In light of the recent videos that have come out the last few weeks showing irrefutable evidence of the evil chop shop that Planned Parenthood is running by killing babies and then selling their organs for profit (You can see and read all about it here... I have seen on many threads and personally been asked - "what can I do as a regular citizen to help stop this?"
Well here are just a few ways that each and every one of us can fight Planned Parenthood and make this nightmare of abortion and butchering babies for their organs stop!!!
Educate others about what is going on-share pro-life posts and articles and especially these videos and the articles about them showing the evil done there behind closed doors! Talk about it with friends and family (and encourage them to do so as well to others). You will be very surprised just how many still have no clue about this going on.
Also contact your State Representatives and tell them to Defund Planned Parenthood! NOT ONE single penny should go to these butchers.
Be sure to vote and support pro-life candidates without them this will never change, because the same ol people who have been complacent to this for so long will only allow it to continue. We must elect and continue to support pro-life legislation and candidates!
Those are just a few of the ways EVERYONE can help stop this!
These videos have started a firestorm that I have been praying for, for years and that has long been overdue in this country!!!
We should each like and support The Center for Medical Progress who went undercover and made the videos! They are HEROES and have shown millions just what is going on behind the closed doors of Planned Parenthood! They have also been under heavy attack since the videos have been released and need our support! PP even had a judge issue a restraining order to keep them from releasing any more of the videos (they have a lot more that will be coming out soon!) that they have.
CMP was fearless and stood up for the lives of countless innocent children and the First Amendment and said no way and released the 4th video yesterday. I'll say it again they are HEROES! So many can no longer deny what we in the pro-life camp have been saying for years, because of their work. Even many pro-choice people have changed their tune because these videos!!!
SO every one let's continue to pray and spread these like wild fire to everyone you know! Let us strike while the iron is hot and let's take down that evil organization of butchers once and for all!!!

With this new-found power of knowledge, he realizes that the stakes are higher than imagined a matter of life and death for himself and those he loves most. At extreme odds, Jonas knows that he must escape their world to protect them all a challenge that no one has ever succeeded at before. The Giver is based on Lois Lowry's beloved young adult novel of the same name, which was the winner of the 1994 Newbery Medal.

REVIEW: Wow where to begin on this one. First off I loved it!!! Really can't stress that enough. I’ve watched it twice now already in fact since I first gave it a try this week. The Giver is based on the multi-award winning novel of the same name by Lois Lowry that was first published in 1993. (I have never read it before but I definitely will be doing so after seeing the movie.)

It’s the story of a society that at first appears to be a sort of Utopia where all people get along and live in harmony and peace after what is referred to as the Ruin. Everyone embraces the doctrine of sameness from the way that they speak, to what they wear, and eat, and no one sees color (literally and figuratively). There is no war, starvation, hate, no divisiveness, no death and it all seems hunky dory at first glance. However when the surface is scratched this perfect little world is shown for the nightmare it really is.

The surface gets rippled first when Jonas a teenage boy embarks on his journey to manhood at his “graduation” where he and all teens of around 17-18 are assigned their careers that are chosen for them by the elders (who have watched them all their lives). Several other ceremonies marking other milestones within the community take place at the same time of graduation … (these are the ones shown in the movie I understand there were more in the book) - The babies who have reached age one are assigned to their family units. Children who have reached the age of nine are given a bicycle to mark their growing independence and elevated status within the community, and the elderly are released to move to “Elsewhere” (what is assumed to be a beautiful and restful place for them to live the rest of their lives). When Jonas receives his chosen profession it is vastly different than all the other graduates as he has been selected to become a Keeper of Memory. It is a very important job and title given only to a very select few who encompass 4 vital attributes – courage, integrity, intelligence, and “a capacity to see beyond”.

Jonas’s mentor who is to teach him everything he needs to know as "The Receiver of Memory" is called “The Giver” who is played brilliantly by Jeff Bridges. Jonas learns that he is to be very different than everyone else in the community. He will live by a different set of rules than everyone else must strictly adhere to. He is allowed to ask any questions, he is allowed to lie where no one else is, but he must also never discuss what he sees in his training to others. He will literally be “receiving” all the memories from the past so as to be able to guide and advise others in the present he is told by The Giver.

However Jonas learns very quickly in his training that there is so much that the community no longer has that they did in the past including…different climates (there is no snow or bad weather anymore due to climate control), there are no animals, people do not have feelings and emotions, (these are all being suppressed by daily injections that they are all told is to keep them healthy and that they must take), there is no music, and he learns for the first time about color and the lack of it in their world.

