Taking on the role of real life heroes, Chris Hemsworth (“Thor,” “The Avengers” films) along with Oscar nominee Michael Shannon (“Revolutionary Road,” “Nocturnal Animals”) stars in “12 Strong” - a powerful action-packed new war drama based on the best-selling book “Horse Soldiers,” from true events that unfolded a world away in the aftermath of 9/11.

“12 Strong” is set in the harrowing days following 9/11 when a U.S. Special Forces team, led by their new Captain, Mitch Nelson (Hemsworth), is chosen to be the first U.S. troops sent into Afghanistan for an extremely dangerous mission. There, in the rugged mountains, they must convince Northern Alliance General Dostum (Negahban) to join forces with them to fight their common adversary: the Taliban and their Al Qaeda allies. In addition to overcoming mutual distrust and a vast cultural divide, the Americans—accustomed to state-of-the-art warfare—must adopt the rudimentary tactics of the Afghani horse soldiers. But despite their uneasy bond, the new allies face overwhelming odds: outnumbered and outgunned by a ruthless enemy that does not take prisoners.

Award-winning director Nicolai Fuglsig directed the film, which is produced by legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer (the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films, “Black Hawk Down”), together with Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill (“La La Land,” “Sicario”) under their Black Label Media banner. Oscar winner Ted Tally (“The Silence of the Lambs”) and Peter Craig (“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Parts 1 and 2”) wrote the screenplay, based on the acclaimed book by best-selling author Doug Stanton.

“12 Strong” opens January 17 in cinemas from Pioneer Films.

It was a match that entered the history books, changing the game for women and men around the world. The highly publicized, much hyped and hugely entertaining “Battle of the Sexes” was one of the most watched sporting events ever. But its impact extended far beyond tennis and the sporting arena. Taking us back 44 years, starring Emma Stone and Steve Carell, helmed by gifted directors, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris bring the 70s alive with vitality, comedy and poignancy, relating the build-up to the match that was viewed on TV by an unprecedented global audience of 90 million.

The year is 1973 and former champion, Bobby Riggs, is all but forgotten. He is determined to get back into the limelight, make some money and make himself relevant again. He issues a challenge to Billie Jean King (Stone), proudly and controversially proclaiming himself to be a male chauvinistic pig, while insisting that no female tennis player will ever be able to beat him. The 55 year-old tennis player, a hustler and loud showman, (Carell) asserts that women belong in ‘the bedroom and the kitchen.’ The 29 year-old tennis star takes Riggs up on the challenge.

The “Battle of the Sexes” becomes the arena for a greater battle for equal rights and women’s pay. To put the era in perspective, despite massive accomplishments by women, along with the presence of an increasingly influential feminist movement, it is still a man’s world – at least as far as equal rights and prevailing attitudes are concerned. Billie Jean King is fighting for women to receive the same fees that men get in Grand Slam tournaments. The match turns attention to inequality in every area of work and life. Played out in the glare of TV cameras and newspapers around the world, the run-up to the match reaches fever pitch. Women who are incensed by Riggs, rally behind the pioneering King, and at the other end of the spectrum, the battle exacerbates entrenched sexist attitudes. In a clever ploy to capitalize on the controversy, Riggs turns the match into a circus!

But it is the profoundly affecting personal stories of these two fascinating individuals that are at the core of the film. While Bobby Riggs is struggling with an addiction to gambling and experiencing problems in his marriage to Priscilla (Elisabeth Shue), Billie Jean is facing challenges of her own. She is married to a supportive man named Larry King (Austin Stowell), and at the same time this very private woman is trying to come to terms with her emotions and her awakening sexuality —as she embarks on a relationship with hair stylist, Marilyn Barnett (Andrea Riseborough). The film takes a heartfelt and powerful look at King’s journey as she attempts to balance her marriage and her emotions with her very public career and her love of tennis.

For Stone, the lure of the project began with the fact that she knew so little about the 1973 match, and realized it was being lost to history for her generation. “This amazing moment was not really in my consciousness at all until I read the script,” Stone notes. “I was especially struck by the reality that we really haven’t come that far from these events that took place 43 years ago. I could relate strongly to Billie Jean’s struggle and I think so many people will relate to these same themes today.”

