Manmohan's plans to get her married to an Indian boy are all in vain. When Jasmeet is introduced to the friends of the Brown family, she is subjected to considerable racial profiling (snake charmers, Indian rope tricks, tandoori chicken) as well as a quote from Winston Churchil to wit: 'When we leave India, the country will be in the hands of goons'. while Imran is asked by Susan's parents to fore-go Islam, become a Christian, change his name to Emmaneul or Ian, as well as provide a written undertaking that his family is not associated with any terrorists. The questions that remain unanswered are: will love prevail between Imran and Susan on one hand, and Jasmeet and Charles on the other? And what is the impact of this marriage on Arjun, who now has been demoted from Husband to the Best Man?

After a disastrous start, they are given some work by the editor of "Khabardar", a publication that exposes the scandalous lives of the rich and the famous. They accept it and start working with the editor herself, Shobha Singh. They also decide to enter their name in a contest to win Rs.5000/- and take a number of photographs all over the city. In one of the photographs they see a man with a gun. Upon enlarging it, they find out that the killer is none other than builder Tarneja (Pankaj Kapur). Upon further investigation they find out that he has killed Municipal Commissioner D'Mello (Satish Shah) and left his body behind some bushes. Before the duo could get to the body, it disappears. Disappointed the hapless duo continue working with Shobha. Then they find out where the body is with Tarneja's rival builder, Ahuja (Om Puri). They locate it and take a number of photographs of the corpse, and wheel it with them with the hopes of exposing Tarneja. They provide this information to Shobha, who in turn starts to blackmail Tarneja, who in turn plants a bomb to kill her and her two associates - but unfortunately the bomb explodes right in the face of Tarneja and his employees' faces. Then the duo take the corpse, and wheel it with them, but not before Tarneja, Ahuja, the new Mun. Comm. Srivastava (Deepak Qazir), Shobha and others also get involved - resulting in a comic mix-up with burkha-clad woman. The climax is set upon a stage dramatization of Mahabharat, which hilariously turns into the ill-fated romance of Salim and Anarkali - with the corpse taking the part of Draupadi and Anarkali, and the vile Duryodan pledging to save Drupadi's honor at any cost!! What will be the fate of the corpse and our hapless heroes is only seen to be believed!!! Rated as one of the finest classic comedies of Indian cinema. Don't miss this one!

Kaushalya approves of Suman, but Kishan does not, and asks her to get out of his house and life, as he feels that she has taken advantage of his hospitality. Karan returns and is enraged at Kishan's behaviour. Prem is unhappy with his dad's decision, and he decides to leave home and be with Suman. But Karan does not approve of Prem, and will not let him come anywhere near Suman. Prem will now have to prove himself to Karan, that he is not the same as his dad, and is worthy of Suman's love.

But considering the artist at the heart of the film, I'm not surprised. HWY is very special. Every frame reminds the viewer that there was a man in the late 60's of immense power who dared to search for the unknown, who attempted to shake up America with words and images. He tried to tempt the gods as it were, like Loki, a man on a mission.
