It's been now 3 months since we got that first taste of Play Station 4 and since Microsoft announced the controversial XBOX One. For once, Play Station learned from it mistakes gearing a presentation to warm up the gamer's interests.
Play Station 3 under the slogan "it just does it all" was introduced to us as an entertainment machine that plays games. The presentation of Play Station 4 minus the console was geared to attract us toward the console. It will come with one controller, one headset, Playstation Move dual camera and Mic. All that sound sweet, but there's a new way of playing that worries us those who grew playing the NES, the old school gamers, and specially those parents of the PS3, XBOX 360 and WII generation and is matter of safety and privacy.

PRIVACY CONCERNS

For Once, playstation was the first to unveil a player's profile linked to Facebook together with full name and picture. Let's see a real life event. Marty004872 has connected his PS4 account to Marty Stewart. He jumps into a Call of Duty Ghosts lobby and get into a shouting match with some guy. This some guy quit the game and jump to the computer and make a search on Marty Stewart a 17yo man. Unfortunately Marty has his father in Facebook. The angry gamer now googles George Stewart and returns an address for the subject. Marty is unaware he has a target on his head.
The event above doesn't represent a real family but may be a real event in the future. Guys like Marty and myself have created fancy names to hide our real self. Connecting our real names to our gamer tags is not the way to go. Let's add more to this issue. I posted a video on Youtube then onto my facebook a MW3 sniping massacre 10 Kills no death. While on YouTUBE I received views and likes, on Facebook it was ignored. NOT EVERYBODY IN FACEBOOK CARES WHAT I DO IN GAMING.
So what should Play Station do? Let's no deny that the new player profile looks futuristic and they should keep it. However, there has to be a little tweek done to the player's profile. When the player decide to connect Facebook, first the player should create a page for the gamer tag. In this case Marty004872 should create a Facebook page under the same name. PS4 should make a tweak to the software, add a drop box where would ask "Connect as:" now Mr Stewart can pick to connect the page to PS4 and still maintain his privacy. Would be nice if Sony worked with Facebook about socializing. Let's say Marty004872 add Xcalibur007828 to his Playstation friends, the next time Marty logs in to the facebook page for Marty00472, Xcalibur007828 should appear as suggested pages to follow. Just like the pages we follow. When Marty Stewart is connected as Marty Stewart this page is not suggested but is suggested when he's Marty00472. I think is a great way to keep gamers connected, busy looking at friends' achievements and postings. OF COURSE that the current feature of showing the Facebook friends who play certain games and are on Facebook should port toward PS4. Currently if you play Black Ops 2 or Modern Warfare 3 you can see who in facebook plays the game. It would only show you the person's gamer tag.

In this world of high traffic of information is good to know that there are many choices out there. However, we have to be very careful with what we get into.

This month I went through the unfortunate event of losing my internet connection entirely. I was looking for other options and this company definitely called my attention. Their modem is super small which allow me to hold it in one hand and nobody even notice that I'm carrying an internet modem with me. Something else that called my attention was the fact that it was $49.99. Ok I understand, it's somewhat regular to expensive price for internet in the USA. In the case of Clear Wireless it was expensive. At this stage of Technology DSL the fastest internet introduced after the death of 56KB/s Dial up is currently 14.99/mo to 30.00 a month. It's still pretty decent speed compared to some services. So what can you expect of $49.99? the best internet possible.

I like to always look at all sides of stuff and so let's take a look at the good and the bad of having Clear Wireless internet services.
PROS

The modem is super small it fits perfectly on pockets, bag or similar packaging
Ease of acquisition. I got mine out of the supermarket down the street, it available almost everywhere you can pretty much shop it with your bread. Watch out, don't eat it with your bread.
Ease to sign up I didn't even show an ID
No contract so I can quit any time which I actually did
Take it on the road. Since it uses 4G signal, this device can be taken on the road, let's say you have low data plan on your cellphone and you still need a GPS system which you don't have on your car but your cellphone do, this is a great tool to take on the road
Flat rate just like any regular internet
Good for web browsing

CONS
I felt cheated I was promised I could game online games like call of duty for example. I was promised somewhere I read about 7MB/s download speed. I barely made it past 2MB/s and that was in New York City. The picture above showing the speed was taken when I was using nothing but my computer. I was told I could plug up to 8 devices on this internet, I plugged my computer and some sites were loading at some decent speed, I decided to watch Netflix at the same time on my playstation. I saw the system reloading the movie for better quality. I ended up watching the movie in Standard definition despite being HD, then I decided to give my cellphone data plan a break by switching to WiFi mode. At this point I am amazed to see how slow google is actually loading. If you want to test how slow your connection is, just try to load google.com the simplest website in the world which is pretty much a blank screen with couple of buttons. By the time my girlfriend plugged in her Nook tablet, I lost connection or couldn't connect to the server in many cases.
I called customer support and the service was extremely horrible, I ended up super upset and hanging up the phone on the guy's face literally.
After so much bad service, I couldn't believe that 15 days after officially started my internet plan I got a survey which I filled up with honest answers including I'm not recommending this service to my friends and family. I went as far as to say that this technology would be loved in 2001 making Clear the best internet provider in the planet but not in 2013.
Horrible for video streaming: I pretty much stopped all activities on youtube including uploading videos. It took me 1 hour and a half to upload a 5 minutes video to youtube.
When I was done with them I couldn't find a cancel button, I had to call them again. This time thankfully some very sweet young lady answered the phone. Instead of me saying I'm done, I'm out, maybe 5 minutes and that's it. I went 15 minutes into this conversation I felt I was smoothly being pushed into keeping the service despite having a faster internet at home. I basically told her my new service provider, my speeds and OH yeah since she got me a little pissed with that, I compared my new speed with the old speed.

Remember I told you I took the speed check with the hotspot from Clear and my computer only? Well this one is more unfair I had 2 cellphones, my PS3 and the computer plugged to the wireless and a smart TV to the wired connection. I am not the sole user of this I don't know who else was connected. I am not promoting Optimum online, you can get very similar speeds with Time Warner Cable (in New York, check with your provider to see what they can offer) However this isn't even the fastest yes I have internet faster than 62% of USA but there's a group that is faster that's Verizon Fios customers, also even faster as fast as 1GB/s is Google Fiber (available only in Kansas as of now) Google Fiber cost about $70/mo and 120/mo with TV. I have a cheaper, when unbundled is about U$54.99/mo. Ok I was paying $49.99/mo, Wasn't I supposed to get at least 9MB/s down per 1.00MB/s up and justify the missing speed on the fact that I can take this internet to the road?
Another lesson I learned during internet downtime which was actually caused for a faulty wireless router is that wireless routers get old, they are not intended to be used by our children and grandchildren (supposing you are 16-30 with not kids yet) I have the very same service from last month and last month when I ran the speed test I was getting 7MB/s downstream per 0.95MB/s upstream. The router in use was a 10 years old WRT54GL from Linksys and I didn't know the wireless modems had a top speed which was reached. I'm now using a Netgear N600 which actually has a top wireless speed of 300MB/s so don't cheat yourself away of speed you are paying for, make sure you know what's your router's speed, specially when is at least 5 years old.

In conclusion, Clear has a lot to improve on if they mean to compete and or be relevant in this advanced world. Youtube, and many others video sites are very popular for any person with access to the internet and if they can't get what they want, there would be more blogs about this popping up every single minute. Be very careful what you pick, invest your money wisely.

Modern Warfare 3 Broken again?

It's being one more year, one more Call Of Duty have been released. Black Ops 2 is out to a great month, yet Modern Warfare 3 find ways to still surprise. During one of my gameplays the system went crazy giving me 15999XP per kill on Kill Confirmed instead of the usual 50XP. As you can appreciate in the video below, there's nothing special about the gameplay in fact I was checking at the scoreboard too much which caused me to be standing like an idiot in the middle of a fight yet a regular kill was worth 15999XP. That happened this November 19th. The video is not high quality it was recorded with a Galaxy S 3 cellphone rather than a game capture device but you can definitely appreciate how broken MW3 is about to get. After the game I contacted Infinity Ward via twitter. This is the beauty of our times you can even contact the president directly if you like. I explained the issue and I didn't have the problem after that. My stats were reset as they were before playing that game, the loss was taken off my records and I was put back to Prestige 12 level 40. Oh, I went way back in time and played Black Ops and it seemed like it was the game that was released this year. It ran smoothly and no glitch. Two years ago when Black Ops was released, MW2 was unplayable. I entered a game at level 27 no prestige. Found a lobby full of invincible people, people walking on imaginary ladders, flying around, no custom class just switch gun and is all the guns of the game, camping outside the map's walls. Played that game and when I was done with a ridiculous 5-17 I got promoted to the last prestige and last level. Never again played modern warfare 2. This year, MW3 seem to start giving problems.

Many of you reading don't care because U$60.00 is like change to your pockets, but correct me if I'm wrong. The game is rated M-17 meaning only people over 17 should play it, yet 14-16yo are predominant as well as those between 17-40. Let's focus on those 14-16yo kids. They go to school all year then work all summer long to get their Play Station, or Xbox or which ever console they prefer. Young people tend to go overboard. So instead of $60.00 they pay $120 for the Elite version. that's a lot of money specially when you worked your summer with a boss you possibly didn't like that much then end up disappointed because your game don't work a year later. Come on Infinity Ward. It gets worse for others. Most Modern Warfare 3 lobbies are full of holiday shoppers again around ages 14-19 they got their MW3, possibly Black Ops during Christmas and are anxious to get Black Ops 2 this Christmas. Your Attitude and your social and physical health

Hello ladies and gentlemen and thank you all for your continuous support to this blog and welcome to all of you new to the craziest the happiest blog on the internet. Positive attitude sometimes gets ignored and don't get the credit deserved and to be honest some people under estimate it maybe because they don't have it and to be honest with you a positive attitude is the hardest to maintain. I tell you right now I can start a big argument right now about the government and be all mad about it all day long. Not happy with that I go to a sporting event and find something to be mad about. I go and watch the Mets my favorite team beat up the other team 11-0 still I get mad because Ike Davis struck out with the bases loaded and ignoring the fact that he homered in that game. You see how easy is to be negative? Let's continue with the same "suppose game" Johan Santana strikes out 12 batters in that complete game yet I get upset he could have struck out 13 but with a 3-2 count the umpire called a strike as a ball resulting in a walk. See how easy is getting negative?
Now let me ask you something, Is that a healthy attitude? would people want to hang out with you with such an horrible attitude? I had the pleasure of reading "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen and this is what he had to say "...at the command of glad and beautiful thoughts it becomes clothed with youthfulness and beauty... Sicky thoughts will express themselves through a sickly body." WOW wasn't that powerful? I have had my days everybody is human I had my days where I go to sleep upset over something. The next day I feel drained like if someone sucked my energy while I was asleep, I don't want to get up, feel unusually tired sometimes even falling asleep while getting dressed. I don't feel sick is just out of energy. Then I recall the night before and realize is the time to change my attitude get up, dust off, and get ready to face this brand new day. I have come to realize that I'm more vulnerable when I'm affected by something. The winter of 2010 was the worst for me health wise. I look back and I realized what happened it wasn't the clothing I actually wore suit and on top of that a really good coat. Let's go back two months before that. I had a job I was the head of my department of just two, I thought everybody was my friend I was very happy there, I also had a business growing my team was small but I was traveling with two good friends of mine. I got fired from my job unexpectedly, my two friends quit on me and the business, the blog I just started wasn't receiving as many visits as I was expecting. True, it was in the beginning a site where I would just post random thoughts I wasn't looking for visits but once I started to get a few I wanted more. The Spanish version was a dismal at the moment I was receiving ridiculous amount of visits from non Spanish speaking countries and zero from Spanish speaking countries. All that was boiling up to a very upset me, nothing was looking up for me and I was tired of trying to stay positive and getting a slap in my face.
Let's jump to winter 2011-12 what happened to me health wise. I didn't even feel it was winter. True I got couple of episodes where I lost my voice momentarily but that was because of me practicing toward my youtube channel commentator tryouts and the cold weather. Let see what happened. My attitude changed I'm a happy man now expecting my first child OH YEAH I didn't say that before but my first born is almost here and I'm very excited. That alone made my attitude change 180 degrees, got a job, got promoted in my job now I'm an office manager, my relationship with those really close to me is way better now, I'm enjoying the fact that I'm writing and someone is reading. I wish I could see some comments.
My point in all this is that your attitude make you a healthier person and a better person. If you keep beating yourself over and over you will as well kill yourself.
Attitude, whatever attitude you bring you must always remember that will impact somebody at some point. People will either praise your attitude or will regret ever crossing paths with you. At the end of the day is up to you to decide how you want people to remember interacting with you.
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Julia. Julia was a giant ball of energy very very interactive, sweet, welcoming, and a very impressive woman. Now let's take a look at Julia physically. An Asian woman barely standing 5 foot tall I believe she was around 4'8" in her late 60's I only know that because she said her age otherwise she looked nearly 20 years younger. I didn't meet her personally she was brought in by someone who helped her to seat by a teacher. Jenn and I were traveling to Brooklyn from Queens in the bus. She was talking to everybody she said hi to everybody as she was being escorted to her seat. She was moving to East New York Brooklyn and since all of her family was busy at the moment and couldn't help until like a few days later she took matters in her own hands. To me and to everybody this was very impressive because most people at her age retired and are just sitting around watching golf, traveling if they were lucky enough to have a good job in their youth. This woman instead was moving all the stuff she could to her new home. She said "you never know, people say they are gonna help you but just to make sure I the move is done I do myself what I can." all this with a big smile in her face, and this confidence that could be felt like an earthquake rows of seats away from her. Even people that were reading, listening to music stopped to listen to this woman. She left the bus many stops before mine and we continued talking about her. When I left the bus I realized that I would never talk to the person next to Jenn and the person behind and in front of me if it wasn't for a small but powerful energy ball named Julia. I could have get the contact information from everybody in that bus if I wanted to. It was even more shocking to me that one of the riders of the bus met a friend on the train we were transferring to and she spoke about this woman and suddenly the three people next to them were not talking but they were listening they were all nodding their head.
You see how the voice of someone's attitude spread? Now my question to close this topic is: How do you want to impact people today? do you want people to remember you as the positive individual? Do you want people to thank whatever God or force they believe in for putting you in their path? Or in contrast Do you want to be the one getting kicked out of the bus? Do you want to be hated? Do you want to be insulted? Do you want people to regret the moment you got in their paths?
Whatever decision you make I want you to remember that this not only affect your life socially but also physical and mental, that every time you change your attitude you also make possible for your health to change. I will prefer to be remembered in a good way when I depart a place, I want people to thank God they met me and send blessings my way. But I'm not sitting around being negative I work hard to keep myself positive. I'm not like Julia I wish I could match that energy but in the meantime I'm working to get there.