One thing that struck Stone is that King was clearly propelled by a force even bigger than becoming #1 – she definitely wanted that, but unusually, she also wanted much more. “From an early age, I think Billie Jean was driven by these larger ideas of affecting change in the world and she saw tennis as her vehicle to make that happen because she was so great at it. You have to remember it was looked down upon for a woman to even be an athlete when she was young -- especially an aggressive women’s tennis player. From the start, she knew she was fighting for something bigger than herself.”

The stylish and suspenseful mystery “Murder on the Orient Express,” based on the Agatha Christie novel, one of the most celebrated whodunits of all time is directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, who also stars in film playing Christie’s legendary detective, Hercule Poirot. The movie’s stellar ensemble cast includes Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley, Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi and Willem Dafoe, all playing passengers on the train.

The setting for the thrilling and visually breathtaking detective story is a train ride through Europe – from Istanbul to London. Taking the audience back in time to the Golden Age of rail travel, the cracking murder mystery is directed with ingenuity and flair by Kenneth Branagh as one passenger is murdered, the rest are suspects. It’s up to Poirot to uncover the truth.

One of the suspects, Princess Natalia Dragomiroff, played by acclaimed actress Judi Dench, is a Russian royalty who seems to have a hard time coming on to the train, because it is somehow feels beneath her standards. “I think Judi Dench had a whale of a time playing Dragomiroff's imperious, contemptuous, superior arrogance and disgust at most of what went on around her, which was never as she liked it,” offers Branagh.

“Never quick enough. Never soon enough. Never hot enough. Never nice enough. And when she wasn't complaining about what wasn't right, she was demanding that her dogs be looked after. It allows for a chance to see a character who is very stern, and very forbidding, to also be naughty and funny. Judi Dench is somebody who can play all of those things with great delight. At the same time as formidable as she is funny, she can also be very secret and hidden,” continues Branagh.

Costume Designer Alexandra Byrne was honored to create costumes for Judi Dench. "The great thing about Judi is that she has these amazing twinkly eyes, and playing a Princess, she would have a lot of jewelry, that she had managed to get out of Russia during the revolution and had maybe repurposed,” says Byrne. “I took quite a simple line on her clothes so that the jewelry and her eyes could really sparkle."

Since playing Ophelia in 'Hamlet' at The Old Vic Theatre almost 60 years ago, Judi Dench has garnered wide popular and critical admiration for a career marked by outstanding performances in both classical and contemporary roles. She has won numerous major awards – including an Academy Award, ten BAFTA Awards and a record eight Laurence Olivier Awards – for work on both stage and screen, and in recognition of her many achievements she received an OBE (Order of the British Empire) in 1970, became a DBE (Dame of the British Empire) in 1988, and in 2005 was awarded a Companion of Honour. Dame Judi is recognised globally for her legendary role as M in seven James Bond films, from 'Goldeneye' to 'Skyfall'.

In the wake of the sexual revolution and the rise of the women’s movement, the 1973 tennis match between women’s world champion Billie Jean King (played by Emma Stone) and ex-men’s-champ and serial hustler Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell) was billed as the “Battle of the Sexes” and became one of the most watched televised sports events of all time, reaching 90 million viewers around the world.

As the rivalry between King and Riggs kicked into high gear, off-court each was fighting more personal and complex battles. The fiercely private King was not only championing for equality, but also struggling to come to terms with her own sexuality, as her friendship with Marilyn Barnett (Andrea Riseborough) developed. And Riggs, one of the first self-made media-age celebrities, wrestled with his gambling demons, at the expense of his family and wife Priscilla (Elisabeth Shue). Together, Billie and Bobby served up a cultural spectacle that resonated far beyond the tennis court, sparking discussions in bedrooms and boardrooms that continue to reverberate today.

The build up to the match, the spectacle it became and the quest for equality it continues to inspire all come to life in “Battle of the Sexes.” Husband-and-wife directorial team Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton (Academy Award winning Little Miss Sunshine) explore a moment when social change was embodied by two complex people. Dayton and Faris brought together Oscar® winner Emma Stone, in a physically and emotionally demanding role unlike any she’s yet tackled, with Oscar® nominee Steve Carell at his most complicated as self-made media celebrity Bobby Riggs.

The filmmakers recreated the era with meticulous period detail and camera work to explore the tipping point when the balance of power between men and women, the mainstream and the marginalized began to shift.

