Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani museum is located in Al Samriya, doha. 30 minutes travelling from Doha. There have museum and farm. In museum have entry fee Qr 15 for 10 years and above and Qr 50 for photography. Mobile photography has controlled by same charge. The main attractions are vintage car, trucks. There have one old steam engine car. Also have old wooden boats,weapons,carpets,agricultural equipments etc.its very worth to see. Due to the lack of good quality camera all photos and video has recorded by mobile cam. Please cooperate with quality.

In the farm dont have any entry fees. we can saw many peacocks are freely roaming. no fear to humans or vehicles. they are very friendly. Its feels like micro forest. The voice,trees,birds all are made different atmosphere compared to other part of qatar.

തൃശ്ശൂരിൽ കൊടകരക്ക് അടുത്ത് മറ്റത്തൂർ പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ ഇന്ജകുണ്ട് എന്ന ഗ്രമാത്തിനടുത്ത് പുരാതനമായ മുനിയറകൾ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രദേശം ആണ് മുനിയാട്ടുക്കുന്ന്. വളരെ ഉയർന്നു വിസ്താരമായ പാറയുടെ മുകളിലാണ് ഇത് ഉള്ളത്. 12ഓളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവ, ഇപ്പോൾ അശസ്ത്രിയമയ പാറ ഖനനം മൂലം ഒന്ന് മാത്രമാണ് അവശേഷിക്കുന്നത് . മികച്ച റോഡ്‌ സൌകര്യം വളരെ അടുത്ത് വരെ ഉണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ എത്തിചേരുനതിനു ബസ്‌ സൗകര്യം 2 കിലോമീറ്റെർ അടുത്ത് വരെ ഉണ്ട് . ശേഷം ഓട്ടോ തന്നെ ശരണം.

കൃഷി ഇടങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്രാമീണ സൌന്ദര്യം ആസ്വദിച്ചു കുന്നിൻ ചെരുവുകളിളുടെ യാത്ര ചെയ്തു വേണം ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കുനത്. ചുറ്റുപാടുമുള്ള പച്ചവിരിച്ച പറമ്പുകളുടെയും നിരകളായുള്ള മലകളുടെ ദ്രിശ്യവും തണൽ വിരിച്ച റോഡിലുടെ യാത്രയും മുനിയാട്ടുക്കുന്നിലേക്ക് എത്തുനതിനു മുൻപേ നവോന്മേഷം ഉണ്ടാക്കുണ്ട്.

മുനിയാട്ടുക്കുന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിനു പ്രത്യേക ബോർഡ് ഒന്നും കാണാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല. ഇടതു വശത്തു ഉയർന്നു കാണപ്പെട്ട പാറ ആണെന്നു ഊഹിച്ചു എന്നാലും നേരെ റോഡു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പോയി നോക്കാം എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു . എത്തിപെട്ടത് പ്രവർത്തനം നിർത്തിയ കരിങ്കൽ ക്രഷരിന്റെ ഭാഗത്താണ് . ഇത് കുന്നിൻ മുകളിലാണ് . ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് ഉള്ള ചുറ്റുപാടുമുള്ള കാഴ്ച അതിമനോഹരമാണ് .

കുന്നിൻ ചെരുവുകളും, സമതലങ്ങളും , പുക ഉയരുന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും വളരെ വിശാലമായ ദ്രിശ്യം നൽകുന്നു. പാറ പൊട്ടിച്ചെടുത്ത കുളങ്ങളും തട്ടുകളും സാഹസിക വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര മേഖലകുടെ പ്രതിതി നല്കുന്നു .

ഇവിടെ ചുറ്റികറങ്ങിയിട്ടും മുനിയറ കാണാതെ നിരാസപ്പെട്ടു തിരിച്ചിറങ്ങി. പിന്നെ വരുന്ന വഴിയിൽ കണ്ട ഉയർന്ന പാറയിൽ എന്ന് ഊഹിച്ചു കയറി. ഇവിടെ ഒരു ഭണ്ണ്ടാരാവും അതുമു മുകൾ ഭാഗത്തായി കുരിശും സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഊഹം തെറ്റിയില്ല മുനിയറ കണ്ടെത്തി.പൂർണമായ രൂപത്തിൽ ഒന്നും ഇടതുവശത്തായി മുകൾഭാഗം ഇല്ലാത്തത് ഒന്നും കൂടെ കണ്ടു. ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് കയറുവാൻ അല്പം സഹസികമാണ് എന്നാലും മുനിയറയും കുന്നിൻ മുകളിലെ ദ്രിശ്യ ചാരുതയും ഹൃദയം നിറച്ചു.

കുന്നുകളും മലകളും കാട്ടുചോലകളും താണ്ടി പക്ഷികളും വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളും വിഹരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലുടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കാൻ അനുയോജ്യമായ പ്രദേശം തൃശ്ശൂരിൽ കൊടകരക്കടുത്ത് മറ്റത്തൂർ പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട് .കാരിക്കടവ് ,ശാസ്ത്താപുവ്വം റോഡിലുടെ അല്പം സാഹസികത ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്നവർക്ക് കല്ലും മണ്ണും കുണ്ടും കുഴിയും ചെളിയും നിറഞ്ഞ റോഡിലുടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് ആദിവാസി ഊരുകൾ സന്ദർശിച്ച് ഒരു യാത്രയുടെ സംതൃപ്തി ഉൾക്കൊള്ളവുന്നതാണ്. വനംവകുപ്പിന്റെ അനുമതി ഇല്ലാതെ ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുനത് ഉചിതം അല്ല.

മറ്റത്തൂർ പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ കോടാലിയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് യാത്ര ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഇവിടെനിന്നും മുരുക്കുങ്ങൽ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് 2 കിലോമിറ്റർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു അവിടെ നിന്നും വലത്തോട്ട് തിരിഞ്ഞു താളുപ്പാടം എന്നാ ഗ്രമത്തിലുടെ തേക്കിൻ കാടുകൾ പിന്നിട്ട് ഹരിസ്സണ്‍ മലയാളം റബ്ബർ എസ്റ്റെറ്റിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു .കുത്തനെ ഉള്ള കയറ്റവും ഇറക്കവും കൊടും വളവുകളും വാഹനത്തിന്റെ വേഗത കുറക്കാൻ നിർബന്ധിതരാക്കി. മാനുകളേയും കാട്ടുപന്നികളെയും ഭാഗ്യമുണ്ടെകിൽ കാണാം. വലിയ തേക്കുമരങ്ങൾ,കുറ്റികാടുകൾ ,ചൂരൽ വള്ളികളുടെ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾ, ഇഞ്ചപുല്ല് , വിവിധ പക്ഷികളുടെ ശബ്ദം അല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും ഇവിടെ ഇല്ല. തേക്കിൻ മരത്തിൽ ആണ്‍മരംകൊത്തി പക്ഷികൾ കൊത്തുമ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന "ടൊക് ടൊക് " ശബ്ദം വേറിട്ട്‌ നിന്നു.