Known issues with Facebook Sims Social: the disocialization

Hello and welcome to another edition of your favorite blog. This time I will go off topic with the blog and will let you learn a little bit more about me. When I made the blog was for inspirational purposes and also sometimes express myself.
I love to read from great personalities like Les Brown, JC Maxwell, and others, but another thing that you guys didn't know about me is that I'm a gamer. I mostly play call of duty, any sport game like NBA 2K12. When I'm not playing on the Play Station I'm playing on Facebook.
Undeniably the most captivating game of the decade is The Sims. One thing that make the Sims appealing is the fact that you can basically create a fictitious life. On August 2011 The Sims social was launched for Facebook. I immediately jumped into this game. I liked playing this game early on, I still like it. But I have been noticing a decline and there's no mystery on why.
Just like anything EA put it hands into. Perhaps the most successful series they had was NBA Street. This was the game to play back in 2002-04. But EA messing things up destroyed the franchise releasing "NBA homecourt) The game seemed to be the same old street ball game but was all cartoon. EA is also behind the Sims and the Sims social. I have noticed great changes in the game. Now I can invite people to my house, starting in February 2012. Is great because it sucks to have a great house and you can't see how others interact in your house. However I can only do limited stuff with the visiting Sim. If you notice the picture above I don't have a sofa, I chose to have two seats in front of my TV. The visiting Sim can't sit because I'm using the seat. After continuous failures I came to realize that my Sim only use one. I removed the other seat via "Shop" and I get the message "I need somewhere to sit". But that's not all.
The biggest frustration of this game is the famous quests. They give you weekly sometimes biweekly challenges for you to accomplish within certain period of times. Sure you should have some challenges but some challenges are ridiculous. Let's start for the ones that have frustrated me and other players the most.
Since Myspace years is known that people don't look at others people's profiles. Some of the frustrations that people have is that to complete a quest you must post it on your wall and pray for friends to click on your links and help you out. I have come to the desperation point sometimes commenting on my own postings and tagging other Sims players. Trying to be a good neighbor I also created a special list in my Facebook where I list all of my fellow Sims players so I can see when they post on their wall. Still the whole "Sims neighborhood" end up with uncompleted quests. Another issue that result in uncompleted quests. Some ridiculous requests that can never be completed no matter what. I recall one for the month of February for some reason the French week was also the sexual week. Here's the problem with that quest. I had to contact couple of female players and agree to start a romantic relationship with my Sim in order to complete the quest even though my Sim is in a happy relationship with the Sim of my real life girlfriend.
I needed to woohoo (Sim for have sex) with 3 different Sims. My friends agreed. Here is the problem, in order to start a romantic relationship with another Sim I had to break up with my girlfriend. Out of every relationships in the Sims the most complicated to develop and I wasn't breaking it for the sake of a quest. More problems. Note the four heads on the left side of the screen with a red text under. If you haven't play the Sims social I have to explain to you that this represent active quests. The one in the bottom is the relaxation week, I have to deal with relaxation week and they start with another quest right away give me a break EA.
Relaxation week also had it issues. Can you explain me how relaxation and kissing are related? For the second stage of the quest they asked me to kiss 3 different Sims. I said this is given, one of my Sim quality is "great kisser" so he has "steamy make out" I just kiss my girl, go out flirt with couple of sims, make out with them, then to avoid romantic relationship get them upset and destroy the romantic momentum. That sounds like a fantastic. NO is not. It happens that make out don't count as kissing in the Sims social. They had "romantic kiss" and "shy kiss" for people I don't have a romantic relationship with and "kiss" for romantic relationship. Here's the problem, in order to kiss another Sim I was required to break up with my girlfriend.
WTF EA? can you do one thing right someday in your life? Is bad enough that people spend time on your stupid game time that we could have spend doing productive stuff like reading a book, learning a new trade, actually working. I think I have spend around 15 hours of my weeks on your game and this is what I get? Then to make it worse the game gets discriminative and impossible to complete for certain groups. Then to make it even worse I get so frustrated that I wanted to make my voice be heard at EA and there's no way of reaching the studio. No wonder 2K whooped your behind last year with the release of NBA 2K11 and now NBA 2k12 where did NBA Live go? even with the endorsement of ESPN 2K took you down. True, MLB 2K is not their best game because their MLB development team tend to ignore the fans but NBA 2K listen. Anyway EA continue this road since the destruction of NBA street. To me the best game of the Franchise was Street V2 after the destruction of that franchise I love EA as much as I love my headaches and tooth aches.
I think I will definitely stop playing this game and go with the flock to play Angry Birds, seem more exciting than this game that just keep frustrating everybody. How in the F$#$ world cleaning have to do with greek week? This game is getting stupid by the day.

Major pluses for this game

Truly create an empire by working out all your skills and earning money in everything, build a wonderful house.
Major big plus. Since we are rich, it sucks staying all year long in the same house. As of March now we can build a house in the beach that gets dirty by beach garbage way too quick by the way.
Ability to invite friends into the house
Massive storage room
Careers, now the Sims can earn extra points when they do tasks related to their career. It focus on four major careers Rock Stars (earn extra points in music) Artist (earn points in painting, writing), cook (earn points in cooking) Athlete (earn extra points in athletic activities)

Big cons

Trouble with the quests
Inability to identify that there's two chairs not one sofa
Windows is the most used operating system in the world. Since the failure of Windows vista people are cautious to move into Windows 7 still and since Windows 8 was announce some people are waiting for Windows 8. This leave people using Windows XP in computers that have similar power to that of my cellphone. Sims social tend to freeze on those computers. It uses too much flash memory
Discriminate players due to their relationship status catering more to single

Question I can answer
How can I make people to visit me? My friends complain that my house is too crowded and freeze their system
Here's the thing my friend, when you load a Sims house you load the items present in the house. So this steal more flash memory and force your friend's browser to crash. You have a massive storage room, let's call it the attic. You can store all items you are not currently using into the storage room, this make your house look a bit more loose and is easier for you and your friends to navigate. Placing an item in the storage room will not deplete your house worth. Is items you bought that's your.

Trayvon Martin, when injustice knocks

On another note, Trayvon's case really hit a nerve for future and existing parents. This can be a landmark case it may change our justice system for good. It's sad that some young life had to be taken away, I hope Trayvon's death wasn't in vain. So pass this around if you feel the same.
Another situation I exposed here was that shown in "Facebook parenting for the troubled teenager" a hot video getting even Dr Phil involved. To me, Tommy Jordan took it as far as required, I mean I spend hundreds of dollars getting a laptop to my daughter, then spend hundreds of dollars on new softwares and I find that my investment is being used against me, well yes I have reasons to go mad.
Problems in New York Schools well you just read what I wrote above, teenagers are trouble and they may do anything to catch attention, the news of the moment in New York is sexual assaults in school by teachers, one was found to have sexual content involving children, another one had a solid relationship with a 16yo for many years. Well I think they are now riding on this accusing teachers of molestation when possibly all they did was just look, or handshake or pat the kid's shoulder.

In the past few days the internet, the blog sphere, youtube has been on fire with the video shown above. If you have a spare half an hour and you haven't see this video, just watch it. It was so crazy the impact I saw a friend sharing this link yesterday at 7AM before I went to work. By the time I got to work 14 friends shared this link, by lunch time it doubled. This video have been watched at an average of 9.5 million views a day. At the time I'm typing this line I read 70,909,478 views Posted .
What makes this video so special? How did it gain so much fame?

Well let me tell you, is about people, Two days ago I didn't know who Joseph Kony was and I'm likely just like you who learned about Kony because everybody is talking about him on your facebook newsfeed or twitter. Why don't we know of the atrocities he has been committing for 26 years? I tell you why. We live in a narcissistic society consumed by glamour and our own selves, we live in a "not my business society" the media wont report something that has nothing to do with the area they are from and unfortunately the news of Joseph Kony went as far as the countries surrounding Uganda. His army is a big as the NYPD 30,000 all of them abducted "orphan" children. I quoted orphan because there's a reason they are orphan. He forces them to commit the biggest crime a human being can commit and that's killing their own parents and immediate family. That's why he doesn't have family members trying to take their children away from him. 30,000 rebels without a cause just seeking to kill, mutilate probably steal. If I was you, I should be very concerned. Sure they are not an army of let say hundred thousand, don't have any nuclear weapon. But 30,000 with the wrong intentions that's just too many people.
It gets even worse, because society have been so self consumed, sometimes just being stupid posting ridiculous ads on craigslist, posting meaningless status updates, checking in in their bathroom, bed etc (that's stupid) rather than use that time to do something better for society. Hold that thought people I'm coming back to this. Because of people being so self consumed, we don't really know if the army grew, what kind of technology he has, what kind of weapons he has. And to be honest I would never know about Kony, Why? because the media in the USA would never air that story, maybe once and then get erased from memory with something that happened in New Jersey or one neighborhood from New York or California. If it wasn't because of the man behind this video, if it wasn't because of my facebook peers spamming Facebook posting this link, I would never know.
Remember I say we can do better for society? this is what I'm talking about. Russia and Mexico two countries I haven't visit and I live thousands of miles away from those countries are my top 2 and 3 readers. Maybe you are in Uganda reading this. I'm in United States, but here we have no boundaries Facebook, Twitter have become some sort of cyber country bigger than United States and Russia together and to be honest more powerful than a weapon. Why? Because is fed by the ideas of regular people like you and me. If you move toward minute #20 of the video above, in 2010 Obama sent troops to aid in the capture of Kony that was because they got fed up with the massive campaign the group Invisible children was doing on Facebook and beyond. See? we can annoy the government sometimes and force them into taking action. The good thing of social networking is that we can share an idea across the world as slow as 2 hours and to be honest no plane takes two hours from Japan to New York, we have broken the speed barriers, is time to put it to use for better, for a better society. You know what's even better about this? You watch the news and you may not see it again, but Youtube is a blessing, you can just continue playing over and over and sharing the video again and again just to keep the memories fresh.
Sometimes an idea can take you far. In this case film maker Jason Russell and two friends traveled to Uganda in 2003, they come across this hell, decide to take matters in hands delivering raw footage, talking to people in Washington but nobody heard them. Why? Again self absorbed society. Since there's not economic interest, and the USA safety wasn't endangered, that's not our war. But they were strong about their idea, their fight and decided to continue fighting. They created the association called "invisible children inc" in allusion to the fact that nobody knew of these children's suffering or some saw and ignored. Well let's make those children visible that was the idea behind it. Their dedication, motivation, hard work led the United States to send troops to help. Now they are pushing to keep everybody aware, and make sure United States don't withdraw. Why would United States be involved. Well I have two reasons. Number one, is a major power, and two you don't know what can happen if we let Kony in anonymity to continue his atrocities, what if he decides to invade other countries? Oh now is your problem right?
Usually I watch this channel on youtube is this guy who plays Hitler, how Hitler would react to today's society, I watch it, only because I know how evil Hitler was I decided to take a look at what he thinks of Kony (see link below) one thing that had me laughing hysterically was that he said "Sick monster" Now, I'm not justifying Hitler I'm not offending here I know I have some Jewish readers please don't take this out of context. Comparing both monsters nobody is more perverse than Kony I don't know if is because I'm leaving in the era of Kony not Hitler. Hitler committed serious crimes, Kony is committing serious crimes making matters worse is committing them on his own people, the people he should be defending, what's worse is against children, more than a million left their houses running away from his army of abducted children trying to protect their own. If they try to escape, they die, he revived slavery only for women. He make girls his sex slaves, IS TIME TO PUT A STOP ON THIS, I mean, I time to make a change. And yet he gets even worse. he talks about peace, Talks about the lord in fact his army's name is "lord resistance army" he talks about peace but send the children he "recruit" to kill the parents, talks about peace while causing even more tragedies. I hope you understand why I categorize Kony as more perverse than Hitler. Hitler? we can't do nothing about him, he's still alive as a character on Youtube that's it. But Kony is alive is time to stop him.
When internet started decades ago, I didn't know what a computer was, those of you who were lucky enough to know one at young age probably didn't expect that a keyboard and a screen would give so much power. Right now he's very afraid, right now he's trembling in fear. He's trying to run away with his massive army. But he can't hide, he went from a Mr. Somebody only in Uganda to a well known individual in matter of just two days. Now the world know who he is, how he looks like. He can't hide for too long. Now, before you post the next pointless status update, check in at your own bedroom (I can't believe Facebook allow a bed to be a venue) think, think on an idea you want to share, something you want to change, the world probably share the same idea you have and you will be heard loud and clear.