Through the images and knowledge that Jonas receives from the Giver he begins to realize that so much is missing from the world they have created within the community… things like fun, individuality, religion, different races and cultures, freedom, and most importantly real truth, affection, and love.

I won’t ruin the movie or the book for you by saying much more on what happens from there but I will say that what Jonas learns is that he is far from living in a perfect world. He is living in a world devoid of the most precious things of a person’s existence – freedom, truth, and love. Jonas then is set on a path to reveal the truth of what all is being stolen from every person as well as to save the lives of thousands!

I personally think that everyone should see this wonderful film and read the book as well... as they teach some extremely timely lessons that are much needed in our own country today! Two of it’s greatest lessons that it shows unequivocally is that of the importance of Freedom and Love and that Life is precious and should be valued at every stage of life. It tackles the very weighty evils of abortion and euthanasia with strong visuals and dialogue and doesn't flinch from the repercussions. It also shows just how dangerous it can be when people allow themselves to become complacent and subservient and allow their freedoms to be taken away both willingly and unwillingly as well, even when done in the name of “peace” and supposed “good of all”.

This film is a GIVER of it’s own by making you think about it’s very timely message and the situations that it depicts...and it is one that will leave you feeling triumphant at the end.

I was truly shocked that such a pro-freedom and pro-life movie would come out of Hollywood. Many progressive and liberal people were attached to this one and they readily drink from the fountain of big government, less freedom, and most especially they usually loath anything even close to a prolife message. So I was doubly shocked that Meryl Streep (whom I personally can’t stand and was the main reason that I waited so long to see the film) would be in such a movie! Especially since she has always been so outspokenly pro-choice. It made perfect sense to me that she was cast as the villain in this one – and she fit it perfectly might I add - I think because what she was playing seems to be very close to her own personal belief system.

The only real problem I had majorly with the movie was the end did seem a bit rushed. I wish that they would have elaborated more at the end on several relationships and other things but that does not detract overall from the films very powerful messages. I was more than happy to have my teenage son watch this one with me and we discussed it in length afterwards and yes he liked it as well!

I could go on and on but the main thing is please DO see this wonderful film. I loved it and I believe you will too! It’s one about extremely important issues that every American (and the world over for that matter) from pre-teens to adults should be questioning and thinking about especially in view of the way our country is - and is - heading these days!

No strong language, nudity, or sex. Some violence is depicted in hunting and war imagery but it is not explicit. Much worse is seen daily and nightly on regular TV. The only real reason this one is rated PG-13 is because many of the issues it deals with would go over many under the age of 11 or 12's heads. It is a remarkably clean yet hard hitting movie.

I have thought about this long and hard and you know what, if a person can stand for and believes that it's truly all right to kill an innocent baby through abortion...you can never truly trust that person. Because and I mean this sincerely they are truly capable of ANYTHING. If they can be all right with killing a totally defenseless human being that has no chance at all of defending itself. Has never done anything to anyone and is completely blameless of anything. That is as abominable as you can possibly get period.

Now these same people almost to the letter would have an absolute fit if you said it was all right to kill a puppy or kitten - just smash it's little skull or give it a shot to stop it's heart. They would say that is cruel! How could anyone even think of doing such a thing? (And they would be right). They would never agree to such a thing for an animal, but they are perfectly fine with people doing the exact same things to babies in the womb. I will never understand that ever. It is beyond ludicrous and downright evil.

All right everyone that knows anything about me knows how I feel about abortion. I hate it completely.
I just want to say one thing in light of all the people throwing hissy fits over companies like Hobby Lobby not wanting to cover abortion causing drugs. If a person believes that abortion is wrong the very LEAST that a person could do would be to respect that belief. And if they own a company and are paying for health insurance they should not be made to pay for abortions or any drug that causes one period!

We supposedly live in the land of the free, but that's only true in many people's minds for as long as you agree with them. If they want something and you won't give it to them - (even if it goes against everything you believe at your very core) then too bad. You are just evil incarnate and should be made to give them what they want anyway...regardless of your rights and your beliefs.

At the VERY least if you are just are bound and determined and nothing is going to stop you from getting an abortion (and God forbid that you do) pay for it yourself! Don't make someone else have to pay for your choice!

I am sick and tired of hearing people whine about Hobby Lobby when they DO offer 16 out of the 20 different forms of birth control!!! People are loosing their minds over them not wanting to pay for the 4 abortion causing drugs! They have rights too!!! So get over yourselves! If you want to kill your child at the very, very least have the common decency and do not ask or expect someone else to pay the bill for it!

