Janet Pliszka http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/VisualHues/~3/Fk7_HjUdWC0/ http://visualhuesphotography.com/2012/05/17/and-one-more-makes-four-janet-pliszka/#comments Thu, 17 May 2012 23:15:59 +0000 Janet Pliszka http://visualhuesphotography.com/?p=1087 I’d love to tell a story to go along with this post.  One of my favourite families came into my studio last summer.   They were hanging out on our big bench as we chatted away when one of the three daughters then told me that they had to book a newborn session in March next year.  I was just about to ask who they were getting a gift certificate for when the look on my friend’s face told it all.  The session was for themselves!!!   They COMPLETELY shocked me with their news and I couldn’t be happier for them.  Sue has many many gifts and being an amazing mom is one at the top of the list.

Sue started off being my boss years and years ago when I worked for AIR MILES and we have become great friends.  We are in a mahjong group together – a bunch of girls who use the Chinese tile game as an excuse to get together, drink wine, eat snacks and talk!  There was such huge anticipation amongst our mahjong group for the arrival of this baby.  We thought all our “adoring a friend’s newborn” days were over!  Everyone was waiting to see if she would have her second Leap Year baby and of course each of us couldn’t help wondering if a baby boy would help even out the male/female ratio in their household.  A bit before Leap Day we received the news a baby girl was welcomed into their family.

They decided to get photos when sweet Tess was a bit older… she was two and a half months old when we got together for the photos.  I was so happy to hang out with them on a Friday afternoon and take photos of them just loving their new baby.   Enjoy sweet family of 6, plus Harley!
