Garcia Carrion é proprietária da bodega “Jaume Serra”, situada no alto de uma colina que desce suavemente até o Mediterráneo na localidade barcelonesa de Villanova e Geltrú. Suas origens se remontam a 1647, ano em que foi construído um lugar chamado El Padruell. Por isso também conhecida como Finca Padruell. A bodega atual está rodeada por uma finca de 125 hectares de vinhedos, com uvas das variedades: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo e Chardonnay. “Jaume Serra”’ elabora na D.O. "Até cinco anos atrás o Languedoc, marcado pelo Mediterrâneo ao sul e os Pirineus a oeste, e que, por conta de vinhos geralmente magros e duros, era uma espécie de patinho feio entre as regiões vinícolas do país. Mas, com o avanço de novas técnicas, o Languedoc passou a domar com maestria suas principais uvas, a Syrah, a Grenache, a Mourvèdre e a Carignan – e o resultado são vinhos potentes, frutados e, na última década, muito macios. As uvas do Les Cocobirous são colhidas quase um mês depois do início da maturação, o que proporciona ao vinho um sumo muito concentrado, que transborda aromas de geléia de frutas e um final levemente mineral. Grande parte da resistência local ao Languedoc foi vencida de fora para dentro, graças ao sucesso no Exterior de vinhos festejados por seu estilo francês, sem dúvida, mas com preços de Novo Mundo. Pierre Galinier conta, por exemplo, que 40% de sua produção é para um rosé comprado quase inteiramente por holandeses, alemães e escandinavos. Gianni Tartari, sommelier da Enoteca Fasano, diz que, em oito meses, esgotou as 1.200 garrafas de “Les Cocobirous 2000” (R$ 129) e “2001” (R$ 170)". &lt;br /&gt;

“Les Cocobirous” (uma expressão do dialeto local que significa “pedras que rolam”, em função dos seixos que formam o terreno da região) é uma mistura de Syrah com Grenache e Carignan. Coloração rubi escuro, aromas de geléia de frutas, levemente mineral. concentrado, taninos domados, saboroso geléia cassis, apesar do teor alcóolico, um pouco fora dos padrões franceses e mais para vinho do novo mundo é estruturado e elegante.&lt;/div&gt;

“This sweet marvel is a real find. Tabali is one of the new stars of Chile from a brand new region far to the north of Santiago in what is practically desert but usefully cooled, like so many vineyards on the Pacific coast, by the ocean. The company was just making this wine for the domestic market when UK importers Boutinot spotted it and thought that it would go down well with British wine lovers. There is no point in keeping this wine – but it should enliven the end of many a meal for the next year at least. Alcoholic strength is 14%, presumably thanks to the grape drying” (Esta maravilha doce é realmente um achado. Tabali é uma das novas estrelas do Chile, numa região distante ao norte de Santiago, praticamente desértica, mas de alguma forma fria, como tantos outros vinhedos na costa pacífica. Viña Tabali (300 Km ao norte de Santiago) foi a pioneira, e uma das únicas instaladas no Vale do Limari (1993), próximo do deserto de Atacama e a 29 Km do oceano Pacífico, proporcionando dias quentes e noites frescas. Destaque para Reserva Syrah 2006 (melhor Syrah até £20 pela Revista Decanter) e Reserva Especial Chardonnay 2006. Atualmente pertence aGuilhermo Luksic e a San Pedro Tarapacá Wine Group, em 2007, junto com aquisição da Viña Leyda, formaram a sociedade “Viña Valles de Chile S.A.”, que controla ambas as viñas, mas cada uma com autonomia própria, mantendo suas identidades  e filosofias enológicas.&lt;br /&gt;
Garrafa de 375 ml, coloração amarelo ouro, brilhante, aroma frutado,  fresco, na boca sabor de maracujá e damasco, com notas mel, oleoso com boa persistencia.&lt;/div&gt;

