This is the Roy Bachanan owned/played/signed '52 Fender Telecaster. 25.5" scale. 1 5/8" nut width. 7.8 lbs. Roy Buchanan is one of the most important guitarists of the last several decades. His gorgeous earthy tone, his fiery blues, and fantastic Tele bends have inspired legions of guitarists everywhere. To get our hands on one of his actual guitars was such an incredible experience. You can feel the mojo coming off this one when you hold it in your hands. This is such a gorgeous example- pine body, perfectly played in...this beauty absolutely resonates bringing forth Buchanan's infamous Tele tone. As this was one of Roy's personal guitars, he modified it a bit- '67 Tele neck with jumbo fretwire, 80's pots, brass nut...all done while chasing the perfect tone and feel. When you plug this in, you immediately get that 'worn in sneakers' vibe- immediately comfortable with that great earthy tone Buchanan is known for. From nashville cleans to overdriven blues- just an incredible piece of history and an amazing player. This auction includes the Fender tweed hardshell case, paperwork from the the gentleman that personally purchased the guitar from Roy, and Roy's signature right on the top bout of the body. This is an amazing opportunity for a fan, collector, or player..."

1962 Gibson Les Paul SG Standard

YouTube Published on May 3, 2012 by alancirwin

<img style="cursor:pointer; where you'll find more pics.

"Here is the holy grail. For sale is one of the rarest Les Pauls you'll ever see. This is literally THE LES PAUL, and this one has all the bells and whistles. This has, hands down, the best craftsmanship you will ever find on a Les Paul. Over the course of the three years these were in production, only 77 were made. 59 of those were in natural finish, and only 18 total in wine red finish, making this an amazing find. This is still in unplayed condition with the original protector "chainsaw" case and the original Gibson paperwork included. This is number 66 out of 77 total. The last 11 they made were natural finish, meaning this was the absolute last The Les Paul made in wine red finish. This boasts a carved flamed maple top, maple back, all rosewood plates, rosewood pickguard and knobs, rosewood outer bindings, red-stained inner bindings, gold-plated hardware, ebony-rosewood-ebony fingerboard, abalone block inlays, pearl button tuners, pearl plate on back of headstock with limited edition number, and 2 super humbucking pickups. This is quite possibly the most impressive Les Paul you'll ever come across. The back of the headstock is stamped second and I honestly could not tell you why, nor did Gibson ever say why anything they stamped second. From the serial number we can attribute her date of manufacture to 1964.This SG is cherry red, and has that unmistakable Angus tone.

These pickups are just plain screamers. They read 7.20 k ohms for the neck pickup and 7.21 k ohms for the bridge pickup. The potentiometers are date coded for the 52nd week of 1965…perhaps this guitar was held back.

The body of this guitar is in very nice shape. A few dings here and there, but nothing substantial. There was a minor repair done to the heal of this guitar. It is barely visible to the naked eye and does not affect the playability at all. The

cherry finish is still very beautiful and has some nice checking on the face.

The neck! The neck of this guitar is awesome. It is not one of those flat skinny necks, yet it is not one of those baseball bat necks either. Just perfect and plays like butter. The original frets, tuners, and truss rod all work as intended. All the plastic, as well as the Maestro vibrato are original and work as intended. There are 2 screws which the heads have been sheared off on the low E side of the vibrato lyre tail-piece. It does not affect the sound or the playability.

The guitar weighs in at a scant 7 pounds and will ship with a later hard shell case."

1959 Gibson Byrdland Jazz Guitar

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 314px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3SzpVghGI5k/T7q4oEXHgfI/AAAAAAAAEv4/fxRDnNfepcw/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqR%252C%2521oQE-yuj4iNQBPub%2521O%2529ewg%257E%257E60_3.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745107273169469938" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Qom1iG6uWes/T7q49Y5m5EI/AAAAAAAAEwE/s-rvNHqXTpU/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqNHJEwE-uwKHetMBPtoby%252CQH%2521%257E%257E60_57.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745107639460095042" />
via this auction where you'll find more pics.

"Up for sale today is this awesome rare 1959-1960 Gibson Byrdland Guitar with PAF Pickups. The guitar overall is in excellent 100% original condition. Serial #A34xxx. The frets and fret board are in very good condition with plenty of life and play left. Pickups sound great and overall this guitar is a tone monster. The gold plating has worn on the pickup covers from normal play. I don't think you will find a nicer sounding or looking guitar for the money. If tone matters, don't miss out on this one. The sunburst body is in great original condition as can be seen in the pictures. Guitar has tons of vintage mojo and there are no major body/neck cracks or breaks. There is some shrinkage on the neck binding that has resulted in a couple of cracks. Please see pictures. Comes complete with original Gibson Hardshell case w/ key and original hangtag with matching serial #, directions for the bridge, pickups and directions for placing the bridge. The case is made by Lifton and features the famous pink interior. It is in solid condition but does have some duct tape around the edges..."

