Why we should appreciate Ra. One. ?

This Article is a response to those people who think that Ra.One is not worth and they are comparing this with some Bodybuilder actor's masala movie.

#It’s has been a sheer work of advance technology with some really awesome VFX (Visual effects) and SFX. I never saw such film in Hindi film industry before. Have you?

#All technical work done in Movie is from India, It’s a “MADE IN INDIA” product which shows technological advancement which our Hindi Cinema have done. Thanks to Red Chilli Entertainment.

#It’s is made with cost of around 150 Cr and have alredy gained lot more than that and counting. This figure in itself shows success.

#Experimentation is not everybody’s cup of tea. Stepping out of comfort zone to make an attempt to enhance Hindi cinema.

#Success couldn’t be counted in numbers as , it is to be felt within heart, by love and compassion of people. People's huge response is coming with huge number of children's in it.

#This is a movie made to keep in mind choices of Gamer's and Children's . And this is liked by it's targeted audience. Which is a win for movie.

And that's why the 'Lonely' singer is celebrating his birthday in Pune and not Mumbai

By one estimate, Akon might be the world's "third largest" performing artiste, but that doesn't matter to one of Newsweek's 50 Most Powerful People in the world (for 2008, at least), Shah Rukh Khan.

And so, despite collaborating for a track in the actor-producer's upcoming Ra.One, the singer finds himself not celebrating his birthday in B-Town with friends as planned ('Akon's B-Town B'day'; April 7, HiTLIST) but rather in nearby Pune, thanks to SRK.

Notes our source, "The birthday celebrations on April 15 includes a professional performance. This would be a ticketed event and would be charged and thereby, taxed. SRK was expected to host the party for Akon, thanks to their Ra.One connection.

Since the singer wanted fans in attendance as well, it was obvious the party wouldn't happen at shahrukh khan residence Mannat but it's equally surprising that Shah Rukh chose to go hunting for a venue and for sponsors (albeit unsuccessfully) that would spare him the costs of hosting the bash. How unclassy!"

We tried reaching SRK for comment, but he remained unavailable.

Meanwhile, Dabanng girl, Sonakshi Sinha will meet Akon privately in Mumbai to wish him on his birthday. Priyanka Chopra has also expressed interest in meeting him. However, Kareena and SRK (his Ra.One buddies) haven't."

Akon and his wife will be travelling with a 22-member crew that also includes three bodyguards.

Akon loves the colour white and will be carrying only white custom made designer clothes for the tour. Traders from Mangaldas Market at Crawford Market, Mumbai, have sent a letter to his manager requesting for a visit to the wholesale market to discuss possible business opportunities with him since they heard that Akon is quite an entrepreneur.

Like petulant kids who still hold grudges, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan completely avoid each other despite shooting not more than a few hundred meters apart

There was a palpable tension in the air yesterday evening at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon. Friends-turned-foes Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were there shooting for their respective projects.

Nothing happened. The units on both sets expected a confrontation that never took place. The warring actors kept to their vans.

Says a source, "Salman has been shooting for Atul and Alvira Agnihotri's Bodyguard for the last few days in Filmistan on the the third floor. Shahrukh khan began shooting on the first floor. Sallu was shooting a crucial scene and so
SRK's entry had everyone on the Bodyguard sets on tenterhooks."

It's a known fact that the two actors haven't made their peace since a feud that began at Katrina Kaif's birthday party three years ago.

Adds the source, "It was all fun for the Bodyguard unit and the shoot was moving along smoothly. SRK's visit made them go into a tense huddle though shooting continued as normally as before. No-one knew how Salman would react to his dushman being in the vicinity."

While it is known that Sallu's sisters-in-law, Seema and Malaika are still friends with SRK, it is lesser known that Atul and Alvira are very close to King Khan too. "Atul and SRK's friendship goes way back. It was expected that Shah Rukh would drop in to meet Atul on the sets," notes the source.

That didn't happen. "SRK would leave his van and just go to the studio and shoot as would Salman, who is otherwise known to sit outside his van chatting with his friends and people who drop in to meet him. The Bodyguard unit finally heaved a sigh of relief after Shah Rukh left around midnight

SRK gave acting lessons to a bunch of budding actors working in his next home production

King Khan would often turn teacher and teach acting to the young actors who star in his home production Always Kabhi Kabhi (AKK) which is being directed by Roshan Abbas.

