Tesco sued RM1.6 million for selling non-halal chicken

A businessman and four members of his family today filed a damages suit against RM1.6 million Tesco Stores (M) Sdn Bhd for allegedly negligent ensure that fresh poultry products are processed and labeled halal, halal really according to Islam.

Summons filed by Raja Muzaffar Raja Chambers Busu, Lijah Awang Kechik, Raja Idris Raja Chambers Busu, Norhayati Rahmah Abdullah and Raja Raja Busu tea.

Writ of summons filed by lawyer Kamal Razali through a law firm, Badruzzaman & Kamal, Advocate & Solicitor, Counsel in the Office of the Registrar of the Syariah High Court in Penang.

In its statement of claim, Raja Muzaffar Chamber representing the four other plaintiffs from Bayan Baru, seek general damages of RM1 million, exemplary damages of RM500, 000, and severely damages of RM100, 000.

He also demanded apologies in an open letter by the defendant to the plaintiff because the plaintiff suffered trauma and dignity of chicken scratches for selling illegal.

Raja Muzaffar Chambers said he had suffered trauma and feel guilty for eating chicken with the plaintiff other illegal and unlawful to eat poultry products to the customers at his restaurant at the Pavilion Gelugor, Penang.

Reported on March 12 last, he bought three chickens are slaughtered and packed with complete branded package of halal logo issued HyFresh stated the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

Raja Muzaffar Chambers said he was cooking some chicken and eat with his family, while the remainder sold at the premises of the business.

He said that when removing the chicken waste they have the effect of sacrifice on the necks of the chickens in the presence of suspicious kehalalannya Islam and report to the Religious Affairs Department, Penang (JHEAIPP).

"On 16 March, JHEAIPP then investigate and take HyFresh branded chicken in the supermarket because not slaughtered according to prescribed rules of Islam," he said.

Reported on March 31 last, the Penang Mufti Department issued a letter confirming poultry products is not slaughtered according to Islamic sharia rulings, and forbidden food for Muslims.

Here are some quick computer buying tips & tricks. This article is not going to show you what to buy, but it will show you how to buy.

1. Do not buy a computer because your friend has one. Buy the one that will accommodate the tasks that you want to perform day in and day out.
2. Don't think something is cheap until you also compare what quality parts it has inside the computer. People come to me and ask if the cheapest laptop in the store is good enough for them and most of the time I say no. Unfortunately these laptops are usually already outdated stock.
3. Make sure the computer you are buying is totally upgradeable. It must have spare memory slots and be able to handle more ram in the future. Also make sure there is space to add more parts inside the computer with extra plugs on the main motherboard.
4. Buy a computer with a 2 year plan. Hopefully you will get the right computer and keep up with your tasks for at least two years. If it doesn't you will be able to make a small upgrade to get through the two years. After that time is up you can then evaluate if the computer is worth upgrading again and continuing on with it.
5. Make sure your computer comes with at least 1 year warranty. 2 years is definitely better because you always find the problems start when your computer is 1 year and two days old, just when the warranty runs out.
6. Do not buy a computer without the original operating system cd and a COA (certificate of Authenticity) sticker on the side of the computer. Some companies do not give you a Windows Operating system CD and this will cause problems in the future. It makes it harder for you to restore your computer yourself and will have to take it back to them to fix.
7. Ask about after sales service before you buy. Make sure you are clear on what you are entitled to. What happens if a part dies in your computer. Will you have to take it to where you bought it, or will you have to post it to Thailand? Don't laugh, it has happened before.
8. Make sure you get all driver cd's for the computer. There is nothing worse than trying to find drivers on the internet to try and make your computer function correctly.
9. Get quotes from different shops and small system builders. Do not go into the first shop and buy what you see. Compare your prices with . It doesn't hurt to find out the facts.

1. Update / patch ALL your software every now and then!
2. Check / adjust ALL your settings so they are safe, since they ARENT by default!
3. Use firewall, like ZoneAlarm!
4. Use good passwords: at least 13marks long, containing both letters and numbers. Remember to chance your password every few months atleast!
5. Get good anti-virus & Spyware softwares and keep it updated!
6. Don’t open or execute files that you are not 100% sure are absolutely safe no matter where or how you get them
7. Wipe your historyfiles (like cookies, internet history and temporary files, etc.), logs and personal files, with specific wiping program (like Eraser) instead of just deleting them.
8. Use encryption to enhance your privacy! Use encrypted email (like Hushmail or Ziplip) and encrypt sensitive files on your computer (PGP).
9. Don’t use public computers for anything you need to type in your logins, they usually have Trojan horses that capture your passwords.

Select theme and color scheme for welcome screen

With this tweak you will be able to modify which color selection of the default theme is shown when the computer start up screen is displayed.

Currently since there is only one theme you can only change the color scheme for the theme but in the future when more themes are available for XP you will be able to change which theme is used in the same place in the windows registry.