This special edition video comes with a thank you note to all of you for your overwhelming support on my latest entry. I have to thank also everyone (one that was jenn) on this matter before this entry was even posted. This has definitely inspired me to bring you more I still will have my two blog entries and also a video vlog. Maybe me talking to you about certain topic, or just me making a videogame commentary. We will have a lot of fun ahead and I will do my best to bring more and better content.

most of the beginning of this entry is on sport. You can skip all this sport talk and start reading from the big red and all caps "ENOUGH" still take time to read what has happened in sports anyway.
So is another superbowl coming up, fans are excited, everybody is expecting to see an amazing show. However, weeks ago that wasn't the story, in fact New York fans lost hope of any playoff. To make matters worse both teams the Jets and the Giants who were looking for a spot in the playoff had to face each other obviously destroying the other team's chances of playoff. The NY Giants were struggling most of the season, sometimes they would win games, they would stump the opponent or get stumped. Well the Giants won that game. In their division they had the Philadelphia Eagles who were playing a very hot football in the past few weeks (four wins in a row). The last thing the Giants wanted was face the Eagles on a extended season game. They had to win the next game against the Dallas Cowboys which they did eliminating any hopes for the Eagles.
They were counted out, in fact the coach's job was in jeopardy. Yet they are in the playoffs. On January 22 the no so favorite to win Giants (9-8) faced the San Francisco 49ers (13-4) surprisingly the game was a battle, going to a ridiculously low score 17-17 after the fourth quarter. Giants won on overtime 20-17. It was a shocker, the team everybody counted out took out one of the hottest team in the National Conference. Some fans probably don't believe this happened. But happened.
Ironically San Francisco also have a great sport story to talk about. To add more to the irony that team used to be called New York Giants too. Yes I talk about 2010 World Series Champions San Francisco Giants. When you have two teams like the Philadephia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves playing in the same division where clearly one of the two will have to take the division and the other fight a wild card spot, winning 90 games that season would not be enough to go to the playoff. The Giants found themselves in a fierce battle with Adrian Gonzales and the San Diego Padres for that playoff spot until the final game of the season. Ironically they faced each other. The Giants needed just one win to clinch the playoffs. However they lost their first two games against San Diego, they got it right on the third game and that was game number 162 of the season. They were the last team to classify for a playoff spot. They barely made it but they fought to the end. On the other side the Yankees would not face the Red Sox (89-73) they have a new nemesis TB Devil Rays who won 96 games Yanks took the wild card with 95. Minesota Twins (95 wins), Texas Rangers (90 wins), Yankees and the Rays would represent the American league that season. Yankees took care of the Twins, the Rangers took down the Devil Rays and the Rangers well they disrespected the Yankees in their own stadium to the point that nearly 90% of the "fans" left the stadium. Philadelphia Phillies the hottest team in the National league to the day (2012) was also the winningest team in the major leagues baseball they took home 97 wins, Atlanta Braves 91, Cincinati Reds 91 and Giants 92. This is how it went down. Philadelphia swept the Reds out of the playoff, Giants took care of the Braves to face the Phillies on a 7 games series they took the National leagues championship on 6 games. Texas who defeated the Yankees with "this is to hurt you deep" scores was the favorite to take the championship. The Giants didn't have that many big name players Tim Lincecum and closer Brian Wilson were perhaps the biggest name on that team at the time. Rangers had Nelson Cruz, Cliff Lee, rookie closer Neftali Feliz, Josh Hamilton, Mike Young, Ian Kinsler, Vlad Guerrero. This team was danger from the distance. For some unknown reasons they just couldn't stop the Giants, they got back all the insults they gave to the Yankees with one game in particular ending 9-0 Giants. They barely made it to the playoff, yet they won the championship. Another story is that of Edgar Renterias a pretty good short stop for many years. The 34 years old had lost much of the skills that made him a good to watch player. He was limited to 72 of 162 games. Ending with AVG 276 3HR 22RBI 332OBP. However in the World Series he hit 412 in 5 games 2HR 6RBI including two game winning hits including a 3 run homeruns the only runs of the team making him just the 4th player to have two series winning hits in the history of MLB. The others are Yogi Berra, Lou Gehrig and Joe Dimaggio.
Boston Red Sox have their own story too in fact this one go down to history books, they did something that is hard to repeat. 2004 the wild card Red Sox faced the Yankees for the American League championship. Boston who lost the previous year, same series, same team lost game one (10-7), game 2 (3-1) game 3 (19-8). Everything was set for the Yankees to take the series. In fact on game four with one run lead they brought in their closer Mariano Rivera who allowed a tie, then a relief pitcher in allowed a walk off homerun in extra innings (12 innings) to David Ortiz. This followed a marathon (14 innings) game 5, then they struck hard on game 6. They were the only 0-3 team to reach game 6 but became the only team out of 26 to force a game 7. They went on to kill the Yankees on their own house with score 10-5. They scored 2 in the first, 4 in the second. They went on to sweep Albert Pujols' St Louis Cardinals also becoming the first team to have a 8 wins streak in the same postseason. They won their first World Series since 1918

ENOUGH NUMBERS. I used sports because is something that you can read, something you can see a difference was made. I was having this conversation with Jenn the other night, yes we have some strange conversations. We were talking randomly and ended up talkign about how some people are invincible when things are going well. I pointed out that some people who get to that "invincible status" are not usually the ones who achieve it. For example in sports I have noticed that in most cases the ones who play harder are not exactly the stars. Some stars do play hard all game long don't get me wrong. But a big majority of them get too much credit for just putting a game out of reach. Sure the boss makes a lot of money. But who is the one who have to sort his/her mail? write his her reports, call clients, etc. They pay other people to do that work for them, to facilitate the work to him/her. But then we have to look at how much they had to do to get to that position. No position is just earned. You have to go through a lot of work and drama in order to reach it. How you reach it? by refusing to fall.
The Boston Red Sox of 2004 saw themselves about to be sent home every night after game 3 of the American League championship, in fact they were down on the 8th inning of game 4. But they never let down. This my friend this is what make the difference between being an embarrasing loss or a glorious win. I believe I made a reference about this in an early entry I think had to do with giving up. But there was a quote there talking about how some people are faced with adversity and let themselve go on a free fall. Others are faced with adversity and act like a bouncing ball. They get up fast and stronger than ever. Look at the Boston Red Sox of 2004. Everything was going terrible for them, but they didn't want to see the Yankees celebrating on their stadium. Mariano Rivera is a great closer, one of my favorite players for his demeanor and how serious he works. They stood up to him and made him blow a save. That was the last time the Yankees held the lead the entire season. They got fired up and just swept through the next team. Any team reaching post-season is a good team, specially that one reaching the world series. Yet they made it look easy because when you work hard, things are going your way, the day looks like a walk in the park. "Victor I work hard and I'm tired I don't see results? are you working hard or hardly working? let me tell you, complaining will not help your cause but drain energy away not letting you see what you are achieving. Keep on the hard work, nobody assured that results will be instantly and if someone assure instant results, there has to be something wrong.
It's tough to be against the wall, but you have to understand that this is when you have to show what you are made of, this is when you have to make things happen, this is when you have to prove yourself. If you can succeed in adversity, you surely will succeed everyday after when things are good. I know of a man by the name Jim Myers who can't feel any comfortable if he's not in an uncomfortable situation. I saw him speak one day, he has a very successful business netting him 2.3+ millions a year. Business runs itself he has couple of people making a million and a few more getting close to a million. Yet when I last saw him speaking he was thinking of restarting the business, forget this one, that monster has a life of it own, how about starting all over again and see if he can do the same. Crazy? yeah maybe, but if he succeeds he would be crazy rich well double of what he is.
I am one who thinks that when things are going too smooth, there have to be something wrong somewhere. I know that life will always give me a slap in the face, there's always going to be some difficulty somewhere. You have to be prepared for the difficulties because they are going to be there. If you are expecting everything to be easy, you chose the wrong program (life).
Even when everything seems to be a lost cause you still have to give it your all. Let's take a look at sports for example. How many baseball games have been won in a comeback on the last inning, walk-off hits? How many basketball games have been won on a final shot? I bet you can't count them, is far too many. Because the game is not over until one side give away just make sure you are not the side giving away. You can't expect to win if you are thinking of defeat. If you think you are not going to win, that's the first step to losing, you have programmed yourself to lose.

Hello to my wonderful audience happy new year to all I'm really thankful for the support offered to this blog during the year 2011, we enter 2012 strong with better content and even more to come. I have been absent for a while, I have been sick (lazy) no but seriously I have been sick lately and added to that was the holidays. I'm now ready to deliver to you the content you have been waiting for. Let's look forward to an awesome 2012 I wish you all health and prosperity and that you finally comment here haha.
For you, may be a happy new year but not for a particular family of New York City. Let me tell you something, I hardly watch news because is pretty depressing. Yesterday I grabbed a copy of AM New York just to find out that Amanda Cumming committed suicide on Monday just two days after celebrating her last Christmas with her family. Now, What's so special about Amanda that I have decided to include her in one of my entries? Amanda Cumming was a 15 years old girl victim of bullying. She just couldn't handle it anymore. I have included her memorial blogspot page for you to visit and pay your respects if you like. I was thinking of creating a collage of latest victims of bullying including that of that famed video but I didn't think was appropriate.
Bullying has always been present not only in our schools but in society, later on in this article I will tell you why I think people bully. But it has taken a tremendous step lately where teens are not only getting bullied in school but even in their very own living room, in silence. I'm talking about cyber bullying perhaps more dangerous thankfully easier to document. Technology which much help to stay in touch but also helps bullies to trespass into your home's walls. Let's take a look at some of most recent cases.
September 2010 Piscataway, New Jersey Tyler Clementi suicide after a roommate broadcast to friends Tyler's sexual encounter with another man.
You think this is the American way? think it twice. I'm not sure when this happened but I just typed "bullying 2011" and this article dropped in. Kwangju, Korea a 14 years old boy took his life as well after being incapable of dealing with 3 bullies who beat him in 29 different occasions.
Just to prove a point of how Cyber bullying is a problem and everybody is at risk, here's this video is in Spanish unfortunately but this time hit close home. My own cousin had a moment to be scared when she won a competition on Facebook I wonder why people compete anyway. She won a little competition called "who is the most beautiful?" is popular in Hispanic countries usually get two girls to compete head to head. In this case the losing girl got very upset and getting her mother involved. Well the press got involved, police got involved and came out "as a miss-understanding" turns out the mother of the other girl was a cop as well. But the family had to be concerned because just 3 days before tragedy happened involving Facebook.
October 10, 2011 Dominican Republic (click here) the article is in Spanish but here's the synopsis of what happened. A 18 year old downloaded a picture of her 20 years old Facebook friend and uploaded her on her Facebook captioning it "this girl is a pig, her mouth stink" obviously an online argument ensued, then they met at a grocery store and there the 18 year old ended up stabbing to death her former friend and to what some other sources say, she might have been pregnant.
October 10, 2011 seems this was cyber bullying week. Amber Cole a 14 years old girl become news when a video of her practicing oral sex on her former boyfriend receive millions of views. Apparently the video was consensual but was not meant to be shared, the boys decided to share it and encouraging their friends on Facebook and twitter to pass it around. I agree with one of the articles I read, the names of the guys should be released they are in fact the ones who are supposed to be in the mud.
What's the deal with bullying? Why people bully? first of all we are all humans and I don't care how attractive a person appears to be at the end of the day, there's something on that person that is not that charming. Bullies have an eye for that and just pick on that. Of course they know their own defects but try to divert the attention toward someone else. I'm thankful I came from a good high school at Newcomers High School there's no place for bullying, they enforce the fact that we are all new to the country and should stick together, look after our fellow classmates. Let see, my previous high school don't count neither. I went through three different high schools those who don't know. In the previous high school I was the youngest in the class it was a night high school obviously for those who work. I just couldn't find a spot in regular school when I changed city. But in my first high school there was this one guy. He did his best to annoy me, he picked on the fact that I have a gap in my front teeth and he teased me constantly about it. "window tooth" what he was trying to cover was that he was missing two teeth right in front. Think about it, I was window tooth I would accept that, he was St Louis arch tooth. But he was covering that by picking on me instead. Once I learned this fact, I wasn't feeling bad no more, I knew what his objective was.
We live in a society where you can't be. You are smart, study like crazy? you get picked on for being so smart, but then everybody is your friend when tests come. You better cooperate or you get bullied. You are dumb? well you gonna be the comedy topic for your classmates poking jokes about you all the time, you are good looking? likely may get picked on no matter what you do. Just for being good looking you have people hating you particularly those of the same sex. If you are ugly you get teased and on and on. Like I said before, just divert the attention toward someone else and see them get mad.
I get my point across, bullies are insecure of themselves and just to feel good they seek for some defect on someone else. Often lack self esteem and don't want their ego to be hurt when someone pick on them, so they decide to pass that responsibility to someone else. In the case of Ms Cumming she was dating a guy her main bully liked, but that's not the case all the time, sometimes bullies do it without a reason.

As a parent you have to make sure your children are respectful toward others,
Be your children's friend never encourage violence.
This go for both ways bullied kid or bully. As I said before, bullies have their own problems and just to avoid being picked on, they pick on someone, plus is a way to entertain themselves tormenting someone else.
Always remind your children of their good qualities, talk to them constantly, they are sensitive beings looking for attention and very important, get to know their friends.

