For Sale Marina Blue 74 1200 Bug.

Up for sale is my Marina blue 74 1200 beetle. She is in good very original condition. Not had a lot of welding in its life, pretty well looked after and original.

Engine is its original 1200 which has been re-conditioned at some point in its life and runs sweet as a nut, one of the best engines I have had in a bug!

Body work isnt perfect but far from "rat look!" Had bit of welding on inner arches by previous owners and thats all its ever had as far as I can tell!

Interior is 100% original and in good condition minus a few small tears in seats.

All doors shut nice and dont drop, everything works as it should, had new front beam and exhaust for last MOT.

She is taxed for 4 months and MOT'd for 10 Months.

Watched it tonight. Genuinely enjoyed it. The genre isn't new, but a good story is a good story. Several convenient flaws in camera work, and some predictable elements, but seriously, it's a film I would watch for a second time

Right i have 1600 tp in my bay with 34 webbers and the standard exhaust and stainless tailpipe but i get a lot of popping and banging through the exhaust on throttle lift off is the standard exhaust to restrictive? What would be better
ran same carbs on my old bug but had a mondo fitted and never had this??

I was wondering if anyone has an idea where the best/ cheapest place is to buy a pair of US Splitty bumpers with towelrails etc? Preferably bear metal or white as I want them white eventually.

They do not have to be new but must be in good condition.

General 67 splitty - Adjustable hand reamer - Coventry

Would anyone be able to advise me where I could buy or rent an adjustable hand reamer in the Coventry area? I'm attempting to replace the steering idler pin on my 67 splitty and it seems the replacement bushes need to be reamed out to fit the pin.
Why aren't they made to fit the pin straight from the box?
24mm adjustable sounds like the one I need.
