Clean Up Day!!
In an effort to keep Crooked Tree  Village clean for visitors and tourists, a group of concerned residents spent the day cleaning and improving the site of the police station. 
You may remember that the Crooked Tree Police Station was burnt to the ground by arsonists on February 9, 2010. The center of Crooked Tree Village is now spic and span after the group joined hands and

Using historical materials and personal interviews, the documentary tells the story of some of the over 800 men who traveled from British Honduras (now Belize) to Scotland in 1941 to work as foresters. Their stories and the stories of other Black men and women from the commonwealth can be seen at the Imperial War Museum

The prime minister of Belize, Dean O. Barrow, a University of Miami law school graduate, will make his first official visit to South Florida from June 25 to 27.
The trip seeks to bring Barrow closer to South Florida's Belizean community in an effort to foster investment and business opportunities.
The visit coincides with a weekend series of events that include an investment trade show in Miami

The King of Belize Brukdown Music , Mr. Wilfred Peters passed away in Belize City on June 9th at age 79 after a brief illness.  A Belizean national icon Mr. Peters was one of the country’s best loved musicians. After over 60 years of playing, he  defined Belizean Creole culture through his distinctive Brukdown music style.

Winfield Tillett is the son of the late Robert (Bob) Tillett and Mavis Tillett nee Brown. His mother is still alive and residing in the Breadnut Hill area of Crooked Tree Village, Belize where Winfield was born on February 12, 1947.