It's just the way I was raised. Honestly I didn't care much being called window tooth, and never felt the need to bully nobody. I knew right away who I was and always smiled "this is me and what make me different" teach them to love the differences they have and so they learn to love the difference in others.
Now to the bullies behind Ms Cumming case. Are you happy now? thank to your actions a fine young girl lost her life. She could have been the scientist who would discover the cure of many illnesses, she could have been the greatest artist yet, a great mother. But we would never know because you decided was better to torture her existence. Tell me, Would you live at peace knowing that thank to you someone took her life? Would you be happy knowing that your own daughter 30 years from now is been bullied the same way you bullied Amanda? And how about you bullying Amanda because she was seeing "your crush" would you be happy knowing that your happiness with that guy was thank to the loss of a young life? Did it worth it? I bet you have your answers and you know well this was your responsibility not her. She was just a teenager like you, all of you put effort to kinda fit in, she did too, now she's gone. Think about it, 30 years from now that could probably be your daughter going through the same, or indirectly killing someone else. Is that the kind of society you want?

This was so funny when I read it on my facebook today I started to laugh because this is what I used to say to some cousin of mine “what you want a guy to #$# you?” I didn’t know I was actually so close to the truth. Before I posted this on my wall as the posting person suggested obviously you can’t share but you can share this link. Before I shared this link around I decided to do a little research on the hanging pants which is not one of the 7 marvels. You know, there’s a problem with this society and is that we find everything cool or interesting. While some men found this as an invitation to have sex with another male, some decide is cool and lets all do it. Let see, John go to jail he sees what’s going on and since what happens in prison mostly stays in prison, let me try. John get his dream come true, John likes it, John is released and decides to try this outside to see if any former inmate get the message. Somebody see John and find that cool and suddenly there are millions walking around with pants hanging halfway their bottom. I see this as a problem with identity people don’t know what to follow no more, people don’t know who they are and find everything worth trying not knowing what’s really behind it. I am the kind of guy who just walk around with his own fashion what make me feel comfortable. I don’t really want to walk outside and be just like the other 100 guys walking down the street. I believe you should stand by what you believe, you should stand by what you think is right, don’t be afraid to be yourself. If you want to walk around announcing you are looking for a guy for you, go ahead and good luck. If you are doing it because you think is cool, for those who know what this mean, you are not giving the proper message. Look at me joking around with my cousin not knowing that I was halfway correct. I say halfway because I didn’t know if in fact meant that. But whenever you make your statement, make it but respecting those around you. Translating from the popular hispanic show caso cerrado I’m using her closing statement today. “Be corteous, be careful, respect so you be respected, educate yourself, see you all next time.”

Hello dear audience and welcome to a brand new entry of Victor's Space blog. You know once again I'm featuring a real person into this blog. Trivia: Sylvanna Garcia becomes the first person no on my friend list to be featured in the blog, I came in touch with this comment accidentally I was intended to post a comment or two but got out of hand. I didn't prep her so I look cool if that's what you ask :D. This was funny, everybody knows of Facebook newest feature "closest friends" for those who still get e mails from facebook which I think is the smartest way to do so you stay in touch with your people. My brother posted this picture. Here comes the funny part, after standing in the line three hours and a half just a few days ago 11/7 (game out on midnight) we made it home to play a first match of Modern Warfare 3, everything is cool two playstations three guys all excited. Next day one of the systems break down (thank you SONY) so my brother decides to put one copy of modern warfare up for sale on facebook, Sylvana (the person featured here) comments on the fact that she's a newbie and she's having problems with her tv, a friend of my brother jump in for help. The whole point is no talks of my brother ever selling the game. Poor guy he was asking "what about the game?" but we were having a three ways conversation under his picture including that fine comment from Sylvanna to protect her privacy, some information provided on that comment was censored. Well entering the topic.
If you are up to date with this blog and saw my previous entry, you can surely assume I was kinda geeky in school, you are actually right, and thanks to that, I had a tough life relationship-wise in school. Since I can remember I always remember that my number one task in school was go and study, I didn't care what outfit was hot, I didn't even cared if my toes were coming out of my shoes. Main goal was number one wake up, two just wear something as long as it covers my body, three perform good in school. I also played little league baseball for a while I did ok I wasn't an elite player but I did far better in school. I wanted to be a profesional ball player and play for my favorite team The Mets, I had and still have a lot of passion for the game. But my grandfather saw in me that I could do better with my brain, my grades in school were more impressive than my baseball stats. I continued to go to school. I would just go to school all about business not about outfit or what is good out there. I didn't feel the need to impress nobody. Turns out that I did make friends really good friends but I also got leeches. If you recently got out of school and was one of those students that always did good you probably had some of those. You see in school academically there are these kind of people "Nerd (library rat)" the kind that is fashion backward, is all business no play. Other type they want to perform good in school, look somewhat presentable (that was me), "I don't care" the kind of students that don't work hard, they know that they are slow but don't seek help neither. If you wasn't none of these. I'm sorry no offense but you was probably a leech the kind who go to school, care about getting out of that jail but wont work hard enough, seek to become popular, graduate... Hey test tomorrow sit behind the nerd. "hey nerd you are my friend" yeah they remember your name and last name. I had many of those back in school. Last but not least is aggravated leech or hallway rats. The kind who cut classes, participate in all physical education classes even if they don't belong there, often bully others. The only reason these go to school is to meet with pals, show off the newest phone dad got them, listen to music outside school, smoke, or have sex.. That last one almost everybody do (not me), and again copy from the nerds. This not only applies to school.
You see, the way we grow in school is not only a personality we leave behind, is a personality we carry on through life dragging either prosperity or defeat. I don't even will mention to look around for bullies because I'm pretty sure that if you look at the news you would learn of several bullies right away. I wont even waste time talking about those is a very negative topic to talk about.
One very important thing to highlight on the above comment is that I did struggled big time. I was either too committed to my work, or just too slow to understand any life in school outside the classroom. As a teenager is a hard life, teenagers are the most judgmental people in the word. If you are a bad boy/girl chances are you become popular and others may find you interesting, datable. Completely the opposite of the geek and nerds the one too submerged in the book, afraid of breaking rules. Gez I knew people in high school too scared to leave for fire drills they though was mass class cutting. But people mature and the reality hits, there's no more trips to the principal's, security, dean's office. Outside school life bad boy/girl have these destination ranging from good to worse police precinct (dunking donuts) just kidding about dunking donuts but if you need a cop real quick check there first lol (I may get some enemies for this lol), seriously is the precinct, jail, or the graveyard, Would you like that path?. I'm writing one more entry coming in December where I state that back in high school I realized I was very popular I wasn't a wild child. However I was well known by teachers and students alike. Coming soon: "what does it takes to be popular" I'm also touching the senseless seniors vs freshman rivalry. Check it out this December.
If you are at work, take a look at some of your co-workers you will see some and I please you be one of these. On top of every work, craving more work, researching. Well the whole point is making things happen at work super busy and only socialize when the work is over, or after 5PM. I used to work with this young woman Joy P. F. I so wanted to bring her over to my business she was a very hardworking young woman, very sociable, smart and fun. I look at her and she definitely give me the impression of nerd (hard woking student) when she was in school. All she would talk about was about work, she would sit there at her desk and talk nothing during work, if she stood from there was during break (this time she would escape from work wont take break with co-workers neither) and if she talked to me it was small talk then what she needed from me for work related matters. That's why I wanted her to work in the business because this woman is business no kidding around. Once I approached her to talk about joining the business to what she responded "after work please" followed by a smile. Here's is the problem, she leaves at 4:30 I leave at 5:00 so that meeting never took place.
Then there's the leeches those who spend 3 hours of 8 near the water cooler talking about everything but work, family, Monday night football etc. Those who spend a week doing the same project that you could have finished in just two days. These are called leeches because they don't bring much to the plate they bring a little or nothing for which they drain the environment causing serious damages to the workplace, society, etc. Thanks to that the hard worker have to load up more work in order to keep the company running. If you are in that group and that's why you are reading this because you are bored of browsing the internet and well let see what's up in blogger. First bookmark this blog, and step it up it is not fair using others, earning an easy check, many people are in need of some work. The difference between a hard worker and a hardly working person is that the hard worker is always hungry always think can bring more and haven't done enough yet.
Leeches are the most dangerous group because they damage the environment in other ways. They are very low efficiency team compared to the nerds. In the middle there are a bunch of other groups because they don't have an identity they can either be motivated to work harder, or be completely distracted by a leech moron. Pardon the vocabulary but I had to say it... Now I feel better.
Not only in the work place this applies everywhere. Let me tell you, if you are taking away from an environment and not bringing nothing in exchange, you are being a leech. Whether is your workplace, your community *(taking social security when you could have been working), or your home if you are not putting nothing you are a leech. Is your house? well you are the father of the house, you work and bring 70% to 100% of the income but you never spend time with your children, your wife don't remember the last kiss you are still being a leech because the man don't live of bread only. I have to admit I have been quite a leech myself sometimes at home and let me tell you, it's not that comfortable actually is very self-destructive. Let me tell you one more mistake some men do is tell the woman "baby stay home I would go out and make our money" now I'm gonna tell you the mistake some women make is listen to "baby stay home I would go out and make our money" and actually pay attention to that. My woman should be the queen of the house I would love to go out and make all of the money, here's the problem, something happen to the king, the queen can't defend the castle because she's used to have her feet up. I wont tell my wife go to work or come stay home. I just let her be. You see, naturally if you are a good person, hardworking, good hardworking people will look for you. If I tell her go to work she may think I want to live off her, if I tell her don't work I may destroy her wings. I would motivate her to work hard, I would motivate her to find some enjoyment some alternate activity besides work, home, kids. Here's where you will sure understand the king and queen analogy. I am a human being I'm meant to break down at times I'm supposed to get sick, Victor Space wont have the same writer forever one day I have to die. If so that happens and I was the only provider for "my castle" who will then keep the castle running. Can't be my wife because I got her so used to never work that now she's lazy and very weak. On the other side of the coin if something were to happen to me, my woman is already a worker, she will be motivated to work harder just to "keep the castle running".
One big mistake society have done with women is that they have been designated as the weak. Did you know that lioness are the ones that hunt while the lion stays taking care of the cubs? the only time the lion hunt is when the lioness is either sick or pregnant. Well well the king of the jungle seems to be the woman in our society. True, women are sensitive, not as strong and tall as most men but that doesn't mean that they can't do a thing. On a previous entry I was talking about how people condition their bodies toward weakness see the link in the bottom.
My point in this entry is: you can't never get what you want unless you go for it against any odds, against all obstacles life put you through. Hey life will throw dust in your eyes just to see how fast you are willing to get it off your face and keep running after your goal, I promise you that someday you will be kneeling on the floor begging for mercy, wishing you was never born, crying "why me?" "why things don't work out for me" that day, is the defining day, depending how you respond, your lifestyle would depend on that. What? Don't believe me? think about a homeless person, now think of guys like Donald Trump. If you read Trump 101 a really good book from Trump himself he actually told a friend "see that homeless guy right there? that guy has more money than me." One difference is that the homeless guy didn't know how to respond to that key moment, Donald Trump decided to battle, he decided his life was a special gift and he better make his time here worthwhile. If you are bulling, riding on someone else's back you are wasting a precious gift. That gift is called life, you are wasting an opportunity and you may also be ruining someone else's chances. You know, what I heard about bullies? just the most insecure people in the world, they probably struggle with something, have been told anything that make them feel bad about themselves and the only way to reasure themselves they are not that bad, is go and bully on someone. Unfortunately the likely victim is the group known as nerd, geek etc people that keep excercising the brain. So there you go, a giant body with a brain the size of a bean facing a hyper active body held by a body the size of a bean. In a physical battle obviously the nerd know can't win, the win will come years later when the nerd is the CEO of a company and don't hire the bully because lack of work ethic and obviously a past. Instead of bullying around Go out there and make a difference with your life, always remember that you have one life to live, unlike call of duty you don't respawn, when you are gone, you are gone.

Hello wonderful audience thanks for the overwhelming support on this Space of Victor the space of you. In the past month and a half the audience have exploded to a point that I'm starting to think Google broke down and these reads are fake so please leave your mark here by voting for the entry you read whether "interesting" "funny" etc or leave your comment let me know you was here. For the second time in the history of this blog I would bring in one of my beloved facebook friends. She's being in my life for quite a while I'm very happy to have someone like her, she has been very influential person in this blog she has named my most successful entries including "inside or out what's the real matter that count?" "to make love or to make war?" "for a season or for a lifetime?" among others. Is nobody else than my own girlfriend Jennifer M. I have been thinking of how to put together this entry, it was a long conversation but I don't want to make it a long entry for you.
I have been posting videos on my blog's group on facebook, join in you are missing on some other extra content there, these are videos I receive from John C Maxwell he has this section daily called "a minute with Maxwell" yesterday I heard about the word "risks" I loved this line he said "putting this baseball analogy, standing at first base people want to go to second base while staying safe at first base..." is the fact that people want it all but wont take risks to get there, or the fact that people just want to accelerate everything and avoiding the work in between. You know, this is a big problem with us humans we expect rewards too fast. We enter in a business expecting to make a million in the first year, enter a business and expect to know it all in the first day, you want a job but you are not willing to go through the hassle of applying for one, going to interview and going through that first day where you don't know nothing. I understand is not easy going to work Monday-Friday and not seeing the family and friends that much, but also is true that people go too crazy with Friday seems is the only day of the week that matters. Hey how about the work you have to perform to get that money?
Respect the law of proccess an activity can't get completed unless it goes through a proccess. In Science there are steps to get to a study of something, there's a hypothesis, then there's collection of samples, observation, experimentation but before that you need to know what equipments you need and have a laboratory ready for experimentation, write the data collected, talk to other scientists on their experiences, then finally you make a conclusion on the experiment. This is the same with everything in life, the baby starts to get to know those people around him/her, then start realizing who's around the most, then the baby starts to get comfortable with those people, starts to smile to them, laugh, and later on realize these are his/her family. A person is not born walking they still have to go through a lot of process, sit by themselves, get on foot and fall many times trying to take that first step before actually walking.