അല്പം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ "മുപ്ലി" എന്ന മലയോര കുടിയേറ്റ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു പിന്നീട് ഹരിസ്സണ്‍ മലയാളം റബ്ബർ എസ്റ്റെറ്റിലുടെ വലത്തോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു യാത്ര തുടർന്നു .കണ്ണെത്താത്ത ദുരത്തിൽ റബർ മരങ്ങൾ സുര്യപ്രകാശം കടത്തിവിടാതെ തണൽ വിരിച്ചു. അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിനു എയർ കണ്ടിഷൻറെ കുളിർമ .വായുവിനു പ്രത്യേക ഗന്ധം , ഇടതു വശത്തിലുടെ പുഴ ഒഴുകുന്നു ,റോഡിൽ ഇടയ്കിടെ കാലികൂട്ടങ്ങൽ .പിന്നീട് റബ്ബർ മരങ്ങൾ മുറിച്ചു മാറ്റിയ പ്രദേശമായി, പച്ചവിരിച്ച് പരന്ന് കിടക്കുന്ന കുന്നുകൾ, മലമുകളിൽ എസ്റ്റെറ്റു ബംഗ്ലാവ് തല ഉയർത്തി നിൽക്കുന്നു.

ശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ എത്തിചേർന്നത് ചൊക്കന യിൽ ആണ് .എസ്റ്റെറ്റു തൊഴിലാളികൾ താമസിക്കുനതും ഓഫീസുകളും സ്ഥിതി ചെയുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ്‌ .ഇതു നാൽകവല ആണ്, കുടാതെ വലിയ ഗ്രൌണ്ടും കാണാം .ഇവിടെനിന്നും വലത്തോട്ട് ആണ് പോകേണ്ടത് .പക്ഷെ ,നേരെ പോയി ആദ്യത്തെ ഇടതുവാശത്തെ ഗെറ്റിലുടെ മുന്നോട്ട് പോയാൽ പുഴ കടക്കുനതിനു ഇരുമ്പ് വടങ്ങളിൽ മരപലക ഉറപ്പിച്ച അട്ടുപാലം കാണാം . നുറു വർഷത്തിലധികം പഴക്കം ഉണ്ട് . നടക്കുമ്പോൾ പാലം പതുക്കെ ആടാൻ തുടങ്ങും.അല്പം ബോഡി ബാലൻസ് ഉണ്ടായാൽ പാലത്തിലുടെ നടക്കാൻ എളുപ്പമാണ്.10 മിനിട്ട് അവിടെ ചിലവഴിച്ച ശേഷം തിരിച്ച് നാൽകവലയിൽ എത്തി കാരിക്കടവ് ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി യാത്ര തുടർന്നു .

ഏകദേശം 300 മീറ്റർ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഇടതുവശ ത്തേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞു. റോഡ്‌ കുടുതൽ പാരുക്കൻ ആയി തുടങ്ങി . ബൈക്കിൻറെ വേഗത വളരെ കുറച്ചു. അല്പം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ വീണ്ടും നാൽക്കവലയിൽ എത്തി. ഇവിടെ രണ്ടു റോഡ്‌ വലത്തോട്ടും ഒന് ഇടത്തോട്ടും ആണ് . രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലത്തോട്ട് തിരിഞ്ഞു യാത്ര തുടർന്നു .ഉറച്ച മണ്ണുള്ള റോഡ്‌ ആണ് ഇടക്കിടെ വെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞ കുഴികളും ഉയർന്നു നിൽക്കുന്ന കല്ലുകളും ഉണ്ട് .സാധാരണയായി റബ്ബർ പാൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന ട്രാക്ടറുകളും ജീപ്പും ആണ് പോകുനത് .അതിലുടെ ബൈക്ക് ഓടിക്കുന്നത്‌ അല്പം സാഹസികമാണ് . കണ്ണെതാത്ത ദൂരത്തിൽ മലനിരകളുടെ ദൃശ്യം ഇവിടെ നിന്നും ആരംഭിക്കുകയായി. ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ അനപിണ്ടവും കണ്ടു.

റബ്ബർ എസ്റ്റെറ്റ് അവസാനിക്കാറായി ,ഇനി വനവും ആദിവാസികളുടെ താമസ സ്ഥലവും ആണ്.ഇവിടെ റോഡു നിർമ്മിചിരിക്കുനത് മലകളുടെ താഴ്‌വരയിൽ മണ്ണിട്ട് ഉയർത്തിയാണ്. ഇരുവശത്തും അപകടകരമായ ഗർത്തം . ചുറ്റും റബ്ബർ മരങ്ങൾ തണൽ ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. വാഹനം നിർത്തി അൽപനേരം കാഴ്ചകൾ ആസ്വദിച്ചു.

വേനല്കാലങ്ങളിൽ ഇവിടെ ആനകൾ സ്ഥിരമായി കാണാറുണ്ട് . പിന്നീട് ആദിവാസി കോളനി ആണ്.ചെറിയ തോതിൽ കൃഷി ഉണ്ട്. ഇവിടെ വൈദ്യുതി ഉണ്ട് .വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളിൽനുന്നും സംരക്ഷണത്തിനായി വൈദ്യുത വേലികളും ഉണ്ട്.കുറച്ചുസമയം ഇവിടെ ചിലവഴിച്ച ശേഷം യാത്ര തുടർന്നു .

റോഡ്‌ കുടുതൽ ദുർഘടമായി തുടങ്ങി.ചെളിയും വഴുക്കലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാണ് വണ്ടി ഓടിച്ചത്.ചിലയിടങ്ങളിൽ ഉരുളൻ കല്ലുകൾ നിറഞ്ഞ കയറ്റവും ഇറക്കവും ,തികച്ചും വെല്ലുവിളി നിറഞ്ഞ യാത്ര. പലയിടത്തും എൻറെ സഹയാത്രികൻ ഇറങ്ങി നടന്നു.പഞ്ചർ അയാൽ കഷ്ടപെട്ടത്‌ തന്നെ,അടുത്ത് ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ പോലും കാണാൻ കിട്ടില്ല .പിന്നെ ഫോണിനു ഇടയ്കിടെ റേഞ്ച് വരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള കഷ്ടപടാണ് ഇത്തരം യാത്രകളുടെ സംതൃപ്തിയുടെ അളവ് കുട്ടുന്നത് .

മലമടക്കുകളുടെയും കുന്നിൻ ചെരുവുകളുടെയും ദൃശ്യം കുടുതൽ ഹരം നല്കി.റോഡുകളുടെ കുറുകെ ഒഴുകുന്ന കാട്ടരുവികളിൽ തെളിമയാർന്ന നല്ല കുളിർമ ഉള്ള ജലം.അൽപം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ശാസ്താപുവ്വം ആദിവാസി കോളനിയിൽ എത്തി .ഇവിടം മുതൽ റോഡ്‌ കല്ലും ചെളിയും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നിരപ്പാക്കിയിട്ടുന്ദ്‌.കാട്ടരുവികൾ റോഡിനെ മുറിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് കോണ്‍ഗ്രീറ്റ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ആനകൾ, കാട്ടുപോത്തുകൾ, കുരങ്ങുകൾ ,മാനുകൾ,മലയണ്ണാൻ ,വിവധ പക്ഷികൾ എന്നിവ കാണപെടാറുണ്ട്. പുലിയെ കണ്ടതായും പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടിടുണ്ട്. വനത്തിൽ ജല ലഭ്യത ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ കട്ടുചോലകളിൽ തടയണ ഉണ്ട്. ഇവിടെ വിവിധ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കാൽപാടുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.പേടി തോന്നിയത് കാരണം പെട്ടന്ന് ഇവിടം വിട്ടു .

