldeles strålende! Folk vil nok absolutt merke forskjell, men den forskjellen er ikke veldig stor, og kaken ble knallgod i både konsistens og smak. Dette er jo noe man kan imponere veganskeptiske besteforeldre med!




Ingredienser til en liten form, 20 cm:
Bunnen:
120 gram sukker
250 gram hvetemel
150 gram vegansk margarin
1 ts bakepulver