Honestly he couldn't say better than that. We go through life thanking God is Friday, we can't have Friday without Monday, Tuesday... thank God (our the Gods) for giving you one more day. Would you be happy if all your days was from 11:59PM to 12:00AM then again 11:59PM to 12:00AM? well to start that only happen in video games (simulate an entire baseball season in one day) here's is the problem, the body need to rest 8 hours a day at least, if your days is only one minute you get old fast, can't rest or share with your family. My point is, you can't have what you want without going through what you don't want. As a good real estate agent you get ridiculous income based on your sales, but let's face it, doesn't matter how good you are, you don't really like to hear that question "Why is this house so expensive?" "Why you think is perfect for us?" 'why you trying to sell me this house?" they are technically the same question but very common. Let's face it, you have to convince the client which is not easy specially if you are not a people's person which I think is stupid work in a people's environment when you are not a people's person. But you have to go through that in order to sell the house and get your commission and put food on your family's table.
You see, the problem is that we want our spouse not to cheat but we don't do nothing that make them stick by the house, I understand you are a descent woman but that doesn't mean you can't act a bit different with your husband (if you know what I mean) it takes work to maintain a relationship unfortunately people find it hard to work for it. Cool break it up if you are not happy. Is it exciting with a new person? Of course it is. We talk about a new person with a totally different personality you have desires for, she/he has desires for you, there's a lot of mystery. Turns out that 2 years later you find out the grass wasn't as green as you though on this side, this person start to act up on you, and now you miss your old relationship. You want money but you don't want to get up to work Monday to Friday, have a business and don't run it properly because you are lazy you want the business to produce but you are not putting your passion into it. You want that big income your insurance company promised you but you don't show up for trainings and don't want to answer the question on why the client should buy your product and rid of the old one. No excited with your job? Go ahead quit (USA is going through an economic depression still 'thank you Bush not Obama the country was already destroyed when he came in) I assure you that you will go through hundreds interviews, and take a year to find a job, excited about your new job? let see if you say that two years later. The problem is that we don't want to go through fixing nothing, human beings some more than others tend to have acute laziness and don't want to go through stuff to get enjoyment. Money is not going to rain from the sky you have to work to get there.
If you had enough money to buy stocks in the stock market you wont make that much money in your first year, is likely that you reach one million from hundred thousand you invested and next day you are back in half of that million. Is a process you can't expect to win without any sacrifice, accept that sometimes is a longer process, accept that sometimes you have to take things slow.

Weird MLB Season yet?

This blog focuses on many other topic rarely on sports or anything else. Regular season for Major League Baseball finished last Wednesday and it was the weirdest season I have in memory, also was a season of milestones for many other players as well. Starting with the weird.
May 25 Phillie's Second Baseman Wilson Valdez recorded a win while pitching a perfect top of the 19th inning and got the win. This is not so rare because Colorado catcher Brent Mayne became the last position player to record a win back in August 22, 2000. This game started on May 25th 2011 at 8:00PM ET and concluded somewhere around 2AM on May 26th.
I don't remember what game was it I was just shuffling around channels and didn't see this clearly I couldn't find the information online neither but an umpire got injured during a game. This is weird because umpires get hurt but not this way. Umpires specially home plate umpires get hurt by foul balls, missed pitches but this umpire in particular suffered a right knee sprain.

Tuesday May 10, 2011 Usually when rain pours into a game the umpire wait for the at bat to be over, an at bat is never stopped. Only that this particular day was supposed to happen in Coors field Colorado. With two outs nobody on base no offense was expected so let's finish this inning shall we? As Dexter Fowler went through his at bat the rain and lighting got stronger to the point that the game had to be stopped 2 balls, 2 strikes 2 outs Mets leading 4-3 in the bottom of the 7th inning this could be a pretty long seventh inning stretch. The game was stopped after Fowler refused to strike out fouling a couple of pitches. The game resumed 50 minutes later with a new pitcher Jason Isringhausen. In Isringhausen first pitch Fowler fouled another one this time off his own left knee and couldn't finish the at bat. So time to bring a new batter and Ryan Spilborghs was walked three pitches later. This is the first time this ever happened. To get this at bat even weirder one of the members of the ground crew got trapped under the tarp.
The highest offensive team this season was Boston Red Sox led the led the American league in most stats run scored, hits, double, second in batting average, second in homeruns (Jacobi Ellsbury increased from 8 homeruns two years ago, broken rib played 18 games in 2010 to 32 HR in 2011) Red Sox also had 2 hitters leading the league in hits, five batters hitting over 300, and two batters among the top 10 in RBI. You could say this team would this team would win it all. Really? (see team stats here ESPN)
September 28, 2011 the final day of the regular season saw four teams fighting for the final remaining spot for the playoff. Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay devil Rays in the american league. Tampa facing AL east winners Yankees, Offensive machine Boston facing AL east basement Baltimore Orioles. You could say Red Sox won? wrong. Many rumors go around that the Yankees gave up the games so they don't face their nemesis (Yankees lost season series to Red Sox 9-3). In the national league Atlanta and St Louis were also looking for a playoff spot. What would make this season more than weird would be a game number 163 featuring Devil Rays vs Red Sox and St Louis Vs Atlanta.
September 26 I have heard about player trade but manager trade? Ozzie Guillén left the white sox with two days remaining in the season and one year remaining in his contract. He opted out of his contract with the White Sox, team that he led to become the world champions of 2005. September 27 he signed with the Marlins to become their manager in 2012. The marlins sent two minor league pitchers to White Sox. Ozzie played 12 years for the White Sox and managed the team since 2004.

ACHIEVEMENTS
This season was a season of achievements for many other players as well let see some of those
July 9, 2011 Well liked Athlete Derek Jeter became the #28 player in the history to accumulate 3000 on his first at bat on a full count he went deep at Yankee Stadium off Tampa Bay ace David Price. All his hits are with the Yankees he's also Yankee's all time leader in hits, and first Yankee ever to get 3000 hits. Jeter is a low key player rarely on controversy, hardworking, good leader and this is why he's among my favorite athletes.
September 14 Perhaps the most unlucky pitcher Tim Wakefield reached win #200 the 44 years old finally did it. Every time he pitches either his knuckeball get deciphered and smashed around the stadium or the relief pitcher destroy his game.
September 4 Adrian Beltré collected hit #2000 off former team Boston Red Sox (picture is from last year when he played for Boston he wears #29 for Texa Rangers)
August 8 Michael Young collect hit number 2000 all of them with Texas Rangers
September 19 Mariano Rivera 602nd save surpasses Trevor Hoffman (601) Not lying but at some point Yankees and Mets were my favorite teams still hold two of those good Yankees Mariano is one of them.
September 27 Apparently was a month for milestones Vlad Guerrero became the number one in hits among Dominican players collecting hit #2587 in 16 seasons passing Julio Franco (who also played in the Mexican League, Japan league) hits in those leagues don't count in the MLB. Looking for 3000 within the next 2 years? we have to wait and see.
September 28 closed the season and José Valverde saved 49 games in 49 attempts for Detroit Tigers
September 28 Jose Reyes of the New York Mets closed the batting title with a bunt single in the bottom of the first inning. Reyes increased his batting average from 282 the previous year to 337. In fact Reyes was batting 351 when he went down with injury he was #1 in MLB in hits and #2 in BA behind Adrian Gonzalez (359) both of these players struggled big time to a point that Reyes hit 330. Reyes increased his batting avg 55 points to become the first Mets ever to win a batting title in 49 years of existence of the franchise.

Weird things happened and many milestones also happened. By the way, every Mets fan like me know of the black cat game. I don't know if was some Mets fan who brought a black cat to the game vs Marlins and let it loose to create buzz but a black cat ran into the game at sun life stadium this September and back into the stands. On the original black cat game the Mets came from a deficit to become the world series champions in 1969. These Mets we have right now? Honestly all they miss is homerun power this year they only had 108 homeruns Ranking them 13 of 16 David Wright diminished from 29 last year to 12, Jason Bay if he returns healthy next year will be interesting he had 12 this year vs 6 last year and 44 the previous year with Red Sox, Ike Davis hit 7 HR this year he was 5th in the league before going down with injuries. The Mets tied first in doubles, 3rd in triples, first in hits, 2nd in Batting average, but struggled badly in games saved, ERA, too many blown saves, and HR. If the Mets stay healthy, sign Reyes, lock Wright next season, improve pitching and bring a closer to help Isringhausen it will be an interesting 2012 season for the Mets. Orioles just need to be consistent, KC as well. It got to the point that I though I would see Orioles, KC and Pirates in the playoff just to make the season more strange but they lost far too many consecutive games and saw themselves in familiar territories.
Ok I don't want to bring politics to my blog but I already expressed the Yanks are not my favorite team. The Yankees have a fine closer in Mariano Rivera a great second baseman in Cano and a good short stop in Jeter. Very professional guys not controversial. They will go down just as Bernie Williams no problem just a good athlete. Currently the Yanks are just a team collecting cleanup hitters they have in the lineup Texeira from Texas, (previous #25 was Oakland's Jason Giambi) Swisher from white Sox, Granderson (hybrid lead-off and cleanup) from Detroit. But they couldn't buy Lee who destroyed them on the playoff of 2010 haha. Talking about that playoff Yanks have the worst fans in sports. While Texas was mopping Yankee Stadium with their beloved Yankees all *fans ran away like roaches rather than stick by their team to the end. I though I was seeing a game from Arlington Park most fans were Rangers' and even the seats are blue (they are there when the team is winning only don't fully trust their team). Mets on the other hand are not that successful but it fans have learned to see their team either crash hard after almost winning to see the team escaping from a sure beat down to win the game. This is what you see when you stay the whole 27 outs didn't Yanks fans learned their lessons from the 2004 ALCS? Boston Red Sox were losing after losing all of the first 3 games just one out away from losing they came back and won the game and all other 3 to take the series 4-3. Boston Red Sox 2004 showed is possible if you believe and you truly battle. By the way the Yankees became the first team to lose 4 games in a row after winning the first 3.
The Yankees are also a bunch of cheap shot cheap win team. There was another weird event this season and was VS the orioles. They resumed play at 2:15 AM under a rainy muddy Yankees Stadium September 6. Then played again in the mud and more rain on September 7 less than 18 hours after the start of the previous game. They expected their already "superior" team would take an easy win but wasn't that way the Orioles lost the first game in a very long battle, then took the second game despite both teams being very tired. Baseball rules for all those who don't know baseball, if a game starts and for any reason (snow, rain, or other) get suspended after the bottom of the fifth inning, any team that is winning wins, if the home team is in losing but batting in the fifth inning they should wait for the home team to take the lead or the game should be resumed later. Clockwise Drake, Mariano Rivera, Eminem and Jose Reyes. Those are people we clap to, the question is Where are you in this picture? Yes you are the money that give them so much fame, when will you become MVP?

Today I woke up with my head booming in thoughts I felt alive, I even penned down what would be my very first video entry. I later check my inbox to find a great video by John C Maxwell regarding richness. I felt so highly about this video that I posted it on victor's space Facebook group. I soon found someone not rich enough. This individual instead of asking me directly who is John C Maxwell decided to show his ignorance by bombarding. "Oh drake is rich and younger than Johnny"
Nothing against Drake but he won't make a seminar to make me better singer, he won't write a book to inspire me to pick myself up after defeats, he won't write a book to show me how not to fall again. I participated of a webinar with Les Brown and John C Maxwell a few months ago. Nobody would take 1 hour of his time to teach me to be a good leader.Well I also have to thank those I'm in business with, teachers and parents for helping me become who I am today and setting up who I will be in the future.
You guys know is baseball season. As a Mets fan all I'm rooting for is for Jose Reyes to win the batting title. I am a huge Jose Reyes, Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, Mariano Rivera congratulations to him for becoming the all time leader in saves, and Pujols fan. All of them are great human beings, but I won't go to a blog to defend their careers because none of them would teach me nothing, and even if they come out of their game to teach me to be a better hitter, I will never make it to the major leagues. Teams are interested in young talents who they would build around for years to come. You have to be damn good to be a rookie at age 28. I am a huge baseball fan but I would not brawl over baseball. You see, I know I don't have the voice to be a singer so I don't care about Drake, Eminem and company. At the end of the day, brawling over baseball, brawling over Drake, Eminem wont make me money. They don't care all they care about is that I buy their music.
The problem is we live in a society where hip hop dominates, some kid write a song and come to take money away from others, someone can throw a ball through a hoop, can hit a ball with a stick, kick a ball and thousands pay hundreds to see "this talent" but few pick up a book that can help them on something. I attended Maxwell and Brown's webinar obviously they both invited me to come over to their seminar (that's one way they make money) the result would be become a better leader. Drake and Jose Reyes would never have a seminar to make me better at their trade. Reyes is busy trying to turn his franchise around, he would rather spend time of his time off teaching 12 year old boys how to play the came and doing some community services (which is great) Why would I spend time brawling online over Eminem, Drake, Jose Reyes, time that I could spend reading a self improvement book, listening to a self improvement CD and potentially learning something new. I purchase a CD from Eminem and the more I can do is start cursing people out. Is that what I want? I purchase a ticket and go to a game good time but I gave away money to see the team I root for lose. In the worst case my hero in this case Reyes gets injured during the game and there it goes my money. Even if my team win I win nothing from it. I could have read a book from any good leader and maybe next time my best friend don't quit my business.
The other big problem is that we have a society rich in youth but poor in brain. We decide is good to spend time wasting our life, investing in meaningless stuff rather than spend time building our brain. "Victor I'm Dumb" Well I have news for you player the best thing about humans is that we are adaptable it doesn't matter how you are at some point in your life you start building yourself around and becoming better at something. The question I have for you is when? When would you start to change your life? If you were to look at me I may not be up there yet, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that with the potential I have I can go really far. I have to admit too that I should work harder I'm not working hard enough. The problem with many of us is that we tend to throw the towel too early, the problem with some of us is that we tend to think we are the hardest working person in the world.