Says Faris: “Battle of the Sexes” is both the story of an historic sporting event and of a woman’s private, personal transformation while under intense public exposure. We were interested in how she was fighting both personal and political battles at the same time.

Adds Dayton: “It was the most challenging project of our careers. It is at once a sports movie, a love story, a socio-political drama, and at times a comedy. 44 years after the Battle, the same issues are clearly still being debated. We were struck by how this circus-like event became a place where important social issues were played out.”

“This match felt like a precursor to the way politics are working in our country today, how the debate is so often reduced to a game or entertainment,” says Faris. “We’re often more caught up in who wins than in what is really at stake. We started work on the project during the 2016 primaries, when it appeared likely we’d see the first woman candidate for president. For a while everyone thought the film would show how far we’ve come since the Battle. Obviously the outcome of the election shed a very different light on the story.”

This motivated them to focus even more on the personal stories of two people who were not as different as it might have appeared. Both were caught up in the media and in a moment larger than their individual struggles. “The world has become even more polarized since we began making the film and we certainly don’t want to contribute to that – that’s why we chose to focus on the emotional lives of Billie Jean and Bobby,” explains Faris.

In the most timeless of whodunits, “Murder on the Orient Express” follows renowned detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) as he attempts to solve what would become one of the most infamous crimes in history based on Agatha Christie’s classic and most ingenious novel of the same title.

After a shocking murder of a wealthy businessman on the lavish European train barreling its way west in the dead of winter, private detective Poirot must use every tool of his trade to uncover which of the train’s eclectic passengers is the killer, before he or she strikes again.

More than 80 years after its publishing, Christie’s novel remains beloved by new generations of readers. Kenneth Branagh’s stunning retelling of the beloved mystery with its acclaimed ensemble and breathtaking visuals invites audiences to take the most suspenseful train ride of their lives. Branagh explains why it was a natural fit for him to direct and play Poirot: "It felt that there was a way in which those two things were very congruent with one person doing the same job. Because, crucially, I think, Hercule Poirot is a director. He directs the characters, and like a director, Poirot intuitively tries to listen to the way in which he can be specific and bespoke about how to create the mood that's required for each interrogation.”

Starring with Branagh in the movie is a stellar cast composed of Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dame Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Josh Gad, Penélope Cruz, Olivia Colman, Daisy Ridley, Sergei Polunin, Leslie Odom, Jr., Tom Bateman and Lucy Boynton.

Oscar-nominated actor Johnny Depp was intrigued by how the story felt relevant and fresh. “It’s got everything you might expect from Agatha Christie,” said Depp. “Death, murder, interesting characters, an unusual, often glamorous situation - all of those elements, inside a wonderful location and journey, are all there. But I was really impressed to return to it and see how it hadn't dated, and, in fact, it had reinvented itself, I think, which is a sign of very good storytelling."

Oscar-nominated actor Willem Dafoe was drawn to the script for its character-driven narrative: "For this story, it's the tone that's so important, and the role of Poirot is interesting and beautifully written, as are the balance of the characters. It has a nice edge and it's fun, but it also has a moral dilemma at its center."

When Josh Gad first read the script, he immediately knew he wanted to be involved in the project. He explains: "I got about twenty pages into the script and called my agent and I said, 'I don't care if I have to play an usher who's taking tickets, I need to be a part of this film, it's extraordinary.' To me, something this smart, something this epic, something that almost harks back to the golden age of Hollywood cinema, as an actor but also as a cinephile, was really exciting."

Oscar-winning actress Penélope Cruz was also impressed with Branagh’s ability to seamlessly move between directing and playing Poirot. "What he's doing with the performances and the camera is really powerful and I feel like he's making a film that will get into our brains in a way that is going to trap us, like some strange magic,” said Cruz.”

Michelle Pfeiffer dazzles as Caroline Hubbard— a kind of character that Agatha Christie met numerously on her own travels, and is often quite ruthless about describing. "Hubbard is a husband-hunter,” offers Pfeiffer. “Or so she says. In some ways she’s a lonely, and rather sweet, and tender, and often funny woman, but she can be very forceful, and to some people a little irritating and a little intense. It was fun to step into her shoes.”

It was epic,” says Valerie Faris. “It captured people’s imagination and attention everywhere.”

