Traffic Alert: Roundabout Closure

2026-09-14T08:13:07.011-05:00

The roundabout at Allouez Ave & Main St will be closed Friday, September 18 through Monday, September 21 as part of the Wisconsin DOT US 141 Resurfacing Project.

The closure will begin at 5:00am on Friday, September 18 with the re-opening being dependent on when the work is completed (tentatively Monday, September 21).

Barricades will be placed beyond the last driveway/intersection, so there will be no disruption to property access. As a reminder, it is very important not to move any barricades and enter the closure area as it can cause damage to your vehicle, the final product, and/or a worker’s wellbeing.

Please plan ahead and follow posted detour routes. For additional information regarding this project, please visit the Wisconsin DOTproject page.

🚧 Public Trail Improvements Are on the Way!

The Village of Bellevue, in partnership with Asphalt Seal & Repair, will be completing maintenance on roadside pedestrian trails along Eaton Road, Huron Road, Allouez Avenue, Monroe Road and Lime Kiln Road.

📅 Scheduled: Tuesday, August 25, 2026
🌧️ Rain Date: Thursday, August 27, 2026

Work will include cleaning, crack filling and sealing to help extend the life of the trails and improve the surface for walking, biking and other uses.

⚠️ Temporary Trail Closures

Each trail will be completely closed to all users while the sealant cures. Please stay off treated trails until they have fully cured. Using the trails too soon can damage the new surface and affect the quality of the finished product.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we complete these important improvements!

Landmark Blvd. and Costco Way

2026-08-17T10:50:13.953-05:00

The Village Board voted to temporarily reopen the median at Landmark Boulevard and Costco Way, with the hope of improving access and traffic movements through the intersection until planned improvements begin. The removal of the temporary barricades is in direct response to the considerable amount of road construction in the immediate area.

The temporary barriers are scheduled to be removed Tuesday, August 18, at 4:00 a.m., reopening the median to traffic.

This reopening will remain in place for approximately eight weeks. At that time, construction is anticipated to begin on a permanent improvement to the intersection, which will reconfigure the median to include a left turn option for traffic turning north on to Costco Way and permanent restrictions to cross traffic and all other left turn movements.

Residents: Be Cautious of Election-Related Mailings

2026-08-13T15:01:14.475-05:00

A recent question from a resident brought an election-related mailing titled “It’s Time to Register” to our attention. The resident, who is a long-time registered voter, contacted the Village after noticing that their name was misspelled on the mailing.

We would like to remind residents that not all election-related mailings are sent by or affiliated with the Village of Bellevue. While some materials may appear official, we encourage residents to review them carefully and contact the Village if they have questions or concerns.

In this case, the mailing was not sent by the Village of Bellevue. Several details indicated that it did not originate from the Village, including:

The return envelope was addressed to the “Bellevue Clerk” rather than the Village of Bellevue Clerk.
The resident’s name was misspelled on both the letter and return envelope.
The letter included a QR code directing users to Privacy.Flowcode.com, which is not affiliated with the Village of Bellevue.
The contact information directed questions to support@civictech.io, which is not a Village of Bellevue email address.

If you receive an election-related mailing and are unsure whether it is legitimate or affiliated with the Village, contact us before providing personal information, scanning a QR code, or following instructions included in the mailing.

For questions about your voter registration or other election-related matters, contact the Village of Bellevue at elections@villageofbellevuewi.gov or (920) 593-1692.

For accurate and up-to-date election information, visit VillageOfBellevueWI.gov and select Residents → Voting & Elections. Residents can also visit MyVote.WI.gov to verify their voter registration, request an absentee ballot, find their polling place, and access other official election information.

Thank you for your service and commitment to the Village of Bellevue!
