Not totally sure from your story if you ran against the same issue as I did, but I managed to fix my problem. Might help you or others hitting this page through a search query. I am using the 3CX VOIP PBX. I have an analogue line connected through a Linksys SPA3102 ATA adapter to the 3CX PBX. For the configuration of this SPA3102 device I used the walkthrough at http://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/linksys-3102.html . It works fine. However once configured I noticed the caller ID of an incoming call on the analogue line wasn't being passed on to the 3CX PBX, just the internal registration number (10001 in my case). I googled to look for an answer on this and found some people stating to raise the theshold value, others stating to update the firmware. None of all that worked with me. A simple setting that was overlooked in the tutorial did! Go to the PSTN line tab in the configuration pages of the Linksys SPA3102 device. Scroll down to the PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway Setup section. Here you will find an option PSTN CID For VoIP CID. Set this to yes, save your changes and voila. It worked here. I now nicely see the incomming caller ID on my 3CX connected VOIP clients.

I have not tested it that way nor seen a report of someone using a SPA901 but I believe the ip phone settings are similiar to the line settings in the Cisco/Linksys analog telephone adapters and the SPA3102's Line tab.

Hi All,
I have an SPA 400 and recently upgraded the firmware to 1.1.2.2 and ever since I can't get it to reset.

The network no longer sees the devive, I can't access it directly or anything.
I have tried powering off, pressing the reset on powerup, holding the rest in for 30 second, holding in reset whilst powering up and have run out of options.

Does anyone have any idea how I can get my 400 back please?

Cheers

I haven't seen a list. Some that do not require registration are CallCentric, Future-Nine, and the Betamax Companies (VoipStunt, VoipBuster, etc). As you know, authentication (userid, password, etc) is provided at the time of the call. Registration is, of course, required for an incoming call.

Yes. I run an old mechanical Strowger rack as a hobby, connected up to the Cnet collectors network. We dial an '0' which of course removes the local DT and routes you off into what replicates the National and International networks i.e. the web, accessed in my case via the Linksys. As the initial DT is provided to the phone by the Strowger rack, it's not required after dialling an '0'. In fact it sounds really stupid ! I've now dropped it back to -60 and it's hardly noticeable.
