Tepig is one of the three Pokemon characters that can be chosen as a starter Pokemon of the Isshu region in the new Nintendo DS Pokemon Black & Pokemon White video game. Tepig is a Fire Type Pokemon and a Fire Pig Pokemon species introduced in Generation V. Since Tepig is a fire pig pokemon, it has the ability to blow fire from its snout, which comes in handy when it gets hungry because Tepig will use its flame to cook its berries to eat. Tepig is also very quick and agile, so it can easily dodge attacks. If Tepig gets sick, smoke will shoot out of its nostrils instead of flames.