According to an article on Wikipedia on Ichiro Suzuki one of the most prolific hitters in baseball. His father put him in High School baseball and the first thing he said to his coach was "No matter how good Ichiro is, don't ever praise him. We have to make him spiritually strong." he wanted Ichiro not to get prizes too early and think he's that good. As a result the man has hit over 300 in all seasons except the current where he's currently hitting 272. He still think he's not that good at age 37. Led the league in hits seven times.
Ike Davis Mets' most powerful hitter when praised for his phenomenal Rookie season 15 games into 2011 season said "Just let me know what I'm doing wrong I don't like to think I'm doing everything correct"
All those professional athletes believe they haven't give their best yet. My question is, What have you done to believe you done it all? Why do you think you got to the top? You know why they don't want to admit they are good already? Because when you don't grow you die, if you think you are good, you start taking it easy and when you come to realize, you are in the back of the pack.
The video Maxwell team sent me to my inbox doesn't speak about richness in money and people tend to think that they are poor. I have news for you if you have an income of 7 million per year but your house haven't see a visitor in years, you have a lot of people around but you feel they despise you, you are as poor as that other guy who have nothing but 19 dollars in his bank account. Wait that's a lot of money in many countries, if you don't have many people who can say anything good about you, you are as poor as that family with only $19 Dominican Pesos in their bank account. You have to make yourself rich inside, make people to want to be around you, make people obsessed about you. You have to make sure you grow inside and make yourself indispensable for your boss. You want that promotion? go ahead get that extra skill that you require, pick a self improvement book. Those who know me well know that I was always very shy and reserved I made it through High School and some college and I never read in public. (hope my teachers don't take points away from me at this stage in my life) but I was so shy that I would shiver standing in front of the classroom knowing that all eyes are on me. Luckily I took some speech classes in college and learned to dominate that. Did I made myself richer? yes in skills.
But what matters more is the person you are, what may make people to always remember you. Jenn is a rare breed, she gets in the train and she somehow manage to start a conversation with a complete stranger, we get to any place and I can tell you sometimes is so intense that if Jenn was to ask the phone number to some people, they would drop the number to her with no complaint. She's extremely communicative, what's funny is that she actually gets nervous thinking of just talking to somebody. The difference is that she faces her fear and talk. She could have chosen just not to talk and free herself of that torment, she refuses to run away. If you ask me what's one characteristic I admire in that young woman I would pick this all the times.
Doesn't matter how many millions you make, those millions would someday get expended, what would never be spent is those qualities you acquire through your lifetime and pass it from generation through generations. It could probably make you immortal (not physically) but you will for sure live in people's mind forever.

Just a typical morning in new york before september 11, 2001

This entry is a bit nostalgic. Ten Years ago at this same hour many people suffered. I know I have readers in the countries that may not see United States with good eyes, I have readers in the entire world. I want you to start thinking if all actions taken by both sides are correct.
Ten years ago many people left for work leaving family behind and promising to come back, leaving pregnant women, dropping kids at school. many others just took a flight that never landed, others like me were looking for school and got forced to walk many miles on foot, many others went to rescue others and never came back, in the best cases they suffered visible and invisible injuries that may never heal, we all got hurt that day.
While many others decided over the lives of thousands of people. WHY? because these under attack had a different color of skin, believed in a different method of politics, had a different religious view. If you think they deserved what they got, I would like you to think for a moment how would your family feel if one morning you left and never came back.
You know what's that really make me mad? Religion was supposed to be a set of teachings from whatever God you follow, it was supposed to guide society to be better. Yet because we follow different religious some say Gehovah is the lord, others say Allah is the lord, some say is Buddha. At the end of the day doesn't matter who was the lord, whoever the lord was, was somebody good guiding the society to be better. We don't know who the lord truly was. What if all of us are right and God in reality were many of them just that they decided to divide what they were to govern. I mean you are the head of your household but you can't be the head household at your brother's house. What if that's the case? what if in the end there's Allah, Buddha, Muhammad, Jehovah all of them.
They all would like us all to behave well. How would they feel about today? today their children went to war against each other ten years ago. I think is time we take a good look at each other and start to cooperate with each other doesn't matter what religion we follow. After September 2011 I attended a great High School in New York with people from many religions, many of those are readers of this blog, they are my friends or aquaintances, Ironically many of them came to the United States running from the war US vs their country. This is why my facebook, myspace, tagged, hi5, google profile is blank on 'religious view' and politic because politics and religions are the disgrace of the world.
Today you are sitting here reading, lucky you and lucky me who typed this for you to read. What I want you to know is that you have a gift that's is life, what do you do with it? that rests for you to learn, just go and make a difference with your life. God gave you a new chance to live, go take full advantage of it. What if your life were to end suddenly? you never know, and you never know how would it end. Ten years ago, there thousands lost didn't know how was going to end, these in wars despite being in a war didn't know when, where, how but it happened.

Let's do something more productive with our lives besides hating each other. We only have one life we can't screw it up and get a new chance like in the videogames, we don't respawn like in Call of Duty.

Just remember this, we all have a "built date" we all know when was it. But we all also have an expiration date but we don't know when it is. Even those hospitalized with horrible injuries after 9/11 didn't know when was their expiration date. What would you do before that date approaches?

With all the people filing up for disability benefits, all the parking spots for people with disability I have started to question, When did the world became disabled? When do I know I am disabled?
Honestly I didn't have nothing to write until today (Wednesday) yeah I was mentally disabled, totally out of sync I'm a human being. Well let me get to the topic already. Have you ever heard somebody say "I have a disability"? I have also heard about something called will power and today and saw it in action and I feel so fortunate to see that. A message to you, keep up the good attitude, you don't know who you may end up influencing. I was down I haven't feel this low in pretty long time and I know that through the whole year this blog have been up I always showed you strength but if you saw me today, you would not recognize me. I will tell you later what changed my day for the good.
It make me boil my blood seeing people taking advantage of the government, the government that the working class feed. You know, we work, we pay taxes, the government find money and other people take it because they have a disability. I'm not trying to be insensitive here I know some people have true disabilities and can't deal with regular life. Not for the man I will talk to you about.
I was in an office building today. Ironically the place where people apply for disability benefits, health insurance and other benefits I was applying for health and don't look at me bad because everybody have rights to good health services. I will be so proud if this man is one of my readers let me know if you are here. I get in the elevator with a woman half my height, just before the elevator closed this man push a trash can through the door. Just by curiosity I looked at the man and I noticed the man is lacking his right hand, I look at the left hand and he doesn't have a left hand neither but apparently they tried to attach fingers to it. This man have no hands, unless he has a bright brain to dictate to someone with two hands and publish books this man have no possibilities of working at anything. Unless this man have a bright brain he can't be president neither. Let me tell you something Joaquin Balaguer Ricardo lost his sight at age 28 but he didn't lose his vision. Rafael Leonidas Trujillo the dictator of the Dominican Republic back in the 1940's to 60's saw how bright this man was and he gave him work as ambassador, state secretary among other roles. Mr Balaguer Ricardo then became president he governed the country for 28 years. He wasn't a dictator what happens is that the country saw how bright this man was and elected him almost every time including a time where he governed 12 years in a row. Mr Balaguer was blind and he was the president of the Dominican Republic countless times. Maybe some of you still think he's the president (he died in 2002) During his time as president the Dominican Republic experienced tremendous growth in almost all aspects. Added to his presidency this man was also a lawyer (which he never exercised thanks to politics), and he was a prolific, bright writer. Let me remind you this guy was blind.
Back to our man. I was down, I wasn't feeling good at all. It took this man to reopen the elevator's door and come over and change my day completely. I understood that whatever circumstances I'm going through, he was supposed to go through worse but he refused, he went through pain when he lost his hands but he refused to give up. He pushes that garbage can daily through the HRA Jamaica hallways, he refuses to sit down and receive government help. Ironically this man without hands is working, paying taxes and other people receiving government aid because that person have AIDS, because that person is missing an eye, because that person can't hear properly. Come on we are talking of a hand-less man here. You see, the advantage of this man is that he can ride a bike and say "hey look no hands" and everybody believe him. Not making fun of the man here just inserting a lame joke. If you think that not having hands is not a big deal. I challenge you. Pretend you don't have hands and try to do stuff you do daily like signing papers at your office. Let me tell you something, this man probably found a way to do that. Imagine for a moment how things would be if you didn't have hands. Hey make up artist, painters, cook, stay home mom tell me would it be easy? For this man there is no limit, instead of siting down complaining about how the government is not giving him enough money in public assistance (which he clearly is entitled to receive) this man chose to take a job and work like a man with two hands. Ironically working in a building where people with small disabilities go to ask for help. He keeps that building clean. I typed "like a regular man" but to tell the truth, he is a regular man a disability don't make him different. All my respects go to this man we shared the elevator only one floor or less than 2 minutes and he inspired me in that short time. If you guys and gals are reading this article is thanks to that encounter.
You know, I'm a strong believer that you are the one in charge of your capabilities, you decide what you can handle, you decide what you can't handle. For some reasons people end up doing unbelievable stuff when they get challenged. Even when we fail, we look back and say, "I still can't believe I did that", "well I couldn't do this but I did that" , "now I know I can do that" have you ever feel something like that? let me tell you one thing. When I played basketball I used to do just enough I never really played hard enough unless was clutch moments I would pull a block out of nowhere. Out of nowhere the guy letting the game slip away from him, commit turnover after turnover would become a tenacious defender and great passer. On one particular episode back in high school I remember driving through the lane and jumping so hard that I could see the top of the rim. Everyone was expecting to see that dunk. I wasn't that tall I barely stood 5'11" but I jumped pretty hard. When I got up there, I got scared because I haven't dunk before, I looked away and I ended up crashing the ball against the side of the backboard resulting on a ridiculous turnover. The same guy who previously blocked one shooter using a teammate as a shield to keep me away although I haven't show danger all game long. I jumped and blocked that guy on top of his teammate, collected the ball, passed it away, ran open down court, received a long pass, jumped but I didn't feel capable of dunking I chickened out. I was always the "just to make the 5" guy. One day in particular I got fed up because they were not giving me plays, I was so mad that I was ignoring when they told me "pass" I took shot after shot after shot. I remember scoring 16 of 21 points including some ridiculous fade away three point shots. I was mad, my true skills showed up, but by the next game after celebrating the win, I was back to the same I was before. I was lazy, I had potential to play really good but I never played to my full potential. I let anybody I played with to mold my style of playing and I didn't fight to prove them wrong.
In the united states specially New York City temperatures fall as low as 21ºF in some cases even 10ºF. She's my mother but I have to tell you the truth. The lowest temperature I ever endured in Dominican Republic was 65ºF usually the lowest is 75ºF only one occasion we got lower than 75 and that was December 2000. My mother always complaints about the cold, she keeps all windows closed all winter long, spring, and fall. She rarely leaves the house and sometimes she wears three sweaters and a coat. After 14 years here, she just can't deal with the cold temperatures, she's always sick. She didn't face the challenges put in front of her. You see, the difference between a capability and a disability, being great or fail is the way we react to a challenge. The man I spoke to you about he found himself with no hands, but he challenged himself to work even without hands. I look at this man and I wonder what would he have done if he had both of his hands I don't care why he lost his hands, this guy probably feel bad every time he wakes up and find himself with no hands; but he faces his challenges, he battle with the barrier that life gave him. He knows he was given a challenge and he has to live with it.

I'm so happy to see you here reading me one more time. You that have no disabilities, you have a gift, go out there and make the difference. "Victor I'm poor" and? Andrew Carnegie had nothing but 10 dollars, and a 6th grade of education when he came to USA and he became the richest man ever known. 'Victor I'm homeless" And? You are reading this you are probably in a library which is great, take this time to learn about the most famous homeless of all time. Mr Chris Gardner writer of "The Pursuit of Happiness" He fought through adversity and became a very powerful man. Maybe you can find a way to take out the DVD version or on netflix with Will and Jaden Smith. There's this young lady by the name Johanna. A very hardworking young lady but she lost her job when the Smash Burger she used to work at closed down. Seeking for work I met her at a customer services training. She resided in a shelter by then. One of the obstacles she faced is that to be in the program, she had to be there early, unfortunately she has to go through a lot of stuff in the morning and she would be arriving late. She had the choice of just not doing it. But she wanted this so bad that she spoke to the directors of the program including the teacher. They saw her hunger and conceded her an extra half an hour. Once she got there she was on, she was participating, one of the top students. Out of ten participating, only four got hired. She's one of them, she will be in the roster for the new Century 21 Store in New York opening September 18.
Our disabilities reside in our head, is up to you to challenge it and make a better future for you and those around you. You that have a disability, challenge yourself to make a difference, do something different, challenge yourself. Don't forget that there was a blind president/writer don't forget that if you haven't try it, you don't know if you can. What if you can and you didn't know?