വനാതിർത്തിയിൽ വനം വകുപ്പിൻറെ ഓഫീസ് കണ്ടു. ഇതിനു അടുത്തായി റോഡിനു കുറുകെ വെള്ളം ഒഴുകുന്നുണ്ട്. അൽപം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ നാട്ടിൻപുറം എത്തി. വെള്ളികുളങ്ങരയിൽ നിന്നും പെട്രോളും നിറച്ച് ചായയും കുടിച്ച് കോടാലിയിലേക്ക് യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി. 30 കിലോമീറ്ററിൽ താഴെ മാത്രം യാത്ര ചെയ്ത ഒരു നല്ല ട്രിപ്പ്‌ കിട്ടിയതിലുള്ള സന്തോഷമായിരുന്നു മടക്കയാത്രയിൽ.

മെയ് മാസത്തിലെ അലസമായ ദിവസത്തിൽ തികച്ചും യാദൃശ്ചികമായിട്ടാണ് അതിരപ്പിള്ളി വാഴച്ചാൽ കാണാൻ സാഹചര്യം ഉണ്ടായത് . വേനൽ കാലമായതിനാൽ നല്ല ചൂടുള്ള കാലാവസ്ഥ ആണ് . വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിൽ വെള്ളം കുറവായിരിക്കും എന്ന മുൻ ധാരണ്ണയിലണ്ണ് പുറപ്പെട്ടത് .എന്നാൽ തുടർച്ചയായി പെയ്ത വേനൽ മഴ നിരാശ പെടുത്തിയില്ല .

ഇവിടെ പ്രധാനമായും മൂന്ന് വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടങ്ങളും നിബിഡമായ വനവും ആണ് ഉള്ളത്.അതിരപ്പിള്ളി ,വാഴച്ചാൽ ,ചർപ്പ എനിവയാണ് വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടങ്ങൾ`. കുടാതെ അരൂർ മുഴി ,തുമ്പൂർ മുഴി ,എഴാറ്റുമുഖം ,silverstorm വാട്ടർ തീം പാർക്ക്‌ എനിവയും അടുത്ത് തന്നെ ആണ് .

അതിരപ്പിള്ളി കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വനം ആണ്.ആനയും കാട്ടുപോത്തുകളും സാധാരണ കാഴ്ച ആണ് .വാഴച്ചാൽ, കേരളത്തിന്റെ സംസ്ഥാന പക്ഷി അയ മലമുഴക്കി വേഴാമ്പലുകളുടെ സംരക്ഷണകേന്ദ്രം കൂടി ആണ്.

അതിരപ്പള്ളി വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിലേക്കുള്ള കുത്തനെ ഉള്ള ഇറക്കവും കയറ്റവും ക്ഷീണിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ സാധ്യത ഉള്ളതിനാൽ ആദ്യം വഴച്ചാലിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെ ട്ടു .

അതിരപ്പിള്ളി കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ സുര്യപ്രകശം പോലും കടത്തിവടാത്ത അത്രക്കും കൂട്ടമായി വളർന്നു നിൽക്കുന്ന മുളം കാടുകൾ ആണ് റോഡിനു ഇരുവശത്തും തണൽ വിരിക്കുന്നത് .കുരങ്ങുകളുടെ വിഹാരകേന്ദ്രം ആണ് ഇവിടെ, ശ്രദ്ധിചില്ലെങ്കിൽ കൈയിൽ ഉള്ള ക്യാമറയും മൊബൈൽ ഫോണും ഇവ തട്ടി പറിക്കും . ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ മലയണ്ണാനുകളെയും കാണാം .മുളം കാടുകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വിവിധ വന്മരങ്ങളും കുറ്റിചെടികളും പാറകൂട്ടങ്ങളും നയനാനന്ദകരമണ്.

അതിരപ്പിള്ളിക്കും വഴച്ചാലിനും ഇടയിൽ റോഡിനു അഭിമുഖമായി ചർപ്പ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം കാണാം . ഇത് അതിരപ്പിള്ളിയെ അപേക്ഷിച് ചെറുത് ആണ്.വേനലിൽ വെള്ളം വറ്റാറുണ്ട് , പക്ഷേ വേനൽമഴയെ തുടർന്ന് വെള്ളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

അൽപസമയം അവിടെ ചിലവഴിച്ച ശേഷം വഴചാലിലെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു10 നിമിഷം വേണ്ടിവന്നു അവിടെ എത്തിച്ചേരാൻ , റോഡിനു വീതി കുറഞ്ഞുവന്നു. ഇടതു വശത്ത് കുന്നും വലതുവശത്ത് അഗാതമായ പുഴയും ആണ് കുടാതെ വന്യമായ കടും പിന്നെ വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളുടെ സഞ്ചാര മേഖല എന്നബോർഡുകളും യാത്രക്ക് ചെറിയ ഭീതി ഉളവാക്കി . മികച്ച റോഡ്‌ നിർമാണവും സ്റ്റീൽ വേലിയും സുരക്ഷിത യാത്രക്ക് മികവു കുട്ടുന്നുണ്ട് .

കടുത്ത വേനലിൽ പോലും എയർ കണ്ടിഷൻ ചെയ്ത ഹാൾ പോലെ ആണ് ഇവിടെ. വഴച്ചലിൽ പ്രവേശി ക്കുനതിനും അതിരപ്പിള്ളിയിൽ പ്രവേശി ക്കുനതിനും ഒരു പാസ്‌ മതി.അത് ഗേറ്റിൽ കാണിച്ചു വാഴച്ചാൽ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിലെക്കുള്ള പാതയിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചു . ഇവിടം പാർക്ക്‌ ആണ്. വൻ മരങ്ങളും ചെറിയ അരുവികളും പുന്തോട്ടങ്ങളും കുട്ടികൾക്ക് കളിക്കാനുള്ള ഉഞ്ഞാലുകളും ഉണ്ട് .കുടാതെ വിശ്രമ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്. ഉച്ചക്കുപോലും കുളിരുള്ള കാലാവസ്ഥ ആണ് .

ഇവിടം പിന്നിട്ട് വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം ദ്രിശ്യമകുന്ന ഇടത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തി . 50 മീറ്ററോളം നീളത്തിൽ ചെരിഞ്ഞ് അടുക്കും ചിട്ടയും ഇല്ലാതെ ഉയർന്നും താഴ്ന്നും കിടക്കുന്ന പാറയിലുടെ വെള്ളം പതഞ്ഞ് ഉയർന്നും താഴ്ന്നും ഒഴുകുന്നു . നിമിഷങ്ങളോളം നമ്മളുടെ മനസ്സിനെയും മിഴികളെയും സ്വർഗലോകത്തിലേക്കു പിടിച്ചുയർത്തുന്ന സൌമ്യമായ കാഴ്ച.

നദിയിൽ വെള്ളം കുറവാണെങ്കിലും നല്ല അടിയൊഴുക്ക് ഉണ്ട്.കുടാതെ പാറകളിലെ വഴുക്കലും അപകടം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു .അതുകൊണ്ട് നദിയിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം തിളങ്ങുന്ന സ്റ്റീൽ കൊണ്ടും കോണ്‍ഗ്രീട്ടിൽ മുള പോലെ നിർമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വേലി കൊണ്ട് നിയന്ദ്രിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.ആവശ്യത്തിനു ഗാർഡുകളും ഉണ്ട് . എകദേശം ഒരു മണിക്കൂർ അവിടെ ചിലവഴിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം അതിരപ്പിള്ളിയില്ലേക്ക് നിറഞ്ഞ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി.