1972 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop '54 Reissue

<img style="cursor:pointer; It will ship in its original and rare brown with pink lining hard shell case. At 48 years of age, this rocker still has the same original vibrant cherry finish that it was born with…it hasn’t faded to brown as many of these guitars have done.

The two blistering PAF humbucking pickups give this guitar the killer sound that you just can’t copy, especially with any new guitars. They read 7.66 k ohms for the bridge pickup and 8.45 k ohms for the neck pickup, both measured at the output jack. As you know, the potentiometer date codes are on the sides of these potentiometers. We were able to see only one date code clearly, and it reads the 40th week of 1961. The solder and all electronics are original and untouched.

This is one of the finest examples of a 1961 Les Paul /SG we have ever seen. It has a few very minor scratches, but they are hardly noticeable. The tuners and truss rod work as was intended. The neck is straight and fast and has that beautiful flat profile that makes these guitars such great players and so sought after. The all original frets are almost new…it’s truly amazing."

Vintage 1954 Gibson Les Paul GoldTop Guitar w/OHC

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 321px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5mlYO3gqAjA/T7qsdvkIRMI/AAAAAAAAEus/DDpTAE9Cifc/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqNHJCME-iH4Rc%252C9BPtp8CvkmQ%257E%257E60_3.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745093901648676034" />
via this auction where you'll find more pics.
webuyguitar$ (RSS)

"We purchased this very nice example of a 1954 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top from actor, martial artist, and musician Steven Seagal. This baby has everything …it’s all original, has two screaming P-90’s, a great neck, and will ship to you in its original Lifton, brown with pink lining, five latch hard shell case. There is no provenance accompanying the guitar.

This guitar is all original. The tuning machines and truss rod work as was intended. The frets are original and have some wear but there is still plenty of playing time left. There is some very typical checking in the finish on both the front and back. Overall, this is a very nice looking guitar.

This classic Gold Top has two very well matched screaming P-90 pick ups. The neck pickup reads 7.60 k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.79 k ohms, both measured at the output jack. The potentiometer’s date codes are on the sides so we could only clearly see one of them which reads the 19th week of 1953. The maple neck is routed to accommodate the truss-rod and then the maple finger board is attached to the top of the neck. There is no “skunk” stripe that is normally found on all maple necked (fingerboard) Strats.

What can we say? This guitar was given to the original owner when she was still a young girl by her father. She had been doing well with the acoustic guitar and her Dad figured that an electric would be the next step. After trying it for a very little while she realized the electric just wasn’t for her and so…back in its case and under the bed it went for the next 40 years.

This guitar has all of its case candy…the Fender warranty/instruction booklet, key for the case, two inspection slips, Fender cable, and Fender leather strap. There is no noticeable fret wear other than a tiny bit on the first fret. The neck is straight and the truss rod and tuners work as was intended. The body is immaculate but for a small dent on the back of the guitar about one inch below and slightly to the right of the tremolo cavity cover. There are some very minor scratches.

The electronics in this southpaw are untouched. The pickups read 5.47 k ohms for the neck pickup, 5.60 k ohms for the middle pickup, and 5.55 k ohms for the bridge pickup, all measured at the output jack. Two of the potentiometer codes read 21st week of 1970 and one reads 14th week of 1970. This beautiful guitar weighs in at 8lbs 4 oz. The plastic Fender badge on the case has had the little tail of the “r” cracked off. Other than that, the case is all original and quite minty."

Vintage 1965 Fender Stratocaster Candy Apple Red Guitar w/OHC

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iQ1tFInvHOw/T7qrnoBVxLI/AAAAAAAAEuU/5hGn3tbStXA/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqVHJF%2521E-oFUbwjIBPto6epQFg%257E%257E60_57.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745092971910775986" />
via this auction where you'll find more pics.
webuyguitar$ (RSS)

"Here’s a beauty…a 1965 Fender Candy Apple Red Stratocaster, sn# L977XX featuring a white guard, transition logo and pearl dots. This guitar is in a solid 8.5 condition with some arm wear. It gets its sweet tone from the original, well balanced set of pickups and will ship in its original Black Tolex case.

