This wine was exquisite! Very unlike any that I’ve drank lately, it was smooth and the tannins were almost none existent. This honestly would be in the top 20, maybe top 10 of wines I’ve had. I really enjoyed it that much, and so did my husband. ❤️

This gets a 9.9 on my scale

This beautiful red wine is a blend of 54% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot (my fav), and 3% Cabernet Franc.

The legs were dancing on my glass and the tannins were alive on my tongue. I enjoyed this wine, immensely! Regretfully I don’t know how much it cost because my son gifted it to me :).. this would be a do over! My husband and I finished the bottle 🥰

Razor's Edge Shiraz/Grenache Blend

This 2008 quickly became a favorite of mine years ago when I had it in a restaurant in Las Vegas. The bottle is 8 years old now and the legs still dance across my glass and I still love it. Considering the value of this when I bought it, still worth it.

I'm not sure if this can be found any more as the last time I was at the winery I bought the last 18 bottles they had, that was many years ago now. I've saved these for special times. It still it amazing!! Dark and has legs that dance all over the glass. It has not disappointed me yet.

It's brilliant, even at 9 years old!

What a lovely bottle of 2012. It was a bit fruity and the not to much of a bite at all. I'm usually not a big Zin drinker but this was bought for me. I enjoyed it and would drink it again, I would even buy it.

Alexander Valley Vineyards Pinot Noir

This 2010 bottle of Pinot is delicious. Five years old and its aged gracefully! It's legs are dancing ALL over the inside of my wine glass. The bite of the tannins are strong but acceptable for a smooth Pinot. It has a beautiful deep color. Luxurious scents rise from the glass and it has a smooth rich taste. I've had this bottle for a few years, just decided to crack it open. Thankful I have more.

Apple Bite French Organic Hard Cider

Hey the French are making hard cider!?

It actually tastes like cider with bubbles, notice its cloudy cider appearance.. Tasty!
It's only 4% alcohol so not as strong as a big bold red but it's refreshing.

Like this a lot. Picked it up at whole foods. Not sure if the "organic" is worth the extra cost but it was tasty.

Love this!! Smooth perfect! Drank the whole bottle! No cork, it's a very cool glass plastic sealed stopper. I plan to reuse the bottle. There is a rose on the bottom of the bottle.

The tannins are pretty strong yet in this wine, the Mourvèdre didn't soften it at all. As soon as I drink it I have a bitter "dry" taste in my mouth. It's tasty, but I think it needs to sit on the shelf a couple more years.

Ohhh my... I had forgotten several things.. First off how much I love Ledson and second off how much I love Pinot! OHHHH MY!! Drink it!! BUY IT!! This is worth it! Why am I saving this? It's about enjoying it. The legs are amazing, it's just incredible.

This is a perfect 9.8 at least.

I must admit I added this to my collection some time ago and just have not thought the moment special enough to pop the cork... Tonight as I looked at so many of my Australian wines I was saddened by the twist tops. There is just something still sexy about removing a cork, I do not care what anyone thinks, it is what makes wine special. So I loved this Cab! Big Bold, Rich, Succulant, Smooth, Brisk, so many ways to describe it. The legs on it danced on my glass and showed me what 14.8% was suppose to look like, it was amazing. The winery says let it breath... I did and it was fantastic. Would I buy it again? YES! I liked this alot, but I still tend to prefer blends.

Well this was an $9.00 bottle at Cost Plus World Market. It has a good scent, but it seems only like a teaser. Tasting it, it has a familiar taste to it.. It's a bit sour, a bit peppery but its a basic dry red wine.

2007, Cork About $55.00 This is a Nice Blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 9% Malbec, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. Had this with a great dinner at the Capital Grille in Las Vegas, oh my did it strike my fancy then and yum! This is really good! So many delicious wines to choose from, obviously you do not have to spend this much to get a great wine, but sometimes paying the price gets you a better with?! This was incredible. Love it! I will buy it for home enjoyment for that special occasion, obviously at $55.00 a bottle it is not for everyday drinking.

April 2013 - Here I was back in Las Vegas again, looking on the menu for a wine to go with my meal, much to my surprise this Conn Creek was there!! I am sure it was a different year, but after one sip I knew it was just as good as the previous year and I was pleased with my choice and my dinner guest trusted my choice.

A fantastic blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 13% Petit Verdot. Another bottle I recieved through my wine club purchase, so I do not remember how much it cost, but it could not be more then $30.00.

The Cab and Merlot give it just the right amount if dryness, the Petit Verdot smooths it out. I love this blend. Very nice and it finished my steak of nicely.

Alexander Valley Vineyards - Wine Club Reserve Blend, Sonoma County, CA

Cork / Vintage 2010, I am not sure how much this cost as it was sent to me as part of my wine club membership and I already filed the invoice away. I found this to be a beautiful blend of 50% Syrah, 40% Zinfandel and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. I have had it for a while, and just finally got to open it. Absolutely delicious. As always AVV does not disappoint me! This was smooth, and subtle. Just the right amount of everything, no bitter after tastes and not dry at all. Scores a high mark on my scale. Yum... and the bottle is empty :)

Okay, I still buy for labels, and I love dragonflies, and when I saw this label I had to buy this wonderful blend right here from Washington state. It is a nice blend of 60% Merlot, 25% Cab, 10% Malbec and 5% Syrah. I am not a big Merlot drinker so this was a bit drier then I like but I did enjoy the bottle and I drank it all. :) Because of the dryness I can't give it my highest scores, but again don't let that detour you as it really was a nice bottle of wine. The dragonfly is all about trusting your instincts, so try it especially if you like Merlot!

Okay, first off I had this with a friend yesterday and we smelled it first and it certainly smelled different then it tasted.. so taste it first! This pinot had a bit of a bite, but it had a good bite and it went down smooth and had good finish. It was good in the nice pinot glasses that I had just purchased at World Market. I think I will buy more of this wine as we both enjoyed it. I served it up with some home made white cheddar mac and cheese.

Okay, so everyone that reads my blog and knows anything about my favorites know I love Yangarra Cadenzia a GSM Blend.

Well the Third Man is also a GSM blend, broken down like: Grenache with 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre. It is PURE heaven!

While in SeaTac at Vino Volo I also tried this wine and was blown away! Oh my gosh, this is so bloody good. At $65.00 a bottle I was floored, but I bought two bottles without a second thought. I have since found it is cheaper at WWW, but I may try a few more places. This is an EXCELLENT bottle of GSM! I will buy more and more and I believe it has earned its seat next to my Cadenzia as a fav!

Yesterday (3/18) I bought the last bottle of this at Wine World... so I hope they get more, but I hear I can find it elsewhere... Get some it's AWESOME ! ! !