നല്ല തിരക്കുള്ളതിനാൽ പാർക്കിംഗ് അൽപം ദൂരെ ആണ് ചെയ്തത്. ഇവിടെ നിറയെ ഹൊട്ടെലുകലും അലങ്കാര വസ്തുക്കളും കളിപാട്ടങ്ങളും ലഭിക്കും. അടുത്ത് തന്നെ പെട്രോൾ സ്റ്റേഷനും ഉണ്ട്.പെട്രോൾ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ എയർ നിറക്കാനുള്ള സൌകര്യവും ഉണ്ട് .

ഇവിടത്തെ ഗേറ്റിൽ ടിക്കറ്റ്‌ കാണിച്ചു, കാടിനുള്ളിലുടെ ഏകദേശം 1 കിലോമിറ്റർ നടക്കണം വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിൽ എത്താൻ .വഴി കല്ലുപാകി വൃത്തിയായി പരിപലിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. വഴിയിൽ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങരുത് എന്നുള്ള മുന്നറിയിപ്പും മുന്പ് ഇവിടെ അപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ടവരുടെ എണ്ണവും വിവരിക്കുനുണ്ട് .പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്‌ മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ കുറക്കാനുള്ള നിർദേശങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്.കുരങ്ങന്മാർ കള്ളന്മാരെ പോലെ ചുറ്റും ഉണ്ട്,തരം കിട്ടിയാൽ കയിൽ ഉള്ളത് തട്ടിപറിക്കും അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഒരു വടി എടുത്തു കൈയിൽ പിടിച്ചു.

വിസ്താരമായി ശാന്തമായി ഒഴുകുന്ന നദിയാണ് പിന്നീട് കണ്ടത്. അൽപം കൂടി മുന്നോട്ടു പോയപ്പോൾ നദിയിലേക്ക് ചെരിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്ന വിസ്താരമായ പാറയും വലതുവശത്തായി അഗാതതയിലേക്ക് പതിക്കുന്ന വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടവും ദ്രിശ്യമായി.

തിരിച്ചിറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ എന്തോ പ്രത്യേകമായ അനുഭൂതി നഷ്ടമായത് പോലെ തോണി എന്നാലും വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യം മനസ്സിൽ നിറഞ്ഞു നില്ക്കുന്നു . പിന്നീടു ഇറങ്ങിയ കുന്നു കഷ്ടപെട്ട് കയറി മുകളില 15 നിമിഷം വിശ്രമിച്ചു വിയര്പ്പ് മാറ്റി തിരിച്ചു.

ഡിസംബർ 2014 അവധിക്ക് പോയത് ഒരേ ഒരു ലക്‌ഷ്യം മാത്രം നിറവേറ്റുനതിനയിരുന്നു. 22 ദിവസത്തെ ലീവിൽ 17 മത്തെ ദിവസം ആയി, എന്റെ തലവര കൊണ്ടും ചില ബഹ്യൻമാരുടെ അവസോരിചതമായ ഇടപെടലുകൾ കാരണം നമ്മടെ കഥ കടലില്നിന്നും ഉപ്പുകല്ല് എടുക്കാൻ പോയതു പോലെ ആയീ. എല്ലവിടെയും സംഭവം ഉണ്ട് എന്നാൽ നമ്മുക്ക് വേണ്ടത് കിട്ടാനും ഇല്ല.

അങ്ങനെ ഡിസംബർ 15 അതിരാവിലെ 9 മണിക്ക് നായയുടെ സുപ്രഭാതവും കേട്ട് ഫാനിനെ കണി കണ്ടു ജനാലയിലുടെ രണ്ടാം കണിക്കു നോക്കി. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഒന്നും കണ്ണിൽ തടഞ്ഞില്ല. ഉറങ്ങാൻ നേരം വളരെ മന്യമായീ കിടന്നിരുന്ന ബെഡ്ഷീറ്റും, മുണ്ടും, പുതപ്പും വെളുപ്പിന് നോക്കുമ്പോൾ സദാചാര വിരുദ്ധമായി കിടക്കുകയാണ് . ഏതായാലും നമ്മടെ ഏരിയയിൽ എല്ലാവർക്കും ജോലി ഉള്ളതിനാൽ സദാചാര പോലീസിനെ പേടിക്കണ്ട. അങ്ങനെ സമാധാന പൂർവ്വം മുണ്ട് മാത്രം എടുത്തു.

അടുക്കളയിലെയും,പറമ്പിലെയും,കോഴികളുടെയും,പശുവിന്റെയും,നായയുടെയും കെയർടെക്കിങ്ങിലാണ് അമ്മ. പണ്ടേ വീട്ടിൽ എടുത്തു കഴിക്കുന്ന ശീലം ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ "അമ്മെ, ചായ" എന്ന് വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു , മറുപടിക്ക് കത്ത് നില്കാതെ വരാന്തയിലേക്ക്‌ സ്വയം ആഗമസ്തനയി. പാർലമെന്റിലെ ഘടക കക്ഷികളെ പോലെ പത്രം, വരാന്തയിലും കസേരക്ക് അടിയിലും,പടിക്ക് പുറത്തുമായി ചിതറി കിടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. എല്ലാം വലിച്ചു വരി എടുത്തു ഒരുവിധം ഷേപ്പ് ആക്കി വായന തുടങ്ങി.

എപ്പഴോ അമ്മ ചായ കൊണ്ട് വന്നു. ഒബാമയെക്കളും തിരക്കാണ് അതുകൊണ്ട് ഇന്ന് "ആരെ കാണാനാ പോകണ്നത്" എന്ന ചോദ്യം ഉണ്ടായില്ല. പ്രതേകിച്ചു പരിപാടി ഒനും ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ പുതുതായി വാങ്ങിയ ബൈക്കും നോക്കി ഇരുന്നു. ദിവ്യ ഗർഭം പോലെ 8 മാസം ബുക്ക്‌ ചെയ്ത് കാത്തിരുന്നു കിട്ടിയത് ആണ് .ഇതുവരെ ഒരു ഉല്ലാസയാത്ര അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല.

അങ്ങനെ ബാർ പുട്ട്യപ്പോൾ കേരള ഗജനാവ് കലിയയതു പോലെ തികച്ചും ശൂന്യമായ മനസ്സുമായി നന്നായി പല്ല് തേച്ചു കുളിച്ചു . ശേഷം നമ്മടെ ഓൾഡ്‌ ജെനെരെഷന്റെ ദേശിയ ആഹാരമായ കഞ്ഞിയും കടലയും ഉണക്കമീനും കഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ദിന പ്ലാനിംഗ് തലയിൽ പൊട്ടിമുളച്ചു. അതിരപ്പള്ളി വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം കാണാം, കുറച്ചു ഫോട്ടോസും എടുക്കാം . എന്നാലും പൂർണ തൃപ്തി ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ അമ്മയോട് എവിടെക്കാണ്‌ പോകനത് എന്ന് മാത്രം പറഞ്ഞില്ല. ചിലപ്പോ ലേറ്റ് ആകും എന്ന് മാത്രം സൂചിപിച്ചു.

