Francisco Blanch, a Merrill Lynch Commodity Strategist said that “A temporary drop below $25 a barrel is possible if the global recession extends to China and significant non-OPEC cuts are required. In the short-run, global oil demand growth will likely take a further beating as banks continue to cut credit to consumers and corporations.”

Other experts think the price of oil could drop even lower. Joe Petrowski, Gulf Oil CEO, believes that the price of oil could sink as low as $20 a barrel by early next year.

Tetsu Emori, a commodity markets fund manager at ASTMAZ Futures Co. in Tokyo said that “The damage to the economy by the financial turmoil is much bigger than the market initially thought. The economic data now is much worse than what we expected a few months ago.”

Costco, which has over 500 stores in the USA, has said that they will not use the word “Christmas” on their website or their stores. Instead of using Christmas, Costco has decided to use the word “holiday”. verbiage. You know, they stock holiday gifts, not Christmas gifts.

Even though the company Costco wants you to do your “Christmas” shopping with them, they flat out refuse to even recognize that Christmas exists!

NRA spokewoman Rachel Parsons says that many people are quite concerned about Obama’s opposition to the Second Amendment. Ms. Parsons said:

“They’re concerned about their Second Amendment rights, and they’re purchasing firearms…maybe while they still have the chance. They know that it’s very likely that when president-elect Obama gets into the White House, he and those who he has appointed to leadership, who are also anti-gun, may indeed attack the Second Amendment. He’s supported gun bans, ammunition bans. He’s supported a tax increase on guns and ammunition. He has voted against self-defense in the home when he was in the Illinois State Senate. Over and over, Barack Obama has voted against the Second Amendment.”

I urge you to contact your elected officials and let them know where you stand on your Second Amendment right to bear arms.

Now that the election is over, I must say that I am proud of the fact that we as a country were able to put that terrible sin of slavery behind us and elect our first African-American as President. Barack Obama is a truly personable character and I truly do hope and pray he does well once he gets in office. While I did not vote for him, he is my President and I will support him.

However, I fear for the future of our country and here’s why … President Elect Obama made many promises while he was running for the office. Many far left liberal promises.

I hope it was just campaign rhetoric … and nothing more. But, I am afraid he will be forced to carry through with those far left promises as the far-left is what got him elected and now they are expecting to be paid back.

This Washington Post recently reported that President Elect Obama plans to immediately reverse current policies on abortion and raise taxes on business owners. This along with the fact that for his White House Chief of Staff Obama selected a man that is notorious for being one of the most ruthless, far-left political brawlers … Chicago machine politician Rahm Emanuel … instead of change I fear we are headed for liberal politics as usually.

Here are a few of Obama’s promises:

• Massive new taxes and generous giveaways to “spread the wealth” (why work?)
• A 25% cut in the military budget
• Money from the billions in bailout money going to pet projects like ACORN
• Welfare for millions more who already pay no taxes
• Free “healthcare” courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer
• Welfare and drivers licenses for illegal aliens (with voting rights to follow)
• The “Freedom of Choice” Act to make abortion the law of the land

Let me just say this …

I am a conservative. I believe in family values. I am a pro-lifer. I believe marriage is between one man and one woman. I believe we need less government … not more.

Having said all that, let me say that the purpose of the site is not to bash President Elect Obama nor anyone else. You will not hear me bashing our president. I may disagree with him, but I will do so respectfully. The purpose of this site is to report to you the American people what is going on so you can react accordingly. By “react” I mean contact your Congressman, contact your Senator, and contact the White House and let your opinion be heard.

As citizens of the United States we all have a responsibility to see that our government officials (both Republican & Democrat) represent us properly. We must make our voices heard!

I don’t remember ever seeing an Presidential election that was so divisive. Nor do I ever remember the media try so hard to get “their man” elected. I saw something pretty ironic on tv the other day. Hmmm … that’s interesting. I wonder how many people in the media saw it as their job to help President Bush succeed? Just a thought …

One of the great ironies of this past election was how the media picked at Sarah Palin for being “too inexperienced to be Vice Prsident.” Yet Obama, who was running for President, had no more experience then Palin. Interesting.
