Health department raids community picnic and destroys all food with bleach

We were told our food was unfit for consumption and demanded that we call off the event because:

Some of the prepared food packages did not have labels on them. (The code actually allows for this if it is to be consumed within 72 hours.)
Some of the meat was not USDA certified. (Did I mention that this was a farm to fork meal?)
Some of the food that was prepared in advance was not up to temperature at the time of inspection. (It was being prepared to be brought to proper temperature for serving when the inspection occurred.)
Even the vegetables prepared in advance had to be thrown out because they were cut and were then considered a “bio-hazard”.
We did not have receipts for our food. (Reminder! This food came from farms not from the supermarket! I have talked with several chefs who have said that in all their years cooking they have never been asked for receipts.)

In January, the FAA proposed new rules for the use of domestic drones, to implemented by 2015. The agency is being pressured to create new rules in part by the Pentagon, who warns that as two wars wind down, the nearly 7,500 robotic aircraft overseas need a place to come home to. But journalists and businesses also say they could make good use of the drones, and policemen have already starting using them.

The number of drones estimated to be in domestic operation by 2020: 30,000, according to the F.A.A.

Based on our experience with the Patriot Act, the National Defense Authorization Act, and several other laws Congress has enacted in recent years, it is not alarmist to fear or assume that when we give the government the power to snoop, they will indeed snoop.

“The government, through the FAA, already has the power to permit specific uses of drones, such as in fighting forest fires, looking for lost campers, or helping deal with natural disasters. And right now, they are being used to patrol the border. Some of those uses may be justified and legit, and the rules allow for that today. But directing the FAA to come up with a system that will allow federal, state and local law enforcement to deploy 30,000 drones is a very different proposition, and should absolutely not be allowed to proceed without a serious conversation about a very real threat to fundamental privacy.

“The ACLU, the Electronic Freedom Foundation and numerous other groups are expressing serious concerns about Congress’ action, as they should. I share those concerns. The idea that the air above our heads and homes should be turned into a wide-open playground for government snooping is an insult to freedom and to what remains of privacy in this country.”

Going forward, it will be tougher for right-wing corporate media to spin the Occupy movement as smelly hippie radicals desperate for a cause; any cause. Last week, Wall Street spin doctors just got chewed up in the spin cycle and hung out to dry with Occupy the SEC’s filing of a mesmerizing 325-page treatise on redesigning Wall Street to meet the Nation’s needs rather than its perpetuation as a wealth extraction scheme by lawyered up 1 percenters. (The number of lawyers providing public comment was exceeded only by Wall Street firms.)

Far removed from the unstructured demands of the overall Occupy movement, the 325-page tome is precise, hard hitting and essentially nails the core corrupting elements of the current system and lays out what must change. It shows an uncanny insider’s grasp of the minutiae in the Dodd-Frank financial reform legislation. And, it is more than 171 pages longer than the collective rant of Wall Street’s own sycophant trade groups, the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), American Bankers Association, the Financial Services Roundtable, and the Clearing House Association. The trade group letter called the proposal “absurd” and lectured the regulators that they should first “do no harm.” There is striking and arrogant amnesia in this letter regarding the staggering harm done to this Nation by their constituents.

Yes, Virginia, vote fraud also occurs in legislatures. The Framers were concerned with making elected representatives accountable for their actions. How can they be accountable when they are not present? How can they be sure that the vote that was cast in their name is indeed the vote they intended to cast? (Assuming our representatives intend to take their jobs seriously and are not voting in Party lock step for ALEC.) Not all legislatures allow proxy votes. Vote fraud in legislatures can involve illegally casting votes while absent, sometimes referred to as “ghost voting” or vote rigging.

The fact that this fraud is being committed by a Party member who just pushed Voter ID laws because he was so worried about non-existent voter fraud only deepens the divide; if they care about election integrity, why don’t they care about legislative vote integrity?

