We need to get this sorted out by next season.

Ladies cricket been watching the England ladies play and very well they are doing to but the pace of the bowling is something to be desired am I the only one who sometimes you can not tell the difference between spin or medium pace. Also they need to learn to hit the ball to the offside.

But they are very pleasing on the eye watching a lovely blonde running around than a hairy geezer full of tattoos so I am all in favour of more women's cricket on the telly.
He was not happy Saturday as he was placed to bat at 8. Not sure why this is but have told him to be patient and his time will come. Captain told him 3 times he would come on to bowl then put someone else on only bowled 4 overs and his figures where 1 for 12 and talking to others in the team he should have had a couple more bowlers curse dropped catches.

Well Sunday come and he must have been angry as he played in his U15s game eventually got his chance to bat in his favourite position at 3 and hit 62 not out of 44 balls so not bad. Had a J Rodriques cup match which was cut short because of the weather so they only played 20 overs each side.

The season will roll on myself could not get in the team as for some reason we have so many players dropping down so see what Saturday brings

The course did seem a easier than I thought or maybe after 7 years of coaching I was ready for the course. I am now thinking of doing more coaching even taking part in the chance to shine program going into schools. If cricket can save one young lad or girl going in the wrong direction then we will have succeeded. Cricket is a great sport and the more young people we can get involved then I am sure society will be a better place.
With Australia 157-7 and England just scrapping home 158-9 with new boy on the block Chris Woakes with his 19 from 15 balls. With Watson having an absolute great game and still finishing on the losing team must have been a horrible feeling.
But Cricket really falls into insignificant s when you look at the news and the pictures of the terrible floods that are engulfing Australia at the moment the only way I can think about this is if this had happened in the UK the whole of our country would be under water. I hope and pray this will all subside very soon god bless you all
We only have them for an hour but they should benefit from this. There ages are from 8 up to 10 so they are young and plenty of positive coaching rather than negative coaching, By this I mean we will encourage the good parts as I feel it is very easy to pick faults with anyone who is learning but by being positive and working on the good things they do we will bring them on much better. We will include teaching them the laws of the game.
Let you know how we get on Friday

Regards

Trevor

What a win it was as well. With England with possibly the best England team for year let's hope we push on and keep the momentum going. I am so impressed with the bowling attack we have you can replace anyone of them and I still feel at the moment who we bring in will just fit in. I am sure Alastair Cook is wishing he could play in Australia all the time what a remarkable series this young man as had breaking record after record and I will hold my hands up for questioning his place with in the team.
I can not remember seeing an Australian team look so down in the field and the poor fielding. I hope England avoid a defeat in the last test against Australia at Sydney otherwise a draw may be good enough for England to retain the Ashes but this is the first time for a long time that we should win in Australia. I did not agree the English lads where aloud to celebrate after the last win the Champagne should have been put on ice until after the Sydney test.
Punter as been dropped and Michael Clark given the captaincy rumours flying around in the press are the Australian public and players are not happy with the choice let's hope they are right. I am sure though Australia are hurting and will come back at England very hard would be a foolish man or women to underestimate them.
All the best for 2011
Great bowling from Time Bresnan and well supported by everyone else With Swann bowling well and building pressure at one end and Strauss managing to rotate the seamers Australia were always up against it.
Will this be Punter's last match in charge and who will replace him what a difference normally it's England that are looking for answers but now the fear factor as really gone from playing Australia they now seem normal like the rest of us.
Now we just need to wrap things up on the forth day and England will retain the little urn that means so much to us.
Then as long as we do not loose in Sydney we will win in Australia outright which will be a much better feeling than only drawing.

With some great batting from KP Trott and Prior should be game over for the Aussies. Giving there wickets away they must learn to leave the ball outside off stump. Watching sky they was saying you only drive or play with a cross bat nothing in-between at Perth. The weather forecast here in England is not looking to good but down in Australia the weather is good and who would have thought if England win the 3rd Test in Perth we will retain the ashes. We could even go undefeated for the whole test series which would be a marvellous achievement.

Will be interesting as some of the England batsmen have not had much of a bat will be interesting to see if they ever need to get some time out in the middle any ideas on who will be England top batsmen in Perth.

Back here I am starting to gear myself up for the winter training for our youth sections we are doing winter nets for U9s right up to U16s so a busy time getting training sessions together.
The big game starting down under at Perth. Will Australia bounce back or will England carry on with their fantastic form. This test is so important for both countries as if Australia lose it will be the first time England have kept the ashes since the days of Mike Gatting and what a great chance we have.
The only downside for England is now Broad but I am sure we will still be able to take 20 wickets to win where Australia on the other hand I am not so sure. Who will Punter turn to to take the 20 wickets your guess is as good as anyone's. Lets hope we have a fantastic test match and good luck to both countries.

Well snow is forcast for me in Essex next week but at least will have the next test in Perth to look forward to. Be interesting to see who replaces Stuart Broad in Perth myself I am not to sure would rule bresnan out of the running as we have enough batsmen who can get the runs we need a wicket taker so we can take 20 wickets and get the Australians all out twice. Be interesting to see who Andy Flower goes with.