1. Start regedit.
2. Navigate to

4. Right Click on it and select modify.

Here is i will share with you all the way that you can do when you did not remember your windows...

If you remember admin password you just can remove or change password at the safe mode but if admin password you did not remember...here is the way you can try...

1. Take your winxp cd to cd drive and if it ask to boot from cd... press any key
2. It will take you to blue boot screen
3. Choose your windows partion and enter(dont't format it you just repair it).
Press repair and then it will copy all files..
4. After it restart, then this is the important to watch out. You will see the timer
at the left of screen it will shown 39 minutes remaining.. After it have started
you have to enter "SHIFT+F10" & command promped will shown.
5. copy this in your command promped "NUSRMGR.CPL" then enter.
6. user account will out and the you can choose if you want to delete or change your
password. (no need to worry because it will not ask your old password)
7. After finish you can continue repairing....

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak waves in a car in Kuala Lumpur on April 2.

Najib, wearing a black traditional costume, was sworn in by Malaysia's Supreme Head Mizan Zainal Abidin at Istana Negara (National Palace) in Kuala Lumpur in a solemn ceremony, local TV footage showed.

Also attending were outgoing Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and other senior ministers.

Badawi is expected to hand over his duties to Najib at the Prime Minister's office in Putrajaya, the administrative center of Malaysia at 4 p.m. (0800 GMT) Friday.

On Thursday, Malaysian Supreme Head has consented to the appointment of Najib as the sixth prime minister of Malaysia.

In Thursday morning, Badawi had an audience with Supreme Head to hand over the letter relinquishing the post of prime minister in accordance with the agreed transition of power from him to Najib.

Najib, who succeeded Badawi as the president of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO), the leading ruling party in the country, at the party general assembly last week, also had an audience with Supreme Head at Istana Negara on Thursday.

Badawi was appointed the fifth prime minister of Malaysia on Oct.30, 2003, having succeeded Mahathir.

Reformatting Your Computer Using Windows XP

Reformatting your Windows XP computer will erase everything on your hard drive and reinstall the operating system. To avoid losing your data (documents, pictures, music, etc.), you will want to backup your information prior to reformatting. See the ITS Help Desk Personal Data Backup Support Center for more information. After you have reformatted your computer, you will need to reinstall all of your personal data, as well as any software products you may use (for example, Microsoft Office, iTunes, Symantec AntiVirus, etc.).

Reformatting your Windows XP computer has three main parts:

* Reformatting the computer from your operating system CD.
* Reinstalling the drivers that came with your computer.
* Running Windows Update to reinstall all security updates and patches.

Please contact the ITS Help Desk (384-4357) prior to reformatting your computer if you have questions about any of these processes involved.

NOTE: If you have a network connection, please unplug from the network before starting installation.

1. First, make sure that your computer is set to Boot to CD. This is a different procedure depending on your computer. When your computer first boots look for an option to enter the BIOS settings. Under the BIOS settings find the "Boot Order" and make sure the CD-ROM is set to boot first. If you have any problems with this please contact the ITS Help Desk at 319-384-HELP.

2. With the Windows XP CD in the CD-ROM drive, save your BIOS settings and exit.

3. If you've done everything correctly you should be asked to "Press Any Key to Boot from CD".

4. After installing the necessary setup files, Windows XP will display your partitions. Delete any existing partitions by selecting the desired partition with the arrow keys, press D to delete and then L to confirm the deletion.

5. You should now have only one option, "Unpartitioned Space". Press Enter to install Windows XP to the unpartitioned space

6. When asked how you would like to format the partition, select "Format using the NTFS file system"

7. After the partition is formatted, Windows XP will begin installation. The computer will reboot. While the computer is rebooting, please do not touch any keys. From now on the screens will look like the following:

8. Enter your product key. If you purchased Windows XP from the IMU Bookstore, the product key will be located on the back of the sleeve your CD came in. If you are reformatting using a Windows XP CD that came with your computer, the product key may be located on a sticker somewhere on your computer case.

9. When asked for Network Settings, choose "Typical Settings".

10. Windows XP will now complete installation. Upon completion you will need to re-install the drivers for your hardware (Modem, Sound, Video, etc). Many PC companies such as Dell, Gateway, and HP will include a "Driver Installation CD" with the computer. Simply insert the CD and follow the instructions. Otherwise, you can download current drivers from many manufacturer's support web sites. If you have any problems please contact the ITS Help Desk at 319-384-HELP.

11. Next turn on the Internet Connection Firewall. Instructions to turn on the Internet Connection Firewall can be found here.

12. Reconnect your computer to the Network.

13. Run Windows Update by opening Internet Explorer, then clicking on Tools -> Windows Update. Follow the on-screen instructions for installing critical updates.

14. Restart your computer.
