I was on a business firm visit trip to Guangzhou during the reading week. Our first stop was KPMG. Big4 has nothing to shout about, it's just another typical accounting firm with accountants dressing in black suits working in the pathetically small partition. I'm not working as an accountant, ever.

Ogilvy is next. It was the most fruitful firm visit I ever had. In case you haven't heard of, Ogilvy is one of the top advertising firm in the world. Have you watched that Dove advert? It's one of Ogilvy's masterpieces. The office is an old factory turned two storey building which doesn't look officey at all from outside. Ogilvy adopt open office concept with fun fare theme. They include some elements of mary go round, ferris wheel, etc. in the office. Ogilvy is such a fun place to work in.

Ogilvy's meeting room! They're actually some very cool neon lights on the side wall but I didn't manage to snap a picture of it:( By the way, their GM and PR director were generous enough to give us a 3 hour very-inspiring talk.

"Ferris wheel". We can actually sit in there to take photos.
Games including foos ball, pin ball machines and toy bikes.
The loft. I guess all the great creative ideas originated here.

I'm applying for Ogilvy's summer internship post in HK. This internship is competitive but I wish I can spend my summer there. It gonna be a very good learning opportunity:S Wish me luck!

I'm 35minutes late but Merry belated Christmas everyone! I think this year, the xmas decors in KL are nicer than those in HK surprisingly and I'm glad to be home for xmas! By the way, it's snowing in Pavilion. Go get your hair shampooed for free tomorrow at 8pm sharp at the main entrance.