Buzz is that Always Kabhi Kabhi is an adapted version of Grafitti, a play written by Roshan Abbas over a decade ago

Narrating his experience, Roshan said, "When I would narrate scenes, Shah Rukh would hear them and start enacting the scene.

It was a treat to see him play out the scenes himself. He would interpret and change lines, which helped get the right emotions. We often rewrote the scenes after watching him act, as he would say things that we had written in a paragraph, in just a look."

Creative freedom

Roshan added that in spite of his busy schedule, SRK was actively involved during the shooting of the film. "Shah Rukh saw bits of the shoot after every schedule and made suggestions.

Shah Rukh's inputs started with the language, as kids today speak very differently. He encouraged us to talk to teens and shared his experiences. Besides, his inputs in music were invaluable. However, he let me have a free hand when it came to creativity."

Buzz is that Roshan had written the play Grafitti from which Always Kabhi Kabhi has been adapted. Roshan said, "Graffiti was about kids passing out from school in 1999 while AKK is set in 2010. While the emotions remain the same, the language and mediums of communication have changed."

Though Shah Rukh has produced the film, he didn't act in it not even a guest appearance. Roshan said, "Our leads are four teens with a few teachers and parents forming the other people they play off against.

No role was big enough for Shah Rukh to play and I wouldn't waste him in a cameo. His inputs and support is what we needed and you will see his touch in the promos.See More

'Ra.One'' May Make Diwali Weekend Strongest Again

Diwali weekend was also seen the best weekend to release a major blockbuster until few years back when Christmas weekend was seen to be the best bet.

The Christmas weekend has been giving a blockbuster quite frequently like Welcome in 2007. Ghajini in 2008 and Three Idiots in 2009 while Diwali has only Golmaal 3 as a blockbuster over last few years.
Last year Tees Maar Khan may not have been a big blockbuster on Christmas but released on another week it may not have even crossed the 30 crore distributor share mark.

A major reason for this is that makers have always seen Diwali weekend as a weekend that can easily accommodate more than one film so you have Diwali seeing multiple releases. We can judge Diwali release by the combined business of releases but it is always likely only one release will score and others not doing much business. This year could be different as Ra.One is likely to be the only major release on Diwali and this has not happened in a very long time. Infact its hard to even remember a solo diwali release. Hopefully Ra.One starring Shahrukh khan, Srk or some people call him king khan has content with universal appeal and can show how big business can be on Diwali.

SRK shakes a leg at bro-in-law's wedding

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan flew from Malaysia on Friday evening especially for wife, Gauri Khan's, cousin's wedding. The star landed in Delhi around 11pm for brother-in-law, Rustam Tiwari's wedding, which took place on Saturday evening.

Even though SRK looked very tired, he was full of energy during the entire ceremony and partied till the wee hours. The private party was hosted at the groom's residence.

Delhi-based DJ Amit B spun some popular Bollywood chartbusters at the do. He told us, "Shah Rukh looked quite happy and was enjoying the party with his wife, mother-in-law and family members, and kept dancing all through the night to some of his own popular songs. He was dressed casually in a T-shirt and denims and was dancing with wife Gauri on the number "Mil Gayi Aaj Yahan Pe" from the movie "Guzaarish". Later, he also danced with his saasu ma and other relatives on the song "Ainvayi Ainvayi" from the movie "Band Baaja Baaraat"." After a while, actor Chunkey Pandey also made a surprise visit to the do and was seen having a good time with all the guests at the party.

SRK's son, Aryan, was busy reading a novel and didn't participate much in the function, while daughter Suhana was busy playing with her cousins. Gauri was dressed in a simple long floral printed kurta and jeans, and looked radiant with hubby dearest by her side.

Smoking ban lifted in Berlin, Permits SRK To Puff Ciggies!

Celebrity status comes with its share of fancy perks. And some, like Shah Rukh Khan, have it even better. Er, on foreign soil, as well. Since 2008, Germany has banned smoking in public and private restaurants, and those caught flouting the ban could run up a fine of up to 100 Euros (approx. Rs. 6,116); the move has been implemented in other German states too with prominent 'No Smoking' Signs to implement the message.

SRK, however, boasts of an express privilege. Currently filming Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 2' in Berlin, the actor has been granted permission to smoke away in peace during the entire duration of his stay there! Apparently, it's been over two months since SRK has been canning scenes for 'Don 2' in Berlin.