The neck date on this monster player is Sept ’65 and is a B neck. The guitar has had a pro refret and still has plenty of meat left on it. The neck is straight and the original tuners and truss rod work as intended.

At some time in its 45 year old life the original pickguard was taken off this guitar and replaced with a newer guard, putting two extra holes in the body and in the aluminum shielding plate.The holes have been doweled and, of course are only visible when the pickguard is off. The original pickguard has been put back on.

The pickups have gray bobbins and are dated 10-19-65 (neck) and 10-20-65 for the middle and bridge. They are initialed MZ and AS. Measured at the pickups, they read 5.88 k ohms for the neck pickup, 5.47 k ohms for the middle pickup, and 6.02 k ohms for the bridge pickup.

All potentiometer codes read the 10th week of 1965 and this Candy Apple Red beauty weighs in at 8 lbs 5.8 oz. The potentiometer codes all read the 32nd week of 1965."

1959 GIBSON ES-345 SEMI-HOLLOWBODY

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mCRLZozMA60/T7qqy8o62zI/AAAAAAAAEt8/aa-_tlRpFgY/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqNHJEwE-uwKHetMBPtoby%252CQH%2521%257E%257E60_57.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745092066912426802" />
via this auction where you'll find more pics.

"HERE IS A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1959 GIBSON ES-345 STOP TAIL SEMI-HOLLOWBODY ELECTRIC GUITAR FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF GIBSON GUITAR BUILDING. This guitar did get played. The neck on this guitar is very comfortable and the action is nice and low. The original tuners and the truss rod work as intended. The guitar has been professionally refretted with the proper size frets and they have plenty of meat left on them. The finger board has some wear but plays great. The neck date reads Sept 65 B.

The body shows some of the scars of a life of rock ‘n’ roll. There are some scratches and dents, some patches of missing finish on the edge, and a small ½” x ¼” divot just below the output jack. The three-ply pickguard has no cracks but it’s what’s under the pickguard the really rocks the house. The three grey bobbin pickups read 5.90 k ohms for the bridge pickup, 6.12 k ohms for the middle pickup, and 5.72 k ohms for the neck pickup, all measured at the output jack. The electronics are untouched as well and all three potentiometer codes read the 32nd week of 1965.

This 1965 Sunburst Stratocaster weighs in at 7 lbs 4 oz and will be shipped in its black tolex case. She will be professionally packed with care."

Vintage 1961 Fender Slab Board Stratocaster Sunburst Guitar w/OHC

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kWhdu6DM8n4/T7qpqU59uRI/AAAAAAAAEtY/VS9hbzpmWUM/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqVHJE4E-me%252BDg1hBPtny2urGQ%257E%257E60_3.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745090819295918354" />
via this auction where you'll find more pics.
webuyguitar$ (RSS)

"If guitars could talk…This one would have a lot to say. It’s a 1961 Fender Stratocaster, serial # 608XX in a Sunburst finish. This guitar is a non-tremolo or hardtail version.

This particular guitar was previously owned by Vern Juran. Vern wrote the book, “Pick the Right Guitar.” This guitar is pictured on the cover of it, as well as inside the book. In the book Mr. Juran states that the guitar was played and signed by Stevie Ray Vaughn in 1990 at one of his concerts. Unfortunately, the autograph has faded into oblivion. A signed (by Vern Juran) letter of authenticity, a ticket stub from the SRV concert, and a copy of the book are included with the sale.

The guitar is all original. The tuners and truss rod work as intended. It has a wonderfully shaped slab board neck with “clay” dots that just plays like butter. The original frets have some play wear put there’s plenty of meat left. The neck is dated 12/60… hence Mr. Juran dated the guitar as a 1960 in his book. The body, however is dated 4/61 and the potentiometer codes are dated midway through 1961…so it’s certainly a ‘61.

The body is in nice shape and the front of the guitar has the tell-tale one inch scrape to the left of the bridge that is easily recognizable in the Vern Juran photos. The finish on the back of the body shows more wear than the front.

The “green guard” is in great shape…no cracks. The potentiometer codes read the 21st week of 1961 for one, and the 23rd week of 1961 for the other two pots. The solder is untouched and the three pickups measure 6.38 k ohms for the bridge, 5.91 k ohms for the middle pickup, and 6.53 k ohms for the neck pickup, all measured at the output jack. The guitar will ship in a brown tolex case that has had its inside modified. The accessory compartment is missing and there is a small neck support that has been added.

