Casi la practica totalidad de estas &lt;em&gt;faianças &lt;/em&gt;tiene una decoración monocroma en azul sobre un esmalte blanco que, aunque en ocasiones alcanza de 1 mm de espesura, tiene bastantes irregularidades que dejan ver las imperfecciones en la superficie de la pasta. Las piezas son en su mayoría platos y cuencos, decorados con algunos de los motivos más característicos de estas producciones portuguesas, como son las &lt;em&gt;rendas&lt;/em&gt; y &lt;em&gt;aranhões &lt;/em&gt;en los bordes de las piezas, los círculos concéntricos y los motivos vegetales y de animales en los fondos de los platos y cuencos. Más raros son los fragmentos que presentan una decoración en forma de figura humana. En estos trabajos fue identificado el cementerio privado de la Orden do Carmo, que funcionó desde el año 1801 hasta el año 1869. El cementerio tiene dos grandes momentos. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align=&quot;justify&quot;&gt;El primero entre 1801 y, al menos, 1834, está formado por sepulturas con orientación Norte Sur, de 2 metros de largo por 50 cm de ancho y 2 metros de profundidad, en las que hay entre 5 y 6 niveles de enterramiento. Las sepulturas se sitúan a los dos lados de una calzada que estructura el cementerio. Este primer momento se puede dividir aún en dos. Uno que va desde 1801 hasta 1832, en el que las sepulturas suelen ser individuales y en ataudes y otro, datable entre 1832 y 1834, en el que las inhumaciones son colectivas, teniendo entre 2 y 7 cuerpos enterrados sin ataúd. Por contra, la estratigrafía encontrada en la intervención arqueológica realizada en el número 4 de la calle Mouzinho de Alburquerque de la ciudad de Miranda do Douro, permite llegar a una cronología del siglo XVII. Se trata de un conjunto de unidades estratigráficas, depositadas con el objetivo de rellenar y sellar un sótano, en las que se encuentran, entre otros, materiales como las lozas talaveranas de la serie tricolor de cenefa oriental o la &quot;faiança&quot; portuguesa del siglo XVII procedente de centros productores de Coimbra.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align=&quot;justify&quot;&gt;Los materiales que presentamos aquí corresponden a dos platos dotados con cenefa formada por semicírculos y por puntos, que en un caso rellenan el centro de la pieza, y a dos pequeños cuencos con decoración vegetal en el centro de la pieza. Se trata de una serie de materiales depositados en un contexto del siglo XIII.&lt;br /&gt;En primer lugar destaca la presencia, habitual en el Norte de Portugal, de cerámica de Braga (del tipo conocido como Nossa Senhora do Leite) en forma de picheles con decoraciones incisas sobre una pasta dura y de apenas 1 mm de espesor, procedente de centros productores cercanos a la ciudad de Braga.&lt;br /&gt;En segundo lugar se presenta un tipo de vidriado que aparece en la ciudad de Oporto con cierta frecuencia aunque siempre en muy pequeñas cantidades en los niveles del siglo XIII.