ഏകദേശം 10.00 യോടെ ക്യാമറയും കളസവും എടുത്തു ഹെൽമെറ്റും വെച്ച് വണ്ടി നമ്മടെ സ്ഥലമായ കോടാലിയിൽ നിന്നും വെള്ളികുളങ്ങര,കോര്മല,ചയ്പന്കുഴി വഴി അതിരപ്പള്ളി റുട്ടിലെ വെറ്റില പാറയിൽ എത്തി. മലയോര കർഷക പ്രദേശമായ ഇത്രയും ദൂരം 24 കിലോമീടരോളം വരും റോഡിന്റെ ഇരുവശവും റബ്ബറും,തെങ്ങും കവുങ്ങുകളും നിറഞ്ഞു നില്കുന്നു.

അതിരപ്പള്ളിയിലെക്കുള്ള മെയിൻ റോഡ്‌ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ പണി കഴിപിചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൃത്യമായി ലൈനുകളും ബോർഡുകളും ഉണ്ട്. റോഡിനു ഒരു ഭാഗത്ത് എണ്ണ പനകളുടെ കൃഷി ആണ്. അടുത്ത് തന്നെ ഒരു ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ പള്ളിയുടെ മനോഹരമായ കപ്പേള കണ്ടു.

കുറച്ചു സമയത്തെ യാത്രക്ക് ശേഷം വനപ്രദേശം ദ്രിശ്യമായി. വലതു വശത്തെ എണ്ണ പന തോട്ടത്തിലുടെ ഒഴുകുന്ന പുഴ ആരുടെയും മനം കവരുന്ന ദ്രിശ്യ ഭംഗി ഉള്ളതാണ് . പക്ഷെ ഡ്രൈവിങ്ങിനിടയിൽ അതിന്റെ ഭംഗി അസ്വതികുനത് അപകടത്തിനു കാരണം ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ ഇടയുണ്ട്.റോഡ്‌ വളരെ വളവുകളും തിരിവുകളും ഉള്ളതാണ്.

20 നിമിഷത്തെ യാത്രക്ക് ശേഷം അതിരപ്പിള്ളി വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിന്റെ വിദൂര ദ്രിശ്യം നയനതിനു ഉന്മേഷം പകർന്നു. അതിരപ്പിള്ളി,വാഴച്ചാൽ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടങ്ങൾ വളരെ അടുത്താണ് ഇടയിൽ ചെറിയ ചർപ്പ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടവും ഉണ്ട്. അതിരപ്പിള്ളി വാഴച്ചാൽ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവേസിക്കുനതിനു പൊതുവായ ഫീസ്‌ നൽകണം.

മുൻപ് പല തവണ സന്ദർസിചിട്ടുല്ലതുകൊണ്ടും വെള്ളം കുറവായതിനാലും അവിടെ ഇറങ്ങാൻ തോന്നിയില്ല. അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ പ്ലാൻ 2 വർക്ക്‌ ചെയ്തു . 80 കിലോമീറ്റർ യാത്ര ചെയ്ത് മലക്കപാറ വഴി വാൽപാറയിലെ ചായ തോട്ടങ്ങൾ, ഹിൽ സ്റ്റേഷൻ കാണാം. സാഹസികമായ തീരുമായിരുന്നു അത്.

വാഴച്ചാൽ മുതൽ മലക്കപാറ വരെ 60 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഉണ്ട് . കൊടും വനവും മനുഷ്യവാസം ഇല്ല ,ആനകളും മറ്റു മൃഗങ്ങളും പകൽ പോലും റോഡിൽ കാണാം.എന്തെങ്കിലും അപകടം പറ്റിയാൽ കാര്യം പോക്കാണ്.പക്ഷെ റോഡ്‌ നല്ലതാണു . വണ്ടിയിൽ ആവശ്യത്തിനു പെട്രോൾ നിറച്ചു യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി . അതിരപ്പിള്ളി കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ BSNL ഫോണിനു മാത്രമേ റേഞ്ച് ഉള്ളൂ. അതിനാൽ എനിക്ക് ആരെയും അറിയിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയില്ല.എന്തെങ്കിലും അപകടം പറ്റിയാൽ ആര്ക്കും എന്നെ കുറിച്ച് വിവരം കിട്ടുവാൻ പ്രയാസകരമാണ്. എന്നാലും പുതിയ വണ്ടിയിൽ ഉള്ള ആത്മവിശ്വാസവും യാത്രയോടുള്ള ആസക്തിയും എന്നെ മുന്നോട്ടു തന്നെ നയിച്ചു.

വാഴച്ചാൽ ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റിൽ എന്റെ വണ്ടി നമ്പറും മറ്റു വിവരങ്ങളും നൽകി . ഫോറെസ്റ്റ് ഓഫീസർ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു പോകണമെന്നുള്ള മുന്നറിയിപ്പും തന്നു . മുൻപ് പല തവണ മറ്റു വനമേഖലകളിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്തു പരിച്ചയമുല്ലതിനാൽ അത്രയ്ക്ക് ഭയം തോണിയില്ല എന്നാൽ ഉള്ളിൽ ചെറിയ ഭീതി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഏകാനയുള്ള യാത്ര ആണ് എനിക്കോ വണ്ടിക്കോ എന്തെങ്കിലും സംഭവിച്ചാൽ അറിയിക്കാൻ പോലും ഒരു മാർഗം ഇല്ല.

വാഴച്ചാൽ ഗേറ്റ് കഴിഞ്ഞു 2 കിലോമിറ്റർ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴേക്കും വനം അതി ഭീഗരം ആയി തോണി തുടങ്ങി. മൃഗങ്ങൾ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന മേഖല എന്നുള്ള ബോർഡുകൾ വഴിയിൽ തുടർച്ചയായി പുതിയതും പഴയതുമായ അനപിണ്ടങ്ങൾ,ചില സമയത്ത് ആനയുടെ മണവും അനുഭവപെട്ടു.

ചില സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ആദിവാസികൾ നടന്നുവരുനത് കാണാമായിരുന്നു അവരോടു അപകടം വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് തിരക്കി കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു യാത്ര .റോഡ്‌ നല്ലതും എന്നാൽ കൊടും വളവുകളും തിരിവുകളും നിറഞ്ഞതാണ്‌ . ഓരോ വളവിലും അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായത് പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചാണ് വണ്ടി ഓടിക്കുനത് . വേഗത കുറക്കുനതാണ് നല്ലത് എന്ന് തോണി , അത്രക്കും രൂക്ഷമായ ആനയുടെ മണം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു . കുടാതെ ഇരുവസവും ആനയുടെ ഭക്ഷണമായ ഇല്ലികാടുകൾ.

കുറച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ സാഹചര്യവുമായി മനസ്സ് പോരുത്തപെട്ടു. ഭയവും ഭീതിയും മാറി. യാത്ര അസ്വതിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. നാട്ടുച്ചക്കുപോലും പ്രകാശം ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് വരൻ പ്രയസപെടുന്ന വനം. കുറ്റൻ മരങ്ങൾ,വഴിയുടെ ഇരുവസവും ഇലകൾ മെത്ത പോലെ കിടക്കുന്നു. കുരങ്ങന്മാരും പക്ഷികളും യഥേഷ്ടം വിഹരിക്കുന്നു. നല്ല കുളിര്മയുള്ള അന്തരീക്ഷം,ശുദ്ധമായ വായുവിന്റെ ഉന്മേഷം എല്ലാം ഒരു പ്രത്യേക നവോന്മേഷം പകരുന്നത് ആയിരുന്നു.

