There's not really anything specifically about vignettes, but in the last few pages of the book they show some fan creations, including Hippotam's Double Trouble, a previous winner from the Classic-Castle annual CCC contest, and Sachiko Akinaga's Goldfish Balloon, an entry into the annual ClickBrick 16x16 scene contest.