A German magazine, recently carried reports about the General Manager of the hotel granting special permission to SRK, to flout the puffing rule, as they consider him as their most prized guest. The exception will be in effect for the visitor in Suite 1107 all through his stay, which is likely to extend upto November end 2010.

As per sources, the Indian super icon has been provided with a special ashtray to make sure that he doesn't damage the carpeting and linen of his suite, which incidentally, comes with a room rate of Rs.113,960 per night. The German Press, meanwhile, has gone into overdrive with happiness over SRK choosing their city as the venue for filming. Berlin's Mayor Klaus Wowereit gave him a personal tour of the majestic Rotes Rathaus, the Town Hall of Berlin.

What's better, SRK bagged the honour of being the premier Indian actor to sign the guest book. Confirming the news Ritesh Sidhwani states in a media quote, "SRK's suite has an attached terrace and the hotel authorities, were kind enough to allow him to smoke on the terrace.

SRK's wish list revealed!

There may be hundreds of directors who'd dream of signing on India's biggest bonafide superstar, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), but the actor has a wish list of his own. Khan, who is currently shooting for Abhinav Sinha's superhero movie, Ra.

One, on Monday tweeted the names of some directors who he'd like to work with in the future, on the micro blogging website, Twitter. The actor tweeted, "Would love to work with Vishal (Bhardwaj), Anurag (Kashyap or Basu), Mani (Ratnam) sir, Raju (Hirani), and so many other gifted directors.

But we have to have something which suits us all." Khan's list was intriguing, since in the past, he has been associated with projects of most of these directors, and has either turned down, or has not been able to work with them.

Apart from Mani Ratnam, who the actor worked with in Dil Se, SRK has been approached by all the other directors on his wish list. The actor was supposed to work with Hirani on Munnabhai MBBS, but due to his back problems, had to back out from the project.

Sanjay Dutt later stepped into the role, and the movie went on to be a blockbuster. There were also reports that Bhardwaj had approached Khan with a movie, but when Khan suggested changes in the script, the duo fell out.

Shahrukh Khan, the star of bollywood, who is as busy as a bee, makes it a point to spend quality time with his kids, even in the busiest of days.Thus, when these days the star is busy with the making of his home production ‘RA ONE’, he makes sure to be around his kids inspite of being extremely exhausted.

So, recently, when Shahrukh’s son Aaryan, was quite in low spirits, as he has hurt himself, Shahrukh played the perfect dad. Aaryan, who has hurt his upper lip, was complaining about his wound, which looked like a moustache.
To liven his son’s spirits, SRK told him of his secret wish. King Khan, very sportingly told his son that there was a time when he wanted to grow a moustache, to look manlier. This sort of lifted Aaryan’s spirits and to be able to sport a moustache without having to grow one, was quite amusing for the little boy.

Well, Shahrukh has always been a doting dad, and this time too, he has tried to be just that. Recently, the Baadshah also had twittered about his time spent with his daughter in learning about some knot tying, which he miserably failed to learn properly.Such little and simple things in life does have immense emotional values attached, and for a superstar like SRK, what more could he want, with as much material and emotional fulfillment being in abundance in his beautifully planned life?

Shahrukh Khan, who is a die hard professional, as far as his work commitments go, has become quite famous even with overseas professional workers. Reportedly, the shooting of Shahrukh’s ‘RA ONE’, was scheduled to be over by a certain date, for which an Italian professional was called for. Since SRK is a star who likes to keep all his professional work up to date, managed to keep up with his previous record.

The shooting schedule, with the Italian Professional was completed right on time, and as a token of appreciation, Shahrukh received a gift.The gift was a Tee, which had the inscription ‘King Khan’, on it. Now, king khan, or Shahrukh, who would have he world’s most prized labels hanging in his wardrobe, was very excited with the lovely gift. He profusely thanked the Italian guest and seemed so pleased, that he was beaming with happiness, the entire day.

Indeed, it is the genuine thought that counts, while giving a gift, rather than the monetary aspect connected with it.
A special person like Shahrukh surely sets a special example to many, who think that big stars should only be given expensive gifts. Indeed, what counts is the feeling behind the gesture. Now, we truly believe that SRK is in deed King Khan!

No Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om 2!

Rumors have it in the media that Shah Rukh Khan may not appear in the sequel of 2007 hit Om Shanti Om. There are speculations suggesting that director Farah Khan could rope in Salman Khan for the male lead role in Om Shanti Om 2.Shah Rukh’s strained relationship with Salman Khan is not a secret anymore and everybody knows the two stars always avoid each other since their high-profile bust up at the birthday party of Katrina Kaif.

