Troubles with SPA system

1 Are you fully up to date with the firmware?
2 If all the call termination issues are related to the PSTN line on the SPA400, I suggest you check the available termination methods your service provider supports (reverse polarity, silence detection, call termination tone etc).
3 If you have spurious disconnecitons, this may also be related to an impedance mismatch or gain problems. If you have other telephones in parallel with the SPA400, this is likely to affect the impedance that the incoming line will see.
4 There is further echo cancellation on the SPA9000 regional tab. Tweaking the gain may also help.

2 Gizmo5 Accounts on SPA2102

I am looking to have two different Gizmo5 accounts on the Linksys/Cisco SPA2102. I am able to get line 1 working, but not line 2. Both are using sipphone's directions. Any suggestions on what settings will allow the 2nd line to work? I suspect that I may need an alternative SIP port.

For the second idea:
That's exactly what i meant, but the problem, that I see is the following:
I suppose that the Phone will try to display the image all over the screen.

It would be nice, if I could tell the phone to somehow use the Idlescreen-"Port"...

BrainTel on iPhone or other smart phones

Fring is probably the worst application for voip from latency point of view since all data goes through their servers. For iPhone I'd recommend using Siax, Siphon, iTalk, sip-voip, etc.

I use BrainTel with Siax and Siphon and it works great. You will need to jailbreak your iPhone but it is not difficult, takes less than 10 mins to do so..

Hi,

Thanks for the advice,
my problem now is that I'm not able to load anything :-(
The phone didn't start with the traditional "Start | Setup | About" menu page
It just restart one second after I plug the power in in an indefinitely loop, so I wonder if there is a master restart that provide a solution to my brick phone.

Newbie looking for some help on a Linksys 3102

I ahve searched and have not been able to find this in the topics. Thanks for any suggestions or tips that you may be able to provide.

I have a 3102 and it works just fine, except for the ring tone. I am using Panasonic cordless phones. The intial ring is garbled, then I only get one or two more half rings and that is it.

I am sure its a a setting for a ring tone or something. Can someone provide a proper ring settings parameter for the USA?

SPA9000/SPA3102 interoperability

Hello!

Please can anyone share some light on how to set up the SPA9000 and the SPA3102 to be able to have the extension registered to the SPA9000 to use the PSTN Line?

I have no clue how to do this setup!

I read this very useful post from a senior member of this community http://forum.voxilla.com/linksys-spa...ned-18034.html , but maybe I am just dummy enough to make it work, so a step by step would be required in my case