കൂട്ടമായി വരുന്ന ബൈക്ക് രൈടെർ ഇവടെ സ്ഥിരമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ്‌ . ഏകദേശം 50 കിലോമിറ്റർ കഴിയുമ്പോൾ മലക്കപാറ പോലിസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ പരിധി ആകും.കുറച്ചു കൂടെ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വനം അവസാനിച്ചു കാപ്പി തോട്ടങ്ങൾ ആരംഭിക്കുക ആയി . ഇവിടെ നിറയെ കുന്നുകളാണ് ഹോറെലുകളും ഉണ്ട് . കുടുതലും തമിഴ് ഭാഷ സംസരികുനവർ. എന്നാലും മലയാളം എല്ലാവർക്കും അറിയാം

മലക്കപാറയിൽ രണ്ടു ചെക്ക്‌ പോസ്റ്റുകൾ ഉണ്ട് ഒന്ന് കേരളത്തിന്റെയും മറ്റൊന്ന് തമിഴ്നാടിന്റെയും . വാഴച്ചാൽ ചെക്ക്‌ പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്നും തന്ന സ്ലിപ് മലക്കപാറയിലെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ചെക്ക്‌ പോസ്റ്റിൽ കൊടുത്തു. അതിരപ്പള്ളി വഴി തിരിച്ചു വരേണ്ടവർ 3 മണിക്ക് മുൻപ് മലക്കപാറ ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റ് കടക്കണം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പ്രവേസനം കിട്ടില്ല. ശേഷം 25 കിലോമിറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള വല്പാറൈയിലേക്ക് , ചായ തോട്ടങ്ങളാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. മലക്കപാറയിൽ നുന്നും യാത്ര ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ കാപ്പി തോട്ടങ്ങൾ വളരെ കുറച്ചു ദുരതെക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് ഉള്ളത് ശേഷം ചായ തോട്ടങ്ങളാണ്.വല്പാറൈ പോകുന്ന വഴിയിൽ ഷോളയാർ ഡാമും കണ്ടു. ഇതിന്റെ വശത്ത് കുടെയുള്ള റോഡ്‌ ഡാമിന്റെ വിവധ ദ്രിശ്യങ്ങൾ സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നു .

വീണ്ടും ഞാൻ യാത്ര തുടർന്നു. ചുറ്റും ചായ തോട്ടങ്ങളുടെ കുന്നുകൾ. ഏകദേശം 2 മണി ആയിരിക്കുന്നു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. യാത്ര ചെയ്യാനുള്ള ദൂരം ആലോചികുമ്പോൾ ഓരോ നിമിഷവും വിലപ്പെട്ടത് അന്ന് എന്ന് തോണി. ഞാൻ എവിടെ അന്നെന് ആര്ക്കും അറിയില്ല എന്ന കാരണവും നേരത്തെ തിരിക്കാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു . ഫോണിൽ റേഞ്ച് വന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഏതയാലും ഒരു ചായും കുടിച്ചു തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ സഹകരണതോടെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന കടയിൽ നിന്നും കുറച്ചു ചായ പൊടിയും വാങ്ങി വല്പാറൈ യാത്ര തുടർന്നു .

ചുറ്റും കണ്ണെത്താത്ത ദൂരത്തോളം കുന്നുകളും നിറയെ ചായ തോട്ടങ്ങളും മാത്രം. കരടികളും ആനകളും പുലികളും കാട്ടുപോത്തുകളും കട്ടുപന്നികളും ഇവിടെ സാധാരണമാണ്.ഇളം പച്ച നിറത്തിലുള്ള ചായ തോട്ടങ്ങളിൽ വെയിൽ അടിക്കുമ്പോൾ അസാധാരണമായ സൌന്ദര്യം ഇവിടേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയെ കുടുതൽ അകര്ഷകമാക്കുന്നു .രണ്ടു കുന്നുകൾ കൂടി പിന്നിട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ജനങ്ങൾ താമസിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളും തേയില ഫാക്ടറികളും കണ്ടു. വിവധ കുന്നുകളിൽ ചിതറി കിടക്കുന്ന വീടുകൾ. ജനങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ എങ്ങനെ അണോവോ സഞ്ചരിക്കുനത് വാഹനങ്ങൾ വളരെ കുറവാണു റോഡുകൾ മലകളെ ചുറ്റിയാണ്‌ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുനത്.

വല്പാറൈ പട്ടണം വലുത് അല്ലെങ്കിലും ചെറുത് എന്ന് പറയാൻ ആകില്ല .ഇവിടെ ചെറിയ താമസ സൗകര്യം ലഭ്യമാണ്. തമിഴ്നാട്‌ ബസ്‌ സർവീസ് ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ട് .കേരളത്തിലെ ചാലക്കുടിയിൽ നിന്നും ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് ബസ്‌ ഉണ്ട്.അകലെ നിന്നും നോക്കുമ്പോൾ കുനിന്മേലുള്ള വല്പാറൈ പട്ടണം കാണാൻ ഭംഗി ഉണ്ട്.പൊള്ളാച്ചിയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് സാധനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് വരുനത്.

വല്പാറൈയിൽ നിന്നും തിരിച്ചു പൊള്ളാച്ചി വഴി ആളിയാർ ഡാം കണ്ടിട്ട് പോകാൻ തിരുമാനിച്ചു.വല്പാറൈയിൽ വെച്ച് വഴി ചോദിച്ചു മനസ്സിലക്കുനതിനിടയിൽ പറഞ്ഞു തന്ന ആളുടെ സുഹൃത്ത് പൊള്ളാച്ചിയിലേക്ക് ഉണ്ടെന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ കൂടെ കൂട്ടി . സുരേഷ് എന്നാണ് പേര് പുള്ളികാരന് വല്പാറൈ സ്വദേശിയാണ്.അദ്ദേഹം വല്പാറൈയെ കുറിച്ചും കാണാനുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും പറഞ്ഞു തന്നു. ഏകദേശം 60 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഉണ്ട് വല്പാറൈയിൽ നിന്നും പൊള്ളാച്ചിയിലേക്ക് .40 ഹെയർപിൻ വളവുകളും. ആളിയാർ ഡാം കുടാതെ പവർ സ്റ്റേഷൻ മറ്റൂ മനോഹര സ്ടലങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും സ്ഥിരമായി വന്യ മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഇറങ്ങാരുള്ളതും പറഞ്ഞു.ആനകൾ .കരടികൾ,കാട്ടുപോത്തുകൾ കാട്ടുപന്നി കുരങ്ങുകൾ ഇവ സ്ഥിരമായി കാണപെടുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളും സൂചിപിച്ചു. നിറയെ തേയില കുന്നുകൾ ആയതിനാൽ ദുരെ ഉള്ള മൃഗങ്ങളെ കാണാനുള്ള സാധ്യത ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ഒനും കണ്ടില്ല. വഴിയുടെ സൈഡിൽ കട്ടുപന്നികളും സിംഹവലാൻ കുരങ്ങുകളും സ്വൈരവിഹാരം നടത്തുന്നു . ഫോറെസ്റ്റ് ഗാര്ഡ് ക്യാമറകൾ വെച്ചിട്ടുല്ലതിനാൽ അവയെ ആരും പിടികാറില്ല .

