We have a beautiful, newly remodeled private 1 bedroom/1bath apartment with private deck for rent on Fish Bay in St John, Virgin Islands.

Spectacular Caribbean and Sunset views. Peaceful, park-like setting. Minutes from main island town of Cruz Bay. Paved roads. Private parking. Basic cable/ TV, DVD and local telephone calls included. All utilities included. Surcharge for use of A/C.

Fully furnished with all the comforts of home and a lovely teak kitchen. Dining area with a view. Large deck with gas BBQ.

Ten minutes easy walk or 3 minute drive down to a small, private beach too - great spot for snorkeling! The bigger beaches, shopping, restaurants etc are all within easy reach too!

Bring your swimsuit, clothes and the desire to relax; everything else you need is here!

To celebrate our recent remodel we are offering a special summer rate of $1450 a MONTH (one month minimum) with no extra deposits required (please note: extended stay guests beyond a month's period of time may be required to provide a security deposit)! This special rate is available through November only - we will fill up fast at this rate, so please contact if interested as soon as possible. Long term lease is a possibility as well.

We're sorry - no smoking and no pets allowed and this rental is not appropriate for young children.

**Also available on same property is a one bedroom, one bathroom house. House is available from June 27th through November 1st for a highly reduced rent of $1250 per month (utilities, cable tv and local phone calls included). This reduced rate is offered in exchange for pet care while owners travel. Basic food/water/attention for one senior dog, two indoor/outdoor cats and outdoor only cats as well. Person/couple must commit to full time period of four months, have references and love animals. Pictures available upon request**

Hi, we are scheduled to stay at Hale Lani in November. A forumite left a less than glowing review a few weeks ago citing poor lighting to the lower level bedrooms and a dirty pool. I wrote the rental agency with my concerns but they haven't responded! I am traveling with my Mother and her sister who will be staying in the lower bedrooms so it must be well lit. Also, I have two kids so the pool needs to be clean. How would you handle a management that doesn't repond to my questions?

I need your help!!! I have looked at thousands - okay maybe a hundred - villas and have narrowed our choices down to six. The problem is that the other couple travelling with us has asked me to send THREE villas to choose from - I just can't do it!! I am exhausted from researching villas! Please HELP me!!

A little background: two couples, late 40's, each celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Last year we stayed on Contant Point and want to try a different location. We would like a pool and AC for sure. We will cook a couple of nights and eat out the others. We don't mind driving to the beaches, etc. We will be there in May of next year.

Now, the six I have narrowed it down to are (in no particular order):

Le Virage

South Shore

Waterfall

Sea Stone

Ellison

Reef Madness

What would be your top three choices?

Hello all,
First I have learned alot from lurking in this forum, thanks to everyone. Going to be on St. John on May 29th, my wife and I have been to STJ twice in the last 2 years, this time we are bringing 11 other people with us Here are 4 questions I still need answered:

1. Where is the car ferry on St Thomas? I have been to STT twice now but did not use the car ferry, directions or location on google earth would be helpful

2. I have seen people say they love snorkeling Chocolate Hole.. Where is the best place to get in the water and where are the best things to see in the hole?

3. Anyone ever stayed at Crystal Seaview? How does one drive there and is it a doable walk to the Westin?

4. How do you actually get to Drunk Bay? Last time we went to Ram's Head but were so hot and tired when we got done that we didn't attempt to find Drunk. Looking at the map I assume one would just go left at the salt pond instead of going right around the salt pond to get to Ram's Head.
