Roxas Camp Says Duterte May Have Mistaken Roxas for Marcos' Academic Credentials at Oxford and Wharton where it is being questioned

The allies of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas reacted with incredulity at Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s claim that indeed Mar Roxas is not an Economics graduate of Wharton School.

Team Daang Matuwid coalition spsokeperson and Akbayan Partylist Representtive Barry Gutierrez said that Roxas’ school credentials are very well documented and that he was shocked that anyone like Duterte would make such issue.

According to the good representative, Duterte is clearly confused about reality. It was just recently that Roxas questioned the peace and order of Davao City saying it was a myth.

In the local television show from Davao, Duterte reiterated that Roxas’ name is not included in the list of people who graduated from the four or five year course of Economics in Wharton School. Duterte even challenged Roxas to show his graduation picture with his mother.

Gutierrez challenged Duterte

Gutierrez even called Duterte’s claim a mere bluff and made a counter-challenge. He challenges Duterte to produce names of the people he claimed he had killed in the past once Roxas produces his graduation photo.

Roxas’ school credentials

Manual “Mar” Roxas II is a former investment banker in New York before he entered politics and graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.

In fact, an official university archive website included Roxas in the school’s notable alumni which served the foreign government.

QC Trial Court Conducts Ocular Inspection inside Iglesia Ni Cristo Compound

The Quezon City court inspected the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) compound in Tandang Sora, Quezon City earlier today December 15, 2015 at around 10 o’clock in the morning.

The inspection was issued and ordered by the Regional Trial Court Branch 222 to determine the total number and definite identity of individuals staying and visiting the said compound.

The Quezon City court was assisted by police and barangay authorities headed by the court sheriff in conducting the ocular inspection of the famous Manalo residence.

It was noted that last October, the camp of INC officials filed for a petition for injuction barring unknown visitors from getting inside their property.

The ocular inspection only lasted for about an hour saying they will commence the inspection after two hours. Further, no media interviews were conducted. According to sources, the office of the sheriff will submit a written report within seven working days or until the ocular inspection is finally over.

The petition for injunction barring visitors was filed by the INC last October due to alleged unknown visitors going in and out of the property.

Although last episode of GMA's Sunday Pinasaya was very much filled with laughter and happiness, not everybody knows what happened behind the stage.

Julie Anne San Jose is a mainstay in the Sunday variety show while Maine Mendoza also known as Yaya Dub in Eat Bulaga's Kalye Serye.

For the information of everyone, during a tweet on December 7, 2015, a certain follower of the Sunday's director, Rich Ilustre tweeted the good director and asked if the girlfriend of Alden Richards in real life was Julie Anne. Right then and there, the director replied "yup".

Unfortunately after realizing that the question was meant to be as the "girlfriend" of Alden instead of what he presumed to be only "friend", he immediately deleted the tweet reply.

The good director admitted that he was a bit sleepy at the time he replied to the tweet and apologizes for the mistake which caused the AlDub fans to go wild at the social media sites.

Even though the tweet was deleted, fans have already shared it to thousands of followers and friends. AlDub fans have gone raging over social media and bashed actress Julie Anne.

Meanwhile during the Sunday episode, at the backstage Maine secretly went over to Julie Anne and hugged her while apologizing for the bashing that she received from the AlDub Nation.

The two were seen crying during the moment and photos and videos were not taken in respect of the two ladies.

USS Tucson Submarine from USA docks in Subic Bay

According to the US Embassy, the most powerful nation in the west, the United States of America docked its submarine in Subic Bay, Philippines as part of the Indo-Asia-Pacific deployment activities.

The submarine is named as the USS Tucson (SSN 70) is known to be a Los Angeles-class fast track underwater vehicle and the 59^th of its class to be created.

US authorities described the USS Tucson as “one of the stealthiest and most advanced submarines in the world”. Further, it is among the 20 Los Angeles-class speedy submarines to go through improvement.

The fast craft is 360 feet in length that can accommodate up to 150 crew members. It has twelve vertical launch tubes that house the Tomahawk cruise missiles and four torpedo tubes.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) collaborated with two government agencies, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to administer the applicants examinations to be held on March 13, 2016.

Who are Qualified

The fire and penology officer examinations will be open to both incumbent and former personnel of the BFP and the BJMP.

Applicants must:

be Filipino citizens;
have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of learning;
be physically and mentally fit;
be of good moral character;
have not been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude;
and have not been dishonorably discharged from military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government.*

What if I am not an incumbent employee of either BFP and BJMP?

If you are a private person but with interest in taking the examinations, you are still qualified. The CSC remained clear about the height requirements together with other qualifications listed above.

For the Fire Officer examination, you must be 21 to 35 years of age at the time of filing of applications with no height requirement needed. As for the Penology Officer examination, you must be 21 to 30 years of age with a height of 5'4" for male and 5'2" for female applicants.

Where to Apply?
Applicants must submit their application in person at the CSC Regional Office or nearby CSC Field offices, where you intend to take the examination. Please be reminded that a P700 examination fee will be collected.

If you pass the examination, you are granted the Eligibility for either Fire Officer or Penology Officer. Both eligibilities are considered second level by the CSC. This makes you qualified for second level rank positions in the BFP and BJMP offices. Last day of filing of applications for fire and penology officer examinations will be on January 22, 2016.

5 people hurt in grenade blast in NorthCot, PH

Five people injured in a grenade explosion in North Cotabato, Philippines.

Five people are reportedly hurt in a grenade blast in Barangay Poblacion in Matalam, North Cotabato, Philippines last Friday, police sources said on Monday, December 7, 2015.

The five victims were named as Sharon Diaz, Alias Dilangalen, Danjan Alam, Macmod Canacan and Geraldo Peralta, Jr. Police officials say the grudge was due to personal motives or what they call as “rido”.

According to Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum of the North Cotabato Provincial Police Director, the real target was supposedly a tricycle driver. It so happened that the victim is also a relative of the suspect in the recent shooting incident two weeks ago in the same location in Matalam.

Although the police officials were able to arrest the suspect in the shooting incident, both families still opted to just settle the rift between them through the council of elders.

The grenade explosion was believed to be retaliation on the shooting incident that happened two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, police authorities are still investigating the blast incident.