അവടത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ മലയെ "അക്ക മല" എന്നാണ് വിളിക്കപെടുന്നത്. ഉച്ചക്ക് പോലും കമ്പിളി ഡ്രസ്സ്‌ ധരിക്കണം അത്രയ്ക്ക് തണുപ്പാണ് . മുടൽ മഞ്ഞു കൈ കൊണ്ട് തൊടാം എന്ന ഉയരത്തിൽ ആണ് . തൊട്ടടുത്തുള്ള മലയുടെ ഉയർന്ന ഭാഗം മുടൽ മഞ്ഞു മൂലം കാണാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുനില്ല. കുറച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ വല്പാറൈ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ്‌ നിർമാണത്തിൽ മുൻകൈ എടുത്ത സായിപ്പിന്റെ പ്രതിമ കണ്ടു അവടെ തന്നെ നല്ലൊരു വ്യൂ പോയിന്റ് ഉണ്ട്.വല്പാറൈ നല്ല കാഴ്ച സമ്മാനിച്ചു. താഴേക്ക്‌ നോക്കിയാൽ അത്യഗാതമായ കൊക്ക ആണ്.

അവടെ നിന്നും യാത്ര തുടർന്നു തണുപ്പ് കാരണം പല്ലുകൾ കുട്ടി ഇടിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി 20 നിമിഷം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ചായകട കണ്ടു അവടെ നിന്നും ചായ കുടിച്ചു അല്പം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മറ്റൊരു വ്യൂ പോയന്റ് എത്തി മലകളുടെ മുകളില നിന്നും മറ്റു കുഞ്ഞു മലകളെ ഒരുമിച്ചു കാണാനുള്ള ഭയ്ഗ്യം ഉണ്ടായി. ഇവിടെ റോഡിനു നല്ല വീതി ഉണ്ട്. പിന്നെയും ഹെയർ പിന്നുകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞു ആളിയാർ ഡാമിന്റെ വ്യൂ പോയന്റിൽ എത്തി . ഒരു ഹയര്പിൻ വളവിലാണ് ഇത്. അടുത്ത 90 ഡിഗ്രീയിൽ ഉയര്ന് നിൽക്കുന്ന മലയാണ് .അവടെ വരയാടുകൾ ഒരു കുസലുമില്ലതെ നടക്കുന്നു.സുയിസൈഡ് പോയന്റും കൂടെ അത് .അവിടെ മതിലിൽ നാലു കുരങ്ങന്മാർ ഇരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു യാത്രകരുടെ ബാഗുകൾ പാക്കെറ്റുകൾ കാറിന്റെ ചില്ലിലൂടെ ഉള്ളിലുള്ള സാധങ്ങൾ വരെ ഇവ കൈക്കലാക്കും .ബൈക്കിൽ വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ബാഗിന്റെ സിബ്ബ് വരെ ഇവ തുറന്നു സാധനങ്ങൾ എടുക്കും. ഇവയെ അകറ്റി നിർത്താൻ ഒരു വടി നിര്ബന്ധമായും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം, ബൈക്ക് പാർക്ക്‌ ചെയ്ത് തിരിഞ്ഞതും ഒരു കുരങ്ങൻ അത് സ്വന്തമാക്കി. അവടെ നിന്നും ആളിയാർ ഡാമിന്റെ വിദൂര ദൃശ്യം ആസ്വദിച്ച ശേഷം തെഴെക്ക് യാത്ര തിരിച്ചു . 4 നിര് പിൻ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മുകളിലേക്ക് നോക്കി അപ്പോഴാണ് അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഉയരത്തില നിന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ വന്നത് എന്ന് മനസ്സിലയത്

ആളിയാർ ഡാമിലെക്കു പോകുന്നതിനു മുന്പായി ഒരു ചായും വടയും കഴിച്ചു.ക്യാമറക്കും രണ്ടു പേർക്കുമുള്ള പാസ്‌ എടുത്തു മനോഹരമായ പുന്തോട്ടവും ചെരുകുലങ്ങളും കടന്നു ഡാമിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു.ചുറ്റും മലമടക്കുകളാൽ വലയം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട നയനമനോഹര ദൃശ്യം.മുടൽമഞ്ഞിലൂടെ മലമടക്കുകളിളുടെ പ്രകാശം വരുനത് എത്ര നേരം നോക്കിനിന്നാലും മതിവരില്ല .

5.30 നു ശേഷം മനസില്ലാമനസ്സോടെ അവിടെ നിന്നും തിരിച്ചു. ഫോണ്‍ ഓണാക്കി റേഞ്ച് ഉണ്ട് . അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ കാൾ വന്നു ആരോടും പറയാതെ പോയതിനു കിട്ടേണ്ടത് കിട്ടി. കുടെയുള്ള സുഹൃത്തിനെ ഭാവഭേതം കാണിക്കാതെ ബൈക്ക് ഓടിച്ചു. പൊള്ളാച്ചി ബസ്‌ സ്റ്റാൻഡിൽ സുരേഷിനെ ഇറക്കിയിട്ട് മൊബൈൽ നമ്പറും കൈമാറി ത്രിശുരില്ലെക്ക് പാലക്കാടു വഴി യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി . അങ്ങനെ തുടർച്ചയായി 322 കിലോമിറെർ ബൈക്ക് ഓടിച്ചു 9 മണിയോട് കുടി വീട് എത്തി.

അവധി ആഘോഷം അങ്ങനെ അതിരപ്പിള്ളി മലക്കപാറ വലപറൈ ആളിയാർ ഡാം സന്ദർശനത്തോടെ ഒരുവിധം തൃപ്തികരമക്കി.

In Qatar Near Al Khore have very beautiful Island named Purple Island.The island`s three side is surrounded by mangroves and another side by sea.

The deteriorated hills and greenery will feel very different atmosphere compared to other areas of Qatar.

We gone by the help of GPS due to the absence of approach road to this location. But the way is not bad, a normal saloon vehicle is enough for travelling. From the road 1.5 km need to travel for reaching the entrance of Mangroves.

This is the way through mangrove to Purple Island. one mud road was constructed earlier but not now its broken for water flowing both side. We cannot able to go by vehicle to this island.

While going the water level was low but at night the level will increased near knee level. The walking through greenery feels relaxed mood.

Due to danger didn't tried to enter mangroves

Lot of birds and small fishes are common in here.

For walking here water and food is very necessary. The humid climate,walking,climbing in hills and bath in sea make us tired.

The trip was very worth for enjoying. The sunset view from hilltop bath in sea, all are outstanding. But night traveling to here is little difficult by no lights no safe building no roads. We have returned on night and three times gone wrong way.Need to care children.No safety guards or any security facility. In sea many rocks are very sharp edges. But it was very enjoying.

Dhanushkodi was a town/village at the southern tip of Rameswaram island, on the eastern coast of the Tamil Nadu state of India.Till 1964 this location was very developed especially for trading with Srilanka. From This location 29 km only to Srilanka. Dhanushkodi is connected with Rameswaram (Nearest City-18 Km Away) by railway through sea. In 1964 December cyclone effected here entire area was demolished. Railway Station,Post office,Hospital shops,houses everything has abandoned.

After government announced that this island is not feasible for human stay. So now having fisherman and tourists. Night stay is prohibited here. No electricity no good buildings. Nothing is here.

