prototype circuit that became the 'brain' of a robotic sculpture that i'm making. i'm building the first dozen or so for an installation in october. each robotic agent makes some sound mechanically in response to the ambient sound it 'hears'. as i was testing the logic of this prototype, i got super excited and made a video. sorry for the quality- i shot this on my phone...</content><link at the time. i was testing a simple robotic sculpture prototype. it responds to the ambient sound level by striking an object. in this test i used a kalimba. i intentionally made the system feed back by pointing the mic at the kalimba. eventually there will be lots of these little guys, hanging from tree branches. when the installation goes up, i will post a final video. sorry about the quality-