The engrossing new film from directing couple Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton (Little Miss Sunshine) examines the events leading up to the match, as the global publicity hoopla, initiated by Riggs, rapidly accelerated. “It was circus-like, enormous, it was the first time that there had been so much hype around a televised sporting event,” says Emma Stone, who won the Best Actress Oscar for “La La Land” and delivers an uncannily powerful and nuanced performance as Billie Jean King. “Billie Jean and Bobby were on the covers of magazines and newspapers, so the whole world was watching. Steve Carell, meanwhile, a keen tennis player himself, trained with Riggs’s coach, Lornie Kuhle. “Lornie and another friend of Bobby's, (tennis pro) Doug Dean, would come up from San Diego and we'd meet three or four days a week; we would play tennis for a couple hours a day,” says Carell. “It was great.”

To some degree, observes Carell, the caricature of a bad boy that Riggs was presenting to the world began to consume him. “All this money and instant celebrity was being thrown at him but it was a double-edged sword because at the same time the fame was not really for who he was but for this persona he was playing. People forgot he was a serious athlete and I think that hurt him,” Carell says. Together, Billie and Bobby served up a cultural spectacle that resonated far beyond the tennis court, sparking discussions in bedrooms and boardrooms that continue to reverberate today.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh who also stars as Poirot, “Murder on the Orient Express” features a powerhouse cast that includes Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penélope Cruz, Josh Gad, Daisy Ridley and Olivia Colman who all play a crucial part in solving the elusive answers to a murder committed who are all considered as suspects while on board the Orient Express.

20th Century Fox finally released the first trailer of “The New Mutants” directed by Josh Boone that will open in Philippine cinemas on April 11, 2018.

The story of the “The New Mutants” revolves around a team of mutant heroes comprised of the first graduates from Charles Xavier’s school. The exciting new movie stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Illyana Rasputin/Magik, Maisie Williams as Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Sam Guthrie/ Cannonball, Alice Braga as Dr. Cecilia Reyes, Henry Zaga as Roberto da Costa / Sunspot, and Blu Hunt as Danielle Moonstar/Mirage.

In recent news, Stacey Snider, chairman and CEO of 20th Century Fox shared, “New Mutants” is about these teenagers who are just coming into their powers. It’s like watching mutants go through adolescence and they have no impulse control, so they’re dangerous. The only solution is to put them in a “Breakfast Club” detention/“Cuckoo’s Nest” institutional setting. It protects the people on the outside, but it’s strange and combustible inside. The genre is like a haunted-house movie with a bunch of hormonal teenagers. We haven’t seen it as a superhero movie whose genre is more like “The Shining” than “we’re teenagers let’s save the world.”

Additonally, Anya Taylor-Joy reassured fans in recent interviews, “I think the nicest thing about it is that Josh Boone, our director -- he's just such a fan of the comics, and he really loves them so much that he's really interested in just making sure that we do the comics justice for the people that love the characters. You know, we all feel so lucky to be such incredibly loved characters. So, while it's definitely a departure from the X-Men movies, the fans won't be disappointed. We definitely kept all the important bits in there.”

Written by Jose Javier Reyes, “Spirit of the Glass: The Haunted” sees three friends who gained popularity through social media: Bea, Lisette and Chelsea were called the Instaglams since their popularity was rooted on social media.

Bea is a lifestyle editor of a popular magazine as well as a stylist, Lisette is an up and coming young actress while Chelsea is a popular model for mainstream and viral advertising. The three girls gained that much desired reputation of being the Girls of the Moment, basking on their youth and popularity. Each had their own partners --- Bea with Enzo, an athlete businessman whose best buddy is Jag, another scion of a rich family and Andre, Chelsea’s rich beau.

Young, beautiful and unsuccessful, all are completely unaware that they would be ensnared in the complicated world of the supernatural because of an article inherited by Bea from her grandaunt --- an Ouija board.

Out of sheer boredom, the group decided to play with the board thinking it was a toy and unwittingly opening the gates of the other world for three spirits to connect with them. Without their knowledge, they agreed to help the spirits not aware of the consequences of such actions as they are now harassed by these disturbed souls to help them seek justice. The crime was committed fifty years ago involving one of the most beautiful young actresses in the country named Sabrina Villafuerte who was forced to marry a man she did not loved named Budoy Carbonell --- the grandfather of Bea.

The spirits haunt the girls and their partners until they are forced to connect with a blind medium named Anita who was quite aware of the haunting that was taking place. The finale is a showdown that completely caught the friends off guard and bewildered by what they had accidentally unravelled.