The Pro-Choice belief of killing to be humane

I have heard this same argument over and over and over again, how that in some situations it is "humane" to choose abortion than to let a child live. They could grow up poor and hungry, they could be abused, they could have a disease like MS or a thousand other things so it would be better to just abort them and save them the pain and suffering. I will NEVER for the life of me be able to wrap my head around that heartless totalitarian mentality. They usually want to start on this idea by be-crying the "rights" of a person to do what they want to with their own body, and if "their own" body were the only one affected, well I still don't agree with killing but that would be their ultimate decision. That particular situation is also called suicide not abortion. But abortion is the taking of someone else's life and it is the ultimate usurp of another person's rights because without the most basic and important right...the right to life no other rights matter or even come into play.
Case in point here is a conversation that I had with one pro-choicer very recently that commented on a very simple pro-life pic that I shared on my personal Facebook page. I have blacked out the name for privacy purposes. I don't know this man personally he was he said the friend of a friend and saw my post on his feed because of that. Here is the graphic followed by the comments...

No one can know how a person's life will end up. Even if they are the victim of some terribly hard times, and or abuse or whatever their situation may be...they could go on to live a very good and outstanding life afterwards in spite of all their hardships. In fact some of the very best people and leaders do just that! The bottom line is NO ONE has the right to play God and decide that it's all right to kill another person period!

We all have our favorite actors and actresses, athletes, singers, etc. that we love and look up too. But have you ever stopped to find out a little more about them other than about what they wore to the latest award show, or the last movie they were in? There are so many in the entertainment industry that have unfortunately bought into and promote the rabid support of abortion. But don't loose hope there are also many who are Pro-life! In fact some will probably surprise you! I would hasten to say that there are probably many more who simply don't say anything about their true beliefs on the matter, because they are scared to death that it might hurt their careers. But some have put it on record that they stand up for life and we should be proud of them and support them all the more for it!
I got to thinking a lot about this lately and I did a lot of digging and research and made up a list of Pro-life celebs who haven't been to afraid to say that they believe in the right to life! There are a few lists out there but almost all of them only list about 10 if that and they constantly just list the same celebs over and over again, when there are many more! (I have included a couple of stars that were outspokenly pro-life who have now passed on).
Let's share this far and wide and support these awesome celebs who believe in the sanctity of life! True equality and human rights will only ever begin with and believe in the right to life, because without the right to life no other rights even matter.

A Powerful Post Abortive Story from a Friend

I wanted to share a new friend of mine's very powerful story of abortion and redemption. She has been there she has lived it and she is proof that there this is hope after abortion. There is healing and love and you can find it, all you have to do is be willing to reach out and seek it. Please read and share Tara's powerful story.

"I am very outspoken and honest. I think sharing my mistakes shows who I truly am and what God has done with my life. I also want to sympathize with others, maybe help them see how much God loves them. I post a lot about abortion because I know first hand the horror of it. I feel it's my calling from God to help others be informed. I want any other women in the world to know that if she has been through it she can heal and be forgiven. It is not because I am judgmental or I hate women who have abortions. I want to love them. I also hope to make a difference and be a voice for the innocent unborn.

My story started 17 years ago when I was 17. I had a boyfriend. Like so many teens we gave in to lust. A couple months went by and I felt sick all the time. I didn't know what that meant. One of my friends suggested I take a pregnancy test. With tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat I saw the two lines. All those 2 lines meant to me was I am in trouble. No way would I tell my parents. I already didn't live up to their demanding expectations. I was terrified. My friend told me her sister's friend had an abortion. She told me that I could sleep over her house and she could take me in the morning. She told me that nobody had to know and I didn't need my parents permission. She even offered to lend me half of the cost. I remember this day so clearly when I told my boyfriend. He was so angry. He wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He told me it was my problem. From that moment on I shut down emotionally. I just went through the motions because I couldn't handle it any other way. So i called American Women's Center in Voorhees. They just scheduled my appointment and told me not to eat breakfast that Saturday morning. I thought to myself "that's it'. So that same friend who I am sure thought she was doing the right thing went with me.