We are at a crossroads at this particular point in America and the decisions that we make today will permeate throughout our society in the immediate, future, and eventually on into the history of America. We can all see the current two party system has driven us off the road and into the ditch. A House divided cannot stand. Everyday Americans are having their strength, resolve, and faith tested. We are faced with one of the toughest economic situations in our Country's history. Our leaders and elected officials are talking more about problems than solutions and dividing us. On a day-to-day basis people are losing their jobs, homes, and most troubling they are losing hope. These are serious issues for any One of "US"

The United States has always taken great pride in the ideas and philosophies that shape our culture and way of life. As Americans, we share a common belief that through progress, innovation, and ingenuity we can reach the height of our potential, and maximize the livelihood of all of those who make America

The Candidate

Sixty-four is perhaps a little late to be having a mid-life crisis so how else can one explain a desire to run for President of the United States? It has been suggested that crazy, wacko and delusional go a long way in explaining the desire to “run.” The truth is I find myself frustrated by Government at all levels.

Perhaps it is a bit pretentious to believe I could run for President and actually think that others would stop to listen to my ideas, let alone vote for me, but this is where I find myself. Not seeing any other individual; Republican, Democrat, or Independent, who is willing to articulate responsible fiscal policies and also embrace middle of the road social values, I have decided to run for President. I wish to give leadership and a voice to those “middle of the road radicals” who now represent over one-third of the voting public.

We previously voted for “hope and change” and received more of the same. As a candidate I will advance solutions to problems that offer real hope and real change. We need simple answers to complex questions. We need common sense government free from the influence of lobbyists who routinely buy political favor to advance their agenda. As a truly independent candidate for President, I will represent the public without being a slave to the Republican or Democratic parties.

Qualifications

Mr. McCormick is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in finance. For forty years he has been a financial advisor/economist dealing with individuals and their financial needs on a daily basis. His business is highly regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, one of Government’s largest and most bureaucratic institutions. He has experienced firsthand the effect of rules and regulations handed down by a government agency which has given him priceless insight into the workings of Government.

As an investment advisor it is also imperative to be well informed on current political and economic events. Daily events force you to think through the cause and effect of each political action or inaction.

In their community Mr. McCormick and his wife have been actively engaged in community programs for decades. They have served on local community councils and committees in addition to managing and financing a homeless shelter that operates eight months of each year.

Frustrated and largely ignored, Buddy Roemer is ending his bid for the Republican nomination and will instead seek the presidency on a third-party ticket.

He says he will now run for the nomination of Americans Elect, an independent group seeking ballot access in all 50 states that plans to hold an Internet primary to choose a bipartisan ticket.

Roemer also said he's been in talks with the Reform Party, and will seek their nomination as well.

What it doesn’t express is where the money came from though Lord James of Blackheath proves conclusively that an effort was made to say it came from a gold reserve in Brunei that, in fact, never existed.

As Blackheath outlines, the “deception and cover” for this transfer is the imaginary seizure of 750,000 tons of gold by agents of an unspoken entity (confirmed by the highest official sources as the Bush family and CIA), the listed “source” of the money.

Breaking news Lord James of Blackheath has spoken in the House of Lords holding evidence of three transactions of 5 Trillion each and a transaction of 750,000 metric tonnes of gold and has called for an investigation.

I think there are three possible conclusions that may come from it. I think there may have been a massive piece of money laundering committed by a major government which ought to know better and that it has effectively undermined the integrity of the British bank the Royal Bank of Scotland, in doing so. The second alternative is that a major American department has an agency that has gone rogue on it because it has been wound up and has created a structure out of which they are seeking to get at least 50 billion Euros as a payoff. And the third possibility is that this is an extraordinarily elaborate fraud which has not been carried out but which has been prepared in order to provide a threat to one government or more if they don't pay them off. So there are three possibilities and this all needs a very urgent review.

My Lords, it starts in April and May of 2009, with the alleged transfer to the United Kingdom, to HSBC of a sum of 5 trillion dollars and seven days later, in comes another 5 trillion dollars to HSBC, and then 3 weeks later another 5 trillion. 5 trillion in each case. Sorry. A total of 15 trillion dollars is alleged to have been passed into the hands of HSBC for onward transit to the Royal Bank of Scotland and we need to look at where this came from and what the history of this money is. And I have been trying to sort out the sequence by which this money has been created and from where it has come from for a long time.
