DAD’S VIETNAM TO BROADCAST IN LAS VEGAS

VDE announces today that “DAD’s Vietnam, The War Experience of Greg Schwarze” will hit Las Vegas TV’s this Veteran’s Day weekend on Clark County Channel 4. The film which was released earlier this year, spotlight’s the war experience of Greg Schwarze, who served in the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam in 1967-68. Filmmaker Kelly Schwarze utilizes old family photos, and historical footage to illustrate the effects the Vietnam War had on his father and family. This gripping documentary will be shown on the following dates:

Friday November 11 – 9:30am, 7:30pm
Saturday November 12 – 2:30am, 9:30pm
Sunday November 13 – 7:30am, 7:30pm

INDIE FILM FACTORY TO CHANGE VEGAS INDIE FILM SCENE

Charisma and Kelly Schwarze announced today that they are launching a new business endeavor called “The Indie Film Factory”. This idea of this new business is to open affordable studio space to indie filmmakers, offering a wide array of sets and backlot looks. The idea is to get a space that can serve not only as a studio, but as a community headquarters for Las vegas, and Southern California indie filmmakers.

Director Kelly Schwarze and PWMG at Pollygrind Film Fest

Director Kelly Schwarze, and his partner company ProWerks Media Group will debut their latest Music Video “THE LIFE” to Las Vegas audiences at this year’s POLLYGRIND Film Festival on Sunday October 16th. The video is based on the hit song by LA and Vegas sensations THE ROCTURNALS, and revolves around the band’s mission to save the musical world. The video has a dramatic Matric-like story element that has helped the video gain major attention since its release earlier this year.

Director Kelly Schwarze said, “This video is one of my best, and it was such a pleasure to work with The Rocturnals again. These guys allow me to push the boundaries of my imagination, and creativity. I think this one will go down as one of the coolest videos of the year. “

San Diego, CA - Last weekend, Director Kelly Schwarze and Producer Charisma Schwarze accepted the award for You People at this Year’s California Film Awards. The film showcase spotlighted 2010′s brightest films, and awarded both features, music videos, and screenplays. You People wrapped up its festival run by scoring a “Gold Award” in the feature film category.

You People has had a serge in popularity since its release late last year, and is going to be making it’s Amazon VOD release next month.

VDE was also pleased with the recent press from Cineholic’s Blog, which captures the essence of the film’s witty plot line.