Every hero is only as strong as their villain, of course. And in the latest “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” that conflict comes from the introduction of Poppy Adams (Julianne Moore), a drug dealer who, as head of the mysterious Golden Circle criminal enterprise, sets in place a nefarious plan that sets her on a collision course with Eggsy (Taron Egerton). For director Matt Vaughn, the villain’s plot was of paramount importance – and to stop the ultimate heinous threat, the Kingsman are equipped with gadgets customized for the unrelenting explosive battle to save the world.

“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” won’t skimp on that patented Kingsman craziness, though, from an opening car chase in which Eggsy has to fight for his life in a Kingsman cab hurtling across London, to an all-out assault on Poppyland, and a barroom brawl which deliberately recalls the pub fight sequence from the first movie. “The fights are even more crazy,” says Egerton. “But in terms of the setpieces, Matthew has tried to do different things. There’s a sequence in the movie that has that hyper, one-shot feel, but you can’t top the church scene. He’d rather move on and find something new.”

After the attack and the Kingsman headquarters turned into ruins, Eggsy teams up with Merlin (Mark Strong) — who appears to be the only other survivor — to investigate the circumstances behind it. The Kingsman’s ‘Doomsday Protocal’ leads them to Kentucky, where they discover that Kingsman isn’t the only name in international espionage. “A Family Man” is Gerard Butler’s latest passion piece directed by Mark Williams who is also an accomplished producer behind acclaimed features such as Ben Affleck’s “The Accountant” and Netflix’s “Ozark.”

Known for his blockbuster iconic action roles in “300”, “London Has Fallen”, “Olympus Has Fallen” and voice in “How to Train Your Dragon”, Butler plays Dane Jensen in “A Family Man,” a driven Chicago-based headhunter, working at a cut-throat job placement firm. When Dane's boss (Willem Dafoe) announces his retirement, he pits Dane against Lynn Wilson (Alison Brie), Dane's equally driven but polar-opposite rival at the firm, in a battle for control over the company. As Dane gears up for the professional battle of his life, he learns his 10-year-old son Ryan (Max Jenkins) is diagnosed with an illness. Assembling the strong supporting cast for the movie included frequent award-winners Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina who were respectively cast as Dane’s ruthless but retiring manager at the recruitment firm and as an aging out-of-work engineer, each of whom challenge headhunter Dane Jensen in unpredictable ways. Alison Brie was a perfect match to Gerald as Dane’s rival, being herself “smart, beautiful, confident and charming all in one,” producer Craig Flores described. Gretchen Mol rounded out the deep bench of talent as Dane’s wife, Elise.

But the most difficult role to cast was the character of Dane Jensen’s son, Ryan. Dane’s journey is predominantly framed through his relationship with Ryan, which is constantly transforming over the course of the film. Craig described the wide search that went into Ryan’s casting: “We reviewed hundreds of self-tapes and auditions from all around the world to find the right kid. Very tough decisions were made, but we ultimately discovered that Max Jenkins was born to play the role.”

The last trailer reveal of “War for the Planet of the Apes” sees two legendary leaders Caesar (performed in motion capture by Andy Serkis) and the Colonel (Woody Harrelson) face each other off to protect their own species from extinction.

Reaching fever-pitch in anticipation as reflected in global indicator such as www.rottentomatoes.com, the movie has so far scored a 98% high in the want-to-see meter and enjoys a 96% high on the critics’ corner stating that the movie combines breathtaking special effects and a powerful, poignant narrative that concludes the blockbuster trilogy. Meanwhile, on the local scene at www.clickthecity.com, “War for the Planet of the Apes” enjoys a full 5-star Users’ Rating on the said online portal.

Breathless action, big ideas and potent storytelling combine as “War For the Planet of the Apes”, the third and final chapter in the trilogy pushes the blockbuster series into new realms of legend-building as it explores the values that forge a civilization. It all comes to life driven by the most complex and intense performance by Andy Serkis yet as the majestic Caesar, and groundbreaking visual effects from Weta Digital. Also returning to the series is Karin Konoval as Caesar’s trusted advisor, Maurice, Terry Notary as Caesar’s right-hand man, Rocket, as well as Judy Greer as Caesar’s wife Cornelia and Toby Kebbell as Koba.