It is the present (2014) nature of of Dhanushkodi`s center point. Some huts of fishermans and merchants.and one old watch tower.It not allowed for tourists.

Security office. We cannot find hotels or good eatables. and here have small shops but price is very high.

From Ramaswaram i came by public bus hardly 20 km . Both side of the road is very beautiful seen. Beach also very neet and attractive. The sea wall are very attractive by its nature. Upto center point of dhanushkody any vehicle can use but for visiting the abandoned area (demolished area) we should chose special vehicles jeeps or minibus (above Pict).

I saw only this board pointing the places in Dhanushkodi . The adventure travelling through sand is very interesting. Vehicles dont have seat belts we need to hold the seats otherwise we cannot able to keep stable position.

in curves drivers will give special kind of horn for giving signal to other drivers

The travelling through sea shore given a outstanding feel.But the remembrance of 1800 people death by 1964 cyclone made little fear also.

This is is excavated old important trading place of qatar. In 18th century it was one of the important location for pearl trading.

This location is very near by Al Zubara fortress by the hot climate i cannot able to visit entire area of archaeological site.

Still the study is going we can find lot of foundation of old constructions here. the area is vast and walking through the sand is little bit tough by the hot climate.

Some rooms are very big and other rooms are very small

I could not able to any guide or description about these location from the site.

The old city of Al Zubara lies on the north-west coast of Qatar. This was a fortress used by militants.

On 22 June 2013, Al Zubara was named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO

Location: From Doha around 125 kilometer away. We traveled in saloon car. The road condition is good. From Al Shamal road we should take left turn from exit no 59. The board to Al zubara will give exact direction. after 85 km on Al Shamal Road we can find continuously Al zubara road Board so we will not face any confusion for road.From exot no 59 around 35 km having to reach fortress.

We can enjoy the beautiful view of deserts and dunes.

Parking facility is good. Around one km can drive in normal vehicles . For driving in Dunes and desert we required four wheel drive vehicles. The automobile service is ready in anytime at Beach. Peoples are enjoying here Swimming ,driving etc

The sea is after few meters getting deep so swimmers can enjoy much here.I saw lot of families are spending weekends here. preparing food,grill etc.

The most of the visitors are expatriates. So we have the chance to watch all peoples culture and different kind of enjoyments.

The beach is clean, people are not throwing packets and bottles. Also here feel very natural. Don't have constructions, man made obstacles every thing quite beautiful and making feel for enjoying. While walking through roads we should care the desert vehicles.

The view from top of the desert is very attractive. People are enjoyable. The wide view of seashore and industrial area will make our heart with cheers.

Food and eatable carrying from home is good.Also we should ensure sufficient quantity of drinking water availability.selection of evening visit may help us from sunlight and hot climate.

Many of the people are came here for adventure sports.The development in infrastructure and facilities for adventure sports will increase thew beauty and visitors in Sealine.

The Mahabalipuram is UNESCO Heritage site in South India. This Place is very famous for Group of Monuments. The monuments are mostly rock-cut and monolithic, and constitute the early stages of Dravidian architecture wherein Buddhist elements of design are prominently visible. They are constituted by cave temples, monolithic rathas (chariots), sculpted reliefs and structural temples. The pillars are of the Dravidian order. The sculptures are excellent examples of Pallava art.

This site is located near Chennai, India and 58 km towards Pondicherry. But better we should choose the direct air-conditioned Volvo services from Chennai Bus Stand. On the traveling we may trouble with city traffic but after feels a heart filling scene both sides. Salt field, beach everything is enjoyable.

I would like to introduce one good restaurant in Qatar for all keralites. This hotel i found by my colleague Mr. Suresh Kumar. Hotel is located in Barwa Village Qatar. My 30th day in Qatar Celebrated here. Anyway it was surprising.

This is in 7th building line in Barwa Village near Indian School. Night times here full filled with huge rush. At night times this hotel cannot able to accomodate all customers so they used to serve in vehicles.

Here all common kerala foods arranged to serve. Service also good. They have provide fresh hot food. Also here preparing all foods with Coconut Oil imported from Kerala.

The owner Mr. Latheef from Irinjalakuda, Thrissur and his son supporting in business. The restaurant workers were were well dressed and behaving like our family members.

I like to give all gratitude to my friend Mr. Suresh kumar to enjoy Thani Nadan food.

St Thomas mount is a hillock located in chennai-near air port , India

entrance of the St Thomas Mount. From here around 1 km have to walk for reaching Hill Top.

The way to the hill top is very clean and floored by bricks.

KUNJALI ROCK-THRISSUR

Kunjali Rock is a long and hilly nature big rock at Thrissur district Matathur panchayath Moonumuri Village.

How TO reach

In Kerala, Thrissur(16KM) -Eranakulam ( 62Km) Bus root Get down at Kodakara and catch Vellikulangara Bus get down Ombadhungal (7KM,Location Name). From here take an auto ricksha (Car Unavailable here) and travel to Kunjali Rock (3Km).

We have to buy water and other eatables from Ombadhungal,after we could not able to find any good shops. The quality of road 2.5 km is good after reach a canal side road, traveling through this road is a quality checking of our back bones.

Upto my visiting time this rock has not been developed as a tourist destination. Don't expect like a tourist destination so it feels perfect natural beauty.

The rock and road separated by a canal, water every time not making disturbances to visitors. But in crossing through canal is not at all safe and i cannot find any public road to approach Kunjali rock. Public's houses are constructed near by rock after canal, i chosen one over pass to a house and through private land i reached on this rock. when we are crossing the canal care about dogs.

Better we can carry umbrella and rubber sole gripped shoes for good walking on the rock.

The length of this rock is about 1 Km, average width is 70 meter and the height approximately 70 meter. The rock is ending in the Mountain. But we cannot go upto end, mines are operating here.

Cubbon Park is situated near Gandhi Nagar in Bangalore. The Cubbon Park, officially known as Sri. Chamarajendra Park, is an historic park, located in the heart of city in the Central Administrative Area. The park provides sylvan surroundings to the State Legislature building- the Vidhana Soudha, the High Court Buildings

Originally created in 1870. This public park was first named as “Meade’s Park” after Sir John Meade, the acting Commissioner of Mysore in 1870 and subsequently renamed as Cubbon Park after the longest serving commissioner of the time, Sir Mark Cubbon.

To commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar’s rule in Mysore State, in the year 1927, the park was again renamed as "Sri. Chamarajendra Park".

The landscaping in the park creatively integrates natural rock outcrops with thickets of trees, massive bamboos, with grassy expanse and flowerbeds and the monuments within its limits, regulated by the Horticulture Department of the Government of Karnataka.

The predominantly green area of the park has many motorable roads, and the well laid out walking paths running through the park are frequented by early morning walkers and the naturalists who study plants in the tranquil natural environment.

The Park is open to the public at all times but the roads are closed for traffic from 5 A.M to 8 A.M every day.

Lush greenery welcomes any visitor entering Cubbon Park through any of the approaches. Rich in plant wealth, many indigenous and exotic botanical species are found here.

Cubbon Park stands adorned with trees, flowerbeds and rolling lawns.

The part of the park developed on symmetric lines with terraces on either sides of the central promenade, which is the focal point from the Museum building to the central hall of the High Court, forms the formal gardens.

A number of beautiful tree avenues can be seen in the park. The avenue of Araucarias along with Canna beds on either sides of the road from the Library to Hudson circle is a beautiful view.