“O espumante ORUS Rosé Pas Dosé, elaborado pelo método tradicional ou champenoise e com ausência total de açúcares, o que equivale ao Nature. A produção deste pequeno lote de ORUS é feito em homenagem os clientes que nos privilegiam com sua preferência e possibilitam o crescimento constante de nosso carro-chefe o Brut Rosé Adolfo Lona. O pequeno lote (2008) liberado em 2010 de 621 garrafas anuais, devidamente numeradas, cujo ciclo de produção é de 12 mais 12 meses, ou seja doze meses maturando sobre as leveduras onde ganha a complexidade aromática e gustativa que o tempo possibilita devido a autólises das leveduras e doze meses envelhecendo com a rolha definitiva quando ganha sutileza, elegância e potência. O assemblage é uma mistura de vinhos de 3 variedades, Chardonnay, que participa com seu frescor, Pinot Noir em rosado que agrega força, e uma pequena parcela de Merlot em rosado, que complementa com elegância e ameniza a acidez. A cor é a típica dos rosados feitos pelo método tradicional, rosada laranja clara lembrando casca de cebola, seu aroma é intenso, complexo e convidativo e o gosto é longo, marcante e potente. É um espumante que dignifica o Rio Grande do Sul e nos deixa muito orgulhosos”.&lt;/div&gt;

Adolfo Lona (Argentino de Mendoza) veio para o Brasil em 1972, contratado para o início de operações da vinícola De Lantier, fundada pelo grupo Bacardi-Martini no Brasil. Em 2004, após 33 anos como enólogo e diretor da Bacardi-Martini no Brasil, Adolfo Lona aposentou-se e decidiu produzir vinhos com seu nome, trazendo ao mercado&amp;nbsp; produtos de grande personalidade, frutos da criatividade e da experiência deste enólogo pioneiro da vinicultura brasileira de qualidade. &lt;/div&gt;

Um Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel da excelente região de Moulis en Médoc. Vermelho rubi escuro, com reflexos granada. Aroma intenso e cheio de finesse e de tipicidade de Bordeaux, com fruta madura e bem definida, muito musgo, bosque úmido, especiarias. Madeira aparece em segundo plano, bem integrada. Paladar de bom corpo (sem exageros), taninos secos, sérios e finos. Ótima acidez, que lhe dá elegância e longevidade. Estilo clássico com ótima qualidade, para guarda&lt;br /&gt;

Petit Verdot – também conhecida como Verdot é uma variedade típica da região de Bordeaux, na França, principalmente usada em misturas bordalesas clássicas. Amadurece muito posteriormente que as outras variedades em Bordeaux. Bastante usada em cortes para dar cor, aroma, acidez e taninos. Quando jovem, seus aromas lembram banana e serragem; quando envelhecidos, lembram couro. Tem coloração violeta e paladar médio.&amp;nbsp; Chateau Poujeaux pertencia à família Theil desde 1921, foi comprado (2008) por Philippe Cuvelier (proprietário Clos Fourtet em St-Emilion), tem sido modelo de um excelente cru bourgeois, e em 2003 foi promovido a cru bourgeois exceptionnel, essa categoria não existe mais, mas o Poujeaux mantém as características que o fazem um vinho excepcional. O Chateau Poujeaux 2005 é considerado por Neil Beckett um dos 1001 Vinhos para beber antes de morrer. As safras 2002, 2003 e 2004 são recomendadas por Stephen Tanzer.&amp;nbsp; Este Poujeaux me pareceu melhor do que o 2002 já degustado, um vinho de coloração rubi, elegante, aromas discretos de madeira frutas maduras, vegetal e especiarias. Corpo médio, taninos finos, boa acidez e estrutura, um clássico. O que surpreendeu foi o preço, o 2002 foi bem mais barato, até em dólar o preço subiu, será um reflexo da boa pontuação, mais uma vez influenciando o mercado do vinho?&lt;br /&gt;

A vinificação segue o método charmat e dupla fermentação, o mosto, obtido mediante uma ligeira espremedura das uvas, é posto a fermentar ( primeira fermentaçao) a temperatura controlada de 15-16°C por 10 dias aproximadamente. A vinícola está instalada em Lujan de Cuyo, na província argentina de Mendoza, e tem como uma das proprietárias a brasileira Erika Goulart, neta do marechal Gastão Goulart&amp;nbsp; (Revolução Constitucionalista de 1932), que no final da década de 90, descobriu terras em nome do avô nas quais haviam videiras plantadas a partir de 1915 e decidiu produzir seus próprios vinhos, sendo sua primeira safra comercial a de 2004, &lt;br /&gt;
Coloração rubi violáceo, aroma frutado com notas de madeira e tabaco, boa estrutura, taninos médios, frutas vermelhas (amoras e framboesas) e chocolate. &lt;br /&gt;
