I have a hardware SIP phone, and a PC that runs VPN software in order to set up a split tunnel connection to the office. The PC cannot route IP while the VPN is running ...

So, in order to send data from the SIP phone into the office network, I need to have a proxy of some sort running on the PC. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I just have the same problem with a PAP2T, the phone did'nt show the caller id and this worked for me:

In the regional settings just change "Caller Id Method" set it on Bellcore (North America, China), if you are in North America, i'm from Mexico and that configuration worked very well, good luck!

Fritzbox 7140 annex A: Alternative programs/firmware?

I have a Linksys/Sipura SPA3000 and I am very happy with the way it operates. I like the dial plan set up and I can make it do all I want.
I also have a Fritzbox 7140. I find the dialling experience a pain :(. The so called 'quick dials' are far too long, all numbers beginning with * are routed to internal operations, a # has to be appended to each number dialled, there are no number conversion capabilities in the dial plan, etc., etc.
These are just a few of the things I don't like.
Hence I want to change the way in which the Fritzbox operates. If I could bypass completely the fixed dial rules and route directly out to Voxalot then this would be satisfactory, then I can set up voxalot to route as I please. Alternatively a complete reflash with different firmware might be a solution. Any reference to reflashing, with alternative firmware, seems to end on a page in German. Dealing with technical things, in a language I don't understand, is no use to me.
Any suggestions as to how I can proceed?

Hello, i'm new in this forum. I have the following configuration - a SMC7908VoWBRA modem-router that i configured for using with Sip voipbuster. Calling to PSTN lines works fine but now i want to make an entry in the "speeddial" for calling to a voipbuster user that uses the voipbuster pc client. How do i have to put the username into the speeddial - i tried already with username@voipbuster.com and as username@sip.voipbuster.com but none of the 2 seems to work.
Anyone any idea ?
