I got back and found out that the numbers are canceled after 30 days of inactivity.  I am hoping that I can get a new number going soon.  I requested a new number 2 days ago.</div>

I received an email reply from IPKall yesterday with a Phone Number and the rest of the information that I originally registered with.<br />

When I try to login following the link provided in the email, I'm not able to.  I receive the message: <b>Invalid number or password</b><br />
 <br />
When I try to use the Forgot Your Information link and supply my email address, I received this message: <b>There are no accounts registered under that email address.</b><br />
 <br />
When I try to call the number, a voice recording says something like: The number you called is an unassigned number.<br />
 <br />
Am I doing something wrong or did IPKall not properly/completely register the phone number emailed to me?<br />
 <br />
Please Help...<br />

I recently purchased and hooked up an IP0020 VoiP phone ... I have a VoIPCheap.com account ... and I registered for an IPKALL number.<br />
After hooking up my phone and configuring, I was able to immediately dial out successfully.<br />
 <br />
But when people try to call my IPKALL number, my phone will ring ... but when I answer, I am the one who gets the busy signal.  Part of the issue ... is that most of the solutions seem to deal with a CONFIG file ... whereas my VoIP phone seems to be configured via a webpage that I access through my browser.<br />
 <br />
For my IPKALL configuration I am using the following:<br />
 <br />
SIP Phone:  [VoIPCheap username]<br />
SIP Proxy: [sip.voipcheap.com]<br />
 <br />
The problem comes ... from how I'm suppose to configure my phone.  What should the values be for the following fields?  Any suggestions?<br />

SIP Server Address<br />
Outbound Proxy<br />
SIP User ID<br />
Account ID<br />
 <br />
??<br />
 <br />

I would open a free SIP account with mysipswitch and use this for your ipkall forwarding and xlite settings.  Do this, and you are ready for action.<br />

  Just login to IPKALL and enter your telephone's SIP account name, password and server name and it should ring.    IF you don' have a SIP account, open one with mysipswitch and enter that with IPKALL instead.  <br />

  IF you are using the softphone, use the mysipswitch SIP account to configre the softphone account and IPKALL forwarding, and that phone should now ring.   Mysipswitch lets you ring all phones at once.  <br />
<br />
  You can later add voice service providers (VSPs) to mysipswitch for things like free toll-free calls dialing, free voicemail, free 411 dialing, free SIP calls and Enum/INUm dialing, and, free SIPCode dailing.  On the softphone, click the checkbox to register, but do not check register on the mysipswitch account settings.   Search the mysipswitch forum for help with that....<br />

New here and don't quite get it yet. I am about to get an INUM. Can I use that with an IPKALL number registered to a sip account and avoid any in call or out call charges? I currently have a Callcentric account and a Gizmo account. Can I do this?<br />
<br />
BTW I also have my old PSTN line number ported to Callcentric on my sip number.. I am planning on getting my INUM through Callcentric because I already have an account with them. If I register my Callcentric account with my INUM will I incur incoming charges to my Callcentric DID? Can I get an INUM from them without registering it to my account?<br />

My google voice account also forwards to ipkall. For any call originating from google voice passig through ipkall, I get incorrect caller id 2062040232.<br />
<br />
This started happening about a month ago.</div>