MTA: Do they really worth the price tag?

Leakage At Fulton Street Subway Stop from Gothamist

Hello everybody and welcome back to a late edition of Victor's Space. If you are reading for the first time and like what you read, just enter your e mail address on the box on top of my picture and you will be able to receive this blog every time I publish. During the whole year of the existence of this blog I do my best to stay away from anything negative, but when negativity hit you close, you don't have other choice.
Last Week I was into a lot of activities and didn't have a time to think on what to write for you. On Wednesday I was running away from the rain, it caught me and the group I was with outside. We sheltered at the Winter Garden in Battery park city a beautiful place. If I knew what was ahead, I should have stayed outside in the rain. As we got a break, we ran to MTA Fulton Street (1,2,3,4,5, A,C, J,Z) station trying to catch a train home and trying to stay away from the rain. As I made my way down to the A,C platform a companion and me get greeted by two green vested MTA worker flagging us to the center of the platform. I hated the fact I didn't have my camera with me and the batteries of my phone were dead as well. What I saw is the same thing the people from Gothamist blog saw and what you would see if you please click "play".... Did you see it? we didn't have umbrella, we were not expecting any rain on Wednesday Aug 10th. But apparently MTA wasn't expecting rain at all.
That station is near future WTC 1 (liberty tower) and future WTC 4, 911 memorial park. Boasts high end shops like Century 21, also a concert hall in the shape of Winter Garden, the terminal for the ferry to liberty island. You can see, is a highly turistic area and is a can't miss stop for many tourists, very likely the first stop. Yet Is this the face MTA make the city of New York greet tourists and Newyorkers?
When I go to interviews for any job, I'm looking to meet someone very important, a business trip. I always have a nice suit and a nice tie on, well groomed. The purpose is to make a nice first impression. However MTA is not interested in that. I would tell you what's going on here and then I would tell you my plan of action if I was MTA president. While the average minimum wage for the city of NY is 7.15, that wage is unacceptable, you could possibly get 10 and hour in most jobs. HOWEVER the minimum wage at MTA is 18 dollars an hour in some cases just to sweep the station and keep buses clean (never succeed at that) some workers end up as high as 23 an hour that's triple the minimum wage of the city. In the past 9 years the MTA have introduced us to a bunch of cool gadgets MTA introduced R142 in early 2000's for the #2, 4 and 5 line, R142A for the 4 and 6, R143 for the L line. Later on we get R160 for the L, M, N, Q, W(defunct line) R, J, E and F these trains help you not to get lost because they provided clear recorded messages as well as display you the message including what stop you are at and what's next stop. That's pretty cool stuff isn't it?

Traveling the subway two years ago I got surprised that the L line was telling the riders when the next train was arriving. It was shocking to me. Then this got extended to the 2 and 3, then the 4 thru 6. Pretty nice gadgets right?
These gadgets doesn't make any sense if you are afraid the train station some of them 100 years old or more would give up on top of your head. I know you was "wow cool" reading the paragraph above. I believe you forgot the video you just saw. You know what? take another look and come back to THIS paragraph (capitalized was to mark you where you stopped reading to see the video again) see it doesn't make sense. Is like I get on a nice suit, nice tie, groom well but guess what! the hiring manager is wrong I'm not qualified for the job of doctor and I don't even speak English to start with. MTA is planning to increase the fare once again. This is what I heard at that station I said "I can't believe I'm paying for this crappy service" someone else yelled "I can't believe they are planning to increase the fare for this" "this station is a piece of ..." I want to tell you why they need extra money. Here are some bullet points for you.

While the boss (average New Yorker) get paid a minimum 7.15-10.00 per hour to start a new job. MTA employees start at 18 per hour.
MTA offer ridiculous benefits including excessive paid days off and get this, they would pay days even months off if an MTA employee get spat on. While in the street that would spark a fight, in the MTA would spark a bunch of calls for vacations. They get "traumatized" and have to be taken off service while they get paid ridiculous money.
MTA hires an auditor for over a million dollars to overview their health care plan and eventually cut service to many relatives of employees
MTA focus work on the second avenue line which would aleviate the congestion at Lexington avenue but nearly abandon the rest of the system. Disagree? go check the video again

Let start from the beginning and I would highlight the second and third bullet on this paragraph. This article from Amny actually shocked me big time. While the United states struggle with lack of job, some jobs don't have sick leave and many others reduce benefits. MTA actually allow a mostly 200 pounds man or tough woman get away with this. I work hard for my money and if I spend it on something, err transit, transit better work hard for me. If I were to spit on one of those individuals in the street I would get into a big fight, they would respond. If I spit on them while they have the MTA uniform on they would likely lock the bus so I don't escape, call the supervisor, I get jail time and this individual get house time.
Friend: "Jerry why you are not working?"
Jerry: "I'm traumatized"
Friend: "Did you crash someone on the tracks?"
Jerry: "No, some idiot spat on my face I need time out"
Sounds like a joke but that's the reality, a shameful reality, some are getting paid for offering no service for a cause not so serious. 191 days off! Are you kidding!! this is one reason why they had to cut other employees "to save money" this is why that station is deteriorating. That station in particular was closed for 6 consecutive weekends and 4 other separate weekends for repairs. The station finally opens and well, we all know the results. That day in particular and probably today too since is pouring outside the E train which runs on 8th avenue was re-routed to sixth avenue from west 4th street to Roosevelt Avenue, the same with the A and C line because water fell onto the A,C, and E tracks on West 4th street as well. Of course there's lack of money these people are resting in their homes and getting paid for no work, they are not producing for the company. I agree with MTA saving some money but criminalizing their own employees is not right. This other article on AMNY over MTA was my second top hated all times. You hire a $1 million dollar auditor to cut health care to some people they thought wont qualify including wife or husband of employees and retired. I believe that health care is the number one thing that should stand. I believe that if you are the only working spouse the company should cover that unemployed spouse. Why? with health care the working and non working spouse get faster medical attention. Less time out for the working spouse which mean more production for the company. This measure of the MTA was criminal and negligent and they should stop it.

PRESIDENT VICTOR M PLAN OF ACTION :)

First thing I would do is look at the current needs and see if I need to hire new employees. I would definitely cut hires for about 5 to 7 years.
Cut my salary and other executive salaries
Cut down salary to those employed over 10 years by a 5%
Hires under 10 years would gradually decrease their salary until they end up at minus 3 dollars per hour
Freeze all salary increase for 5 to 7 years
Don't acquire any new gadget during this stage
Cut all those cry babies with a 45 days notice
Keep fares as they are
By year four hire temporary electricians and construction workers to aid the rehabilitation of the stations. This stage I would call it growth... You know why the MTA have no money? paying too much money to the employees and having too many lazy people around. Having temporary people working with the possibility of going full time is cheap and likely would advance work fast thank to the fact they want to show they are worth the position
By year eight I would resume acquiring new gadgets, restore the salaries to the old status and gradually increase salaries to where they were supposed to be by this date.
Survey the working force and see if I need new workers at $16 an hour no longer 18 an hour.

The whole purpose is have a descent service in nice looking stations, have it affordable so that mean it would call more riders. I know there are some people that don't ride the subway because it looks like a moving trash can. Doesn't matter how much money you make, nothing can beat a low price ride from the last of Queens to lower Manhattan with no traffic congestion.
MTA is planning to accelerate works on a new subway line in the largest transit system of the world when they can't even handle the existent lines. Basically abusing of the New Yorker offering us low quality services and increasing prices.

Hello everybody, as always let me thank you for reading this blog and passing it on to those you care about. I have to thank you for the overwhelming support on my last two entries. I am very lucky to have a wonderful audience like this. Before I go into today's topic let me tell you, I was intended to do a different entry but things failed, this entry came up to me yesterday which I would explain to you in the following paragraph. Victor's Space formerly known as Victor's Corner turned one year today. On July 27,2010 I introduced myself to you barraging against the metropolitan transportation of NY in "Should we fire the MTA?" In reality this entry was first published on Myspace. Yep there was a website under that name that used to be pretty cool back then. I already started a Facebook group of discussions, I feel that I'm posting but I am away from my followers I want to get a little closer with all of you if this is ok with you. If you don't mind getting a little closer to the author and others behind Victor's space as well as other readers, here's the link to the group, Click here, join in, Not necessary to add me as a friend just join the group and enjoy. You know, often we ask ourselves why things don't work right?, why things don't come the way we expected?, I didn't get this I didn't get that and that or even that. Well I think we are starting to notice the problem already. I wasn't writing this entry I was focused on getting the next entry done as soon as possible but I was a little blocked. Yesterday my girlfriend was coming over to visit me, I read on my phone the following "Vic you are not gonna believe what happened in the train, I'm still in shock." What happened was that this woman was traveling with her 3 years old son, she started to argue with this woman before boarding the train my girlfriend was already riding. Here come the gravity of this matter. The two women continued to argue some of the argument was about her son, suddenly there's a fight, a fight break out inside the train. The reason of the fight? A seat none of them was willing to give in the seat. Meanwhile the poor little kid is frightened he doesn't want to come in because there are two giants (no that there were big but for a three years old, any adult is a giant) the kid was terrified because there were two giants fighting in his path and can't move. The train was about to leave the boy in the station, my girlfriend this is one reason why I love her so much; she frantically pulled the kid into the train just before the train closed the doors. BELIEVE IT OR NOT the woman kept on fighting the other woman over the seat. She did not worry about her child about 5 stops later which is equivalent to 2 miles. She obviously set her priorities, but did she have the right priorities?

A L Williams a man so hated by the insurance industry but they have reasons to hate him, the consumer have no reasons to hate him at all. Anyway, A L williams said about priorities that you have to make sure you set your priorities right, Family is first, God is second, then your business. You see, some people talk so much about oh my family this my family that, but this is how they operate. Get up early, let the older sibling or a babysitter to drop the kids at school. work the entire time, come back home and tell kids "leave me alone I'm tired" then go to sleep and do the same the next day. How is that working for the family? this person clearly is putting business or job before family, God hopefully is put second (if this person pray every night before bed) but otherwise God is put last, is weekend, too tired to go to church is time to be with my kids before I go to party :0 OH WOW. How about this other one? the person work all day long, hardly see the family, Saturday spend it in bed resting. "Dad I have the championship game today" the father's response is: " I have to go to church" or " I have a meeting to attend" tell me people, how is that kind of lifestyle right?
People tend to forget what's first or set the first priority wrong. Yes chase your first priority but end up empty handed. I once started in a project for a book but I got lazy and never even got half way. I had a bunch of ideas but never put the book together. One of the notes say "man is crazy over getting rich, crazy over getting that treasure that he forgets his family, all he does is yell and ask family for favors but is never there for them." "seeing his negligence his family move out of the house, his friends now dislike him" Well shame on me, that's a very good line right there I believe that you should always keep in mind what's first and doesn't matter how much you go after those other priorities, your first priority is first all the time. Taking ALW classification of priorities I believe that you should always be there for your family and friends, remind them how much you love them. If you follow any religion I believe you should talk to God at least once a day. See the pattern? people in your life are first, because when you are gone, they will keep your memory alive. Remember that time you got fired from your job? how about you, Remember when you quit your last job? Did you die? it let you know now that ALW is actually correct, money is last priority. Sure it get you a lot of fancy stuff and make your life easier. But money have the tendency of leaving you quick and sometimes leave you without even announcing is leaving. I believe that if you are at work you should call your home and talk to your house, ask for your kids or siblings.
Remember when I started the entry talking about "how come I don't get this?, or this or that?" One of the most effective weapons is the sniper rifle. What makes the sniper rifle so effective? First of all I have never held a gun (except on call of duty I have killed what could be the total population of Haiti, maybe Jamaica queens) I know of guns maybe less than you. What makes the sniper rifle so effective? it has an eye piece, cross-hair that blocks whatever is around you and focusing exclusively in the target, unlike other guns that make you miss more shots thank those you fire. I believe I have stated my point here. When you don't focus in a specific goal, when you don't know what your priorities are, is very likely you end up all over the places, is very likely that you don't succeed at it. And don't tell me that you don't have none. Even if you are a teenager struggling to graduate because your Math is a mess. I believe you should focus on getting better at Math that's a secondary priority because I believe you want to graduate right? then that's your priority. I want you to know that priorities change as you go on with life. Graduated, no family of your own, no job? well I believe your priority should be getting a job before finding that perfect match for your family. If you are past your years of raising a family I believe your main priority should be staying healthy to enjoy more of the family you raised.
I believe you should know what your main priority is, what are your secondary priorities, satisface your main priority and keep working on satisfying your main priority rather than be all around. I took this picture from another blog I will give you the link to that other wonderful article. This person picked the correct picture for that entry. Notice what the balance has on the beer representing fun and the books representing work and responsibilities. "How come I never get to do nothing right? nothing come out the way I want it... Success is not for me" My friend, with all the respect you deserve I don't think you are working as hard, you are not that focused. Or maybe you are putting too much pressure on you and letting obstacles take over you. Pay attention to this: A profesional basketball player in practice could shoot around 75% from the field, a good three point shooter could hit around 65% in practice. Let's go into the game now, the pressure that you have to win (pressure) may reduce effectivity, in rare cases some players grow bigger in games. No problem, we have the defense (obstacles) Now instead of 75% we have a star player shooting 45% unless is a center who usually shoot 50%-65% high percentage shooters I didn't even think of how higher they would shoot in practice because the percentage is ridiculous. We have a three point shooter going from 65% to 42%. How do this applies to you? When relaxed no pressure, sure you can perform well at anything. But we have to accept that life is full of obstacles to overcome. We all have to learn to overcome them not give up to them. Obstacles will always be there to challenge you. But let me tell you, if your priorities look like the picture above, then there's no secret on why things are not coming right for you, you would be in for some empty life. Should work harder than the fun you have. I never expected to get a quote from this guy but I got one that stuck all the time

To make love or to make war?

