Dentre as aplicação está idenficação limiar anaeróbio através de diferentes medidas: ventilação, curva VO2/CO2, freqüência cardíaca, variabilidade da freqüência cardíaca, lactato, glicemia, e ai vai.  O objetivo deste post é mostrar como isto pode ser feito através do software livre R. Procure Pacotes (Pakages) e clique em instalar pacotes.  OBS: é preciso estar conectado a internet. Depois escolha um local que esteja mais próxomo fisicamente de você, exemplo BRAZIL (PR). Após fazer isso vai paraecer uma lista com todos os pacotes de R. Basta procurar o segmented e clicar OK. Legal agora você tem o pacote que indetificará os Pontos de Quebra (break point).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Pass0 3:&lt;/span&gt; Vamos usar o script abaixo, mas antes você precisará de dados para poder fazer seu primeiro break point. Copie os dados. SOCCER TEAM&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;Federal University of Parana - Center for the Study of Physical Performance - Curitiba-PR Brazil&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;Vitor B. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;Nascimento, Luiz F. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;Novack, Fabiano , Luis F. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;Carignano, Raul Osiecki&lt;br /&gt;E-mail: vitorbertolinascimento@yahoo.com.br&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;Introduction:  A major difficulty in fitness in soccer is the need to work with a  large number of athletes and still take into account the principle of  inter-individual variability. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;One way to mitigate  this problem is to sub-divide the athletes into smaller groups according  to certain characteristics and thus similar training needs. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;The cluster analysis (Cluster) K-means is a statistical tool that helps to organize data into structures with common features. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;Objective: To demonstrate the use of technology in K-means forming groups in a professional soccer team. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;Methodology:  We used to analyze variables that translate the following aspects  physical, aerobic power (VO2 max), aerobic capacity (anaerobic  threshold), Agility (LITTLE, T &amp;amp; WILLIANS, A, 2005), body  composition (% Fat and Lean Body Mass &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;), muscular power (vertical jump), speed test (30m). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;The  sample was 35 professional athletes with a mean age 22:54 ± 2.9, n = 7  defenders, attackers n = 4, n = 2 goalies, n = 6 sides, socks n = 11, n =  5 flywheels. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span title=""&gt;For analysis we used SPSS 17. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;Results: 3 groups were created using the F test for significant differences. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;Significant  difference was observed for the groups created in Speed ​​Threshold  (G1: 13.80 ± 0.54, G2: 13.15 ± 0.47; G3: 12.65 ± 1.16, p = 0.011), Lean  Body Mass (G1: 63.32 ± 2.88, G2: 72 ± 3.89 &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;,  G3: 61.92 ± 2.26, p &amp;lt;0.001), VO2 max (G1: 61.76 ± 2.62, G2: 59.64 ±  2.25, G3: 57.93 ± 3.9, p = 0.029), and vertical jump (G1: 41.4 ± 21.3,  G2: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="" title=""&gt;56.2 ± 5.89, G3: 51.03 ± 2.75, p  &amp;lt;0.001), indicating that these groups should receive training for  these different valences, as variables for Agility (G1: 5.46 ± 0.39, G2:  5.43 ± 0.37; O autores descrevem a curva de oxidação de gorduras , "queima de gordura" como um u invertido,  ou seja, com aumento da intensidade do exercício, há um aumento da oxidação até um  ponto máximo,. Se partir deste houver aumento da intensidade do exercício, a oxidação , "queima" de gordura reduz (vide figura). Uma forma de amenizar este problema é sub-dividir os atletas em grupos menores de acordo com determinadas características e assim, necessidades semelhantes de treinamento. A análise de agrupamentos (Cluster) &lt;i style=""&gt;K-means&lt;/i&gt; é uma ferramenta estatística que auxilia a organizar dados em estruturas com características físicas em comum. &lt;b style=""&gt;Objetivo:&lt;/b&gt; Demonstrar a utilização da técnica &lt;i style=""&gt;K-means&lt;/i&gt; na formação de grupos em uma equipe de futebol profissional. &lt;b style=""&gt;Metodologia:&lt;/b&gt; Foram utilizadas na análise variáveis que traduzissem as seguintes valências físicas: potência aeróbia (VO&lt;sub&gt;2 &lt;/sub&gt;máximo), capacidade aeróbia (Limiar Anaeróbio), agilidade (LITTLE,T &amp;amp; WILLIANS,A , 2005), composição corporal (% de Gordura e Massa Magra), potência muscular (Salto vertical), &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;velocidade (teste de 30m). A amostra utilizada foi de 35 atletas profissionais com idade média 22.54 ± 2.9, sendo n = 7 zagueiros, n = 4 atacantes, n = 2 goleiros, n = 6 laterais, n = 11 meias, n = 5 volantes. Vamos &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_32"&gt;inciar&lt;/span&gt; pela fórmula do &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_33"&gt;Banister&lt;/span&gt;. Os valores de 0.64 e 1.92 da equação são baseados em dados de curvas de &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_44"&gt;lactato&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_45"&gt;analizadas&lt;/span&gt; por este autor. A inovação do artigo foi utilizar a equação &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_46"&gt;obitda&lt;/span&gt; numa regressão &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_47"&gt;exponencial&lt;/span&gt; entre a curva de lactado e o percentual da frequência cardíaca máxima de cada atleta ao invés da equação de &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_48"&gt;Banister&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;Para comprovar sua inovação era mais &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_49"&gt;eficiente,&lt;/span&gt; os autores, relatam uma relação entre o &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_50"&gt;TRIMP&lt;/span&gt; individual e melhora na velocidade, em &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_51"&gt;quilometros&lt;/span&gt; por hora, no valor fixo de 2&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_52"&gt;mmol&lt;/span&gt;/L de &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_53"&gt;lactato&lt;/span&gt;. Relação não observada de forma &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_54"&gt;significativa&lt;/span&gt; quando utilizou-se o &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_55"&gt;TRIMP&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_56"&gt;Banister&lt;/span&gt;.  O método mostra uma melhor individualização do controle da carga interna. Mas lembro que este texto é para dar um gostinho e os textos de referência devem lidos.(estão ai em baixo para dowload)&lt;br /&gt;O Controle de Cargas do treinamento! Meu trabalho é especificamente no treinamento com corredores de rua, mas a aplicação deste método pode e é realizada em modalidades de esportes coletivos como futebol, rugby, etc.&lt;br /&gt;E como quantificamos CARGA? Esta "entidade" do treinamento desportivo.&lt;br /&gt;De forma geral, e simplista consideramos carga apenas sendo VOLUME x INTENSIDADE. No treinamento de força mutiplica-se no número de séries pelo peso levantado para se ter esta medida.&lt;br /&gt;O Método FOSTER utiliza da escala de BORG 10, aquela que vai de 0 a 10, e o tempo de duração do treinamento para obtermos o TRIMP( Training Impulse), outras medidas feita pelo método são MONOTONIA e STRAIN (traduzido pelo espanhois por Indice de Fadiga, não confundir com o do teste de Wingate).&lt;br /&gt;Mas como e para que?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;No quando controlamos apenas INTENSIDADE ou o VOLUME de uma sessão, semana, ou mês (s) ou melhor micro, meso, ou macro que não correspondem necessáriamente a escala citada, temos apenas um componente nos dando uma medida muito pobre para o controle dos efeitos do treino.&lt;br /&gt;Nos trabalhos do grupo do professor FOSTER encontramos compara de provas de ciclismo como Tour de France, e Volta da Espanha, TRIMPS de corredores de ponta, de times de futebol. Dentre as relações esta a relações está o aumento de das medidas do método com aparecimento de infecções oportunistas.&lt;br /&gt;Como fazer?&lt;br /&gt;Para se obter a carga diária multiplica-se o tempo de treino em minutos pelo BORG 10.&lt;br /&gt;Exemplo: Tempo de Treino 1 hora e 17 minutos; Sensação Subjetiva (BORG 10) 6. Contas: 77 x 6=462&lt;br /&gt;Mas a semana é que vale. Ele conhecido dos estudiosos da área de fisiologia de exercício é capaz de predizer de forma indireta o limiar anaeróbio, forma mais utilizada. Mas também pode fazer predições do tempo de prova. No caso foram realizados os seguintes testes nos jogadores:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Yo-Yo Intermittent Endurance test distance (YOYO)&lt;br /&gt;2.  4 mmol.l-1 (Lactate)&lt;br /&gt;3. 5 minute sprint time (Sprint5)&lt;br /&gt;4. 20 minute sprint time (Sprint20)&lt;br /&gt;5. Soccer-specific agility test time (Agility)&lt;br /&gt;6. 1RM Bench Press (RMBPress)&lt;br /&gt;7. 1RM Back Squat (RMSquat)&lt;br /&gt;8. Non Counter Movement Jump with no arm swing (Squat Jump)&lt;br /&gt;9. Counter Movement Jump with no arm swing (Bounce Jump)&lt;br /&gt;10. Counter Movement Jump with arm swing (Football Jump)&lt;br /&gt;11.  % Body Fat.&lt;br /&gt;Com análise foram "criados" 5 fatores que traduzem respectivamete: endurance, composição corporal, jumping and power,speed and agility e strength. O que significa isso?&lt;br /&gt;É a última chance de fazer o melhor tempo de 10km da temporada pois com o acumulo dos longos, o tempo para 10km na maioria dos corredores irá cair em torno de 15 a 45 segundo por km.&lt;br /&gt;Alguns conseguem manter o que é ótimo pois o seu melhor tempo para Maratona seria cerca de   30 segundos por km acima do tempo dos 10km.