Farah Khan, the director of Om Shanti Om, has recently stepped up to bridge up the gap between Shah Rukh and Salman. However, it may not be that easy for Farah as the two actors still have hatred for each other.Recently, Salman Khan said to the media, “What Shahrukh does or says is not of the least interest to me but he is one of the most insecure actors. If he could get rid of that he would actually be a nice fellow.”

Indian daily, Hindustan Times, recently reported that Salman and Farah Khan met in a television show recently. The fact that Shahrukh Khan is a great friend has been proved many times. So what is new about it?

Well Shahrukh never forgets any gesture of kindness that has been showered by anyone on him. He remembers it and even pays it back when the time comes.
Recently one such incident came to the forefront. Lara Dutta once agreed to do the deglam role of a village belle in Khan’s home production Billu.

Many top-notch heroines had rejected this role but Lara was bold enough to accept this role which was extremely unconventional and different from typical Bollywood heroine roles.
It seems that Khan is grateful for this act of hers and now has roped her for a role in Don 2. Well in an industry where professional equations matter more than anything else, this act of kindness definitely has touched our heart.

It was always known that Khan stands fiercely for his friends and this incident brings to the limelight once again the fact that Shahrukh is one actor who knows how to treat someone who has helped him in times of crisis.

It is expected that the role will help Lara too. She recently earned rave reviews for her comic timing in Housefull and Don 2 will further boost up her already super hot career.

Shahrukh Khan- Akshay Kumar: Camadarie Calls!

The two most hot and happening stars of bollywood, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, are at an all time bonding mode.Reportedly, after having seen ‘Houseful’, Shahrukh Khan was so impressed with Akshay Kumar’s comedy histrionics in it that he sent him an expensive watch as a gift of appreciation.

Now, not being able to hold himself up, as a token of thanks to the Baadshah, Akshay Kumar, bought another very expensive watch, and bestowed it upon Shahrukh, as a return gift.

As if, this bonding was not enough, the two stars shared diet secrets with each other too.

Now, with Shahrukh having to slog it out in his home production ‘RA 1’, we just hope that Akshay, the Khiladi Kumar, who has done stunts for almost half of his films, gives some useful tips to our King Khan, who reportedly, has lost a lot of weight in the last few weeks.

Shahrukh Khan’s one phone call saved a marriage

Even a phone call can save a marriage especially, if the caller is some one like Shahrukh Khan. The Bollywood Badshah is very busy clearing up his IPL mess and his upcoming project, Ra. 1. In the middle of all this, he received a very emotional letter from a man named, Kandula Subramaniam, who lives in Gurgaon. He and his wife, Krishnakoli Dutta, have been living separately.

Their relationship turned sour and Subramaniam tried every thing to win her back but nothing worked. Then it came to Subramaniam that Krishnakoli is a big fan of Shahrukh Khan. Subramaniam, in desperation, tried to contact Shahrukh Khan. He found Shahrukh Khan’s email address and wrote a heartwrenching mail describing his marriage and his relationship with his wife. He requested the Bollywood superstar to help him to bring back Krishnakoli.

Though a super busy man, Shahrukh Khan took out time to help Subramaniam. On May 18, 2010, on her birthday, Krishnakoli received a phone call which came from none other than her favorite Bollywood hero, Shahrukh Khan.

Shahrukh Khan wished Krishnakoli Happy Birthday! and then earnestly requested her to give another shot to her estranged relationship with Subramaniam. The actor was very cautious as he did not try to invade her privacy or make her angry.After hearing about her relationship with her husband from Shahrukh Khan, Krishnakoli was very much surprised. She at first thought some one is playing jokes on her but then she understood that it was Shahrukh Khan for real.

Krishnakoli promised Shahrukh Khan that she would try and make things work with Kandula. Sounds very FILMY but it is a true story and Shahrukh Khan did not disclose the story. Times of India reported it because Kandula Subramaniam used to work for the newspaper once.

First look of Ra 1 Revealed

Shahrukh Khan may have not been so happy with his IPL teams performance in the recently concluded tournament’s season 3. But, the actor is still very confident to do what he does best, entertain his audience with style and panache.
‘RA 1’, which is slated to be a thorough techno savvy film, has all the ingredients needed to make it a full time entertainer.

