Trend Watch! I'm noticing without turning a blind eye this trend all over the net. I've been seeing it for a while, but when I initially saw this all I remember was being in the 6 grade with a western theme button down and capped collar. So to say I was not intrigued at first sight is a understatement, but like all trends the more you see them the more they start to grow on you.

With that said I don't know if I personally want to try the capped collar or the peter pan collar necklace trend. What your favorite out of the two?

I've noticed that men do this trend better than we do, were we play with color and prints, they play more with the texture's of fabric when it come to mixing, matching and layering.

Sweater: Thrifted

It's becoming frigate in DC, and although I despise cold weather ( I think I was supposed to be born in LA), I am truly enjoyging pulling out my thrifted overszied chunky knit sweaters.

There's something about a knit sweater that screams, warmth and coziness. It could be the element of a lot of fabric but I have become extremely obsessed with thrifted sweaters. Not even store bought ones attract my attention, but I will gravitate toward the grand ma, nubby, deep knit thrifted sweaters!

What's your take on thick, knitted sweaters? For all of my cold weather readers were do you get your sweaters from? I'm on the hunt for new sweaters to add to my ever growing collection, suggestions for the best sweaters?

Peking Through the Covers

I've been obsessed with capes for a couple of years now, way before it hit the trend scene this pass year. The only up to this being "on trend" is that you can get i high and low. Me personally i am still on the hunt for the perfect vintage cape.

How do you feel about the cape tend? Ya or Na and if you love it how to you wear your cape? For me a gray crew neck cashmere sweater underneath either elbow patches would be sooo chic!

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I spent time with my family and the little one received so much love on her first Christmas. I know this holiday can sometimes makes people very overwhelmed, I know I always suffer from it wondering if I got the right gift or will they like this! This year, I didn't stress and on that note I ended up having a CAREFREE Christmas!

Soooo on to the gifts! The ever so lovely BF brought me the most beautiful watch, it's so gorgeous! And I know that's crazy to say about a piece of jewelry but I told him I'm going to have to leave him for Mr. kors! Yes He brought me the beautiful horn and rose gold Michael Kors Watch! LOVE & LUST!

Tell me this doesn't make you just drool??!!!!

Than to top it all off he brought me a brand new camera so now...I can go back to making my OOTD post. O how I've missed those and I have a tripod now as well! YEA!!!

Sooo I received my Influesnter Holiday box last week and have been thinking about the best way to review all of these fab items, and today after much thought I decided to make my FIRST video and post it on YouTube! WHAT!!!! I have never liked being in front of the camera because I hate the way my voice sounds on camera , but for some reason today I woke up with courage and just did it!