Young actress Amiah Miller plays pivotal role in “WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES”

YOUNG ACTRESS AMIAH MILLER PLAYS PIVOTAL ROLE IN “WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES”

One of the most surprising characters in the highly-anticipated “War For The Planet of the Apes” is not an ape or a man … but a little girl with breathtaking courage. Amiah Miller, in her first major role plays a mute, virus-ravaged human child who comes to be known as Nova – and becomes an essential part of the apes’ journey to their new home.

“War for the Planet of the Apes” is set fifteen years after a scientific experiment had gone wrong that gave rise to the intelligent Apes and almost wiped out the human race. The colonists and apes struggled to coexist but their fragile peace was shattered and Caesar (played by Andy Serkis), leader of the apes, attempted to restore order. But there was no turning back from the brutal fighting that has already begun.

At heart, this is the story of both a military and emotional last stand. As peace between species has collapsed -- and a renegade band of human soldiers led by an imperious Colonel (Woody Harrelson) makes a final, all-out attack -- Caesar is hit with an unimaginable personal loss and a dark line inside his psyche is crossed. Now, he is wrestling with merciless impulses and roiling doubts about his own ability to inspire the apes towards freedom. But if the apes are to survive the coming conflict, Caesar must lead. In a time when empathy and compassion have nearly vanished both in the world and his heart, Caesar searches for the grit, sense of fellowship and striving vision to lead the apes towards a future of hope.

The enchanted quality of new character, Nova, did not escape director Matt Reeves and scribe Mark Bomback. Bomback says, “Here is a little, seemingly orphaned girl living with apes – Matt and I immediately thought she seemed like a character out of a fairytale. From Goldilocks to Little Red Riding Hood, there’s a whole tradition of stories about little girls in the woods with dangerous animals who nevertheless become their protectors. That’s part of the inspiration for Nova. And the name Nova of course is a bit of an Easter egg from the original film.”

“One of the beautiful things about Nova is that even in this divided world, you see there are apes and humans who are able to form deep emotional relationships,” says Peter Chernin. “In that moment when Caesar is in the darkest place, when he wants to hate all humans, Nova touches him in a way no one else can. In Nova, we’re also seeing the growth of the Simian Virus and what survival means to humans.”

Taking the part, an especially demanding and complex one for a child actor, is 12 year-old Amiah Miller in her first major feature. Reeves describes how Miller won the role: “Amiah is such an intuitive young actor. When she came in to audition we threw away the script and I just asked her to relate to the apes. It was clear right then that she was special and had a talent way beyond her years. She and the actors became like a family. She has a bright future ahead of her, I can't wait to see what she does.”

Because Nova develops a strong bond with the orangutan Maurice, who insists on bringing her on the apes’ long journey, Miller spent a month working with Karin Konoval, who plays Maurice. “Amiah and I needed to have a very strong, very real connection,” says Konoval. “So Amiah and I actually got to know each other wordlessly as Maurice and Nova before we even had any conversations. Luckily, our connection was immediate and organic and it only grew from there. It was absolutely magic that the filmmakers gave us that opportunity to develop this true bond.”

Says producer Dylan Clark: “Matt, our casting director Deb Zane and I were all in agreement that there was only one young actor to bring in for the role of Nova and it was Amiah.”

CARA DELEVINGNE AND DANE DEHAAN IN HIGH-SPEED SCI-FI ACTION “VALERIAN”

“Valerian” also known as “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” is the visually captivating new movie from renowned film maker Luc Besson the legendary director of “The Fifth Element” and “Lucy” starring Cara Delevingne and Dane Dehaan as the unlikely duo tasked to protect the galaxy.

Set in the 28th century, Valerian (Dane DeHann) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives charged by the Minister of Defense with keeping order throughout the human territories. They are tasked with protecting the intergalactic planet Alpha who after years of prosperity is attacked by an unknown threat.

The movie is based on the groundbreaking French science fiction comic novels "Valerian and Laureline" written by Pierre Christin and illustrated by Jean-Claude Mézières. It was first published in 1967 and has since inspired a generation of writers, artists and film makers.

The film stars, Dane DeHann, Cara Delavigne, Clive Owen, Ethan Hawk and Rihanna. It is also written and produced by Luc Besson.

Valerian” opens July 21 in cinemas nationwide from Pioneer Films.
