Steve and I took a break from work last week to attend the Robinson Garden Tour with our friend Penelope Bianchi and her lovely design associate, Gilda.  We are always inspired by the amazing private gardens that are included each year.  

Although we weren't able to take any pictures of the private gardens, I did snap a few images of this charming greenhouse on the property of the Robinson Estate.

The front of the structure looks like a lath house,  but the sides and back are made of glass.

The greenhouse is flanked by hedged planting beds and gravel paths.

The Kitchen Gardens were designed this year by Dale Witt and Lucia Burke Garden Design.

Vases of gorgeous blooms filled the kitchen, designed by Teryl Designs Landscaping and Anthropologie.

The Butler's Pantry was decorated by the Beverly Hills Garden Club. 

Antique china plates were displayed in all of the cabinets.

Last October, Steve and I took our first buying trip to our friend Judy Watkin's vintage show "Remnants of the Past".  

I stopped shopping just long enough to take this picture with Judy. I really didn't know what to expect at Remnants of the Past last year. It was so much bigger and better than I could ever have imagined! Judy does a fantastic job, selecting only the best sellers. 

My favorite sellers designed amazing displays at Remnants of the Past last Fall. My friend, Kymberley Fraser from 3 Fine Grains and A Beautiful Mess, went all out with this fantastic creation!

Our friends from Atelier de Campagne brought a bit a France to Remnants of the Past in San Luis Obispo last Fall!

It's always a treat to see what the Junk Girls will conjure up. They are so creative!

Steve and I had such a fantastic time, that we knew we would be taking a trip to San Luis Obispo every time Judy decided to organize another ROTP.

Well, I don't know how Judy did it so quickly, but it's time for us to pack our suitcases and head up the coast again on June 2nd and 3rd to do some shopping at Remnants of the Past!

Steve and I had so much fun during the Legends of La Cienega "Windows to the World" event!  

Our Paris Flea Market inspired window at George Smith...

 On Friday night, we spent an hour admiring the windows along La Cienega Boulevard before attending the Veranda Magazine and Jonas Furniture party at Michael Smith's  Jasper Showroom. 

K.C. McCook's widow at Ralf's Antiques was inspired by his experience camping on the Mara River in Kenya.

Thomas Callaway's window at Ralf's Antiques was inspired by his love of Maine. 

Interior Designer Suzanne Kasler created a Belgian inspired window at Hollyhock.

Scotland was the inspiration for Interior Designer Adam Straus' window at Bausman.

and Palm Springs was obviously the inspiration for Interior Designer Christian May's window at Gray Morell. 

Steve and I ran out of time to take pictures of all of the windows, but our friend, Christian May did a fantastic job documenting the La Cienega Design Quarter windows on his fantastic design blog, Maison 21 here and here.