For this particular entry I really want to hear your opinion so voice it out.
On June 24th New York did something that have people fuming, in fact they will be for years to come. They approved same sex marriage just on time for the annual gay pride parade. The question here is, What is wrong about this picture? is the fact that some people were granted their happiness or the fact that NYS approved something that is morally wrong for the ideas of one or many other people?
Laws: According to Wikipedia is a set of rules and guidelines enforced by a set of institutions. I might add to that the fact that is a group of people who sit down and start to decide what's wrong and what's right. These people often look out for their own interests rather than everybody else' interest. Is a group of "good people" this is why we can trust these rules. In the end, Are we all benefited by the law?
For some people some things are right others are not, and they write the laws based on what they think is right. Then they push us those laws down the throat and tell us why we should agree with them. Then we grow with those laws and when someone come and overturn those laws, hell break loose because we see that person as overturning something that was correct. When our children grow, probably they will see this from another angle, they are indeed who would give the judgement to this law.
It's not a secret that Gays and lesbians and transvestites have been despised by society to the point of not being allowed to enter church "because they are soul of the devil" EXCUSE ME who said that? I might sound revel to some of you excuse my language on this entry but Who said that? A priest? well let me tell you that they have some gays entering the church already. The funny thing is how strong and bad they speak about homosexuality. I grew up in a society that hate homosexuals, they talk all kinds of stuff about homosexuals. In fact the biggest insult is call tell a guy "you suck men's part" not exactly in that way but I refrain from bad language on this blog. I am the type of person who don't follow the crowd, I like to find my own facts. And just to prove society is not always right. Around two years ago some priests were being prosecuted by the law and the church itself for raping altar BOYS and girls? I had to put emphasis on altar boys because isn't homosexuality the act of two people of the same sex engaging in sexual activity? Well there you got a homosexual inside church to make it even more ironic this homosexual is hosting the mass where homosexuals are not allowed to attend.
I believe God protect his people. If these following God believe in God, they would not forbid them from coming into the church. I believe if homosexuals were indeed souls of the devil, God will prevent their entrance into church himself; I don't know let a brick fall on their head, a lightning or something. Some have gone to church anyway, these who have taken the decision of hide their sexual preference. God can see, that guy/gal can hide all he/she can but is impossible to hide from God and again, if being homosexual make a person a soul of the devil, why that person still go to church and nothing happen to him/her. Why do they allow this guy...? wait keep on reading, you are going to have a treat today.
I have started talking about religion because I believe that sometimes our decisions, our laws is based on religious beliefs as well. It is not a secret to no one that this social group have been prosecuted and in some cases tortured and assassinated. WHY? just because they fall in love with people of their same sex? It's not a secret to no one that homosexuals and transgender are the most hated group in society.
A few weeks ago I got back in touch with a good friend of mine, great person, friendly and good conversationalist. I was upset to the fact that my friend is selling sex. BUT WHY? I will answer you that question as well. She is denied employment because she's a transsexual. This is the country of freedom where freedom breathe in any corner YET my friend can't work because she feels she's a woman, dress like a woman, named herself as a woman, but has a penis as a man. Use a translator to translate this article I can't believe this. This is the country of freedom yet a country "under development" took a step toward freedom that "the country of freedom" hasn't take yet. Congratulations Argentina for recognizing that coming in the wrong body has nothing to do with productivity. Or is this the fear? Perhaps our straight men and women are afraid some super talented transsexual take the attention of your office by bringing great ideas and becoming the go to person. Honestly that would be good to change the way some offices operate all old with the same outdated way of operation. Still they allow the cross dressers to work that guy who can't wait to get home and become his own female version. I don't think sexual orientation should influence in the fact that a person is hired to work or not.
I believe the step taken in New York is a step forward. I mean what is this country about? we allow you to create blogs, post whatever you want on youtube, make porn, drink, voice your opinion to the president, hate other countries, make all the money you want, did I say bomb the other countries? use drugs but if we find you, you get arrested. YET you are not allowed to marry anybody you want. How is that system of though right?
If you talk so fervently about God how being homosexual is a sin, how powerful God is. Explain to me how come there are homosexuals "sons of the devil" into very religious families maybe inside your own family. Honestly I have interacted with many people in my entire life including lesbians, straight, gay, and transsexuals (tranny), and "closeted" honestly the best conversations happen to be with the hated side of society. Statistics show that the highest rape rate is among straight people, highest use of drugs in among straight, highest suicide rate is among homosexuals. Why do society hate them so much?
It hurts sometimes to be different, society see you as out of order and doing something that is not supposed to be. How about this kid growing in a family traditionally of farmers, mother, grandmother have a great voice, and so is this kid. This kid discover his/her dream while listening to his/her favorite musician and decide to use his/her gift to entertain people. Spend hours practicing rather than working in the farm. I believe me and you agree the parents would think this kid is wasting valuable working time trying to be a star. How about the family of doctors and the offsprings decided one want to be a business person, the other one a comedian? I believe we agree this person is seen as crazy. Is the same with this family traditionally straight and this girl who always had problems dating guys show her mother the one who truly make her happy is actually another girl. I think we agree this mother would be super furious, specially with the "what would people say" to be honest it wont do nothing in your favor.
It comes a time where we have to learn to live with each other, accept each other without discriminating each other. In my opinion New York took a step forward toward advancement. I even joked on my friend Brenda B status saying "I finally will be able to marry my boyfriend yay" No I have a girlfriend but I was happy. These people pay taxes like us unlike transsexuals who have been denied work, they rent houses like us, they contribute to a better society by staying away from crime. Why deny them be happy with each other? I celebrated the occasion watching "I now pronounce you chuck and Larry" I know I will be blasted by many of you, but I have no reason to hate them. If they are souls of the devil and God is so powerful I question, how do God allow them into very religious families. I don't care what the bible says, I'm starting to doubt the total accuracy of this book, it was written by humans and is for humans to make mistakes. It was written in another language and we know that translations are never exact. I am the author of "El espacio de victor" (my Spanish blog) and this your "Victor Space" and I can tell you, the translation is not so exact. I interpret some words in a different ways. I have learned to just be a good person and that's all I need. I don't need religion to be a good person.
And now that I'm bashing religion anyway, Jenn and I were shopping last weekend in family dollar and there's this kid drawn to this car set from the movies cars. He was accompanied by an adult, Sunday, all wearing suit. You can tell these people come from church. The man stop the kid to tell him "look I'm not your father, my brother is your father not me..." REALLY? according to Christians aren't we all brothers and sisters? help me out here. He unloaded all this on the poor kid we are talking about an uncle over his 8 years old nephew. And that people is the kind of people writing our laws, those are the examples of religious we have out there. The kind of people who once wrote rules to kill homosexuals, the kind who once forbade the marriage of same sex in New York but allowed two people to marry just because they had sex and the man got the woman pregnant and both oppose to abortion, they don't love each other they just like to have sex with each other. These two were allowed and are allowed to marry everywhere. The one of two men who love each other blindly, two women who can't live without each other, the man and the once a man now transitioning to woman was forbidden. Thanks God someone opened their eyes. Later that day Jenn and I recorded a test video which was supposed to be a radio-like recording for both of our facebooks and possibly for Victor's Space as well. But I was so upset over the incident that I could barely understand myself speaking. Jenn was flawless but I was erratic.
I believe who people love doesn't make them as a person, I believe the way you act, the way you are inside is what indeed make you as a person. Love so you will be loved, respect so you will be respected. Live life, be a good person, always do the right thing. Do what make you happy as long as it doesn't harm others

Education, what you say you have or what people see you have?

Yes I know, this happened a week ago. Hey still hot!! damn Gay marriage legislation here in New York is the new trend. Anyway when this happened I was working on my past Entry "inside or outside what's the real matter that counts" thanks for your overwhelming support on that entry. Well I have to admit I pushed the envelope a little promoting this entry. Hard to believe in a single day in less than 4 hour you guys visited that entry 23 times. Taking down the all the ones that were all time leader. Well at least they still show in the lower part of this blog.
Well, I hardly post in between, this is supposed to be one week, then one week rest and then publish again. But bear with me with this brand new entry I couldn't let this one go by.
Education is always a big issue for families, they want their kid to attend the best schools, they want their kids to be professionals, they want their kids to be an example to follow. Every parent want that. I bet you want that. Even if you don't have kids yet I bet you want the best for them when you have them, if that's what you want, continue going to school (if you are a student) and make yourself an example to follow. As a parent I bet you are checking your kid's activities on the computer if your children left this open, let me tell you that your son/daughter is plugged to the worst blog in the world pass this around to your neighbors. But seriously I believe you want the best for your children.
However there's one thing we miss. Lately parents are becoming lazy, they drop kid after kid, so many that they can't even handle. I believe there's a limit for everybody. My grandma Cristina had 11 all of them really good people well educated. But there are people that bring three maybe four and half of them are a disaster, they don't educate them properly hoping school will give them the education they need. Well I got news for you, school is full of parents just like you teaching (not taking nothing away from good teachers including my own who might be reading this right now) I got news for you. The parents left their kids to teach Math and reading not to do your work. Then you start complaining "Who the $#$ taught this to my son?" Well I have your answer, street, other kids, you name it.
I believe that when you have education, education should flow out of you, shows thanks to maturity and the way you react to certain issues, how that person handle him/herself in public, choice of words. There's not math, Science that teach you that. A month after I released this entry I ( I edit when I launch it in Spanish) I participated in a program to train to be better at customer services. It worked this way, we would read something then we would talk in open discussion about it. While walking home with a classmate she approached me and told me that I'm a little confusing, I talk too mature but I look young. Her surprise was when I revealed my age I'm indeed young. I didn't tell her the schools I went to, I didn't tell her of my training. I'm speaking about it here just to tell you the story. Education is something that start in the family, inside the house. If school was all the education we need, then my grand father would be the least educated man you would know of. He only finished 2nd grade and his family is extensive and well educated and knew how to socialize, if I he was alive you wont believe that man had so little school education he only learned to read and basic math and that was all. My father finished the sixth grade was awarded the eight grade but never attended for many issues not exactly because he wasn't looking to amount to something. But I assure you if I put my father in front of you in a suit and with a briefcase. As a matter of fact just his regular clothing, many successful educated people didn't use a suit at all (example A L Williams), the way he express himself, the way he handles himself you would think he's a college educated man. However he will show you his level of education when you assuming he's a college educated man start talking of stuff only someone with a level over High School would answer. My father hasn't get kicked out of a train, car, bar unlike this woman.
After reading this statement I believe the question here is, What's the real education is it in a school or a family? It doesn't matter where you graduate from if your family didn't educate you well you will be a complete animal. These two men I previously spoke about never knew the feeling of graduating but they learned to be disciplined, so much that when they got to school, they quickly absorbed a lot of information that they used for the rest of their lives. That woman up there is full of knowledge but zero education and consideration.
I started two paragraphs above saying: that education should blossom from you, people would see it. This is the one big problem with some "educated people" they see you working with transportation, parking, cleaning, etc and they tend to diminish you, they tend to talk too much crap about their skills, they tend to open their mouth too loud about the school they went to. By the way that should be on the resume not the conversation. I even joked on one comment on that article saying "I'm surprised this wasn't my cousin" hurts but I think there's one of those in every family. Someone capable of throwing you her resume during a family reunion. Imagine how uncomfortable is saying "hey is my cousin" that's embarrassing you publicly. The surprise for the doctor who insulted the cleaning lady, how meaningless she is. Two years later she get the shocker that the new sensation of the hospital is a lady that graduated with honors and happen to be the former cleaning lady. Or that the "meaningless" cleaning lady is retiring because she accomplished her goals, the reason she is retiring is because her children finished college and one is the new doctor in the hospital. Never judge nobody you never know how it would hit you later on. Education should be recognized. The fact that you are educated don't give you the right to literally throw up your resume on top of people. I believe is either insecurity (the need to show you are better than somebody else) or lack of education.
Some "educated people" feel the need to barrage their entire career and instead of helping you sometimes they prefer to try to put you in ridicule. Well is the same with these three army guys hiding with a AK47. One these guys was given one a tank, the other one placed on a Gatling, the other was seen incapable of operating a Warcraft equipment or even surviving. These two went on a rampage. Only that something failed, the guy in the tank ran into a mined camp, the guy on the Gatling gun got a grenade, while the one with the AK47 survived. Sometimes is not what you have what matters but how you use it. Have a lot of experience, "education" but don't know how to deal with people. You are dead meat. I wish I was working where this woman works just to enjoy the daily jokes on this video. I'm sorry I should be neutral. Anyway I would enjoy that, wont you? sometimes you think you are immune but in fact your are not, you are rotting. This is the problem I see with "educated people". You are educated? show you are educated, someone with less education would look at you and emulate you. I think that make a better society.

Yes you guess right, she was the joke of the whole train trip which is what happen when you try to ridicule people who have done nothing to you. It hit you right back making you the laugh of an entire nation. In these Youtube times.
My uncle T. H. say all the times "I get to places, you see people oh I know this I know that, while I stand there like if I don't know nothing. I don't need to let people know what I know because they didn't ask me. I'm there just seeing people's knowledge acting like I don't know nothing and trying to see if there's anything else for me to learn. But if I'm asked to demonstrate what I know, run for cover." I believe I'm done with this entry. I don't think there's anything else to say.