The guitar weighs in at a scant 7 lbs even. As always, it will be professionally packed with care."

Vintage 1960 Fender Custom Telecaster Sunburst Guitar w/ OHC

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 306px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9-on2i1U6QA/T7qpTOuTHwI/AAAAAAAAEtM/o-SNt-Ww7Ik/s400/%2524%2528KGrHqVHJDEE-Pd2NeuRBPtnqbobm%2521%257E%257E60_57.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5745090422499385090" />
via this auction where you'll find more pics.
webuyguitar$ (RSS)

"This guitar is an all original 1960 Fender Custom Telecaster in Sunburst. We think these are really beautiful guitars and this one is no exception. They were introduced by Fender in 1959 and had a 14 year run until 1972.

This 50 year old Custom Tele belies its true age. It does have its share of nicks and scratches but the sunburst finish is still really beautiful. The color has faded to an almost classic two-tone in the front and a three-tone sunburst on the back. The original “green” guard has no cracks in it, and the binding is also beautifully intact.

The rosewood slab board fingerboard is in great shape (and the grain pattern is ridiculous). The frets are original and have plenty of play wear left in them. The original tuners and the truss rod both work as intended. The neck is dated at 9/60.

The all original pickups on this 1960 sound awesome as you can imagine. They measure 5.58 k ohms for the bridge pickup and 6.18 k ohms for the neck pickup, both measured at the output jack. The electronics are untouched and the potentiometer code for the volume pot reads 36th week of 1960 while the tone pot’s code has been obscured by solder.

This Tele weighs in at an reasonable 7lbs 2 oz and will ship in her beautiful original brown tolex case. The body is in great shape and although the finish has some dings and dents, it’s just some real honest wear and actually seems to add to the overall vibe of this awesome guitar. The single ply white pickguard has no cracks and looks great. Also included is the bridge cover (ash tray).

The maple neck is in great condition. She’s straight, the truss rod is working as intended, and the action is real nice and low. The original Kluson Single Line tuners also work as intended. The frets are original and have plenty of play wear left on them. The nut and all other hardware are original as well. There is no visible neck date.

The one single coil pickup reads 7.19 k ohms measured at the output jack The tone potentiometer’s date code is the 16th week of 1959 and the volume potentiometer’s date code is the 18th week of 1959.

This classic beauty weighs in at 7 lbs 2 oz and as I mentioned earlier, will ship in its classic tweed case. This one is a 1959, serial number 449XX, 3-tone Sunburst and a beauty.

This guitar has it all…and it’s all original. The Kluson (brand) deluxe tuners and the truss rod work as intended. The beautiful, thick slab of Brazilian rosewood has “clay” dots and the original frets. They have some wear but are in great shape with tons of play left. There is no neck date on the heel of the neck as is correct for a 1959.

The body and paint are quite beautiful. There are some nicks, scratches, and dings, but they just add character. There’s some slight buckle rash on the back. The “green guard” looks great…one crack by the neck pickup screw. The trem cover has some slight cracks from over-tightening the screws.

The electronics: Kind of the perfect balance…The three all original pickups measure 6.31 k ohms for the bridge, 5.73 for the middle, and 5.35 for the neck pickup. The potentiometer codes read 46th week of 1959 for two of the pots and 1959…with the week obscured by solder for the third. Speaking of solder…it is all original as well. All the electronics, including the original 3-way pickup selector switch work as intended.

The 1959 slab board weighs in at 7 ½ pounds and comes with its original brown tolex case. It will be professionally packed with care."

'52 Gibson USA Les Paul Goldtop

<img style="cursor:pointer; Serial #: 123. In 1935, Gibson entered the electric market with the E-150. Gibson only made between 96 and 100 of the aluminum E-150 before switching over to the wood body EH-150. Serialization was said to begin at 100. No matter what the serial is, this is an extremely rare piece- but our 123 is the lowest serial I could find anywhere. The body is cast aluminum with a Christian bar magnet pickup and ebony board. The tone here is amazing- the aluminum body resonates beautifully and the Christian pickup has a nice focused but warm sound. The control layout is very simple- a single volume and tone control. This beauty is original inside and out- save for one knob. The bakelite knob in pics is the original- we will also include a almost identical bakelite repro for the tone pot. This E-150 is in fine condition- exceptional condition given that this beauty is nearing its 76th birthday. The electronics work perfectly. Included in the auction is the original tweed hardshell case."

1972 GRETSCH WHITE FALCON

<img style="cursor:pointer;
