Frito Dessert

This is so good. My cousin Chrissy taught me how to make these a long time ago while camping.

Ingredients:

1 large bag of Fritos
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter

Directions:

1) Spray a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray. Pour in the bag of Fritos.

2) combine the corn syrup and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is melted.

3)Turn off heat. Add peanut butter and stir until melted. Pour over Fritos.

4)Let cool and cut into small bars.

Garlic Potato Bites

I don’t seem to have a category for side dishes. I should get my IT Dept on that. He’s on the couch at the moment. Although, When I make these, I usually end up forgoing everything else and eating these as my main dish. So, call them what you will.

Luke is the pickiest eater I have. He loves them. And they aren’t made of cake. That says something.

Vivi enjoys them too. But, she eats mulch. I just like taking photos of her.

Ingredients:

Potatoes

olive oil

garlic salt

parsley flakes

If you’ll notice, I don’t have quantities. Everything totally depends on your tastes.

Directions:

1) Peel potatoes (potatos??) and dice into bite size pieces. (I usually do 1 potato per person) Put them in a bowl.

2) lightly coat potatos in olive oil, then add parsley flakes and garlic salt to taste

3) pour onto a baking sheet and bake at 375 for 60 minutes

You can turn them half way through. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. They do get a cooked hard edge, but I like that. Maybe turn them 10-20 min before they’re done. Yum. You’re welcome.

Red Lobster Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
4 tbs cold butter (cut into pieces)
1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese
3/4 cup cold whole milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Topping:

4tbs melted butter
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp parsley flakes

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350f.
combine main ingredients and stir until dough forms. Don’t mix too throughly. You want hard butter chunks through out.
Drop 1/4 cup portions onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 17 minutes, or until golden brown.
Combine topping mix and brush on warm biscuits. Use it all up!