Recently, the first pictures of the flick were released, with the director, Anubhav Sinha’s consent.

SRK says the film is being made on a huge scale and since it is a sci-fi flick, there will be a lot of special effects. Singer Akon also makes his Bollywood debut in the movie that stars Kareena Kapoor in the lead. While Anubhav Sinha has been roped in to direct the flick, Ueli Steiger will do the camera work and David Benullo (of Hallowed Ground) is the screenplay writer.

The catch in the first look is that Shahrukh, who plays an action hero, does not have on the costume which has been specially designed for him. Rather, he is shown in a pale white shirt, with jeans and boots. The pose is of SRK running, which probably signifies that he will be on the run in the film. A la Spiderman and Superman rolled into one

When inquired about the first look, it was revealed that the director was reluctant to come out with the real outfit look of Shahrukh in the film, and it will be kept under wraps as a top secret, till the right time comes to reveal it.

However, it is a known fact that a special costume has been tailor made in a hi- defined studio in the US. The material used is a very high quality rubber, and the color of the costume is a silvery blue. It just remains to be seen, how SRK looks in the costume!

Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan: Here comes the Acknowledgement!

After having joined the micro blogging site twitter, and getting a tremendous response from as many as 55,000 and above followers , Big B has proved that he is in deed the Big Baron, of bollywood !
However, amidst reports that he was received with a warm welcome, from most of the film fraternity, there were speculations running high that Shahrukh Khan, the King of bollywood had not yet made any initiative to welcome the Shahenshah, Big B.
But, Shahrukh Khan, is not a star of any less credit, instead of letting such reports swell by the day, he chose to hit a six with one stroke.
Recently, the twitter of SRK,@iamsrk had a message that predominantly had welcomed Big B on the blogging site. The message read, “It means sir, you are the superset duperest awaited human on the twitter world”.
Now, this message has left all the rumors about them not being on talking terms at rest. Now, with Shahrukh’s message, there is an apprehension in the minds of all the fans of both superstars, to know what Big B has to twitter to SRK.
This game of wait and watch is getting to be more interesting than a game from the world cup soccer. We wonder how long we’ll have to wait for Senior B’s response!

Shah Rukh Khan is busy for Ra1

Shah Rukh Khan, who plays lead in Red Chillies Entertainment’s upcoming flick ‘ Ra.1’ opposite sizzling hot Kareena Kapoor, has been calling up and coordinating her and Arjun Rampal’s dates for the shoot before going on the set.
Shah Rukh Khan’s extra work does not stop here but he has to go all the way asking his technicians for details, if anything was needed on the set to give the required special effects etc (this is important as the film is sci fi and special effects are most important part of it).
According to Sources, Shah Rukh Khan even discusses payment issues with his stars and ensures that they were paid on time without any hassles. Though some of extra work load has also been taken by director Anubhav Sinha, but it is Shah Rukh Khan who has been playing the double role of actor as well as producer and provider of everything to everyone on the sets of the flick.
This all has been necessitated by the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s most trusted man Bobby Chawla, who is also actress Juhi Chawla’s brother, has been in the hospital for a long time and is unable to perform his duties.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan would totally depend on the work of Bobby Chawla who was also the CEO of Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh Khan was even by the side of Bobby Chawla at the hospital for several days, but eventually work got priority and he returned to shoot for Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Ra.1’.

‘Ra 1’ is an ambitious flick from Shah Rukh Khan’s production house starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and others in prominent roles. Shah Rukh Khan plays a famous scientist in the film, who is based in London and working on developing a robot.

The trouble starts after Shah Rukh Khan has developed the ‘Robot’and his own creation would not listen to him. So much so that the Robot becomes a menace to whole world and the scientist prepares to remove him from this world.

Kareena Kapoor plays Shah Rukh Khan’s wife who stays with him in London. The couple also has an eight year old son. However, this mother role does not restrict Kareena Kapoor from flaunting her beautiful figure in designer’s outfit as the mom is based in UK and does not need to follow Indian wear sari etc.

Bollywood superstar shahrukh khan is excited about his first superhero film Ra.One, which will also see him flying. And he says he is doing it for his children and hopes to succeed at the box office.

"The film Ra.One is a superhero film. There is a good guy, there is a bad guy, there is a beautiful girl, there is a wonderful singer and a fantastic director," Shah Rukh told reporters at a press conference organised to welcome the international R&B singer Akon at sahara Star hotel Tuesday.