We walked into the office building and it was packed. I signed in at the desk and they told me to have a seat. Wow it was strange to see so many girls with blank faces not speaking. I know I didn't want to do anything but get out of there. I wanted this nightmare to end but little did I know it wouldn't end. It would be the beginning of great pain in my heart. I was called to a room where the lady asked me to lay on a table. She rubbed the ultrasound on my belly. I was so clueless I didn't even know what she was doing. I could not see the "TV screen". She said the pregnancy is about 11 weeks along. She asked how I felt and I said nauseous. She said after my procedure I would feel all better. She said it would be all over soon and I could go back to my normal life. She had me walk to another room, the scariest place I have ever been. I had no name in there. I was "remove your pants from the waist down and put your feet in the stirrups. That man was so cold. He began doing whatever it was he was supposed to do. To me it felt like my insides were being ripped apart by a loud suctioning machine. He handed the nurse something. She walked away and a few minutes later said it is complete. Now I know complete meant every tiny limb and part of my baby was inside a jar. He left the room without saying a word to me. The woman said dress yourself and go back to that room and find an open recliner. I thought "are you kidding me? I am supposed to get up and walk?" I sat there and was given a Tylenol. After about a half hour she asked if I was okay to leave. They wanted me out of there and I wanted to be out of there.

Life went on but not how i thought it would. I was so depressed. I told a girl at school about it and she had a boy in our art class call me baby killer. I wanted to die. I imagined myself blowing my brains out in front of the whole school. I was alone. I started drinking. Everyone else seemed to be doing it and it numbed my pain. I wanted another boyfriend. I wound up having lot's of boyfriends because I had no respect for myself anymore. I got pregnant again. I wanted to. I felt like it would make things all better. It just made me a single teen mom with extremely disappointed parents who didn't have love for me anymore.

Yes this has been such a depressing story but a miracle happened. I met a man (my husband) who fell deeply in love with me and my infant daughter. I seemed to have it all but I still hurt inside. I called the clinic and told them how I was feeling and asked if they had counseling. They said no we don't do that. I looked in the phonebook and there was a number for a place called options. It said they did free counseling. That is when I met my angels. The two most loving women in the world. I skipped out on our first appointment out of fear and they still called me and wanted to meet me. My husband went with me and they even had babysitting. My husband is a hero. He did the whole 8 week program with me. They even had a private memorial service for my baby in a church. They gave me a beautiful certificate honoring the life of my child. My heart was changing. I felt a tug that made me feel guilty but not in a bad way. I knew what it was, the man upstairs. I prayed for the first time in my life. I felt relief, joy, and TRUE LOVE! I could go on. It was still hard especially seeing the ultrasounds of my other children and realizing I had destroyed a real human life. But it was different, i knew that man upstairs and He died on the cross for me. He loved me and forgave me. He gave me a new life and blessed me with way more than I deserve and could have imagined.

Abortion is not the answer that society portrays. It hurts women. Women and girls need support and love. We need to give it to them. I have had the opportunity to meet quite a few women who have been through it. God has used me to comfort them and spread His love. He wants me to spread truth in a very confused and blind society. I also hope I can spare others of this tragedy of losing their child. That is why I do what I do and am who I am.

I am blessed and thankful to be celebrating my 37th year on this earth by the grace of God. It breaks my heart to think that millions of other children have been the victims of abortion, and never got to even have one. It breaks my heart even more that there are those that still rally for death when they themselves were the recipients life, yet they blindly and willingly deny that same basic right to their fellow men and women. Thank God that is all I can keep thinking. I am truly so excited and just in shock at how many people have viewed and have shared the Phil Robertson speech that I posted last January on Youtube. Today I woke up to my inbox literally exploding with comments on it. Now I hasten to say once again that the video isn't really mine. It does NOT belong to me in anyway shape or form. The actual video it came from has been online and on Youtube since Febuary of 2010. I only shared the Pro-life part of the speech here on A Voice for Hope and on Facebook because I thought then as I still think now that it is a powerful, and much needed speech on the value and defense of human life that is sorely needed in our world today!

I have no idea what made it get noticed and go viral all of a sudden as it did yesterday. But I thank God for it! Thank God for letting this message be heard and shared by so many! May it help wake people up and save many lives! And may God bless Phil Robertson and his family and Duck Dynasty for their standing for what is right and not being afraid to say it publicly!

If a person will not even speak up to defend the life of an innocent baby in the womb, they can not be trusted to respect or do right by any life outside the womb either.

Look at the sign for abortion from the American Sign Language Dictionary.

It clearly shows in stark clarity that it's throwing away a baby and a human life.

Here is another sign language site showing 4 different variations for abortion in sign language. Notice that every single one clearly shows that it's throwing away or discarding like trash...