"It's a kind of film, a genre we guys haven't tried at 'Red Chilies'. On behalf of the whole team, I would like to try and I hope we succeed. It's a new thing for all of us, so we are giving it our best shot. Hopefully, we will be able to do what we are set out to do. I am doing it for my kids," he added.

The film is being directed by Anubhav Sinha and Kareena Kapoor plays Shah Rukh's love interest in it.

He said: "My superhero character is called Jeeva and he can solidify electricity. It's a concept we are trying to work on. Hopefully, visually it will be understandable too. It is a superhero film and I am going to fly in it."

Shah Rukh confirmed Akon will record a number for the film, but clarified that the R&B singer won't sing for the promotional song for his IPL team, KKR.

"No, he is actually here to do a song for Ra.One. We would love him to do a lot of songs. We haven't developed the song for KKR, but if I do, I would obviously request him to do that.

"No, there is not any business deal with Akon. He has just been very gracious. You know, he is unlike me - I charge for everything. I will be really honest. When you see an artist or a singer, you truly realise that they want to do it for the sake of art. And what I love about him is that he only loves to work," said Shah Rukh.

Kareena was also present and welcomed Akon by putting tilak on his forehead and a garland around his neck.

Shahrukh choosing Arjun over Riteish for Ra1

Shahrukh Khan was good friends with Riteish Deshmukh and Arjun Rampal. While his friendship with Arjun is still intact, Riteish seems to have left with a bitter taste in his mouth.

The reason behind the rift seems to be Shahrukh choosing Arjun over Riteish to play the villain in Ra 1 in spite of Riteish being the first choice. According to sources, Riteish was chosen for the negative role. Even director Anubhav Sinha wanted Riteish to do the role as he had already worked with the actor before in Cash. Riteish was finalized for the project and his remuneration had also been fixed. However, Riteish then read in the newspapers that Arjun had been chosen as the villain in Ra 1.

Arjun was unsure about playing the role as he was suffering from a back problem. He was chosen later though. And while Riteish is upset about his ouster, he hasn’t spoken a word about it to SRK. He mentioned it to a few close friends but he feels Shah Rukh or Anubhav should have informed him that he would no longer be doing the film.

This year is likely to see the release of two big films with similar sounding titles. Yes, we are indeed referring to Mani Ratnam’s Raavan and Shahrukh Khan’s home production Ra.1. However, the two similar sounding films are as different as chalk and cheese when it comes to their plotlines. While Mani’s Abhi-Ash starrer is a modern-day adaptation of the mythological epic Ramayan, SRK’s flick is a highly stylise film with a lot of gizmos and gadgets.

Coming to Ra.1, while it is known that SRK plays a super-hero kind of character in the film, what is not known is the fact that the title Ra.1 is the acronym for ‘Random Access-Version One’. This fact has been confirmed by the superstar himself on Twitter. Says SRK, “Ra.1 means randon access version one, will understand when u see the film. Ra.1 site will be up soon/have no film with Kajol or Yashji right now/don’t dance too well, I just try hard/I am the hero in Ra.1.”

Shah Rukh and Salman finally come together

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan might be arch rivals but seems like when it comes to the country’s prestige they can overlook their differences. At least that’s what it seems with the buzz that the two top stars of Bollywood will come together to play cricket as players of the Indian cricket team at the soon to happen IIFA Awards.

Every year IIFA has a friendly match between two countries, the proceedings of which go to charitable institutions. Even this year IIFA is having a friendly cricket match between Indians and the Sri Lankan cricket team. Interestingly there seems to be more enmity within the team with the two mighty Khans who can’t see eye to eye teaming up together.

Just imagine how the scene would be when one of the Khans is batting and the other is runner at the opposite side.

Shahrukh enters small screens for kids

Bollywood actor Shahrukh khan is not new to small screens. After hosting television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, he is all set to treat the kids in the country with a new musical drama. Yes, he is producing a show for Disney Channel.

The show titled Ishaan is about a young boy who finds friends and a sense of belonging through music. “I have always enjoyed watching Disney Channel with my kids and I am happy that my company is producing a show that will be part of the Disney family," Shahrukh said in a press release.

The show, which will go on air on May 15, will feature television personalities like Shruti Ulfat, Rajinder Mehra and Rajiv Paul besides other child artistes. It also boasts of 11 original tracks.
